“Try to visit The Little Mermaid statue as early as possible to avoid crowds getting in your photo!”
Lasse, Travel Director
Take a walking tour of the iconic sights of Copenhagen
Walking through Copenhagen offers an intimate encounter with this boutique city. Wander the Langelinie promenade to see The Little Mermaid statue and stand in awe at the classical façade of Amalienborg—home of the Danish royal family. Our sightseeing tour in Copenhagen will show you the intricacies beyond the guidebook.
Cruise along the canals of Copenhagen
Nyhavn, the country’s most popular canal, showcases impressive 17th-century townhouses lining the waterfront. Feel the pulse of the harbor front as you cruise along the charming canal. Hear jazz spill out onto the water and watch the locals enjoy a summer drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.
Travel to Odense where Hans Christian Andersen was born
Popular for its rich history and culture—and because it was the birthplace of some of Denmark’s most popular artists—Odense sits high atop the list of things to do in Denmark. Visit the home-turned-museum of famous fairy-tale author, Hans Christian Andersen and wander the studio walls of Jens Galschiot, arguably Denmark’s most famous artist.
Pay tribute to the tragic Little Mermaid
Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy-tale about a mermaid who gives up her life to be with a handsome, land-residing prince, The Little Mermaid was gifted to Copenhagen in1913. Markyour Denmark trip with a visit to the bronze and granite sculpture that stands in its honor, perched on a rock overlooking the harbor.
Stroll through the medieval streets of Randers
Wander the quaint and unassuming streets of Randers and be transported back to its long history as a market town. Randers City is defined by its old-world charm of skewed, medieval buildings that line the shopping streets. Stroll along Houmeden, one of Denmark’s oldest pedestrian streets, for a glimpse of days gone by.
Our top 5 things to do in Denmark
A trip to Denmark with Trafalgar boasts a fusion of history and unique scenery. We'll guide you towards the best Denmark attractions and down charming streets you could stroll forever.
National Museum of Denmark
The country’s largest museum is an accolade to the Denmark of the past. Artefacts found at the National Museum of Denmark will take you on a journey as far back as 3,000 years. Feel the weight of history as you amble around exhibitions from the Stone Age, Viking times and beyond.
Moesgaard Museum
Experience the life of the dead at a museum solely dedicated to archaeology and ethnography. Exhibitions bring to fruition a past life that is contrasted by the modern Nordic design of the building it sits within. Admire angular lines and cement exterior combined with the grassy, pitch-like roof; a symbol of the contemporary architecture the country is so famous for.
Danish Museum of Art & Design
Perhaps the best showcase of Nordic design, the Danish Museum of Art & Design offers up works of some of the country’s most famous artists and designers. Attend a constant flow of fascinating exhibitions such as the Porcelain Study Collection, Danish Design Now and The 20th Century. Visit this institution, and you will find an artistic haven in Copenhagen’s historic center.
Best museums in Denmark
With a thriving art scene, some of the world’s most recognized designs and a history that is ingrained in culture, museums are an essential part of our trips to Denmark. Here are just a few we can’t wait to show you.
Literally meaning “butter and bread”, smørrebrød is a Danish take on an open-face sandwich. Expect a piece of dense rye bread topped with butter, cold cuts of meat or fish, cheese, spreads and garnishes like pickled herrings. Smørrebrød will quickly become your daily ritual.
Found in almost every deli and supermarket in Denmark is this boiled, bright red pork sausage. Considered one of Denmark’s national dishes, the rød pølse—which might simply be referred to as a hot dog—is not considered junk food and is deeply ingrained in the country’s gastronomy.
Frikadeller
Danish meatball recipes get passed down through generations like precious pearls of wisdom. This savory ball of ground pork, onions, nutmeg, garlic, a dash of milk and sage is usually served in a rich and creamy gravy. Pair it with potatoes, red cabbage or beets, and you will have yourself a deliciously Danish dish.
Best food in Denmark
Trafalgar takes you right into the heart of Denmark’s culinary culture. Be prepared to try some unusual takes on classic dishes - even the humble sandwich gets redefined by this Scandinavian country.
What to pack for Denmark
Though it can be warm in summer, Denmark tends to be cool for the majority of the year. Be prepared with a fleece jacket or warm coat, essential for sightseeing and strolling the windy streets or waterfront towns.
Waterproof shoes
Denmark’s climate can be unpredictable. Whether you’re traveling in winter, summer or anytime in between; periodic wind and rain makes a pair of waterproof shoes very handy.
