Primary and Secondary School Tours

The GAA Museum love to host primary and secondary school tours. For primary schools, our Croke Park stadium tours and GAA Museum visits are always a big hit. Classes can also followtheir Junior Explorer trail around the museum or add a Cú Chulainn workshop to learn more about the history of hurling. Secondary school tours can take a history focused stadium tour, or include a walk on the roof of the stadium with their ‘Skydium’ package combining highlights of our Stadium and Kellogg’s Skyline Tour.

Café in GAA Museum

There is a café in the GAA Museum which is open daily serving hot lunches, sandwiches, pastries, snacks, etc. There are also picnic facilities (outdoor) and if you are bringing a group there are indoor facilities available for your group to have a packed lunch.

GAA Museum On Match Days

On GAA Championship match days, the museum usually opens at the same time as the turnstiles and remains open throughout the day until one hour after the end of the match schedule.  While the normal stadium tour timetable does not operate on a big match day, visitors can enjoy a pre-match guided tour of the stadium on selected match days during Championship season.

The GAA Museum is generally open on match days but access is restricted to match ticket-holders who enjoy FREE admission to the GAA Museum.

Access for visitors with special needs

The G.A.A. Museum and Croke Park Stadium Tour are both wheel-chair accessible.

Please note that the tour route is subject to change on a daily basis and it is advisable to telephone the museum in advance of visiting to check arrangements – Tel:  (01) 819 2323 .  Groups are required to book in advance.
