Went on the Great Ocean Road Eco-tour from Melbourne. My guide and driver was Camille, who has an amicable personality. The coach arrived at Pan Pacific punctually at 8am. I was the only Asian in the tourist group, so before I boarded the coach, she confirmed with me that I'm from Singapore and could understand English well. Throughout the journey, she introduced various landmarks and history behind them to us. She also took the initiative to take photos for us. Enough time was given for us to explore various scenic spots. Before arriving at the next destination, she also explained in detail the kind of terrain and environment to expect, so that we could self-assess, based on our individual physical fitness level, if it's suitable to participate in a certain activity. On the way, she played a wide selection of music to make the lengthy ride more enjoyable. It must be physically demanding to take care of so many tourists and driving at the same time. I'll give her five stars out of five for her exceptional professionalism.
I went to Phillip Island with Hilda yesterday. It was a great experience. She had an outstanding attitude the whole way, even overlooking late-return-to-the-bus customers and others that hustled her to drop them off at custom locations. I was thrilled with the Penguin Plus seating area and loved the astounding parade. The other stops were fun (Brighton Beach and Moonlit Sanctuary). The time went by quickly; the timing was quite tight. In hindsight, it is quite a bargain price-wise considering all the admission prices. Future recommendations would include wider seats, pockets in front and overhead shelves.
A friend booked the Great Ocean Road Day Tour for me while I was in Melbourne because I mentioned I wanted to see the 12 Apostles. After spending an entire day (7am to 9ishpm) on the Great Ocean Road, I can say that the Sunset Tour would have been more enjoyable as a single rider, as a full day was a lot more bus than Great Ocean Road. Bec had a lot of energy from the moment she picked me up (I was the first) to the moment I was dropped off (last). She had a lot of cute quips up her sleeve as well as generic info about the Great Ocean Road you could get from the Internet. Very impressive how she remembered the entire bus-load of folks with hard-to-pronounce names the entire tour. There wasn't a lot of mingling among our group, but I'm guessing that all depends on the group and your interest in getting to know them/their interest in getting to know you. Definitely a Debbie Downer here, but when you're not coasting on your own schedule, it just feels like a lot of the same coast at every stop. Not to be bah humbug, but once you've seen one beautiful beach, you've seen them all! I wish there was actually more time to explore some of the cute coastal towns stops than there was allotted to each scenery stop. The little bfast nibble and included lunch were a nice touch, but nothing extraordinary, as was the complimentary wifi on the bus. I wouldn't recommend this as a solo activity and I'd recommend a shortened version of the day tour if you're wavering.
Took a tour from Melbourne down the Great Ocean Road and back. This was an excellent way to see the beautiful coast without driving yourself! My guide was named Noddy. He was super nice & friendly. My only complaint is that instead of leaving patrons that were late to return to the bus at each stop, he would sit and wait and wait and wait which isn't fair to the rest that paid and made it back on time. The bus was a mini bus which I preferred however the seats were incredibly small and not comfortable for that long of a drive! Pick up was on time around 7:45, drop off was around 8:30 PM. It was a very long day but there was so much to see!! Lorne, Torquay, the 12 Apostles, Apollo Bay, Gibson Steps, Shipwreck Cove, Loch Ard Gorge, Mait Rainforest, Kitts River where you see koalas in the wild. Could've done without the lukewarm water for the morning coffee/tea. The entire point of the trip is to do the 12 Apostles and Gibson Steps. It was nice to see this at sunset but it felt rushed. You don't need a ton of time here but it just felt like you had to snap pictures and get on your way; maybe could've done without Torquay. Overall good tour and I will recommend it again.

