Kelsea Ballerini was truly amazing! She has amazing stage energy and it made a perfect night... this was a concert I will never forget. I have been listening to her music for a long time and getting to see her perform them live was an incredible experience.

This concert was absolutely amazing. She put on such a great show and really tried to interact w the crowd taking selfies and Doug lots of covers. Her music is great so fun sassy and entertaining. She was super nice and we got to meet her backstage!!!

GREAT SHOW! Loved watching Levi Hummon, he was so awesome!! And loved the surprise visit from Tori Kelly! Kelsea was absolutely stunning and she was so fun to hang out with!

The country star welcomed several female collaborators for the project, including Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, a co-writer on the album’s title “Subject to Change” and the tour’s namesake, “Heartfirst.” Alysa Vanderheym is also a co-producer on the project, and wrote “Heartfirst” with Fairchild and Ballerini. She also collaborated with Carly Pearce and Kelly Clarkson on the song “You’re Drunk, Go Home.”

“It’s interesting because in the conversation of, ‘Yes, we need more women in country music,’ what does that actually look like?” Ballerini previously told Billboard . “We need more female artists and collaborators but we also need more female opportunities throughout the whole chain of events, you know? I intentionally wanted to write with more women this time. For me, when you are making a record about emotions, when you connect with a woman creatively, you’re gonna be able to tap into that in a whole different way.”

Having wrapped up her immensely popular UK run of shows, Kelsea Ballerini is now heading out on a sprawling series of US and Canadian dates across the Spring and Summer.

Kelsea recently unveiled the third leg of her HEARTFIRST tour, which will take the Tennessee star across California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Arizona.

These dates will once again be supported by rising country star, Georgia Webster, who also opened all of Kelsea's UK shows.

Here, you'll find all the latest updates and show announcements for Kelsea Ballerini's 2023 Concert Tour as they are announced.

Kelsea completed the first section of her HEARTFIRST tour in 2022, and she'll kick off the second leg on March 6 in Toronto.

Once she's out on the road, Kelsea will take her arsenal of hits to Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, Virginia, New Jersey, Michigan and more.

After performing her final HEARTFIRST show, Kelsea will then join up with her good friend and ‘half of my hometown’ collaborator, Kenny Chesney, for his 2023 I Go Back tour.

This will see Kelsea performing in front of Kenny's fiercely loyal ‘No Shoes Nation’ fanbase across the country, and attendees will be hoping they team up on-stage for a special rendition of their 2022 CMA-nominated single, ‘half of my hometown’.

Ticket-holders will be curious as to whether Kelsea Ballerini performs any tracks from her recent Rolling Up the Welcome Mat EP. During her recent show in London, UK, the singer-songwriter played two songs from the vulnerable project, ‘Penthouse’ and ‘Leave Me Again’.

Kelsea Ballerini will also be performing alongside country icon, Shania Twain, and Breland for Nashville's annual concert at Geodis Park. Kelsea and Shania will be expected to take the stage together for a performance of their much-loved collaboration, ‘hole in the bottle’.

Before her next slew of shows kicked off, Kelsea performed ‘Penthouse’ on Saturday Night Live on March 4.

Fresh off her musical guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” Kelsea Ballerini is heading right back to the road for 18 more shows.

From March 6 through July 1, the country star will travel all over the country as part of her ongoing ‘Heartfirst Tour.’

The tour, which began in late 2022, had to be extended to the spring and summer due to overwhelming demand.

Soon after, concerts began selling out.

“WELL THIS ESCALATED QUICKLY,” Ballerini gushed on Instagram . “As if i couldn’t have been more excited to get back on the road…you’re selling these out already?! ok brb going to make the show extra special now.”

This time around, she’ll be hitting the northeast when she stops into Atlantic City’s Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on March 17.

And if you need last-minute tickets, they’re surprisingly still available — even for the sold-out shows.

Kenny Chesney’s ‘I Go Back’ Tour

There isn’t just one tour on Ballerini’s 2023 schedule.

This year, she’ll also open for Kenny Chesney on his spring ‘I Go Back Tour’ from March 23 through May 27.

The tour isn’t your typical Chesney trek though.

Rather than hit stadiums, Chesney will hit off the beaten path venues this spring.

