Five Finger Death Punch add headline shows to their previously announced 2022 European tour schedule

Five Finger Death Punch have bolstered their summer 2022 European tour itinerary by adding a raft of headline shows to their previously announced festival bookings.

The American heavyweights will launch their 2022 European tour campaign at NovaRock festival in Austria on June 12 before playing the first of nine headline shows in Moenchengladbach, Germany on June 14. Further dates will be announced in due course. Megadeth will support 5FDP at their first three headline shows, in Moenchengladbach (June 12), Berlin (June 15) and Rotterdam (June 20).

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH are pleased to announce their first European tour since early 2020. Kicking off at Nova Rock Festival in Austria in June, the award-winning, multi-platinum selling band will perform throughout the continent bringing their incendiary shows to festivals and arenas in 19 cities in 16 countries. Today’s announcement sees a series of headline shows – shown in BOLD below – added to existing festival dates.

Five Finger Death Punch last sold out shows across Europe in February 2020 with special guests  Megadeth  and  Bad Wolves . The band is fresh off their latest #1 single  “Darkness Settles In.”   In June, it notably marked the band’s 12th all-time #1 on the U.S. rock radio chart.  The track, a fan favorite taken from their latest chart-topping and critically-praised studio album   F8   (via  Better Noise Music ) ,  was produced by the band, alongside music super-producer  Kevin Churko   (Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, Slash, etc.).

The single followed in the footsteps of the album’s three previously released smashes, “Inside Out,”   “A Little Bit Off,”  and  “Living The Dream,”   all of which reached the #1 spot on the same chart. The band also recently celebrated the Gold certification of “A Little Bit Off” in the U.S. and Sweden.  F8  is now available for streaming, download and purchase on picture disc vinyl, red vinyl, heavy weight vinyl and CD  HERE .

The band is currently in the studio working on new music for their forthcoming ninth studio album to be released in 2022.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Announce Summer 2022 European Headline Dates

FIVE FINGER PUNCH have added a slew of headline shows to their previously announced European festival bookings.

The band are set to launch their 2022 European tour at NovaRock festival in Austria on June 12 before playing the first of nine headline shows in Moenchengladbach, Germany on June 14. Further dates are still to be announced.

MEGADETH will act as support for FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH at their first three headline shows, in Moenchengladbach (June 12), Berlin (June 15) and Rotterdam (June 20).

Five Finger Death Punch are winding up for another round of live shows supporting their ninth album, 2022’s AfterLife . Between support slots in 2023 and 2024 across Europe and North America for Metallica ’s M72 World Tour, FFDP are ready to flex a full setlist once again with a series of headlining dates starting this summer.

The hard rock group from Las Vegas, composed of vocalist Ivan L. Today, multi-platinum hard rock powerhouse Five Finger Death Punch released “AfterLife,” the title track from their highly anticipated forthcoming new studio album. The band’s longtime collaborator Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Papa Roach, Skillet) helmed the producer duties of the ninth and arguably most diverse record of the band.  

“AfterLife” is now available to stream and download across platforms HERE .  

The track’s release coincides with the band’s announcement today of their upcoming 2022 North American headlining tour presented by Live Nation , kicking off in Portland, Oregon on August 19th. The tour will span over 30 dates, closing out on October 15 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The band will be joined on tour by rock icons Megadeth, with additional support from The HU, and Fire From The Gods , promising an intense multi-faceted night of heavy rock music. Tickets go on sale starting Friday, April 15th at 10am local time at FiveFingerDeathPunch.com.

ABOUT THE HU  

In 2019, an NPR story put a spotlight on “a band from Mongolia that blends the screaming guitars of heavy metal and traditional Mongolian guttural singing,” accurately highlighting the cultural importance and unique musical identity of The HU. Five Finger Death Punch Announce 2022 European Tour

Five Finger Death Punch have announced a European tour next spring that will feature headline shows and music festival appearances.

The band will kick off their trek with an appearance at the Nova Rock Festival in Austria on June 12. The Las Vegas-based metal band will perform throughout Europe at festivals and arenas in 19 cities in 16 countries.

Megadeth , which previously had joined FFDP as special guest on the band's headlining tour across Europe in early 2020, will provide support in Berlin, Moenchengladbach and Rotterdam.

VIP packages are available now and general on-sale will be available on Friday, October 29.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH kündigen für den Sommer 2022 eine Tour durch Europa an. Dies werden die ersten Shows in Europa seit Februar 2020 sein. Los geht´s im Juni mit einem Auftritt beim Nova Rock Festival in Österreich. Bei den Shows in Berlin, Mönchengladbach und Rotterdam werden die Thrash-Veteranen MEGADETH als Special Guests mit an Bord sein. Tickets gibt es ab dem 29.10.2021.

