“A jaw-dropping funhouse!” - The New York Times

Broadway's “SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!” ( Variety ) musical comedy is now haunting houses all across the country! Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, BEETLEJUICE tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book, an astonishing set, and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is “A FEAST FOR THE EYES AND SOUL!” ( Entertainment Weekly ). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O!

Cast & Creative

Hugh Jackman is an Academy Award–nominated, Golden Globe and Tony Award–winning performer who has made an impression on audiences of all ages with his multi-hyphenate career persona — as successful onstage as he is on film. From his award-winning turn on Broadway as the 1970s singer/songwriter Peter Allen to his metal-claw-wielding Wolverine in the blockbuster  X-Men  franchise, Mr. Jackman has proven to be one of the most versatile actors of our time. The Australian native made his first major U.S. film appearance as Wolverine in the first installment of the  X-Men  series, a role he reprised in the enormously successful  X2  and  X-Men: The Last Stand . He then starred as the title character in  X-Men Origins: Wolverine , a prequel to the popular series that grossed $85 million domestically in its first weekend of release. Audiences once again saw Jackman in the popular role in the next chapter , The Wolverine , which grossed over $400 million worldwide. In 2014, Mr. Jackman and the X-Men team reunited for  X-Men: Days of Future Past.  He garnered his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his performance in Tom Hooper’s  Les Misérables  in 2012. BroadwayWorld has learned that a production of Meredith Willson 's The Music Man will tour across the United States beginning January 2026. The new production will be produced by Big League Productions.

Big League Productions is currently touring The Cher Show, and will also tour The Addams Family in 2025. Other recent national tours include Little Women and A Christmas Story: The Musical.

In a statement exclusively to BroadwayWorld, Executive Producer Daniel Sher said "2026 marks the 250th birthday of the USA and we are thrilled to bring this slice of classic Americana coast to coast starting in January of 2026. Boasting a traditional theatrically robust production, the show’s creative team will revisit the material with modern eyes in realizing a lush Mid-West landscape fully in bloom."

Booking is by Tracey McFarland at Broadway & Beyond Theatricals (BBT).

The Music Man was most recently revived on Broadway for the 2021/2022 season starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster . The production played 358 regular and 46 preview performances

Meredith Willson 's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957. The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.
