The guide, Mr. Filali Abdelali, was excellent and he went beyond the call of his duty to make this trip extra special for us. The itinerary was great and everyday was better than the previous day. Over all the whole trip went off like clockwork and definitely exceeded our expectations.

Amazing 7day Norway tour with exoticca

Amazing 7day Norway tour with exoticca. Everything for us was perfect! Well organised tour. Our tour guide Sergio was brilliant! Very informative tour and lots of places to see. Tomas our driver was excellent too! We feel safe with his driving and help us load and unload our luggages. It's our first time to join a grouo tour and we have an amazing experienced. It's exceeded our expectations. All 33 of us in the group blended really well considering we all just met there and we all came from different countries. Hotel locations were perfect! Downside was the daily unpacking of our luggages but it did not affect our 5 star rating with the tour. Some guided tour will require 30-45mins of walking and some areas are uphill. Please wear comfy shoes. Overall, we highly recommend the tour.

Well done Exoticca - magical trip

The trip was well organised and the service received before our travel was excellent. The person who met us at the airport gave us all the information in an orderly manner. The hotels and locations were great. Close to sites, transport, restaurants, etc.

South Africa Bucket List Trip

Another amazing destination from Exoticca! Doing this trip on our own would’ve been very difficult, glad they had it all sorted out and handpicked for us. Loved all the adventures, the big five safari, worlds largest green canyon, one of world’s 7natural wonder, and exploring cape town. It ended up being a bucket list trip that we did not expect! South Africa and Zimbabwe

I just returned from a trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe and I loved every minute of it. The guides were really friendly and knowledgeable, the group wasn't too big (there were 24 of us) and a variety of extra activities to suit everyone. I would definitely recommend it and based on this experience I would probably book another trip with Exoticca

Our tour guide was great and helpful. The place was beautiful lots to see the food at the breakfast was great, accommodation was good. The bus was very spacious but a good Air conditioner cougar National Park was amazing.We saw all the big 5 Cape Town was beautiful.Lots to see lots of history beautiful scenery and lanescape.

April 2024 The Empire of the Incas

April 2024. Recently returned from Peru, an 11-day holiday, "the Empire of the Incas". The flights were fine, the hotels comfortable and clean, and the partner local holiday company in Peru, called Condor Travel, were excellent. Friendly, helpful and always knowledgeable. Our party of about 30 was truly international: Americans, Canadians, Spanish, Indians, and Chinese: this made the whole experience so much richer, and more fun. In short a great holiday, good value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone. Machu Picchu is ....well, like nowhere else.

Third trip with Exoticca and what another amazing time we had…

Third trip with Exoticca and our trip to Argentina did not disappoint. Great structure, Attentive tour operators, seamless collection and transfer to hotels. Good info via Exoticca app and messages inbetween from tour operators. No pressure sales just support from people who were focused on ensuring you had a good time. Booked additional trips easily. Pace was fast as expected, travelling around great distances from amazing glaciars to rainforests and waterfalls with a great city in-between. Air travel was well organised and efficient ( be aware that there can be delays in departure times but this did not affect any connecton we had. Argentina dispelled myths and any fears with people who were friendly, helpful and appreciated the effort you made to fit in with their world. I wouldn't hesitate to return!

The air transfer service was great

The air transfer service was great . The warm welcome from the local touring company has made a difference. The experienced and knowledgeable driver Humphrey was amazing. He was always punctual and engaging with very positive attitude. He was very friendly and accommodating. He was also excited to see the wild animals like the tourists, his attitude brought cheers for everyone. We were lucky to see the Big Five despite of the rain season. We felt very safe and well looked after at all times. Many thanks to Humphrey and Vera, you guys have done an amazing job!

PORTUGAL is one of a good history to look back and to learn.

Knowing about Portugal its history, culture, food and people made my travel experience awesome. From the price, hotels, tour guide, drivers are also great.