All the bands were spot on put on excellent shows with awesome energy. They did everything they could to make it feel like everybody was included in the show they were doing. It was awesome to see how they recognize the vets who are willing to sacrifice everything so that we can have everything. Truly the veterans are The real heroes in America today Not the made up ones you see on TV by marvel comics. Secondly and even closer to my own heart The way Ivan brought up his sobriety and shared it with everybody and then recognized everyone in the crowd that has sobriety and told everyone that we all deserve around of applause for everything we’ve gone through to get to where were at. Was truly a special moment because so many addicts and alcoholics could feel alone in a crowd room full of people even when they’re sober that the fact that they got the spotlight for even one second is something that most of us will never forget as I myself have 20 years of sobriety this is the first time a performer has put it in the spotlight rock on Ivan.

Last summer I finally pulled my shit together and got sober from heroin. My goal? See ffdp up close and personal. Of course, Breaking Benjamin was fuckin' fabulous. I just was craving me some angry Moody :) I forked out the extra cash in hopes that I could exchange a look with the man and offer to buy him coffee, chilli or something like a good Cincinnati girl would do. Oh, but no. Fate had other plans. 4 fuckin' songs into the set I walked away from my front row spot fading in and out of consciousness from a growing excruciating pain in my side. I black out, hit the ground and I was being wheeled away by security during "Remember everything." Stupid ass kidney stones.. Ruined. From what I heard it was sex to my ear drums and the entire band can ear sex me anytime. I WILL meet ya'll someday and shake your hands and kiss your faces. You've got me through some of the darkest times in my life. I hope this story reaches one of you and puts a smile on your face and shows you that there are little small town girls like me that get a little turned on by short bald guys that scream :)

So fuckin' what?

This group sounds fantastic on their recordings but sound just as rockin in concert. Ivan Moody is Mr. Entertainer and continuously wows the crowd with his sarcasm, humor, and invitation to his fans that they are "family".

He recognizes the military and shows support. However, with the crazy and tragic fires going on, one north of Sacramento, and one south of Sacramento, he invited first responders and firefighters to the concert for free. So this metal rock band has some real class and respect.

The lights and glitter and fire, and the large skull has the total package of a kick ass metal band, and it delivers a punch, a FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH!

Ivan is great with the kids on stage, and gives them something to remember.

He sounds great, and your bonuses are Jason, Chris, and Jeremy Oh yeah....they frickin' rock! Talented! Jason and your strumming on your 12 string while he rises above the crown, and wow they all have talent. This band fits together quite well. They don't have the mightier than thou attitude, and show appreciation and love for their audience. They stuck around after the concert throwing out paraphernalia.

If you haven't seen them yet and know their music, GO SEE THEM! It is totally worth it!

M72 World Tour

We told you about our new album 72 Seasons , so what’s next now that we’ve escaped the studio? Hit the road, of course! You want a tour, we’ve got a tour... how about two full years worth of shows?!?!

Over the past few years, we have been so inspired by the dedication and family/community vibe of the fans who traveled to San Francisco for our recent weekend celebrations, first in 2019 with the two S&M2 shows, followed by last year’s 40th Anniversary shows. On top of that, we had a blast being a part of the 2021 Wimmer Festivals when we played two nights in one city, each with a totally different setlist. With all of that in mind, the M72 tour was born!

Starting in April of 2023, we’ll be visiting 22 different cities around the world and playing two nights in each city, with each “No Repeat Weekend” show a completely unique experience: Two totally different set lists with two different bands opening the show each night! Purchase a two-day ticket, and you won’t see the same song twice for a total of over 30 songs spanning our 40+ years of being lucky enough to make music. Most of the shows (sorry, not all - we tried!) will be on Fridays and Sundays, so we’ll be sure to have lots of extracurricular events for you to hang with fellow Metallica fans at before the shows kick-off and on the Saturday night in between.

