Joining Underwood for the tour is Jimmie Allen , who recently earned wins for CMA new artist of the year and ACM new male artist of the year in 2021, as well as a Grammy nomination for best new artist earlier this year. Allen is set to release his upcoming album, Tulip Drive , on June 24.
“I’m thrilled to be hitting the road again with The Denim & Rhinestones tour,” Underwood said via a statement. “I’m having such an amazing time with my Las Vegas residency and look forward to continuing that next year after the tour. I’m excited to bring the new music of Denim & Rhinestones to life on tour, as well as put new spins on familiar favorites. We’ve been working hard already preparing an amazing show, and I can’t wait to see everyone on the road!”

The Carrie Underwood concert was awesome. This was my fourth time seeing her and she did not disappoint! Lively entertainment with and great stage show. She sang her heart out. As Carrie matures her voice become stronger and sweeter. I look forward to seeing her again. She sang songs off her new album and mixed in oldies as well. It’s a girls tour with her opening acts all being female and then they all shared the stage and sang harmony of past female singers it gave me chills. My one complaint and it was a big one was the stage, I paid top dollar to sit close to the stage thinking that I would have a great view on the entire show. I was totally wrong in this thought. I sat on the third row and had an obstructed view most of the time when Carrie was standing in the middle of the center stage or on the opposite side. At times could only she the top of her head or nothing at all. This was a huge disappointment since I’ve NEVER paid this much for a concert ticket!! They tried to make allowances for this fact by having risers on the stage which place Carrie and the band members up high but still wasn’t enough. I felt even worse for those on the floor who could only watch and see her when she was directly standing in front of them!! The stage was too high for the stadium seats that were around the edges. First 4 rows had this issue and as I said I paid top dollar not realizing that this would be an obstructed view. This should have been stated when I purchased my ticket. People sitting around me was verbalizing their disappointment as well, especially the people in the first two rows. Over all the concert would have been a wonderful experience if not for my crappy expensive seat. I was crying ugly in section 114 row c seat 14.

Thanks Again,
She was amazing. I had the best time ever with my mom. By the end I was sweating down my back. I love her so much. Easton Corban and the swon brothers killed it as well. I'm so glad I was able to go. This birthday had to all of the other birthdays. Loved of her alfits. Loved the dedication to Dolly Parten, and Alabama. Loved those songs. I love ask the the swon brothers, Easton Corban, and Carrie Underwood.

Underwood stated, “I feel very special right now. It truly was an honor to open the Theatre at Resorts World and to be the first on that stage. The "Before He Cheats" singer recently hit the town for a rare evening out after one of her shows, and she shared photos from the event on her Instagram feed. Carrie headed to Zouk Nightclub (also at Resorts World) to take in a Ludacris concert. Fans will remember that Carrie and Ludacris teamed up in 2018 for the certified platinum song, "The Champion."
Carrie shared a selfie with Ludacris and wrote, "Pretty sure @ludacris is the only person who could get me out to the club after my show @resortsworldlv . @zoukgrouplv was so much fun and we even got a fun surprise watching @tpain ! Thanks for a fun night out! #LasVegas #zouk."
Carrie dressed down for the night and ditched her typical "denim and rhinestones" for black leggings, a black Guns 'n' Roses T-shirt , and a yellow "Welcome to the Jungle" trucker hat (another nod to Guns 'n' Roses). She paired the look with slouchy leather boots.
Fans rushed to the comments section to say, "Is that really Carrie Underwood?" and "I didn’t even recognize her!"
Others remarked, "ultimate life goal is so go to the club with carrie 😂👏🏼" "Y’all should have got on stage and sang THE CHAMPION! Would have been epic!" and "YOU DO YOU CARRIE! What an experience I can ONLY imagine!!"
We love to see this casual side of Carrie! We'll be looking for more fun photos as her Las Vegas residency continues.

