JOURNEY and TOTO previously joined forces for an early 2022 U.S. arena tour.

JOURNEY is continuing to promote its latest album, "Freedom" , which was released in July via BMG . The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Current Rock chart.

The members of JOURNEY celebrated the album's release by kicking off a residency featuring special symphony orchestra performances at the new, state-of-the-art Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas.

As JOURNEY 's legend continues to grow larger and their touring gets bigger, "Freedom" is the band’s first album of new material to be released in eleven years, since 2011's "Eclipse" , and in addition to Schon , along with longtime keyboard player and primary lyricist Cain and Pineda , one more member was recruited for the LP — bassist extraordinaire Randy Jackson , who had played on JOURNEY 's 1986 album "Raised On Radio" .

Inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017, JOURNEY has 25 gold and platinum albums, with total sales adding up to over 100 million albums worldwide, earning the band two Diamond Awards with a third on the way for the "Frontiers" album. JOURNEY has also surpassed one billion streams on Spotify .

Journey is returning to Upstate New York for another concert with Toto.

Journey announced its 2024 “Freedom” tour dates Monday, including a Feb. 22 performance at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester. Toto will open the show at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster .

Journey, which features Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Arnel Pineda, Jason Derlatka, Deen Castronovo and Todd Jensen, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a Buffalo concert in March. The rock band first formed in 1973 with former Santana guitarist-vocalist Neal Schon, the only constant original member of Journey, and rose to fame with lead singer Steve Perry on hits like “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways,” “Faithfully” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group got its name from John Villanueva , a Camillus resident who was a drum technician for Santana at Woodstock . Villaneuva, who died in 2021, was a longtime roadie who suggested the name “Space Journey” for the band that eventually became Journey.

Toto, which is nearing its own 50th anniversary, has released 14 albums featuring hits like “Africa,” “Hold the Line” and “Rosanna.”

All of Us Journey Tour Stop

The All of Us Research Program Brings the Future of Health to Buffalo, New York.

This week, the University at Buffalo’s Abbott Library in Abbott Hall on the South Campus will host the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Journey, a traveling, hands-on exhibit that raises awareness about the All of Us Research Program. The experience will allow interested visitors to join the program right on board, where they can answer surveys and give their physical measurements and blood and urine samples. The All of Us Journey will be in Buffalo, New York on April 30-May 3, 2024, as part of its national tour.

• An augmented reality experiences.
• Fun games to learn more about what the All of Us Research Program is and the value of participation.
• An interactive station where participants can access a video testimonial library to learn why others have decided to participate in the program.

The All of Us Research Program aims to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs. To do so, All of Us is asking 1 million volunteers to share different types of health and lifestyle information—information like where they live, what they do, and their family health history.

The program is open to people both healthy and sick, from all communities. Unlike a single research study focused on a specific disease or community, the All of Us Research Program will create a research resource to inform thousands of studies, covering a wide range of health conditions. This information could help researchers learn more about different diseases and treatments and improve health for generations to come.

The future of health begins with us. If we want better health care for all of us, medical research needs to include all of us. The All of Us Journey is excited to work with University at Buffalo: Abbott Library in Abbott Hall to bring communities together to help change health for generations to come.

The All of Us Journey engages community members nationwide and raises awareness about the All of Us Research Program through various educational activities and experiences.