Presented worldwide by Liquid Death and Blackened American Whiskey (in North America only), and brought to you by our friends at Live Nation, the M72 tour also launches a completely different look for us in stadiums – we’ll be in the round in the middle of the field. On top of that, the Snake Pit has been relocated to the center of the stage so that fans there will have a complete 360 view of the show. Each weekend offers a variety of Enhanced Experiences , ranging from access to a meet and greet, production and stage tour, food and beverage in the “Black Box” lounge to early entry into the venue and the aforementioned Snake Pit. The very popular “Black Laminate” is back, now known as the “I Disappear Ticket,” and is the ultimate pass for the fan who wants to run away with us for multiple weekends. In keeping with the theme of two completely unique shows each weekend, we’re excited to share the stage with different bands each night, including some we have traveled with before and new friends who are joining us for the first time. Signing up for the entire adventure with us are Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, and MammothWVH, and some of you will see Pantera, Architects, Greta Van Fleet, or Volbeat, depending on the shows you attend. Two-day discounted tickets will be on sale Friday, December 2, for all shows. Fan Club presales start early on Wednesday, November 30, with various other presales beginning later that day and throughout the week. A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Founded in 2017, AWMH’s efforts to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band have raised nearly $13 million – providing $5.9 million in grants to career and technical education programs in the US, over $2.5 million to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.2 million to disaster relief efforts worldwide.

FFDP have also announced a new album, AfterLife, and unleashed its title track

Five Finger Death Punch have announced a 2022 US tour with Megadeth , The HU , and Fire From the Gods . In addition, FFDP have unveiled the title track from their upcoming album, AfterLife .

The tour kicks off August 19th in Portland, Oregon, and runs through an October 15th show in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tickets go on sale Friday (April 15th) at 10:00 a.m. local time to the general public via Ticketmaster , with pre-sales beginning today (April 12th).

In addition to the tour announcement, FFDP revealed that they will release their ninth studio album, AfterLife , later this year. The LP is being produced by Kevin Churko, and is being touted as the “arguably most diverse record of the band.” For the first taste of the LP, FFDP have just unleashed the title track (listen below).

Megadeth, meanwhile, recently kicked off the second leg of their co-headlining “Metal Tour of the Year” with Lamb of God. The thrash veterans are tentatively slated to release their 16th album, The Sick, The Dying and The Dead , on July 8th.

Mongolian folk-metal act The HU are coming off their own successful headlining North American tour this past Fall, and are putting the finishing touches on a new album. And Texas band Fire From the Gods recently entered a studio to begin recording their fourth LP.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's ZOLTAN BATHORY Says MARILYN MANSON Is 'Sober And Clean', Promises 'Amazing Tour'

In a new interview with The Jesea Lee Show , FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH guitarist Zoltan Bathory discussed the band's upcoming tour with MARILYN MANSON . The trek, which will launch in early August, will mark the shock rocker's first live appearances since 2019. Zoltan said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET ): " Manson hasn't been out on the road for a while, so a lot of people wanna see him. At one point he was one of the most iconic artists on planet earth. So he's back on stage, back in the saddle. That's gonna be amazing. He's also sober and clean, so we always support that, obviously. Ivan [ Moody , FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH singer] had a dark period, and he was gone, man. My little brother was on the brink of dying, man, and he came back from that. And he's clean and sober for six years. If he can do it, somebody who was that gone can do it, and he's now a different man, then it's a good example for anyone else. If you're struggling, man, don't give up. You can come back from that. And Manson is sober and he's staying clean and doing the work, so also we're supporting that. So it's gonna be an amazing tour."

Manson 's 30-date arena/amphitheater tour with FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH is slated to kick off on August 2 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Over the past three years, Manson has been embroiled in a series of court battles and has been accused by several women — most notably "Westworld" star Evan Rachel Wood — of sexual, emotional and physical abuse.

Manson , who has denied all the allegations, has countersued a number of his alleged victims and judges have dismissed several of the abuse lawsuits against him.

The 55-year-old musician, whose real name is Brian Warner , has been off the road since the final August 18, 2019 date on the "Twins of Evil: Hell Never Dies" joint tour with Rob Zombie .

Manson hasn't released new music since his 2020 "We Are Chaos" album.

In 2022, Marilyn confirmed he was dropped by his record label, Loma Vista Recordings , and talent agency CAA after he was accused of sexual assault.

Manson has consistently denied sexually assaulting or abusing anyone, claiming that his "intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners".

The release did not mention when the DMX vocals were recorded, but Bathory added that the idea of a collab with the “X Gon Give It To Ya” MC had been “in discussion for years, and it was a long and winding road to turn this particular item on our wish list into reality. He was a lyrical warrior, a true original who spoke his mind incorruptibly.” The guitarist said the group had always considered DMX the “metalhead of hip-hop ” because of the rapper’s “aggressive, raw, and untamed” style.

“He growled and snarled, aiming to rattle some cages–an attitude we share, as Five Finger Death Punch has always been drawn to the fearless and the real,” he said. “It made all the sense in the world, but today this is more than just a song; it’s a salute to a legend, a way to honor DMX’s memory.” DMX died in April 2021 at age 50 after experiencing a heart attack triggerd by a drug overdose.
