I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.”

During her first week of the Celebration Tour at a stop in Antwerp, Belgium, Madonna took a minute to address her recent hospitalization. “Less than four months ago, I was in a hospital and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it,” Madonna told fans at Belgium’s Sportpaleis Arena. “So, it’s a fucking miracle that I’m here right now. My mother, God bless her, she must be watching over me — she said, ‘Girl, it’s not your time to go.'”

Madonna also recently spoke about the “near-death experience” during her Los Angeles concert in March, even addressing her doctor who was in the audience and the first words she said after getting out of her coma .

The icon later told the audience, including this writer, at the Forum, “I’m pretty sure that God was saying to me, ‘You want to come with? You want to come with us, wanna go this way?’ And I said, ‘No!'”

After the massive demand for the 2023 dates, Madonna added several additional stops to the Celebration Tour, which included shows in Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York. Last March, Madonna also announced eight new U.S. dates to the Celebration Tour , with concerts in Washington, D.C., Palm Springs, San Francisco, Vegas, and Nashville, Tennessee, with a portion of proceeds from the show supporting trans-rights organizations.

“The oppression of the LGBTQ+ is not only unacceptable and inhumane; it’s creating an unsafe environment; it makes America a dangerous place for our most vulnerable citizens, especially trans women of color,” Madonna shared in a statement on Instagram. “Also, these so-called laws to protect our children are unfounded and pathetic. Anyone with half a brain knows not to fuck with a drag queen. Bob and I will see you from the stage in Nashville where we will celebrate the beauty that is the queer community.”

With dates scheduled throughout April 2024, Madonna will continue to travel all across the United States for the Celebration Tour , including stops in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Austin.

Madonna announces 2023 tour that will celebrate her greatest hits

Madonna is getting ready to "express herself" all over again with her latest global tour.

"Come join the party! 🎉💃🏼🎵🕺🏾🎤," she captioned the post.

The singer also teased the news in a video that paid tribute to her 1991 film "Truth or Dare." In the four-minute clip, Madonna is joined by several stars, including Amy Schumer, Jack Black, Lil Wayne and Judd Apatow, for a game of truth or dare.

Toward the end, Schumer dares Madonna to go on a tour and sing all of her best hits. It's a challenge that the icon gladly accepts.

"Madonna, I dare you to do a world tour and play your greatest (expletive) hits," Schumer challenges.

Review: Madonna's 'Madame X' concert film is compelling and confounding

What music is Madonna performing during her tour?

The singer will "be highlighting her unmatched catalog of music from the past 40-plus years," according to the announcement. It will also "pay respect to the city of New York, where her career in music began."

"I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for," Madonna says in the announcement.

Some of Madonna’s Hot 100 hits include "Vogue," "Music," "Crazy For You," "Like a Virgin," "Like a Prayer," "Justify My Love," "Live to Tell" and "Papa Don’t Preach."

Madonna covers Vanity Fair 'Icons Issue'

Vanity Fair Italy, France and Spain teamed up for a joint " Icons Issue " featuring Madonna on the cover in honor of her Celebration Tour. When asked about how much her provocative and highly criticized career has cost her, the pop star said she "could answer several billion" dollars , but "the thing it’s cost me the most is loss of sleep and maybe less time spent with people I love – also peace of mind. But I feel that it is a necessary part of the journey I am on and it’s a price I have accepted."

Madonna has pushed boundaries throughout her career, but it's simply reflective of her environment. Vanity Fair Italy called her a pioneer of inclusivity and she seemed resistant to accepting the label. "I am not really sure what it means to say I was one of the first," she said. "The people who supported me were largely members of the LGBTQ+ community and of different ethnicities. That was my support system, so why wouldn’t I in turn support and champion them?"

Madonna discusses her relationship with religion

Madonna's persona and stage name is based on Catholic figure The Madonna or The Virgin Mary, a choice that has been met with backlash since the start of her career. Although she was raised Catholic, she told Vanity Fair that she's never taken criticism to heart. "I thought if the Catholic Church did not perceive my work as an artist as doing something good, then that was their problem and an extension of their narrow mindedness and inability to see that anything that brings people together," Madonna said.