Whether it is a sunny summer’s morning or a snowy afternoon in the dead of winter, eye protection is crucial when traveling. A trendy pair of sunglasses will have you feeling right at home in Denmark.
Pants or leggings
If you’re tapping into the local culture whilst in Denmark, you’ll more than likely find yourself on a bicycle. Pants or leggings will prove more comfortable and manageable than a long skirt or something short.
A small digital camera
Blend in with the stylish ways of the Danish locals by leaving your oversized DLSR camera at home. A more compact camera will also save space in your handbag, which you can fill with a few more souvenirs.
Pack for sustainable travel
Consider your environmental impact when you next take a trip and go single-use-plastic-free by packing a reusable water bottle, a steel straw, your own shopping bags and toiletry bottles.

World’s Happiest People
Denmark is a fairy tale land where its people are among the happiest on earth. Although small in size, Denmark offers big reasons to visit. It’s situated between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea and has over 4,500 miles of dramatic coastline. Its capital city of Copenhagen is considered the “culinary front runner and ‘hot-spot’ food destination of Europe,” and holds culinary delights to match the magnificent coastal scenery.
Destination Must-See's
Architecture:
Denmark is an architectural treat unto itself with influences originating with the Vikings, but changing over the years with Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles influencing it as well. It wasn’t until the 1960s when Danish architects entered the world scene with Functionalism, which is what most of us envision when we think of Danish architecture today. The Danish are indeed world leaders in architecture and visitors have many treats in store for them.
Copenhagen:
Copenhagen was founded as a Viking fishing village in the 10th century. Since the 20th century, it has been a thriving city and has become a large metropolitan area. It offers everything you could wish for. Enjoy world-class museums and cuisine. Marvel at magnificent contemporary architecture and be romanced by fairy tale streets with brightly colored houses.
Fredericksborg Castle:
Built in the Dutch Renaissance style by King Christian IV in the 17th century, Frederiksborg Palace is situated north of Copenhagen. There you’ll find the Museum of National History which exhibits the history of Denmark through a large collection of portraits, historical paintings and modern art. It’s surrounded by an enchanting baroque style garden.
The Little Mermaid:
This bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen sits on a rock by the water at Langelinie promenade in Copenhagen. It depicts The Little Mermaid from the famous story by Hans Christian Andersen, but it’s more than just that. It’s a legendary symbol and landmark of Copenhagen that attracts over one million visitors each year.
Destination Must-Do's
Smørrebrød:
In Denmark, bread is a very important part of the table. Usually, it’s a very dark heavy whole grain rye. This marvelous bread forms the basis for Smørrebrød which is a type of open sandwich. It can have just about anything on it at all, but traditional toppings are pickled herring, different varieties of cheeses, sliced cucumber, tomato and boiled eggs, just to name a few. Try as many combinations of toppings as you can and you may just find a new favorite food to make at home.
Go shopping:
Copenhagen is a shopper’s paradise! Shops are grouped together by trade so if you’re looking for something in particular, you’ll have an easier time finding it. While on your quest for that perfect souvenir, you can’t avoid absorbing more of this wonderful city’s atmosphere.
Underwater bridge:
The Øresund Bridge links Denmark and Sweden. Opened in the year 2000, the bridge lets thousands of cars and trains cross between the two countries each year. Just as you’d expect from Scandinavian architecture, this bridge is a marvelous piece of engineering that also serves as a tunnel and an artificial island. You can see it disappear under the water to let ships pass from your airplane window before landing in Copenhagen, but you can also see it from the city’s beaches.
Attention adventure seekers! You haven’t seen Copenhagen until you’ve seen it from a kayak out on the clean, calm waters of the harbor. See if you can find one of Copenhagen’s least known works of art—a series of ghostly underwater statues called Agnete and the Merman.
Expert Advice
Enjoy a casual dress style and be sure to pack comfortable walking shoes. The weather in Denmark can vary during the course of your trip and even during each day. It is recommended to dress in layers to adapt to changes in temperature.
Partially due to geography, fish and seafood is one of the main staples of the local diet in Denmark. You will also find a wide variety of meats like pork and poultry as well as vegetables such as beets, potatoes, cucumbers, apples and more. Cured salmon is a favorite in Denmark.
Denmark has a thriving design industry and shopping for unique things to bring home in Denmark is a lot of fun. Make sure there’s plenty of room in your suitcase.