“I decided rather than just go repeat what we did on this summer’s stadium tour, I wanted to take this band and these songs to a lot of the cities we played on our way up, call it the I Go Back Tour and do just that,” Chesney shared on  Instagram .

Kelsea Ballerini new music

In October 2022, the 29-year-old released her fourth record “Subject To Change.”

The album mixes country, pop and dance which goes down smooth for hardcore fans and those her are just discovering her catalog with its good-natured lyrics and upbeat tempo changes.

We’re partial to the second track “THE LITTLE THINGS” where Ballerini pays homage to the intangibles in a relationship that make it work like “when her partner puts a hand on her back in a crowded room” or “waiting on her in the morning with a cup of coffee.”

More recently, she dropped the soul-baring, six-song EP “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat.” Both songs from her ‘SNL’ set were from this short offering.

Kelsea Ballerini opening act

Before Ballerini takes the stage, audiences will be treated to up-and-coming singer-songwriter Georgia Webster.

The 20-year-old Massachusetts native first exploded onto the scene after an acoustic version of her single “Tell Your Mom” went viral on TikTok in 2020.

Since then, she’s released two EPs: 2021’s “First Goodbye” and 2022’s “Chapter 1: Things We’re Not Saying.”

Ballerini performed two songs on the March 4 episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ hosted by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

First, she treated the crowd to a rousing edition of her powerful “BLINDSIDED” which can be seen below.

Then, toward the end of the show, Ballerini delivered the stripped-down ballad “Penthouse.”

Both songs are from Ballerini’s 2023 EP “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat.”

Kelsea Ballerini Announces 2022 ‘Heartfirst’ Tour

Kelsea Ballerini will celebrate the release of her new Subject to Change  album in New York City as she begins her 2022 Heartfirst Tour. On Friday (July 22), the " Heartfirst " singer announced a 10-date headlining tour in major cities across America.

The new tour begins on Sept. 24 at Radio City Music Hall and continues through Oct. 14 in Mashantucket, Ct., with stops in Denver, L.A., Atlanta and Boston along the way. Subject to Change — Ballerini's first studio album since she released Kelsea and Ballerini in 2020 — will be available for fans on Sept. 23.

Aside from three dates in late July and early August, the dates on the Heartfirst Tour are Ballerini's only scheduled dates for 2022. Her new album promises 17 songs and a nod to the women of '90s country. " Love Is a Cowboy " is the only other song from the album she's shared with fans ahead of its release.

Kelsea Ballerini Unveils New 'HEARTFIRST Tour' Dates In 2023

Kelsea Ballerini is jumping right in with her heart first — again.

Ballerini is kickstarting her “HEARTFIRST Tour” again this spring, following her previous 10-show trek last year, she announced on Thursday (January 12). The announcement comes after Ballerini seemed to drop a few hints on her social media channels, including an Instagram reel reflecting on her previous tour dates and referencing lyrics to her album’s title track: “ready to keep growin up & showin up together? 👀”

The tour, which includes special guest Georgia Webster , follows the release Ballerini’s latest studio album, Subject To Change , which made its long-awaited debut in September. The 90s country-inspired collection included tons of tracks that quickly became fan-favorite anthems, including the tour’s namesake , “The Little Things,” “Love Is A Cowboy,” “You’re Drunk, Go Home” (a “sassbomb” collaboration with Carly Pearce and Kelly Clarkson ) and others.

Ballerini wrote in September, as she released her 15-track project: “if i’m honest, growing up it kinda hurts like hell…and for me, it sounds like this. internal observations, drunken conversations, diehard friendships, jumping in hopeful, owning the cringe, doing my best, discovering the good stuff isn’t always grandiose, falling on my face, being a show pony, taking inventory of what i have… and ultimately welcoming change when it comes . i’m proud of this record and the story it tells. here’s my last two years, and here’s the turning of a page.”

Ballerini kicked off the first leg of the “HEARTFIRST Tour” on September 24, 2022, right after releasing Subject To Change , in New York. The first 10-city tour also included stops in Boston, Massachusetts; Denver, Colorado; Los Angeles California; Atlanta, Georgia and more. Kelsea Ballerini is returning to Knoxville for special homecoming show

Kelsea Ballerini is coming home ‒ for a special one night only concert in Knoxville, Tennessee at Thompson-Boling Arena.