Another fan commented, “She’s 41, did people expect her to look the same? I know I don’t look the same as I did in my 20s so why would they expect her to look the same?”.
Injury to her face
The "Before He Cheats" singer revealed that she had a nasty fall in November 2017 while walking her dogs near her Nashville home and was rushed to the hospital at the time for her injuries.
Revealing to her exclusive fan club members at the end of 2017, Carrie listed the extent of the damage: “In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well. I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told [her husband] that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in.”
The fall caused her to shy away from the spotlight for a few months while she recovered, with the American Idol alum not even able to use her angelic voice due to the extensive stitches both on her face and inside her mouth.
Speaking to Today host Hoda Kotb at the time, Carrie disclosed her fears after her accident: “In the beginning, I didn't know how things were going to end up. It just wasn't pretty… I have a dedicated team of professionals who can spackle and paint and paste.”
This accident caused fans to speculate that she had gotten plastic surgery to try and correct her face post-stitches.
Has Carrie had plastic surgery?
HELLO! spoke with aesthetic doctor Dr Sabina Hanoman-Singh of the CREO Clinic in September 2023 about Carrie’s potential plastic surgeries and what she may have done.
"Carrie Underwood looks great and whilst we don’t know if she has had any treatments to enhance her looks, it looks as though she may have chosen some anti-aging and natural enhancement procedures to maintain her youthful look gracefully" said Dr. Sabina.
The doctor speculated that she may have had “anti-wrinkle injections”, “collagen synthesis treatments”, and “dermal filler”, among other less invasive treatments like laser therapy.
Carrie denied going under the knife in an interview with Redbook in August 2018, blaming the tabloids for stirring up gossip.
“It's a little sad, because the truth is just as interesting…I wish I'd gotten some awesome plastic surgery to make this [scar] look better. But I try not to worry too much about it. My mom will be like, "Did you see they are saying this about you?" And I'll be like, "Mama, I don't care. I'm just trying to raise my son and live my life."”
Accident on tour
While it’s unclear whether she has undergone plastic surgery, the singer is still at the top of her game after just wrapping up a Las Vegas residency at Resorts World and is set to take her Reflection Tour on the road in the upcoming months.
She recently scared fans when she fell during a torrential downpour that graced her set at the Carolina Country Music Festival, prompting more concerns over her wellbeing.
She quickly took to Instagram again to reassure everyone that it was merely a tumble, writing in her caption, “Well, last night sure was fun! And though the ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget! Thanks for being awesome, #MyrtleBeach!!!”.
She followed this up with another post , promising that “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either! #SingingInTheRain”.
Carrie burst onto the scene when she was just 21 years old, on the 2004-2005 season of ‘American Idol’, where she went on to win the whole thing, signaling the beginning of a long and still-flourishing career in country music.
The singer has a whopping eight Grammy awards under her belt, making her the most awarded ‘American Idol’ alum ever, according to the Grammy website.