Excellent trip to Egypt with Exoticca

Excellent trip to Egypt with Exoticca, including all the excursions and the 3 nights on a nile river boat. Everything ran smoothly and we saw all of the sights. Only points to mention are that as part of the sight seeing experience, you will also get several retail opportunities but you can avoid spending if you don't want to. Guide was superb, very knowledgeable and amusing, which really made the trip. It's all run by local operators, mainly Planet Tours and they were great. No issues with security and we always felt safe. Hotels were all good when we weren't on the boat, as was the boat. As of 2024, take plenty of $1 and $5 notes, and/or change 500 EGP notes into 50s and 100s

3 South American countries with Exoticca

Whatever Exoticca promise on their website maybe true if all goes to plan . When you need help in a foreign country , you get NOTHING ! Left stranded at Peru airport for 12 hours to sort out onward journey to Argentina. Local guards not great , Peru was the best of the 3 and they vary in each country . In Brazil 2 guides met us and it was late and they didn’t speak English ( not their fault , but…. Not what the website says). Nobile hotel in Brazil at best a 2*_ Dire! Rest of the trip was fairly good but what they did to us in Peru was very irresponsible. We were the only ones at the airport to Buenos Aires: everyone else seem to know and came in later except for our tour guides who picked us up 🤦🏽‍♀️

Exotica should consider longer tours 14-16 day trips Caution on time line for connecting trips ,very bad experience in Paris France with Air France employees of airport. My wife and I traveled counter…

My wife and I traveled counter clockwise around Peru with exotica. It was our first time traveling in a group tour. We weren’t sure what to expect but from the moment we landed we were taken care of by locals who knew the places and how to navigate them. No more figuring out car rentals, routes to travel, where to stay. Completely stress free travel. I always kind of scoffed at group tours whenever I came across them in my travels. But I would highly recommend trying exotica, especially in countries you may not be familiar with.

A fascinating tour with rich history…

A fascinating tour with rich history from the Bronze Age through to the communist years. Edmond, our guide, knows his country well and especially interesting were his descriptions of life in the dictatorship. We had many questions which he took the time to answer. An excellent guide. The itinerary ran to schedule, hotels, food and drink were good, the coach rides between stops were full of memorable scenery. A really enjoyable, good value tour.

A Great Way to Experience Peru

The way the tour was organized was great. It helped us get acclimated to the high altitude and introduced us to the great sights of Peru. There were some mishaps like the bus without a toilet for a long ride. However, I really appreciate Exoticca offering our group paid lunch to make up for the bus issue. The local guides were a range of good and great. I'd like to especially thank: (1) Victor who took us from Arequipa to Colca Canyon; he helped me get through my altitude sickness with some stretches and breathing exercises; and (2) Miguel, our guide at Rainbow Mountain, who let me borrow his walking sticks and patiently waited for us because we were slow hikers. Overall, this tour is great. Be prepared for high altitude sickness and must be at least an intermediate level hiker if you're going to do Rainbow Mountain. I'd say we'd love to do this tour again with more friends.

Exoticca took all the friction out of the trip!

This was a well organized trip with fantastic local tour guides in every location. Hotels were beautiful and above expected. They took care of getting tickets to all the must see attractions in each city which made things much easier than doing it on your own (which we usually do) I almost didn't book this trip due to negative reviews on call centre customer service but so glad I did.

Just come back from a trip round…

Just come back from a trip round Ecuador/Amazon/Galipagos with Exotica. Overall a great trip...well organised and great company with our other travellers Good value and would thoroughly recommend! Only blip was our luggage was lost by KLM and we spent three days in the jungle with what we were wearing on the plane...proper jungle experience! Very difficult to get a satisfactory response from KLM who basically don't want to know....but the rest of the holiday (when we were eventually re united with our luggage) was excellent!

Most Amazing Trip of a Lifetime

Most Amazing Trip of a lifetime. Exoticca definitely did South Africa right!!! Our hotels were amazing, tours were spot on and the price you couldn't beat. The only issue we had was after booking. I don't blame Exoticca really I blame the girl who was handling our file. She was not experience and did not know anything about the package we purchased. We did upgrade to Luxury and was well worth the small price difference. The excursions were amazing. I definitely would book Exoticca again.