It's Ballerini's first headlining arena show, organizers say. In promotional images for “The Homecoming Show,” she's got a Vols jacket casually slung over one shoulder.

The country star and Knoxville native, 30, will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 2. Tickets for Kelsea’s fan club go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 13. Tickets for the general public go on sale through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Sept. 15.

Ballerini shared a promotional video on Instagram Tuesday to the tune of her song "Half of My Hometown," featuring fellow Knoxville native Kenny Chesney. In the video, she and her dog Dibs hopped in a truck as they were both decked out in Tennessee memorabilia and explored Knoxville's hotspots before ending at Thompson-Boling Arena.

"Throughout the last decade and four albums, there has been a consistent ode to my hometown. whether it be lyrically like in ‘half of my hometown’ or celebrating milestone moments in venues like my high school, the tennessee theater, or the civic center, it’s always been incredibly important to me to go back to the place that let me go to chase my dream," the country artist captioned the video.

'Blindsided': Kelsea Ballerini performs her Morgan Evans divorce song with new lyric on 'SNL'

She has embraced her East Tennessee roots throughout her career, filming her "Half of My Hometown" video there in 2021 and visiting with her Central High School teachers earlier this year.

Ballerini will likely be performing songs from her re-released EP " Rolling Up The Welcome Mat (For Good) " in August, which delves into her life after the finalization of her 2022 divorce from Australian country singer Morgan Evans .

There is no better place to catch a smorgasbord of concerts by more country artists than you can imagine than CMA Fest.

The annual festival will be held June 6-9, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee.

And, if you want to plan a last-minute road trip and vacation, tickets can still be acquired. Four-day passes and single-night concert tickets are available.

Fans can buy tickets on the festival website and from SeatGeek, Stubhub , Vivid Seats and Ticketmaster.

Artists performing include Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, The War and Treaty, Jordan Davis, Jon Pardi, Old Dominion, Ashley McBryde, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The festival includes performances on seven stages during the day and two at night.

Also, NEEDTOBREATHE, Maddie & Tae, Brett Young, Chapel Hart, Sawyer Brown, Lee Brice, Chayce Beckman, Alana Springsteen, BRELAND, George Birge, Riley Green, Drake Milligan, Ingrid Andress, Restless Road and many more.

A portion of the proceeds from the festival benefit the CMA Foundation “whose mission is to give every child access to quality music education.”

C MA Music Festival is back, bringing over 300 performers to downtown Nashville on multiple stages from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9.

For the 51st year, Nashville will transform the whole city into a concert with a festival that brought nearly 100,000 fans last year .

Stars like Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and hundreds more will take the stage this year.

There will be outdoor performances, lineups at Nissan Stadium and Ascend Amphitheater and a weekend of games and fun. Planned events for the weekend include meet-and-greets with artists at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center and activities lining Nashville's lower Broadway.

When and where is CMA Fest?

CMA Fest is located in downtown Nashville from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9.

There are over nine stages at CMA Fest 2024, all sprinkled around downtown Nashville.

Here's our list of each stage, where they're located, and the kind of performances they will feature:

• Nissan Stadium Main and Platform Stages : The stadium, located at 1 Titans Way, will feature four nights of concerts on its main stage and platform stage—located on the field. Certain performances at this location will be filmed for a special that will air on ABC later in the summer.
• Ascend Amphitheater : The amphitheater, located at 310 1st Ave South, will host three days of performances, Thursday through Saturday.
• CMA Close Up Stage : This indoor stage is located inside Fan Fair X on Level 3 of Music City Center. (Fan Fair X is open 9:30 a.m. CT to 5 p.m. CT Thursday through Saturday and 9:30 a.m. CT to 4 p.m. CT on Sunday. Seating and programming is first come, first served.) This stage will feature Q&As, acoustic performances and interactive experiences.
• CMA Spotlight Stage : This indoor stage is also located inside Fan Fair X. It will feature over 50 acts who will perform acoustic sets.
• Chevy Riverfront Stage : This is the largest daytime stage at CMA Fest. It is located at Riverfront Park, sitting on the bank of the Cumberland River. This stage is free to the public.
• Dr. Pepper Amp Stage : This free stage is at Ascend Park, located behind the amphitheater.
• Chevy Vibes Stage : This free stage is located at Walk of Fame Park, offering daytime performances
• Good Molecules Reverb Stage : This stage is located on the Southwest corner of 5th Avenue and Broadway at Bridgestone Plaza near the Broadway bars.
• Hard Rock Stage : This stage is located at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Nashville and will feature free daily performances from Thursday to Sunday. From Thursday to Saturday, there will also be nightly performances.