Today, Madonna is "not subscribing to religious groups that are exclusive of others or extremist in any shape," but she does "think it’s important to have ritualistic behavior and a spiritual life."

"My relationship with religion is that I remain very involved in my own spiritual practice and I think it’s imperative for everyone to have a spiritual practice – but I am not defining that for other people," the singer added.

Madonna reveals rescheduled Celebration tour dates for 2024 after bacterial infection

Bob the Drag Queen will accompany Madonna for the new set of dates.

madonna new tour tickets

There's finally a ray of light at the end of Madonna 's health scare, as the pop icon has revealed her rescheduled Celebration tour dates after suffering an infection in June.

After postponing the first leg of her Celebration world tour amid hospitalization in the intensive care unit , the 64-year-old revealed Tuesday that the initial North American portion of the concert series will now take place in early 2024, kicking off on Jan. 8 in Massachusetts and concluding on April 21 in Mexico.

Scheduling conflicts, however, forced the cancellation of several dates, including July 27 in Tulsa, Dec. 22 in Nashville, Jan. 15 in San Francisco, Jan. 18 in Las Vegas, and Jan. 20 in Phoenix.

Madonna also moved a summer date originally set for Aug. 27 at New York City's Madison Square Garden to a block of previously announced December 2023 dates at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Fans holding tickets to the previously scheduled Madison Square Garden concert will have "an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to the newly added Barclays Center performance," according to a press release, which also notes that tickets for the original show will be refunded by Monday, Aug. 28. Ticketmaster is expected to send affected purchasers with a link and a code based on their earlier seat locations. The advance sale begins Tuesday, Aug. 29 and runs through Thursday, Aug. 31. A similar system will be used for fans with tickets to the postponed Crypto.com Arena shows in Los Angeles.

All other tickets from the original shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates.

The postponed dates come two months after Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, revealed that the superstar contracted a "serious bacterial infection" that prompted her to delay the highly anticipated tour, which EW has confirmed will still embark with special guest, RuPaul's Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen .

"On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected," he said in a statement. "At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows."

Amid statements of support from friends like Debi Mazar and Rosie O'Donnell , Madonna gave fans an update on her health via an emotional social media post in July.

"Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life," she wrote on Instagram . "My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn't want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone."

Madonna opening act

On the “Celebration Tour” run, Madonna has tapped famed drag queen, comedian, actor, activist, musician, and reality TV personality Bob The Drag Queen to serve as her opening act.

Not familiar with Bob?

Well, you may want to start with her rise to prominence on the eighth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2016 where she was crowned the winner.

In the years since, you may have seen Bob in “High Maintenance” (2016), “Tales of the City” (2019), “A Black Lady Sketch Show” (2019) and the 2020 series “We’re Here,” which she co-hosted.

Of course, Bob sings too.

Her single “Purse First” charted at number 43 on the U.S. Dance charts.

Madonna tour postponement

The ‘Celebration Tour’ was originally set to get underway in Canada this past July.

However, Madonna was hospitalized in June after developing a series of bacterial infections.

After a month of care, she took to  Instagram  to share an update on her recovery.

“My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!”

’80s stars on tour in 2024

While Madonna may be the face of the ’80s, many other icons from the decade of excess will be running victory laps in 2023 when they take their hits on the road.

Here are just five of our favorites you won’t want to miss.

•  Stevie Nicks

•  Rick Springfield with Richard Marx

• Foreigner with Styx

• Journey with Def Leppard

Madonna is wrapping up her current concert tour over the next few days with a trilogy of shows in Mexico City. Prices have been climbing over recent days, so you'll have to be sharp if you want to buy Madonna tickets for these dates while you can for the The Celebration Tour.

Before she takes her final bow of the Celebration Tour concert series in April 2024, Madonna will have performed 52 shows across 27 cities in the US, Canada, and Mexico. While many dates earlier in the tour were available for under $100, these final dates will cost you at least $245 at the time of writing. Still, it's a few grand cheaper than the Swifties have been paying this year.