Denmark’s capital city has an abundance of fantastic craft cocktail bars, breweries, wine pubs and nightclubs, with many open 24 hours.
Many of Copenhagen’s cafes and restaurants have special children's menus, and provide a special high chair for toddlers.
Hotdogs, and the people who sell them, are adored in Denmark, and for good reason. Hotdogs are made from quality meat (from Hallegaard on Bornholm), with homemade toppings and hot, hot sauce. Denmark Tours & Vacations
Leave it to the Danes to invent hygge. It’s basically the national emoticon: a feeling of community, closeness, camaraderie and contentment all wrapped up in one ergonomically designed package.
Of course it’s easy to be content when your country consistently tops liveability rankings, produces addictive crime dramas, and is full of green fields, forget-me-nots, and windmills. Yep, Denmark just seems to work. Design is minimal, politics is open, pedestrians and cyclists rule the streets and locals walk around looking tall and unfairly attractive. Come for the old-world charm, stay for the new-world outlook.

Best time to visit to denmark.
With its northerly latitudes, early summer is the best time to see Denmark. June in particular is gorgeous, with warm weather, long summer days, and fewer crowds than the peak summer season of July/August. Traveling in May or September can be lovely, although the weather may be a little more unpredictable. Midwinter, and February in particular, is the only time of year to avoid Denmark: many outdoor activities will be closed and the sky is a uniform grey, as the islands are battered by storms blown in from the North Sea.
Geography and environment
Imagine a huge peninsula surrounded by about 443 islands. Massive bridges span the sea in between, connecting everything up, and what little land there is, sits precarious 30-odd meters above sea level. Denmark isn’t known for its soaring mountains and dramatic scenery. Most of the country is flat and formless, but beautiful nonetheless: rolling plains and flower fields, windmills turning on the horizon, white cliffs, and the soft sand dunes of the north. It’s hard to measure the landmass accurately since the sea constantly rises and falls, eroding and adding material to the coast. It’s a land of small wonders rather than big statements.
Top 5 reasons to move to Denmark
1. progressive politics.
Denmark’s politics are based on compromise. Because no government has held an absolute majority since the beginning of the 20th century, everyone tends to get a say. Old, young, gay, straight, rich, poor – everyone’s welcome in Denmark. The result? People here actually like their government, and it’s rated as one of the most accountable and transparent systems in the world.
2. Cities that work
Denmark believes in ‘people-friendly cities’. You know, the ones where a city’s design actually makes life better for the people living in it. Bicycles and pedestrians rule the streets, public transport is ubiquitous, cheap, and efficient, money is invested back into parks and infrastructure, and everyone gets a say. It’s a nice change to visit a country where they probably haven’t heard the phrase ‘traffic jam’.
3. Sustainability
It’d be hard to find a greener bunch than the Danes. Copenhagen in particular has been singled out for its commitment to sustainable development. It’s aiming to get 50 percent of its citizens to cycle to work or school, not to mention going fully carbon neutral by 2025. It’s even got a special ‘Green Laboratory’ devoted to thinking up new eco-technologies for the country.
4. Great design
There’s a certain Danish attitude towards food, fashion, architecture, and fine art: less is more. You’ll find a simple and functional aesthetic in almost everything in Denmark, from chairs to buildings to dinner. The Danes even designed the sweeping wings of the iconic Sydney Opera House. It all comes back to the notion of hygge: the idea that beautiful things can enrich people’s lives.
5. Quality of life
It’s the thing every country is searching for. Everyone except Denmark. This little country of 5.7 million people consistently tops global rankings for quality of life, and it’s mostly down to the ‘Solidarity System’. This is the country’s idea that no one should be left behind. So although citizens pay a lot of tax (especially the rich ones), the country is rewarded with low unemployment, universal health care, great childcare, public transport, and free education. Worth it.

Specific proof of testing or vaccination may still be required by your destination or airline. Please ensure you check travel and entry requirements carefully.
Is tipping customary in Denmark?
Tipping in Denmark is not required (although it may be appreciated). Most restaurants include a service charge in the price of your meal, and many service industries are paid very well, so they don’t rely on tips.
What is internet access like in Denmark?
Internet and Wi-Fi are easily available in Denmark, particularly in the major cities. Many cafes and bars will have Wi-Fi access, and internet cafes are common (if a little hard to find in some cases – just ask your concierge). The easiest way to get online is the public library, there’s one in every town.
Can I use my cell phone in Denmark?
