Kelly Tours Beaufort

Our Ideal Guest is someone who Loves History, or at least Learning new things about U.S. History. We have a lot of Movie-Buffs coming through town as well due to all the movies that have been filmed here. We tell a variety of stories intended to give some insight into the goings-on during those movies being filmed here. We also have a wide variety of offerings including a Land & Sea combo, partnering with Coastal Expeditions with a Dolphin Cruise in addition to the City Tour. And starting very soon... We have a Tipsy Tour beginning on 7/15/23 which includes a tasting over at RLB (Rotten Little Bastard) Distillery and then shuttles guests over to a local brewery, Shellring Ale for a beer. This new tour gives guests a chance to sample some amazing local flavors, of the boozy variety, and not have to drive. What a fun (and safe) idea!!

We have 3 Historic City Tours 6 days a week, excluding Sundays. Our tours begin at 10:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 3:00 pm. We offer a Gullah Heritage Tour on Wednesdays & Saturdays at 10:00 am only. In 3 out of the 4 seasons (excluding the Summer), we have 2 different Walking Tours. One is a Historic Tour, similar to the bus tour, By Appointment Only. And the other is a Reconstruction-themed tour On Thursdays only. There is a Land & Sea Combo Tour which offers our Historic City Tour paired with a Dolphin Cruise from a partner company called Coastal Expeditions. The neat part about these is that you can pick and choose different days, if you want, to do the tours. Just combining them saves the guest $6 a person. The boat portion is always at 11:00 am, but only offered on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, & Mondays. And very soon, we will be starting Tipsy Tours, on July 15th! This tour will shuttle guests from the Marina to RLB (Rotten Little Bastard) Distillery to taste their unique versions of: Moonshine, Vodka, Rums, Bourbans, Whiskey, & Gin. After that, move on over to the Shellring Ale Brewery for a beer before heading back to the Marina.

We Pride ourselves on giving an in-depth history lesson about the unique happenings here during the Civil War and Reconstruction Eras. I personally call Beaufort, "The Secret of the South." Come take a tour and find out why!

This tour was a great way to see the city, discover places to visit or tour in more depth, and learn an historical overview of the area. I did this my 1st full day in the area, and took notes of places I wanted to see or visit during my stay. Since I am handicapped and walk with a cane, by riding a bus, we were able to cover a lot of ground. I was then able later to drive to areas of interest to visit in more detail.
