In the past 8 months, I have been a member at Body20 in Colleyville, Texas. I have had a very positive experience, and have seen remarkable results. I am excited about my workouts each and every time. Like any fitness journey, what you gain is directly related to the effort you invest. However, there is one specific trainer that has made a huge difference in my journey. This expert trainer is Ron. Ron is an exceptionally competent and experienced trainer. His commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of his training sessions. He is always punctual, and tailors each workout to my specific needs. Ron ensures that I get the most out of each session, and even plays my favorite music while I workout. This keeps me motivated during our sessions, and I really appreciate the effort. I can genuinely say that each and every workout with Ron has been time well spent. I am grateful to both Body 20 and Ron for the opportunity to become a better and healthier version of myself. I highly recommend Body 20 in Colleyville, and want to specifically recognize and thank Ron. I look forward to many more workouts!

Never open. No staff. Sign but not sure of any other details about this. Not sure what else to say here.

I worked out here for 8 months, they can't keep staff, the suits malfunction and I did not get the results that where promised. Owner promised to upgrade to Spotify premium to avoid 1-2 commercials every workout in Oct. still not done in Feb. Due to staffing issues the gym limited schedule during the times I could get in to workout so I wasn't able to use my premium membership, when i downgraded they still charged me full price and manager didn't have the authority to help. Asked for a call from the owner and never got one. I gave them multiple opportunities to fix the problem or give me a call back and nothing ever happened. Very disappointed.

Hi Rebecca, I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience with Body20. We did listen to you and many others regarding Spotify, we simply had to wait, since we are a franchise, for corporate to resolve our music provider nationally. This was resolved and implemented in December and we now have custom music soundtrack play with no commercials!! We know we are working with new technology, and unfortunately it does occasionally have glitches as we all know. We try to work through all issues as best we can in a timely manner so you get the full workout experience. If this becomes a big issue during a workout we always add sessions to your membership at no charge. Regarding your membership, you were a founding member who purchased at a highly discounted rate during our presale prior to opening. Our prices increased at studio opening to full rate, then again in January due to inflation. Because of this, as you were informed, for you to downgrade would only reduce your sessions while keeping your pricing the same. Again, this is something controlled by corporate outside individual franchisees ability to change. Unfortunately for both of us staffing has been an issue every where, we do our best to maintain and train staff, but every small business is struggling right now with this issue since the covid pandemic. I truly hope you are able to find a facility that works for you to keep going on your fitness journey!!

From the second day at this gym the conversation was about money. The required rubber suit was not provided by the gym, but was an eighty dollar extra that they hit me with once I agreed to sign up. Then, once I saw the options I chose the six sessions per month for two hundred dollars. My first session was the following Monday, and it was twenty minutes long. On my way out I scheduled the second of my six sessions for the following Thursday. However, when I explained that this would be number two of the six, I was informed that I didn't sign up soon enough to get six, only four. Of course they already had my money and there was nothing I could do about it. When the fourth session ended later in the month I informed them that I was finished with their little scam and to sign me out permanently. As I attempted to leave the young lady behind the counter gave me a form to fill out that said I had to pay an additional two hundred dollars to leave the program. Being a gentleman I simply ignored her and left the establishment since I never signed up for an extended stay. Knowing their greed, I cancelled my credit card the moment I got home. Over the next few weeks I received calls from Body20 about not being able to access me account, which I ignored. Then, two months after I quit, I received a collection letter demanding that I pay them four hundred dollars. My advice to anyone thinking about signing up with this unethical company is don't.

Hey Frank, I’m truly sorry to see this review as I always enjoyed our conversations after your workouts and hearing how the process was helping you gain strength. We try to make our legal agreements as clear as possible and provide an emailed, or printed copy, for each member after purchase. As is common in most fitness facilities, every membership we offer is an auto-renew month to month or 6 month commitment and requires a 30 day cancellation notice as explained in your agreement and at time of purchase. However, if a payment is missed or membership not properly cancelled, we provide proper notification as best we can then it does go in to an automated collection system like most fitness companies. The base layer is a Lycra body suit that is required for EMS to properly work and is at a cost of $65. We ask each member to purchase their own because this is a body suit you are sweating in, well, need I say more!! I hope you have found a fitness program that works for you to continue your fitness journey and wish you the very best!!