Denmark has great cell coverage, so reception shouldn’t be a problem. To avoid roaming charges and international rates, consider picking up a pre-paid SIM card – you can find them at most convenience stores.
What are the toilets like in Denmark?
Toilet facilities are what you’d expect in any developed Western country – flush toilets are standard.
What will it cost for a…?
- Beer: 6 USD
- Coffee: 5 USD

Can I drink the water in Denmark?

Are credit cards widely accepted in Denmark?
Major outlets and stores will accept international cards like Visa, Mastercard and AMEX, but some will only accept the local Dankort card. Nearly everywhere will require a PIN code, so make sure to check yours with your bank if you’re unsure. It’s also worth remembering that a lot of retailers will charge an extra 3-4% if you use a foreign credit card, often without warning.
What is ATM access like in Denmark?
ATMs are widely available in cities and towns (even the smaller ones), but may be closed at night for safety reasons. The term ‘ATM’ is not well known in Denmark, so if you’re looking for one ask for a ‘hæve-automat’.

More information about Denmark
Scandinavia’s most southernmost nation, Denmark is famed for its high standard of living and long-reigning Royal Family, whose lineage can be traced back to Viking times. Denmark is situated in the North Atlantic, southwest of Sweden and Norway and bordered by Germany to the south. As well as the Jutland mainland peninsula, the country also comprises 443 named islands including the two major islands of Funen and Zealand , the former of which was the birthplace of the prestigious Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. The Kingdom of Denmark also includes Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The capital city, Copenhagen , is spread across the islands of Zealand and Amager and is conveniently connected to the Swedish city of Malmo by the incredible Oresund Bridge . Denmark’s second largest city is Aarhus , located on the mainland or Jutland. A huge number of remote and secluded islands appeal to travelers on holiday in Denmark for their wide-open spaces and fantastic wildlife, such as the island of Anholt, whilst the island of Samso is known for running entirely on renewable energy . Travel to Denmark appeals to those looking to experience for themselves what life is like in one of the world’s most highly ranked countries, famed for its social development, education system and emphasis on equality. It is also the gateway to Scandinavia, with fantastic transport links from mainland Europe and easy connections with other Nordic nations.
History of Denmark
Although Norway is renowned for it’s Viking heritage, the Danish Vikings , who were most active between the 8th and 10th centuries, made their mark on early Europe by raiding and conquering parts of Western Europe and the Southern British Isles. The Kingdom of Denmark , as a unified nation, emerged around the 10th century , with the current Danish Royal Family able to trace their lineage back to Gorm the Old, who ruled in the early part of this century. His son later Christianised the kingdom in 965. Unified with Norway and Sweden in the powerful Kalmar Union by the 14th century , all three nations were ruled together under one sovereign leader. Sweden left the union in 1523, marking the beginning of centuries of struggles and conflicts between Sweden and Denmark and general unrest on the Danish Jutland due to the effects of the sweeping divisions of Lutherism, which has transformed Europe by this point. The 17th century saw Denmark lose a number of its prized territories to Sweden , a result of continuing conflict, whilst up into the 18th century, the everyday people were subject to a relatively demanding form of feudalism, until Crown Prince Frederick introduced reforms to free the peasants from enforced labor on the lands of the wealthy landowners. This marked a turning point in the freedoms of the common man in Denmark and the 20th century continued in the same theme, as the power of absolute monarchy decreased to be replaced by democracy. Although Denmark remained neutral in both World War’s , Germany occupied the country in WWII, marking a dark time in the country’s history, although the Danish Resistance Movement fought fiercely to retain their freedoms. A number of landmarks, such as the Ryvangen Memorial Park in Copenhagen pay homage to this period in Danish history and are unmissable stops on a tour of Denmark to fully understand the cost of WWII on the country. Denmark was a founding member of the United Nations and is also part of the European Union, although it retains its own currency.
