Vergessen Sie dann nicht, den Keukenhof zu besuchen, wo Sie die schönen Aussichten oder die blühenden Tulpen und andere Blumen, für die Holland berühmt ist, entdecken werden.Die Geschichte von Keukenhof geht bis ins 15. Jahrhundert zurück. Gräfin Jacoba von Bayern (1401-1436) holte aus ‚Keukenduin‘ (Kräutergarten in den Dünen) ihre Kräuter und Gemüse für die Küche von Schloss Teylingen. Schloss Keukenhof wurde 1641 erbaut und das Anwesen wuchs zu einer Fläche von über 200 Hektar. In 1857 gestalteten die Landschaftsarchitekten Jan David Zocher und sein Sohn Louis Paul Zocher, die später auch den Vondelpark in Amsterdam entworfen, den Garten rundum das Schloß. Dieser im Englischen Landschaftsstil entworfene Park bildet noch immer die Grundlage des heutigen Parks. 1949 entwickelte eine Gruppe führender Blumenzwiebelzüchter und -Exporteure den Plan, auf dem Landgut eine Frühjahrsblumenausstellung zu starten. 1950 eröffnete der Frühlingspark Keukenhof zum ersten Mal und buchte sofortigen Erfolg: 236.000 Besucher. Der Keukenhof ist der berühmteste und größte Blumenpark der Welt und liegt nicht weit von Amsterdam entfernt. Im Frühjahr blühen mehr als 7 Millionen Blumenzwiebeln mit insgesamt 800 Tulpensorten. Ein einzigartiges und unvergessliches Erlebnis! Zusätzlich zu den weitläufigen 32 Hektar Blumen können Sie die spektakuläre Blume, erstaunliche inspirierende Gärten, einzigartige Arbeiten und wunderbare Veranstaltungen genießen.
