“Morning is my nickname growing up,” says Tabudlo. “All my family and friends know me by that nickname so I just feel like it's nice to go back to something familiar in this tour that's why we named it The Morning Tour. I'm extra excited for this tour because I have a bigger entourage, my entire team and my band will be there so it will be chaotic but fun. I’m really looking forward to exploring the beautiful scenes, especially in Canada. It will be a wild show for sure. I’ll be singing more of my hit songs and I really look forward to meeting and interacting with the fans. I'm really grateful for each and every one of you. We’re going to party like crazy so see you all there!”

2021 was a year of breakthroughs for singer-songwriter, and producer Tabudlo. His anthemic singles “ Binibini ” and “ Nangangamba ” dominated multiple local Filipino and international charts across major streaming platforms.

After signing to Island Records Philippines/MCA Music in 2020, Tabudlo emerged as one of the fastest rising Original Filipino Music (OPM) artists - breaking records for streaming, digital sales, and airplay.

Tabudlo is very much known for his participation in The Voice Kids Philippines. As the years progressed, Tabudlo ventured into songwriting and music production. In 2020, he joined Island Records Philippines where he continued honing his identity as a musician by releasing songs such as “ Nangangamba ”, and “ Sigurado ”.

“ Episode is a word that gave such an impact to me at times where I was at my lowest,” Tabudlo singer-songwriter explains. “People would say ‘here he is with another episode’ or another stage of problems, where obviously not anyone would want to experience. It’s ironic to put it as an album title but it’s how I went through these stories, with these episodes. Everything is based on personal experiences, from heartbreak and love, from life to unfortunate events.”

The whole album is Tabudlo’s personal masterpiece. He was the sole writer, producer, and even mixed and mastered all 14 tracks. His growth as an artist is very evident in this album as he explored various musical styles in bringing these songs to life - ultimately creating his own sound with influences from pop, R&B, bedroom electronica, punk rock, ‘80s, and ‘90s alternative rock.

December Avenue and Zack Tabudlo announce joint US 2022 tour

More Filipino acts are heading abroad to play live shows.

On Thursday (25/11), Filipino-American promoter Toggleswitch announced the upcoming joint tour between award-winning alternative band December Avenue and 'Nanganganamba' singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo in 2022.

The cross-country tour will take the two acts to Washington, California, New York, Nevada, Virginia, and Florida from 30 April to 28 May .

BANDWAGON TV

The announcement of the upcoming tour follows December Avenue's recent performance at the Expo 2020 Dubai , where they performed onstage in front of an audience for the first time since the pandemic began.

Last month, Zack Tabudlo dropped his debut full-length album Episode . He is scheduled to hold his first solo virtual concert on 23 December .

Other Filipino acts, including Ely Buendia , Lea Salonga , Moira Dela Torre ,  Bamboo , BGYO , and BINI ,   previously announced their first tours abroad after the live music industry began to open up to the public.

Their MOA Arena party is their way of saying thank you to everyone who supported their success from day one. Upon entering, AIA members, and employees were given loot bags containing xylobands. Also, it ain’t a party without the munchies. So, they provided some food and drinks for everyone who attended the event.

Legends were summoned to one venue to bring in a night of art, music, and hear AIA holler their loudest ROAR. The concert featured world-class talents from renowned artists such as El Gamma Penumbra, Parokya Ni Edgar, Zack Tabudlo, December Avenue, Gary Valenciano, The Diegos, and Ely Buendia.

The stage is quite noticeable upon entering MOA Arena since it had a prominent triangular LED niched mostly for the brand AIA.

While lighting and stage treatment can go along with international concerts, it also proved that it is a unique bash. The attendees were also included in the production since they wore xylobands that simultaneously blinks depending on the songs being played.

The event started with America’s Got Talent’s first-season heroes from Tanaun, Batangas— El Gamma Penumbra. An exquisite display of affection was expressed via shadow play. The performance lit the darkness in the place, slowly igniting the excited crowd on things that were in store for them.

Pasay City’s “big eye” widely opened brightly with December Avenue. The mellow dramatic tunes of the band with the most streamed album of all time jumpstarted a sea of people. They did play radio favorites like “Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-ibig,” “Huling Sandali” and “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw.”

Zack Tabudlo, on the other hand, smoothly brings in the blues with sexy guitar licks and funky beats. Of course, the girls went gaga especially when he mentions that he’s on the lookout for someone to be with. Frets were on fire, and strings got bent with hot tracks namely “Binibini,” “Asan Ka Na Ba,” “Habang Buhay,” and “Yakap.”

It’s no surprise how a band like Parokya Ni Edgar can automatically make thousands of people stand upon hitting the stage. Chito Miranda then entered and asked people in the patron to move closer, for it to be more intimate. The band had a long set jamming to the songs “Buloy,” “Inuman Na,” “Para Sa’yo,” “Harana,” and “Your Song.”

Fans near the stage also had the opportunity to have selfies with the PNE’s frontman, quipping “Picture lang, may trauma na ako sa video.”Chito also invited two lucky fans to sing on stage. They also proxied Francis M. and Gloc-9 for a night rapping the song “Bagsakan.”

When the toms and the snare are placed in front, there will definitely be a “Hataw” coming right up. Gary Velenciano pumps up the crowd that wears red. The arena instantly turned into a dance as he notably sang hits such as “Di Bale Na Lang Kaya,” “Sa Yaweh Ang Sayaw,” “Reaching out,” “Eto na naman,” and “Take Me Out of The Dark.”

According to Mr. Pure Energy, Gary V., medical assurance is quintessential. For someone who gets ill—and gets a confinement visit to the hospital once in a while—he mentioned that something like what AIA offers is needed. After the intimate talk, he invited Chito Miranda onto the stage to play their collab song with AIA—“It’s Real Love.”

