Spot kuliner pertama yang wajib dikunjungi yakni Martabak Encek. Bagian menarik dari kedai ini ialah martabaknya yang masih dimasak menggunakan arang. 

Harap bersabar saat membeli martabak di sini, karena biasanya cukup panjang antriannya. Martabak Encek menjadi favorit karena empuk dan tahan lama, bisa disimpan hingga esok hari. 

Harga satu loyang martabak sekitar Rp 40.000 hingga Rp 60.000, tergantung dari isiannya. Lokasinya tepatnya berada di Jalan Suryakencana Nomor 289. 

2. Lumpia basah Gang Aut

Lumpia basah Gang Aut berada tepat di Jalan Suryakencana Nomor 307. Ini merupakan salah satu pelopor lumpia basah yang sudah berjualan sejak tahun 1972.

Lumpia basah khas Bogor ini berbeda dengan lumpia semarang yang berisi rebung. Lumpia bogor menggunakan cacahan bengkuang, tauge, tahu, ebi giling, dan telur sebagai isiannya.

Dalam penyajiannya, lumpia bogor tidak digulung dan digoreng, hanya disajikan di atas adonan kulitnya saja.

Lumpia basah ini dijual dengan harga Rp 15.000, tetapi ukurannya cukup besar dan mengenyangkan. 

3. Es pala Pak Ujang 

Masih di kawasan Gang Aut, ada warung tenda sederhana yang menjual es pala, namanya Es Pala Pak Ujang.

Minuman tradisional berbahan buah pala dan campuran air gula ini sudah ada sejak tahun 1950-an.  Satu gelas es harga dijual dengan harga Rp 6.000 saja, cukup terjangkau bukan?

4. Bir Kotjok Abah

Selain es pala, ada juga minuman menyegarkan lain yang layak dicoba, yaitu bir kocok. Kamu dapat mengunjungi gerai Bir Kotjok Abah jika ingin mencobanya.  

Walau bernama bir, tetapi minuman tradisional yang sudah ada sejak 1965 ini tidak memabukkan karena terbuat dari rempah-rempah seperti jahe dan kayu manis. 

Tak perlu khawatir soal harga, satu kantung atau gelas bir kocok sekitar Rp 5.000. Lokasi tepat Bir Kotjok Abah ini berada di Jalan Suryakencana Nomor 291-299. 

5. Combro Atmajaya 

Kurang lengkap rasanya jika berkunjung ke Bogor tanpa mencoba combro. Combro adalah camilan khas Bogor yang berupa singkong yang diparut lalu diberi isian oncom yang sudah dimasak dengan bumbu pedas.

Combro lalu digoreng supaya renyah teksturnya. Kamu dapat mengunjungi Combro Atmajaya saat berada di Jalan Suryakencana.

Alun-Alun Surya Kencana adalah savana di kawasan puncak Gunung Gede . Tanah lapang ini memiliki ciri khas dan daya tarik berupa hamparan bunga edelweiss. Menempati area setidaknya seluas 50 hektar di ketinggian setidaknya 2750 Mdpl. Merupakan pos pendakian dan camping ground favorit para pendaki. Keindahan dan keasrian alam sekitarnya yang terjaga dapat menghipnotis siapapun yang berada di sini.

Sebelum memulai pendakian, wisatawan harus menyiapkan SIMAKSI. Tarif tiket SIMAKSI sudah termasuk asuransi keselamatan pendaki. Tarif ini hanya berlaku untuk pendakian selama 2 hari 1 malam.

Alun-Alun Surya Kencana biasanya tutup pada saat puncak musim kemarau. Ini untuk menjaga kondisi dan kelestarian alamnya selama musim kering. Sedangkan untuk pendakian di Gunung Gede-Pangrango sendiri hanya bisa pada jam operasional khusus. Pendaki yang nekat memulai pendakian di malam hari akan terkena denda.

Gunung Gede-Pangrango merupakan salah satu gunung berapi aktif di Jawa Barat. Dengan ketinggian setidaknya 2.958 mdpl menjadikannya destinasi pendakian yang potensial. Memiliki rute pendakian yang menantang dan menyajikan berbagai bentang alam menakjubkan. Satu diantaranya adalah Alun-Alun Surya Kencana.

Areanya merupakan padang sabana di ketinggian 2.750 mdpl. Dengan tanah lapang yang masuk dalam kawasan puncak Gunung Gede. Para pendaki mengenalnya sebagai pos untuk berkemah yang populer.

Alasannya tak lain karena keindahan alam yang tersaji di sini. Keragaman flora serta lanskap yang memukau adalah pesona utama Alun-Alun Surya Kencana. Alun-alun ini adalah daya tarik yang membuat pendakian di Gunung Gede lebih berkesan.

Gerbang Menuju Puncak

Untuk menjangkau alun-alun alam ini, hanya ada satu cara yaitu melalui pendakian. Setidaknya ada tiga jalur yang bisa digunakan, tapi yang rekomendasinya adalah Gunung Putri. Jalur pendakian dari Cibodas tidak melalui lokasi alun-alun ini. Sementara Jalur Selabintana memiliki level yang terlalu sulit bagi pendaki pemula.

Melalui Jalur Gunung Putri, perjalanan ke alun-alun butuh waktu sekitar 7 hingga 8 jam. Ini prakiraan waktu jika trekking tidak banyak berhenti. Dengan kecepatan jalan santai, mungkin butuh waktu yang lebih lama.

Alun-Alun Suryakencana atau Surken adalah pos sebelum mencapai puncak di jalur Gunung Putri. Di sinilah para pendaki biasanya beristirahat atau berkemah sebelum melakukan summit attack . Dari kawasan ini, sudah bisa terlihat puncak dari Gunung Gede dengan jelas. Sedangkan untuk pendakian ke puncak dari pos ini hanya memakan waktu kurang-lebih 30 menit.