With covid-19 pandemic ravaging the world, we decided to travel to Africa for our anniversary after the reopening of airports in most countries globally and Uganda was our desired destination. We searched around for our trip management company and Mukisa Safaris emerged as our company of choice. We're extremely happy that we chose Mukisa Safaris. The company exhibited much professionalism during our trip organization and execution. During the pre-trip communication, Richard was exceedingly helpful and would reply very promptly to our queries. On arrival at the airport, we were picked amidst observing the SOPs directly to our booked hotel where we started off our safari in the morning. We visited several places including Murchison falls, Kibale Forest and Bwindi and we were in the company of our guide Veronica and John. These two are wonderful and amazing people. They were so friendly, courteous and professional. Veronica was so knowledgeable about Uganda and her knowledge about birds and all the animals was breathtaking. Ugandans are loving and kind. They made our stay in Uganda so memorable. I highly recommend Mukisa Safaris.

Historic, diverse landscapes and tribes of Ethiopia

The coordination, drivers and guides were exemplary. We felt well cared for and safe. With the exception of the Haille in Arba Minch, the hotels in the South were less than we expected. This was complicated by city wide electrical outages. In spite of all the discomfort, yes we are happy that we did it!

10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Adventure

Our guide Graham was the best, from the moment he picked us from the hotel for a start of safari, we kind of felt safe. He was very friendly to the kids and was able to show us everything. Literally we saw all we wanted to see including the rhinos in Lake Nakuru. Accommodations were good in Kenya and basic in Tanzania, i would advise those who are not into camping to upgrade to lodges. But if you are ready to rough it up, then go for it, after all its just a couple of days only.

7 Day Kenya and Tanzania combine safari

Really recommendable!!! Great tour - 7 days of pure amazement ???? Gathered a lot of experiences and everything worked out perfectly - we had a small change of plan at our request so that we could visit a Maasai village and a banana plantation ???????? The two guides (Kenya and Tanzania one guide each) were very friendly, funny and explained a lot! Of course you spend a lot of time in the car ... especially the drive from Nairobi to Maasai Mara and from Maasai Mara to Serengeti is long, but it goes by really quickly and you can't stop looking - you drive past lots of villages!

7 Days PRIVATE Best of Tanzania Safari ** Departing Everyday ** Sustainable approach to travel, Travelife Certified

The experience started off terribly for two reasons. The first being that tour Radar sent an email raising the price even though we clicked on their limited time special offer for the private tour. We refused to pay more and told them to add us to a group instead. We ended up on a private tour thankfully. Be very careful booking with tour Radar. The second negative was upon exiting the airport in Kilimanjaro a sign with our names was nowhere to be found. Everyone else had their names clearly posted and were happily off with their tour companies. The world adventure representative had our names hidden and refused to show it to us unless we confirmed that we were there to do the safari with them. Very suspicious behavior. For this reason I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone. The next day we met our guide (Mohammed/moody). What an amazing experience it was doing a 6 day safari with him. He went out of his way to ensure that we saw everything possible and that we were totally comfortable at every hotel and lodge. We left on time every morning and spent the entire day looking for every animal that exists in Tanzania. We saw Africa's big 5 and there were lions everywhere, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos and everything else were plentiful and you could literally reach out and touch them. If you book with world adventure, request Moody as your guide

Let me start by saying that booking our Uganda/Rwanda safari through Mukisa was truly one of the best decisions that we’ve ever made! I am the type of person that meticulously plans every trip and will read through countless reviews, itineraries, etc. before making a decision. For this trip in particular, we were looking for a private tour that had a wide range of activities from multiple treks to game drives and cultural experiences. What initially drew me to Mukisa was the positive feedback from other guests and a mention on their website that they encourage/aid female tour guides. Upon reaching out through their website, I was immediately impressed with Richard’s quick responses, level of detail and ability to accommodate all of our requests. We started with the “10 Days Safari to Encounter Uganda’s Gorillas, Wildlife & Kigali City Tour” but Richard was able to help us customize the trip and integrate other activities that we were interested in - for example, my husband and I wanted to include a bike ride at the end of our trip. We originally didn’t think this could be part of our safari experience so reached out to a few local bike companies but received no responses. I posed the question to Richard (thinking it would be difficult to accommodate) and within 24 hours, he had found us a bike guide and adjusted our trip’s itinerary. Richard showed a tremendous amount of professionalism throughout the planning process, and loved that he met us in-person at the start of our trip! In terms of the actual safari, I could write several pages on all of the things that we loved but I’ll keep it to a few highlights: 1. The safari had an incredibly wide range of things to do, see, explore, etc. - from the types of animals (we were able to see the Big 5!) to the environments, ranging from jungle to forest to savannah. It was a lot to squeeze into 11 days but we truly feel like we left Uganda/Rwanda with a well-rounded experience. 2. All of the accommodations were conveniently located, clean and comfortable. If possible, we would recommend staying at the same hotel for at least 2 nights/each so you can feel settled and potentially upgrading 1-2 hotels, if you’re looking for additional amenities (e.g. swimming pool). Elephant Hab was our favorite hotel in Uganda. 3. We absolutely adored our guide & driver! Most of the other tour groups that we encountered had a single male guide/driver and we loved that Mukisa prioritized giving opportunities to female guides. Mable and Solomon went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every aspect of our trip and even made adjustments to the itinerary on the fly. Mable had a wealth of knowledge about the animals, culture, people, etc. and Solomon was an exceptional driver - making sure we saw all of the animals on our bucket list and navigating the constantly changing conditions. 4. It was quite clear that Mukisa has a strong reputation in the safari community. Several of the hotel managers and rangers made comments to us that they always enjoy working with Mukisa, and they have some of the best guides/drivers. If you’ve made it this far through my review then I hope you’re now considering Mukisa for your upcoming trip. I do not typically write extensive reviews but I genuinely think that this company is one of the best out there and will make this trip everything you could’ve imagined and more!

