Between the positives such as Bradley Wiggins’ heroics in 2012 and negatives like the Lance Armstrong scandal, the spotlight has been thrust upon the epic road race more than in recent memory. Le Tour de France 2013 - 100ème Edition : Le Tour de France, c'est maintenant

En dépit des sempiternelles révélations de dopage pré-Tour, qui cassent un à un les mythes de la montagne, la Grande Boucle demeure une épreuve incroyablement populaire dans le monde entier. C'est donc en toute logique que Cyanide remet le couvert à l'occasion de la 100ème Édition du Tour de France, après deux tentatives de piètre qualité. Cette fois, promis, les consoleux vont être gâtés.

Transformer un jeu de gestion PC fort de solides bases en une simulation console n'est point chose aisée. Demandez à Cyanide qui, depuis 2011, tente de filer le virus du Tour de France aux joueurs PS3 et 360. Jusqu'à présent, le vrai-faux portage fut trop douloureux pour donner les résultats escomptés. Orphelins du combo clavier / souris, nous nous voyions proposer un titre au rabais, à mi-chemin entre le jeu de gestion incomplet et la simulation hyper bridée. Mais ça, c'était avant.

Le Tour de France 2013 : 100ème Édition a trouvé son public : des joueurs consoles qui s'intéressent au cyclisme une fois par an, lorsque la Grande Boucle passe devant leur porte, mais qui ne sont pas forcément passionnés par le vélo 365 jours par an. Le jeu de Cyanide remplit donc son office en nous proposant plus de contrôle sur notre poulain et des possibilités tactiques étendues, ainsi qu'un multi local efficace, au détriment du jeu en ligne, malheureusement sucré. En dépit d'une réalisation indigne de la machine, ce titre nous a séduit car plus ludique que prévu. Toutefois, en qualité de jeu événementiel et donc éphémère, son tarif a de quoi faire tiquer.