Ikon Gunung Gede-Pangrango

Keberadaan Alun-Alun Surken merupakan sesuatu yang menjadi ciri khas Gunung Gede-Pangrango. Panorama Bentang alamnya sudah sangat melekat dalam kegiatan pendakian di sini. Tidak hanya bagi pendaki, tetapi juga bagi penganut kepercayaan tertentu untuk berziarah. Biasanya kalangan santri melakukan ziarah untuk mendekatkan diri pada Yang Maha Kuasa.

Di sisi lain, alun-alun ini adalah area berkemah yang ideal bagi para pendaki. Selain luas dan landai, area ini memiliki sumber air alami. Bahkan di bagian tengah alun-alun, terdapat telaga kecil yang bermanfaat untuk keperluan sanitasi atau memasak.

Alasan lain yang membuat tempat ini begitu disukai yaitu pesona alam sekitarnya. Semak edelweissnya merupakan dekorasi alam yang tak pernah gagal menawan mata. Sebenarnya tanpa summit attack pun pendaki bisa menikmati sunrise yang menakjubkan dari sini. Pada saat malam hari menjadi lebih istimewa karena hamparan Bimasakti akan tampak jelas menghiasi langit.

Savana di Ketinggian

Jika terlihat dari udara, savana Surken memiliki bentuk seperti bulan sabit. Letaknya berada persis di bawah kawah Gunung Gede. Tepatnya di sisi tenggara dan mengikuti bentuk puncak gunung tersebut. Luas total lahannya setidaknya 50 hektar.

Alun-Alun Surya Kencana berada di ketinggian 2.750 mdpl. Di ketinggian itu, tumbuh subur tanaman edelweiss yang menjadi daya tarik utama. Jika datang pada saat musim yang tepat, pendaki akan disambut oleh hamparan rumput hijau berseling semak edelweiss. Pemandangan cantik inilah yang membuat siapa saja betah untuk berlama-lama di sini.

Suhu udara di kawasan ini bisa mencapai 5 hingga 0 derajat pada pagi hari. Saking dinginnya, rerumputan akan tertutup embun yang mengkristal menjadi es. Pemandangan menakjubkan ini hanya bisa terlihat sekitar dini hari di musim tertentu. Jika ingin melihatnya langsung, kenakan pakaian hangat dan pastikan badan dalam kondisi sehat ya.

Edelweiss sebagai bunga endemik Indonesia adalah jenis flora yang dilindungi. Bunga ini tidak boleh sembarangan dipetik. Selain itu, pendaki terdapat larangan membawa perlengkapan dengan zat kimia seperti sabun. Hal ini karena residu dari zat-zat ini bisa merusak kelestarian flora di Alun-Alun Surya Kencana.

Kisah Mistis & Legenda Alun-alun Suryakencana

Alun-Alun Surken ternyata tidak lepas dari kisah mistis dan legenda. Bagi masyarakat asli Cianjur, tempat ini memiliki peran yang penting. Bahkan terkait dengan salah satu kesenian tradisionalnya yaitu Kuda Kosong.

Masyarakat setempat percaya bahwa alun-alun tersebut merupakan tempat bersemayamnya Pangeran Suryakencana. Sang Pangeran merupakan anak dari hasil perkawinan antara pendiri Cianjur dengan putri dari kaum Jin Islam. Raden Suryakencana sendiri merupakan ayah dari Prabu Sakti dan Prabu Siliwangi.

Konon di alun-alun inilah Raden Suryakencana mendirikan istana. Itulah kenapa tempat ini dianggap sakral. Pendaki harus menjaga perkataan maupun perbuatan saat berada di sini. Termasuk salah satunya adalah tidak merusak alam sekitar.

Kesenian tradisional Kuda Kosong adalah salah satu kekayaan budaya masyarakat Cianjur. Pada kesenian ini, seekor kuda akan diarak tanpa ada penunggang. Banyak yang mempercayai bahwa yang menunggangi kuda tersebut adalah Raden Suryakencana. Terlepas dari nilai kebenarannya, dapat dipahami bahwa alun-alun ini punya arti penting bagi Cianjur.

Alun-Alun Surya Kencana berada di dalam kawasan Taman Nasional Gunung Gede-Pangrango. Gunung ini terletak di dua wilayah yaitu Sukabumi dan Cianjur . Kantor pusat sekaligus basecamp pendakian berada di Jalan Kebun Raya Cibodas, Kelurahan Cimacan, Kecamatan Cipanas, Kabupaten Cianjur.

Liked staying at this hotel”

Nice place with front and back balcony, especially for the junior suite room. The swimming pool is always clean and available from 6 am to 10 pm. The staff are friendly and helpful, from the parking and security personnel, front office, room service, food servers, office boy, cleaning service, all are good and friendly. The bed and room are spacious, suitable for those who want to bring their family, very comfortable. In my opinion, the price is cheaper compared to other places with the same facilities. However, there is no lift available yet, so it might be tiring to go up and down for the standard and deluxe rooms on the 3rd floor. It would be great if there is at least one lift in the future. 😍

The place is good, the service is good, the cleanliness is good, the breakfast is also good. My children and I like the fried bananas and fried tales, they are delicious 😊😊 The bathroom is good, the room is spacious, and the swimming pool is great, my children are very happy to go to the beach, just cross the street. There are many entertainment around the hotel. The only downside is that there is no elevator, but it's okay because we got some exercise on the 3rd floor. 😁😁 Overall, the hotel is awesome.