Nature in Denmark
A land of rolling plains, sandy coastline, and arable land, Denmark is a mostly flat country with very little elevation, making it the perfect place to explore on the two wheels of a bicycle. Due to its southernly situation, the country enjoys a more temperate climate in comparison to other Nordic nations so a holiday to Denmark can be enjoyed at any time of year. Sadly, much of Denmark’s ancient forests have been destroyed in the last millennium to make way for expanding agriculture, although among the remaining forests the most widespread tree is the famous Norway Spruce, the traditional, and still the most popular, Christmas Tree. Nevertheless, there are plenty of natural attractions to explore on a tour of Denmark , owing to the diverse environments across the numerous islands that make up the nation. At the northernmost point of the country, in Skagen, visitors are treated to an amazing natural phenomenon, as from the thin tip of the European mainland you can watch the Skagerrak and Kattegat seas meet. You can also expect to see a number of seals along the coastline here, many of which are famous friendly due to the number of tourists that visit the shores of Skagen. Another of Denmark’s most interesting natural attractions is Fur Island , in the Limfjord. This remote island, home to approximately 900 inhabitants, is known for its fascinating geological rock formations. Layers of volcanic ash and clay have sculpted strange patterns of the coastal cliffs that attract visitors on tour in Denmark , who want to discover some of the country’s more unique regions. Lovers of the great outdoors are sure to enjoy the Lake Highlands of interior Jutland , home to forests, glistening bodies of water and lush idyllic countryside, perfect for hiking and cycling. On the other hand, the dusty desert-like landscape of the island of Anholt is famous for its huge seal sanctuary.. Another highlight is the island of Møn, with its dramatic scenery and its stunning coastline, flanked by the iconic chalk Cliffs of Møns Klimt.
Danish Culture
With an emphasis on modesty, equality, and politeness, Danish national culture shares strong ties with that of Sweden and Norway. Danes are unimpressed by material goods and flashy achievements, and perhaps the best-known export of Danish culture is the concept of ‘ Hygge’, recently gaining recognition worldwide. ‘Hygge’ is the feeling of coziness by creating a warm atmosphere in which to spend time with loved ones. It is a huge part of Danish culture and its importance might help to explain why the country is one of the happiest in the world when comfort, friendship, and family are integral parts of everyday life for most Danes. You can also expect to see a huge community spirit if you travel to Denmark . The country has some of the highest taxes in the world in order to ensure it is a pleasant place to live and there is a nation-wide push to battle climate change. There is a saying that ‘the bicycle in a Dane’s best friend’, with cycle-lanes used all year-round, no matter the weather. More traditional aspects of Danish culture include the prevalence of folklore, which has been passed down through the centuries and still feature in everyday culture, with references to elves and goblins. Of course, one of the most famous global exports is Danish design , characterized by functional and minimal furniture and household accessories.
The Kingdom of Denmark is sure to surprise you with its varied landscapes and archipelago of islands which offer unparalleled outdoors experiences. A trip to Denmark is an insight into the turbulent history of Scandinavia and a unique culture founded on a love of togetherness and ‘Hygge’.

Denmark Vacations, Tours, Trips & Travel Package
Denmark, bordered by Germany , is a country made up of 443 islands of which 70 are inhabited with a population of around 5.6 million people. Technically, Greenland and the Faroe Islands are a part of the Kingdom of Denmark. The terrain is flat with little elevation and consists mainly of arable land. The largest area is the western peninsula of Jutland which contains the cities of Aarhus and Aalborg. The largest island is Zealand which includes the capital, Copenhagen. Denmark has often been cited as one of the most desirable countries in which to live. One of the added bonuses is that almost everyone speaks fluent English, which adds to the enjoyment of Denmark vacations.
What are the top cities to visit in Denmark?
The capital, Copenhagen , is a compact city and has much to keep the visitor occupied. There is a network of canals on which one can enjoy an entertaining cruise while becoming acquainted with the city. The best known and very attractive canal in Nyhavn with its brightly-coloured 17 th and 18 th Century gabled townhouses.
On Denmark vacations, why not visit Aarhus, the 2 nd largest city in Denmark situated on the east coast of Jutland. It is where old meets new, from the 12 th Century cathedral to the striking contemporary Iceberg apartment complex. The Latin Quarter is the most picturesque part of Aarhus with its cobblestone streets and 14 th Century architecture. It is alive with culture and has been designated the European Capital of Culture for 2017. Its best-known art gallery is ARoS, one of the largest museums in Northern Europe. Other venues of interest are the Viking Museum and the Botanical Gardens.
Aalborg is Denmark’s 4 th largest city, situated at the northern tip of Jutland. It is known for its culture with its numerous theatres, symphony orchestras, opera companies and museums. It is a laid-back city with an old-world charm. The Aalborg waterfront has been gentrified with many restaurants and bars to enjoy on a Denmark vacation. It is also known for its annual carnival. The history of this 1,000-year-old city is depicted in the Historical Museum. Other interesting places to visit in Aalborg are the Museum of Modern Art, the Aalborg Historical Museum and the Utzon Centre designed by Jorn Utzon, who also designed the Sydney Opera House.