Will return to East Africa Exotic Safaris for my next trip

Me + 2 friends had an excellent time at Basecamp in the Maasai Mara. Raphael was able to negotiate competitive rates for us and help us with the reservation. He continually checked in on me to make sure that I received booking confirmation, directions, that I arrived at the camp safely. I overpaid due to a small miscommunication and he personally delivered the cash to me at my workplace. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and will recommend to friends.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience

Awesome experience. We saw herds of elephants moving from the bush to the marsh, prides of lions lounging during the day and playing during the night, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, etc. We were able to see just every animal we wanted and more. The safari was also well planned in the we were able to go to Amboseli National Park and see Mount Kilimanjaro. Our last day at Amboseli, we had breakfast outside on a patio on a crystal clear day and had the best view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The only thing that I would leave out is Lake Nakuru. The redeeming factor for this trip was seeing rhinos and a very cool interaction between a few lions and water buffaloes, but if you’re coming to see flamingos (which it was previously famous for) make sure to check the conditions before you come. Lake Nakuru’s water levels were too high when we came so we hardly saw any flamingos.

Our contact with East Africa Exotic Safaris began in 2012. As part of a medical health brigade we were looking for a safari tour to end our journey to Kenya before heading back to Canada. We arranged all of our safari with Mr. Raphael Mutari, the principal at East Africa Exotic Safaris. His service was exceptional handling every last detail of our safari making the entire experience effortless for us. His communications were prompt and courteous. His suggestion for our safari location in the Masai Mara went beyond our expectations and all 6 of us were incredibly satisfied. He provided an outstanding level of service.

Efficient, trustworthy, good value for money, polite, greeted us everyday with a genuine warm smile, extremely helpful even over the phone – Raphael the manager, based in Nairobi, Kenya, phoned the PesaPal company in Nairobi to make sure which email address i should use to confirm payment (I am based in Mtwara, Tanzania) and promptly emailed me back with all details. At the end of our trip, Raphael left us both a small parting gift of tea and coffee at the hotel we were staying, a token of appreciation for having chosen Exotic Safaris and a reminder that good, polite service starts from the very first bout of interaction and ends on a thank you note.

The driver George was a careful and responsible driver, mindful and very respectful of animals and their habitat, knowledgeable on animals and sharing interesting tidbits on animal behavior. He made sure we saw as many animals as possible in our short 4 safari day trip, was very open to discussing and re-organizing day trip plans and overall a sensible, easy going travel companion.

Superb service made the trip perfect

I booked with East Africa Exotic Safaris as a last minute excursion when coming to Nairobi for a business conference. I had contacted several tour operators and due to the prompt and very courteous reply opted to use their services. From the outset, I was never disappointed. Always fast on replying and was punctual in coordination of activities plus the driver was knowledgeable to make this excursion perfect. We even got lucky and saw a pack of lions crossing the road. This was my fifth time going on a safari so I knew what to reasonably expect and they raised the bar with perfect service.

I had a great time on the safari. The location was amazing, living conditions superb, and safari tour was exciting.