Do singers get paid at CMA Fest?

No, artists are not paid to play at CMA Fest. Each artist donates their time to perform at the festival.

The proceeds from the festival go to CMA's non-profit arm, the CMA Foundation , which helps to enrich music education programs across the country.

Is CMA Fest kid friendly?

Yes, CMA Fest is kid friendly.

Babies and children under two years of age can attend CMA Fest without a pass or ticket.

Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde to Host CMA Fest 2024

The summer country music event will air on ABC on June 25 at 8/7c with "never-before-seen performances and surprise collaborations"

Country’s biggest acts are teaming up to present the music event of the summer.

On Monday, June 3, the Country Music Association announced that Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde are set to host CMA Fest 2024, a three-hour primetime concert special filmed during the 51st annual music festival, which will take place in Nashville from June 6-9. The “Save Me” singer, 39, and “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” Grammy winner, 40, will also perform at the Nissan Stadium stage during the festival.

The televised event will air on ABC on Tuesday, June 25 at 8/7c and stream on Hulu the following day. 

This year’s CMA Fest broadcasting special marks the 21st consecutive year that the CMA has produced the exciting summer TV program. It’ll feature “never-before-seen performances and surprise collaborations” from country music’s biggest stars, with additional performances to be revealed soon.

In May, PEOPLE exclusively revealed the lineup of Spotify House performers at CMA Fest , with musicians Luke Bryan , Shaboozey , Dasha , Lady A , Little Big Town , Tyler Hubbard , Brian Kelley and more among the bunch to take the main stage at Nashville's iconic Ole Red venue from June 6-8. 

Other big-name performers listed on the massive CMA Fest 2024 roster are Lainey Wilson , Keith Urban , Thomas Rhett , Carly Pearce , Jon Pardi , Lynyrd Skynyrd , the War and Treaty , Cody Johnson , Bailey Zimmerman , Parker McCollum , Jordan Davis , HARDY , Megan Moroney and tons more. 

In 2023, Wilson, Elle King and Dierks Bentley hosted the CMA Fest as a trio alongside a star-studded lineup to celebrate the festival’s 50th anniversary. Performers like Bryan, Urban, Tim McGraw , Miranda Lambert , Luke Combs and many others hit the stage at various venues across Nashville, treating fans to a one-of-a-kind country takeover.

The first-ever CMA Fest began as the “Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience” in 1972, drawing 5,000 fans to Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Today, the iconic, long-running festival has grown to be Nashville’s signature country music event, hosting tens of thousands of fans from all across the U.S. and 39 international countries.

"I've been touring for over 30 years -- my daughters are all grown, we have one grandchild and one on the way…and I’m enjoying spending more time at home," he continued. "But my fans always show up to have a good time, and I'm going to give them the best show I can for this Last Call."

The press release stresses this is "one final chance" for fans to see Jackson perform for "one final time."

One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, and each dollar will be matched by a group of CMTRF donors.

Charcot-Marie-Tooth, or CMT for short, is a disorder that affects both sensory and motor nerves in the arms, hands, legs and feet, causing them to slowly degenerate and lose the ability to communicate with the rest of the body, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) .

Jackson revealed in 2021 he'd been diagnosed with the genetic disease, for which there is no cure.

Country stars Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde will team up as hosts for ABC’s annual “ CMA Fest ” special, set to be taped at the festival this week and then air on the network June 25. It’s the first time either singer has hosted a prime-time special.

Others booked for sets at the stadium this week and good candidates to make their way to the special include Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson, Kelsea Ballerini, Parker McCollum, the War and Treaty and the currently very hot Shaboozey.

Last year’s special was co-hosted by Lainey Wilson, Dierks Bentley and Elle King. Bentley and King also hosted, sans Wilson, in 2022. The festival did not take place due to COVID in the two years prior to that.

“CMA Fest,” now reaching its 21st year as a broadcast network special, will again be set up for prime time by longtime veterans who’ve helmed multiple CMA awards or festival programs in the past, executive producer Robert Deaton and director Alan Carter.