Then comes the caveat. As the finale of the show, Ely Buendia and his band started their set with the song “Alapaap.” People in the venue witnessed the legend on stage singing the most famous OPM track of all time—Ligaya. As the show ends, Ely did close it down with the Eraserheads’ anthem “Ang Huling El Bimbo.”

Zack Tabudlo drops single “Diba,” the new anthem for broken hearts and letting go

Between trending on social media and going on tour, Zack has been making headlines in the music scene for the past few weeks. But the internationally-acclaimed singer decides to dive right back into making songs—particularly gut-wrenching ones he’s known for, like the new single “Diba.”

“Diba” expresses the pain of letting go and the irony of feeling sorrow even after suffering from lies and unfulfilled promises.

And while Zack has been experimenting with new musical breakthroughs as of late, his new era leaves room for what propelled him to the spotlight. To him, “Diba” is quite different from the Z∀CK: FOR ∀LL Album

“This song is very chill from all songs I’ve released, especially [since] it’s coming from a very different genre and an album of experimentation. Production-wise, it’s going for classic sounds, [and] with this one, it’s very toned down and heartbreaking—like how I always used to do it.”

For the songwriter, his lyrical choice screams one thing: pain and heartbreak for the listeners. Backed by “chill” and RnB pop instruments, every beat can be striking.

“I want the listeners to feel the pain in every beat and lyric to this song—it’s heartbreaking to let go of someone you love.”

He also further shares that writing the song allowed him to tap into “vulnerability and just being free and open to writing something.” And when asked about the best part of the song, Zack looks back on where and how he started.

“It felt very nice going back to what I usually write and produce…felt nice to just be me and write for me and the people going through tough times.”

Fans can expect Zack to write more gut-wrenching music, tours, and other headline-worthy ventures.

But for now, we entirely agree: “Diba” will truly be destroying hearts.

#EastwoodNYE2023: Eastwood City to host bigger, brighter New Year Countdown 2023

Eastwood City, home of the longest-running and most-anticipated New Year’s Eve countdown celebration in Manila, returns with a bigger and brighter series of events to usher in the year 2023.

Going all out with its biggest celebration in two years, Eastwood – Quezon City New Year Countdown 2023 is set to return with a bang this December 31 at the Eastwood Mall Open Park with the much-anticipated free-for-all event that will feature live musical performances, fireworks displays, the iconic Star Drop, exciting activities, and an after-party that will run until the early hours of 2023.

The Rock to New Year’s Eve concert will begin at around 9PM. Guests can jam to energizing performances from Christian Bautista, Lola Amour, Yeng Constantino, and Zack Tabudlo.

Zach Bryan Shares Video of 'Massive' Spider Crawling on Him During Concert: 'I Was Scared to Make a Big Deal'

The country star was forced to briefly stop mid-set and saw the spider off his shoulder

Zach Bryan knows the show must go on — even when a spider is involved.

The country star, 28, was interrupted mid-set by a creepy crawly during a recent concert in Columbus, Ohio, and shared video of the unexpected moment to X .

“Guys a whole ass spider climbed on me during my set last night and I stopped mid set to swat it off of me,” he wrote on Sunday, June 23. “I was scared to make a big deal of it because NOBODY saw it but here it is in all her glory it was massive.”

In Bryan’s video, and in fan video shared to TikTok, the large spider can be seen scurrying across his chest and up his shoulder while he sings his hit “Something in the Orange.”

At one point, Bryan stopped playing to swat it away, and laughed as he eventually returned to the mic stand.

“There was a spider on me. I’m really sorry, you guys,” he told the crowd.

Bryan is currently in the midst of his The Quittin’ Time Tour, which is scheduled to wrap with two shows in Brooklyn in December.

On July 4, he’ll drop his fifth studio album The Great American Bar Scene .

Days before his spider snafu, Bryan celebrated girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia ’s birthday with a sweet Instagram tribute on June 17.

“You turn 25 today. 25 years of making people laugh, bringing kindness into rooms, and carrying the weight of everyone around you like it’s easy,” he captioned his post. “You don’t judge on first glances, you have opinions you stick to and you make every passing day warmer no matter the weather.”

“I love you Brianna, I pray I get to say all this after 25 more,” he added.

Baun, 27, started six games for the Saints last season, recording two sacks, an interception, and four quarterback hits. In the 2023 regular season, Baun recorded 30 tackles across 17 games.

Baun saw a career-high 292 defensive snaps last season while continuing to play a critical role on special teams (381).

2024 outlook

Baun saw his profile rise as a pass rusher in New Orleans last year. The expectation was that he’d be a semi-edge rusher in Philadelphia as well, but Vic Fangio is a fan and could look to transform the former reserve into a Swiss army knife as an inside linebacker.

Biggest question: Can Baun beat out Nakobe Dean

The 2020 third-round pick was a core special-teamer since his first year with the Saints, but he’s yet to log more than 30 tackles in a single season.

During OTAs and the mandatory minicamp, the 27-year-old Baun received most of his reps as a first-team linebacker next to Devin White.

“I have no clue why [defensive coordinator Vic Fangio] went that direction, actually,” Baun said. “I can do a lot of different things. If that’s where Vic sees me and he’s studied my film, he’s watched me. He’s seen me in the league and in college, he’s seen what I can do. And if he thinks that’s a good spot for me, that’s where I’ll be.”

Late in the 2023 season, Baun rushed the quarterback 99 times in the final six games of the season compared to 33 times in the first 11, according to Pro Football Focus.

In his four NFL seasons, Baun has played 62 career games (14 starts). While he’s capable of being a special teams standout, he’ll need to battle with Nakobe Dean for the linebacker spot opposite Devin White.
