Show was wonderful, magical and moody. Very different vibe to her last show in Vancouver solo show as part of Westward Music Festival in 2018. Angel's dry wit was in full bloom last night as well.

Only downside was at times her vocals were lost at louder moments. Not sure if this was just because of our placement in the venue (5th row, right orchestra) but a friend overheard others saying they experienced it outside when the show ended too.

OH MY GOD THIS WOMAN IS AMAZING! She hit me in the gut, the experience was quite visceral. The two string players were also AMAZING- the entire band was fire.

If you have the chance to see her, please do! Can't believe I almost sold my tickets!

I drove 3 hours to see Angel Olsen (for the 3rd time) play at the Royale Boston. Another great show, with most songs from the latest album. Angel is a great performer, but also personable and really funny. The band was great. Emotions were high. and the Royale and great place to see a show. Loved it!

Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen, and Julien Baker Announce U.S. Tour

Sharon Van Etten , Angel Olsen , and Julien Baker have announced a summer tour of the United States together. The Wild Hearts Tour starts in Virginia on July 21, concluding in Central Park. A dollar from the sale of each ticket will go to nonprofit causes for post-carceral support via Plus1 . See the full itinerary below.

Last spring, Olsen and Van Etten joined forces on the single “ Like I Used To .” Olsen followed that with Aisles , a 1980s covers EP featuring songs by Alphaville, Men Without Hats, and Billy Idol. After releasing her third album Little Oblivions early last year, Baker reunited with her Boygenius bandmates for a benefit show in November, their first gig together since 2018.

Angel Olsen to Deliver ‘Songs From the Archive’ on Solo Tour

Angel Olsen ‘s band will hang back as she takes the road solo on the forthcoming Songs From the Archive Tour. The singer and songwriter will perform 10 cities this September with a set list spanning her six-album discography . Maxim Ludwig, Runo Plum, Kyle Ryan, Greg Mendez, and Domino Kirke will join her as special guests on select dates.

The Songs From the Archive Tour will begin on Sept. 8 in Sonoma, California at the Gundlach Winery. The remainder of the run features stops as similarly idiosyncratic locations, including Ojai, California; Fish Creek, Wisconsin; Beverly, Massachusetts; Lebanon, New Hampshire; Portland, Maine; and more. Olsen’s final show on the tour is scheduled for Sept. 30 at the Count Casie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey.

General sale will begin on Friday, April 19. Tickets can be purchased via the official Angel Olsen website.

Angel Olsen confirms 2023 tour dates

Olsen is hitting the road in support of latest album big time ..

Angel Olsen will be hitting the road alongside her Big Time Band for a headline tour of North America. Olsen has confirmed plans for shows taking place through January and February. Erin Rae will open on all dates. Tickets for the newly announced shows are on sale this Friday at 10am local time. See below for venue and location details.

Olsen released Big Time in June. Last week she shared a new version of the title track featuring guest vocals from Sturgill Simpson.

Angel Olsen has revealed her 2024 “Songs from the Archive Tour,” which will see the singer-songwriter playing intimate venues throughout California and the Northeast in September.

During the US run, Olsen will play completely solo and dive deep into her catalog for songs rarely performed with her backing band. The tour kicks off on September 8th in Sonoma, California, and will also make stops in Portland, Maine; Northampton, Massachusetts; and Albany, New York before wrapping up in Red Bank, New Jersey on September 30th. Last year, Olsen dropped her Forever Means   EP as the follow-up to her 2022 album, Big Time . Since then, she’s recorded a cover of Lou Reed’s “I Can’t Stand It” for an upcoming tribute album .

Angel Olsen Will Briefly Hit The Road Later This Year For Her Solo ‘Songs From The Archive Tour’

Times have been good for Angel Olsen fans over the past few years, as she’s released three albums since 2019, including her latest, 2022’s Big Time (as well as her 2023 EP Forever Means ). If it’s been a minute since you’ve seen Olsen on a stage, today (April 16) brings good news: She just announced her Songs From The Archive Tour .

It’s a brief run of shows, comprised of just ten dates in September. The shows will hit intimate venues in California and the Northeast, including areas she hasn’t been to in a while.

Tickets are set to go on sale starting April 19, and more information can be found on Olsen’s website . Furthermore, per a press release, Olsen has partered with PLUS1 so “$1 from every ticket sold goes to supporting Voter Formation Project and their work increasing participation in elections using digital communications strategies to engage, register, and mobilize new and infrequent voters of color.”
