Widely regarded as one of the foremost songwriters of her generation or any other, Suzanne Vega is launching her Old Songs, New Songs and Other Songs tour this spring with a run of East Coast and Midwest dates kicking off April 9 in Albany, NY. The 2024 tour follows a busy year of touring in 2023 that saw Vega perform extensively in the U.K., across Europe and in the U.S. Her 2024 dates will treat audiences to a career spanning evening that will include a first listen to songs from a forthcoming album. Vega will be accompanied by her longtime guitarist, Gerry Leonard.

Of Vega’s performances The New York Times notes that she “is attentive to the realm of the unseen.” Finding Connecticut lauded a recent concert as “nothing short of mesmerizing, weaving tales through her soulful songs in a cozy setting that allowed for a deep connection with the audience.”

Vega emerged as a leading figure of the folk-music revival of the early 1980s. Since the release of her self-titled, critically acclaimed 1985 debut album, she has written and recorded numerous songs that have become part of the contemporary music vernacular, including “Luka,” “Marlene on the Wall” and “Tom’s Diner,” an a cappella piece that was remixed by U.K. electronic dance duo DNA and became a major club hit.

It remains an oft-sampled and covered standard by artists across the musical spectrum. Her albums, including her self-titled debut, follow-up Solitude Standing and 99.9F have sold millions of copies worldwide.

Nico Vega formed when singer Aja Volkman met Michael Peña and Rich Koehler at an open mic. However, when Pena’s (End of Watch, Narcos: Mexico, Crash, Ant-Man) acting career exploded, his schedule forced him to leave the band. Dan Epand stepped in on drums. Then following a 6 year hiatus, Nico Vega is returning with a new album slated to be called “Make it Out Alive” (produced by drummer Dan Epand). This marks the first time in the band's history that Michael Peña will join the band on his original instrument of bass. Thematically, the album represents a return to the soulful rawness and contentious battle to reclaim a sense of self-confidence and individuality following such a seismic life shift.

Amazing show.

Suzanne was brilliant and so was the band.

Played the 2 albums and some extra tunes,many people shouted for “Marlene on the wall” and she made that wish come true.

Suzanne Vega is so talented, she had the crowd spellbound! Her voice is like an angel, and even though her accompaniment was superb, she didn't really need to do anything but sing. She has written so many beautiful songs, you can tell she was born with a wonderful gift. I was so moved by her performance, I would recommend her to everyone! Even her setups between the music was clever, it was nice to know the history of the songs. I liked her new songs just as much as the older hits. Great show!!

David Guetta Announces Return to Vegas With New Residency in 2025

David Guetta is returning to Sin City with a new two-year residency at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

The DJ has signed a deal to headline Fontainebleau's iconic LIV Nightclub and LIV Beach daytime experience, with dates set to kick off in 2025. As part of the deal, Guetta will also make occasional appearances at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

While Guetta has been a staple at Wynn Nightlife's XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club for years, the new U.S. residency will see him spinning exclusively at LIV, the celeb hotspot created by David Grutman and Groot Hospitality. Guetta is still expected to headline festivals across the country, including EDC Las Vegas.

Fontainebleau CEO Jeffrey Soffer says the French DJ and producer was a "natural fit" for the luxury property, which opened last December at the north end of the Vegas strip. "David is once-in-a-generation talent who embodies the charisma and class that defines the Fontainebleau brand," Soffer says in a press release, adding that the DJ's music encapsulates, "the luxury lifestyle and vibrant energy of LIV and LIV Beach."

"I'm so grateful to Jeff Soffer for giving me a stage to do what I love for the greatest fans in the world," adds Guetta. "I get excited every time I'm about to perform at LIV in Miami, and now I cannot wait to start a fresh chapter at LIV Las Vegas inside the Strip's newest luxury resort. It is going to be incredible!"

This is the second major music announcement this year from Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The hotel announced in May that Keith Urban will be debuting a new residency inside its 3,800-seat BleauLive Theater. Titled "HIGH," the limited engagement kicks off with an initial 10-date run between October 2024 and February 2025. While artists like Justin Timberlake and Post Malone have performed at the theater , Urban's show will be the first official residency to take place at the new property.

As for Guetta, he debuted his latest hit, "I Don't Wanna Wait," during Ultra Music Festival in March. The uptempo dance-pop track features OneRepublic and has peaked at #4 so far on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart.

Post Malone announces F-1 Trillion concert tour: How to get tickets

Post Malone is heading on the road .

The "I Had Some Help" rapper , 28, has announced the F-1 Trillion Tour, which kicks off in September and will consist of 21 shows across the United States.

The tour is set to begin with a Sept. 8 performance in Salt Lake City before Post Malone heads to Indiana, New York, Maine and more states. The tour will wrap in Nashville , Tennessee , on Oct. 19.

This comes after Post Malone revealed he will drop "F-1 Trillion," his debut country album, on Aug. 16. On Friday, he dropped his latest single, "Pour Me A Drink," featuring Blake Shelton .

In May, Post Malone debuted "I Had Some Help," the lead single off "F-1 Trillion" featuring Morgan Wallen , and the track hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He's also coming off a collaboration with Taylor Swift on " Fortnight " from her album " The Tortured Poets Department ."

Tickets for the F-1 Trillion Tour will be available via a presale for Citi cardmembers that starts on June 26 at 10 a.m. local time and will continue until June 30 at 11:59 p.m.

Additional presales will continue throughout the week, according to the tour announcement, and the general onsale begins on July 1 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets will be available via Live Nation .

Pop singer-songwriter Lauv has announced his upcoming U.S. mini-tour “ Lauv – One Night In,” a fall trek that has him stopping by four cities.

Lauv will be joined by opener Alexander 23 on the short tour, which kicks off at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion on Sept. 21. The 29-year-old will play New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 23 and Berkeley, CA’s Greek Theatre on Oct. 2, and will conclude at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre on Oct 3.

It’s been two years since Lauv released his sophomore album “All 4 Nothing” via Virgin Music Label & Artist Services. He’s since split with the imprint and re-signed with AWAL, which put out his music before his deal with Virgin, and most recently released singles “Potential” and “Cozy” featuring Alexander 23 and Jeremy Zucker this year.