Did a tour to the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne. We had Sophie as our tour guide and driver, nice small tour with 24 people. Sophie was very energetic the whole entire day from beginning to end, which was long! A bonus was WiFi on the bus. Got picked up at our hotel first, at 7:25am. We spent an extra 45 mins in the morning picking up other people. At the end, we also spent an extra 45 minutes dropping people of at 11:30pm, which we didn't think was too fair. We have been on other tours in this area where the first pick up was the first drop off in town. Morning tea and coffee was nice at our first stop, Torquay. We stopped for lunch at Apollo Bay, a cute family oriented and fishing town. We had a good group of people that were friendly and mostly on time for our depart times. I wish we had more time at the 12 apostles and Gibson steps, though. Sophie was a great guide and very informative and personable. She was generous about bathroom/food stops and was so patient and talkative along the way; the only thing we didn't like was that she suggested tips at the end. Overall would recommend Go West for the Great Ocean Road!
Had a fantastic journey to the 12 Apostles with our guide Ricky! The entire journey was exciting and fun, with ample stops for bathroom breaks, food, and pictures. Our guide was extremely energetic and informative, and gave us many details about everything from the trees in the rainforest to the significance of the 12 Apostles. I had a great trip. Although the journey was a bit long, I felt engaged all the way until the drive home.
Why I would choose this company: 1. WiFi 2. Small group tour 3. Dave and Travis!! I did the Ocean Road with Dave and Penguin parade with Travis. Great tour guides who are very well versed. Thank you for the cake, coffee, hot cocoa, and tea at the stops. The music was corny, but hilarious. I will never call a koala a koala bear...it's a marsupial!!! I wish it we could spend more time at Panny's chocolates. I didn't care for the wine tasting, but that could be because I'm spoiled having Napa Valley so close by. The owner at the winery was great though. Perhaps future winery sessions indoors away from the flies??? It was seriously gross to eat the bread, fruit, and cheese after having a bunch of flies land on it. Many thanks again! Will recommend to friends and family visiting.
Bec was a fantastic tour guide, she made our very long day fun and informative. The Ocean Road tour was amazing. So glad we did it! Thanks again Bec for a fantastic day and the perfect drop off.

The tour was excellent! We got to see so much and our tour guide, Aaron, did an amazing job teaching us about the Great Ocean Road.
Great tour and the guide James was awesome. Good information and views. Highly recommended. Add the extra helicopter ride if possible.
It was all so amazing, the people, the activities, the views, the experience, the tour guide. Penguin parade was amazing.
Had a great time in this trip! The moonlit sanctuary, the pyramid view point and the actual penguin parade - each was unique! The experience of watching the animals in their habitats is awesome, and the penguin parade gave a great glimpse of that. Didn't take any photos of the parade since it was prohibited. The guide, Israel, was fun to be around and kept giving nuggets of information! Thank you!

Departing Melbourne at around midday, we journey to the city’s most colourful attraction – the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes – for an opportunity to visit the beach and take some time to admire these historic landmarks.
We continue our journey through Melbourne’s bayside suburbs on the way to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Here, we enjoy a guided wildlife walk where we have the opportunity to meet and hand-feed many species of native Australian animals . Learn about iconic species such as kangaroos, koalas, emus, and wallabies , as well as some of our lesser-known favourites including quolls, owls, bandicoots, and Tasmanian devils .
Included in our visit here is the spectacular “Conservation in Action” wildlife show , which showcases several lesser-known Australian species in a series of interactive and engaging ranger presentations .
Continuing to Phillip Island, a visit to Point Grant and The Nobbies gives us an opportunity to enjoy views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest population of fur seals .
And then it’s onwards to the main event, the Phillip Island penguin tour. Just after dark every night, the world’s smallest penguins waddle ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. You’ll be truly enchanted as the stars of the show emerge from the surf and pass right before your eye s on their journey back to their homes. Your guide will ensure you get the very best vantage point to enjoy the Penguin Parade .
After the parade, we allow plenty of time to explore the visitor centre before beginning our own journey back to Melbourne. With dropoff right back to your inner city accommodation, you’ll remember this day as a true highlight of your Australian holiday.
