The Forest department organized a Jeep Safari in the forest (to Farahabad Viewpoint) from the entry point on Hyderabad to Srisailam highway. The entry point is situated between Mannanur and Vatvarlapally, 57 km before Srisailam. The duration of the trip is about 1 hr 30 minutes and costs Rs. 800 per trip (can accommodate 6 people). Panakala Narasimha Swamy Temple - The idol is said to be Swambhu. The idol is covered by metal face and only the mouth is visible & it's widely opened. 88. Machilipatnam

At a distance of 70 Kms from Vijayawada & 340 Kms from Hyderabad, Machilipatnam is a port town and the headquarters of the Krishna District.