With the concert series being a retrospective celebration of her iconic career, The Celebration Tour's setlist unsurprisingly includes plenty of Madonna's timeless hits. Songs like "Like a Prayer," "Vogue," "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," and "Like a Virgin" have been performed across various dates on her tour.

We've got you covered if you're still looking for tickets to Madonna's Celebration Tour. Here's our breakdown of Madonna's remaining 2024 tour schedule, purchasing details, and original and resale ticket prices. You can also browse the available tickets for sale on StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

How to buy tickets for Madonna's 2024 concert tour

Madonna tickets have been on sale for a while now, so all original ones via Ticketmaster are long gone.

However, Madonna tickets are still available through verified resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats .

How much do Madonna tickets cost?

The price for standard original tickets to Madonna's 2024 tour varies depending on date, location, and demand. For example, concert dates in major cities like New York City tend to be more expensive.

Standard original tickets still available on Ticketmaster a few weeks ago  were comparable to prices on verified resale platforms. However, the remaining original tickets have all been snapped up though, so resale vendors are your only hope now.

The Celebration Tour originally had VIP tickets available for premium prices. Madonna's 2024 concert series had The Immaculate VIP Package, Iconic VIP Package), You Can Dance Premium Ticket Package, and Where's The Party Premium Ticket Package. The prices for original tickets for each package on Ticketmaster started at $1,750, $895, $545, and $475, respectively.

Who is opening for Madonna's tour?

Madonna has not announced any additional opening acts for her 2024 concert dates. However, the artist is joined by Bob the Drag Queen, a special guest in each of her shows, who helps introduce the concert and interacts with Madonna as the emcee.

Madonna's 2024 tour began with the international leg in Europe, so the only remaining concerts in The Celebration Tour outside the United States are in Mexico.

In April, she'll have five performances in Mexico City, where she'll take her final bow of The Celebration Tour on April 26.

Madonna cancels US tour dates, including Phoenix. What to know about refunds

madonna new tour tickets

Madonna has postponed the fall North American dates of her Celebration Tour, which was supposed to bring the Queen of Pop to Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on July 22, 2023, as she continues to recover from a health scare that landed her in a New York City hospital's intensive care unit.

The July 22 concert is canceled and a rescheduled date will be announced. A second Footprint Center concert date on Jan. 20, 2024, is not affected by the rescheduling.

Madonna shared the news on Instagram, thanking fans for their positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement.

"I have felt your love," she wrote. "I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all my blessings in life."

Update: Madonna pauses Celebration Tour concerts after 'health scare.' Here's what we know so far

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

Why did Madonna postpone her tour?

Madonna's Celebration Tour was set to launch in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Saturday, July 15, a week before the July 22 date in Phoenix.

The current plan is to reschedule the fall North American leg of the tour and begin in October in Europe.

"My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I'll be back with you as soon as I can," Madonna wrote. "I couldn't be more grateful for your care and support."

Madonna refunds? Live Nation advises fans to hold onto their tickets

Live Nation has confirmed that the first leg of the Celebration Tour in North America has been postponed. This affects all shows currently scheduled between July 15 and Oct. 8, 2023.

Rescheduled dates will be announced as soon as possible. Fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets as they will be valid for the new dates.

The standard Ticketmaster refund policy is in effect. Once a new date is announced, or if new dates aren't announced within 60 days, fans will be able to request refunds.

Why was Madonna in the hospital?

Guy Oseary, the singer’s talent manager and producer, shared the news on social media last month that Madonna had developed "a serious bacterial infection" on Saturday, June 24, which led to "a several-day stay in the ICU."

A Page Six article reported that the singer "was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital Saturday," where she "was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed — and she is now alert and recovering."

In her IG post, Madonna wrote, "My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour."

Phoenix dates for Madonna's Celebration Tour

The show originally scheduled for July 22 at Footprint Center is one of two Phoenix concerts on the Celebration Tour. Due to popular demand, a second show was added at Footprint Center on Jan. 20, 2024.