Top things to do on a Denmark tour
Royal family residences and castles.
Denmark is a Monarchy and Copenhagen has three important buildings connected to the Royal Family. Christiansborg Palace is the seat of the Danish government but it is also used by the Royal Family for functions and special events. Amalienborg Palace is the official home of the Royal Family and consists of 4 identical palaces. Immediately outside of Copenhagen are Frederiksborg Castle, originally a royal residence, and Kronberg Castle which was featured in Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet. Rosenborg Castle dates back to the 17 th Century and houses some of Denmark’s royal treasures. The Little Mermaid of Hans Christian Andersen fame sits in the harbour and is the official emblem of the city.
Copenhagen Tours and Attractions
For entertainment on Copenhagen vacations, the Tivoli Gardens is a pleasure park with attractions, restaurants and cafes. The Stroget is a busy pedestrian street and the principal shopping district. Another landmark is the ultra-modern Opera House, one of the most expensive ever built. Nearby is the district of Christiana, a very different kind of neighbourhood founded by squatters and hippies as an independent district and now full of art galleries, restaurants and cafes. There are several excellent museums which include the Carlsberg Glyptotek with its sculptures and fine arts collections, the Design Museum, The National Museum and the National Gallery of Denmark. A little further afield is Roskilde, the former capital of Denmark and known for its Viking Ship Museum.
Legoland is located in Billund, a small town in Jutland. It is situated next to the Lego factory and is made up of multiple themed areas and attractions. Outside of Copenhagen, it is the most visited Denmark tourist attraction in Denmark and houses the world’s largest Lego model.

A Taste of Scandinavia
Nikolai was FANTASTIC!!!! He was a great tour leader. The tour took us to many places and he educated us well. However, just a few negative comments. The hotels were not satisfactory ....I am used to better hotels when I travel. Carrying my luggage throughout the tour was very burdensome. I am an older person, and although I am in great shape, I did not want to be responsible for carrying my luggage everywhere. There was an 89 year old man on our trip. He had a real hard time catching up. I usually go on escorted tours where my luggage, and everything else, is handled by the guides, not by me. I loved the places that wer went to and overall I would suggest people take Tourradar and Intrepid if they don't mind doing some of the labor involved.
Grand Scandinavia (Classic, 20 Days)
The whole tour was amazing. i didn't realise what there was in the 3 countries we visited. The scenery was out if this world. Gregs knowledge of the area was very good and he had some good ideas for place to go on our free time. Zultan the driver was so good (i'm a driver myself) at negotiating the twist and turns of the roads. Not easy with a bus!!! Goerge our relief driver was also very good. This is the best tour I have been one (my 1st insight tour) I have been with 2 other companies in the past and this tour , driver and tour leader were out front by a very long margin.
Capitals of Scandinavia (10 Days)
Our Tour Director Mike was very knowledgeable about all the places we went to The be my guest lunch was off the beaten track and was sensational. As a solo traveller I felt reassured as Mike was making sure I was Ok. We had a wonderful bus driver Greg who made sure we had a safe journey in unpredictable weather
Scandinavia (Summer, 12 Days)
Northern Capitals
Well planned, lots of great experience. Iris (tour director) and Janek (driver) were both top-notch! There was a good balance of structured touring and free time.

Scandinavian Escape
I enjoyed the tour very much, some of the short stops could have been avoided to prolong the better stops or get us to our destination earlier so we can enjoy the area, but otherwise it was a lovely country and the tour provided a good oversight to Scandanavia.
- 10% deposit on some dates Some departure dates offer you the chance to book this tour with a lower deposit.
Scandinavia Highlights – Denmark Norway Sweden Finland
6-Day Pearls of Northern Europe End in Copenhagen
Alot of confusion with swirching buses if not alot of people signed up with the same tour as you. Overall enjoyable journey with plenty free time in between.
What people love about Denmark, Norway And Sweden Tours
I was worried about the culturally mixed tour clients due to some negative reviews from previous clients. But I enjoyed the experiences of mixing with participants from Mexico and the Philippines. Yes sometimes bilingual guides’ presentations were not clear, and I had to ask for clarifications. Hotels were better than I had expected from the reviews; except in one-hotel the lightening was so bd
My trip was well organized. The Tour Leader Amanda and the Driver Raffie were both excellent. The cities, sites, people, and events experienced were a joy.