On this night, one can see Lady Gaga singing Four Non-Blondes’ hit “What’s Up” to Linda Perry; Stevie Nicks belting “The Rose” to Bette Midler; Emmylou Harris performing Eric Clapton’s heartbreaking hit “Tears in Heaven” for the song’s co-writer Will Jennings; Joe Walsh performing ELO’s “Don’t Bring Me Down” (and saying, “I always wanted to be in ELO — now I have”), and in 2011, the evening ended with Billy Joel and Garth Brooks duetting at the piano in matching Stetson hats.
Every year, honorees who have won multiple Grammy and other awards say this award means the most to them, because a recognition from their peers of the art and craft that is the very foundation of all music: songwriting, a message that is more important than ever as the industry continues to find new and brazen ways to avoid paying the creators of that foundation .
This event is probably the only one on earth that could feature performances from R.E.M., SZA (pictured above with hit producer and SHOF president Nile Rodgers), Carrie Underwood, Andra Day, Phish’s Trey Anastasio, Keith Urban, El Debarge and Jason Isbell, but a similar statement could be made every year.
However, a couple of things were very different this year. For one, the tightly-run show — which often approaches (and sometimes even passes) the five-hour mark due to packed lineups and speeches that can hit the double-digit-minute mark — was done before 11 p.m. for the first time in anyone’s memory. And second but far more significant, longtime SHOF CEO Linda Moran, who was appointed to the role in 2001 and whose industry career reaches back to the 1960s, wasn’t there, for the only reason that could have kept her away: At the top of the show, Board member Evan Lamberg of Universal Music Publishing gently told the audience that Moran wasn’t there because she’s battling leukemia. Yet he quickly countered the gasps in the room by saying that she’s receiving the best possible care and treatment is moving in a good direction. He then led the crowd in a quick video greeting to her before moving on to the show.
The evening’s music kicked off in characteristically far-reaching fashion with the tribute to songwriter Dean Pitchford, as the high school-aged winners of the Hall’s 2024 Abe Olman Scholarship sang his hit for Irene Cara from the film “Fame,” followed by R&B singer Deniece Williams delivering a stellar version of “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” followed by Kevin Bacon, with his brother Michael on guitar, singing “Footloose,” complete with some fleet footwork from Kevin, who starred in the film some 40 years ago. Pitchford delivered a gracious acceptance speech before singing a medley of his other songs, finishing with “Once Before I Go.”
A dramatic musical shift followed as Phish singer-guitarist Trey Anastasio took the stage to honor Steely Dan — Donald Fagen and the late Walter Becker — playing a sleek medley of “Kid Charlamagne” and “Reeling in the Years,” remarkably channeling Fagen’s voice on the former and showing some dazzling guitar work on both.
Veteran power manager Irving Azoff took the stage to induct his longtime clients, telling an amusing story about how the group, which stubbornly refused to tour during their 1970s commercial peak, asked him one day to schedule a concert. Azoff excitedly booked a show, which quickly sold out, and then asked the group when he could follow with more dates. “‘Oh, we have no intention of touring,’ he recalled them saying. ‘We just wanted to see how big we are,’” and promptly canceled the date. Fagen followed with a brief and gracious thank you.
In a characteristically effusive acceptance speech, SZA noted that her parents were in the audience and said, “Out of all the awards, I feel like this means the most — it validates my entire career.” Accompanied by a guitarist, she then delivered an acoustic version of her 2023 hit single, “Snooze.”
Next up was Carrie Underwood, who used every bit of her formidable vocal power to honor songwriter Hillary Lindsey, writer of one of her biggest hits, “Jesus Take the Wheel.” Lindsey — no mean singer herself — gave a warm acceptance speech before picking up a vintage Gibson acoustic guitar to deliver a medley of two of her other hits, inviting Keith Urban to the stage to duet with her on his Lindsey-cowritten 2016 hit, “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”
The crowd roared as Missy Elliott took the stage to induct her longtime friend and collaborator, hit producer Timbaland (Tomothy Mosely) — the pair, who met as high school students in Virginia, soared into the public consciousness in 1996 by cowriting and coproducing Aaliyah’s “One in a Million” album and haven’t dipped since. She recalled seeing his “big hands on this little keyboard, and I was amazed that he could make songs with [the keyboard’s] weird dog and cat sounds and handclap noises.” She also recalled Moseley’s father, a long-haul truck driver, telling the pair to stop making so much noise “with your boobiddy bop-bop” because he had to rest up for a drive.
“That boobiddy bop-bop is now in the Songwriters Hall of Fame,” she concluded with a laugh.
Moseley gave the evening’s only long acceptance speech before leading the ace house band through a fast-paced, mostly instrumental medley of around a dozen of his hits — complete with a conductor’s wand — including “Big Pimpin’,” “Pony,” “Get Your Freak On,” “Drunk in Love,” “Promiscuous,” and “Suit & Tie,” concluding with Justin Timberlake’s 2006 smash “SexyBack.”
Country star Jason Isbell then took the stage to honor R.E.M. — singer Michael Stipe, guitarist Peter Buck, bassist Mike Mills and drummer Bill Berry — with a rapid-fire version of their 1987 hit “It’s the End of the World as We Know It.” Calling them “my friends and my heroes,” he spoke of their vast influence on him and many others as a young musician. He presented all four members with their trophies and then stepped aside as Stipe gave a heartfelt acceptance speech on behalf of the entire group, which then moved center stage to perform their 1991 hit “Losing My Religion.” (Read Variety ’s full recap of R.E.M.’s speech and performance here .)

Warren grew emotional during her characteristically humorous and idiosyncratic speech, thanking her mother “for being the first of many I proved wrong” but then tearing up as she thought of her watching from heaven, her father “for being the first of many I proved right,” Clive Davis, who she called one of her greatest champions, and all of the artists “who make my songs sound a hell of a lot better than I do.”
The evening concluded with El Debarge taking the stage for a show-closing version of Warren’s hit “Rhythm of the Night” — which the audience, pleasantly surprised by the early hour, slowly filtered out into.

Carrie Underwood gave an epic performance at the Carolina Country Music Fest on Sunday, June 9, and took a tumble while taking her final exit off stage.
The weather decided to act as a free prop during the end of Carrie’s set when the rain poured down as she belted her hit “Before He Cheats.” The audience went wild as they sang the breakup anthem with the country star, 41, who rocked a cutoff white shirt, daisy dukes and silver booties. While waving goodbye to her fans, Carrie turned to walk off stage and seemingly slipped on a set of stairs, as seen in footage obtained by TMZ .
She may have busted her butt, but the American Idol winner was thrilled by the energy she and the music festival’s attendees electrified during the set. Carrie shared snapshots of her performance with her band via Instagram on Monday, June 10, gushing that although the “ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget!”
Shortly after, the “Cowboy Casanova” singer shared a clip of the final song of the show. In the video, the spotlight was on Carrie as the crowd screamed the lyrics and the rain showered down like it was a scene out of a movie.
“We won’t let a little rain stop us,” she captioned the post . “We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!”
Carrie’s Instagram followers thought that the moment was a rockstar move and ran to the comment section to share their thoughts.
“This lady is committed to her fans! No. Matter. What. And her band is amazing!” one person wrote while another fan commented, “The fact that it ONLY RAINED FOR THE LAST SONG is so iconic.” A third person even went as far as to crown Carrie as “Entertainer of the Year.”
When she’s not gracing the stage to perform in front of her die-hard fans, Carrie lives a “grounded” life in Tennessee with husband Mike Fisher and sons Isaiah, 8, and Jacob, 4.
“Mike and I do all we can to raise our two boys with values like the ones I grew up with,” including “church on Sundays,” she told People in 2021.
Not to mention, she keeps her simplistic farmhouse lifestyle when she temporarily resides in Las Vegas during her tour.
“When you have an epic residency @resortsworldlv in fabulous Las Vegas, but you’re kind of a nerd, you go to Ace Hardware on your day off to buy canning supplies. You also bring your sourdough starter (a.k.a. ‘Norm’), eggs and granola from home,” Carrie captioned her May 23 Instagram post . “My off days shall consist of working out, sunning myself, baking bread and canning. Just a girl who enjoys the fabulous along with the simple!”
Fans who got FOMO from the concert can take a trip to Sin City to see the Grammy-winning artist during her extended Reflection tour at Resorts World Theatre throughout 2024.

Carrie Underwood Takes A Tumble During Rainy Concert Performance
E ver the consummate professional, Carrie Underwood seems to be in good spirits after a minor slip-up during her rainy Sunday concert in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Footage of Underwood’s June 9 performance at the Carolina Country Music Fest shows the eight-time Grammy winner appearing to lose her balance while descending a short flight of stairs at the rear of the stage, which had been pummeled in a sudden downpour.
The tumble ― which took place moments after Underwood had finished performing her 2006 smash, “Before He Cheats” ― did not go unnoticed by audience members. In a clip obtained by TMZ , several fans can be heard proclaiming: “She fell!”
Watch TMZ’s footage of Underwood’s Myrtle Beach performance below.
On Monday, Underwood appeared to allude to the slip while sharing photos and a short video of her rain-soaked show on social media.
“Well, last night sure was fun! And though the ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget!” she wrote on X , formerly Twitter.
She reiterated that sentiment on Instagram , noting: “We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!”
The moment brought to mind Underwood’s more serious accident seven years ago. In 2017, she “missed a step” outside her home in Nashville, Tennessee, while walking her dogs, requiring surgery and more than 40 stitches after she suffered a broken wrist and numerous cuts to her face.
“I was taking the dogs out to go pee one last time, and I just — I tripped,” she recalled on iHeart Radio’s “The Bobby Bones Show” in 2018. “There was one step, and I didn’t let go of the leashes! Priorities! So that’s why my left hand’s fine.”
She added: “If I had fallen anywhere else, I would have been perfectly fine. But it was one step that messed everything up.”
Underwood is slated to return to the concert stage on June 24 in Canandaigua, New York. She resumes her acclaimed residency in Las Vegas in August.