Madonna announced the 35-date tour in a star-studded video paying tribute to her “Truth or Dare” film, with cameos by Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Bob the Drag Queen, Kate Berlant, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter and Eric Andre.

The video culminates with Amy Schumer daring Madonna to go on tour and perform her four decades of hits.

Madonna rises to the challenge, announcing Madonna: The Celebration, which takes fans on a journey through her greatest hits while paying homage to the city where her career began: New York.

In a press release, Madonna said, “I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for.”

Madonna Scores Highest-Grossing Tour of 2024 So Far as Live Music Growth Settles Down

Madonna has the highest-grossing worldwide tour of 2024 thus far, according to Pollstar's mid-year report , thanks to the success of her "Celebration Tour." With average ticket prices of $208.85, the pop icon had an average gross of $2,794,007 with 13,378 average tickets sold, making for a total of 856,247 in ticket sales across 34 reported shows out of 65 dates.

Bad Bunny trails closely behind Madonna with $174.6 million from his "Most Wanted Tour," while Luis Miguel follows him with $169.4 million, U2 ranks at No. 4 with $135 million from the band's Sphere residency and Karol G rounds out the top five with $111 million. The top 10 continues with Bruno Mars ($102 million), Coldplay ($100 million), Seventeen ($74 million), Eagles ($69 million) and Nicki Minaj ($66 million).

Pollstar's mid-year report examines the industry on a wider scale, and after several years of record-setting ticket sales in the post-pandemic touring boom, the growth of live music has settled down in the first half of 2024. There were no major surges or declines in percentage differences compared to years prior. In 2023, overall gross was 51.1 percent higher than in 2022, and was 64.7 percent higher in average gross per show. But in 2024, there were no spikes larger than 17 percent, or decreases beyond 15 percent.

On a macro scale, overall global gross in 2024 topped $3 billion for the first time, up from $2.83 billion in 2023. Last year had exponential growth over 2022, which touted a global gross of $1.87 billion. Average gross in 2024 was slightly down from last year, with $1.37 million versus $1.47 million, while ticket sales remained nearly the same (24.1 million in 2024 versus 24.3 million in 2023). Average ticket prices increased from $116 to $127 year over year, even though average tickets sold per show dipped from 12,655 to 10,767.

In North America, Bad Bunny topped the total gross tally with $174.6 million. Madonna sits behind him with $148 million, followed by U2 ($135 million), Luis Miguel ($100 million) and Eagles ($69 million). Overall gross in the region totaled $2.33 billion, a boost of 18.7 percent over last year's $1.96 billion. Total tickets sold was up 17.6 million compared to 2023's 16.32 million, while average number of tickets sold dipped from 2023's 9,071 to 8,252.

The report comes amid a year of strong ticket sales contrasted by reports of major artists canceling their tours. In the past few months, the Black Keys nixed their international arena tour , while Jennifer Lopez followed suit in the wake of rebranding her tour from focusing on her new album to a greatest hits show.

Madonna emerges in the midst of ongoing legal battle with bold new photos — see here

The "vogue" singer was sued over concert delays during the celebration tour.

Madonna is currently still dealing with an ongoing legal battle as the case of a lawsuit filed against her back in January continues.

Concertgoers Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden sued the singer, 65, earlier this year for starting her concert, part of the Celebration Tour , more than two hours after the slated start time of 8:30 PM.

Per the suit, which was also filed against Barclays Center and Live Nation for the show held December 13 in NYC, the singer was accused of "false advertising, negligent misrepresentation, and unfair and deceptive trade practices."

They also allege that the late start time made it difficult for fans to "get up early to go to work" the following day. Two other suits were subsequently also filed against Madonna for the same reasons, one from an attendee of a show in Washington D.C., and another from an attendee in Los Angeles.

However, in the midst of all this, Madonna has remained silent on the matters (possibly for legal reasons), but did return to social media on Monday with a slew of new photos after latest updates.

Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Madonna had responded to the class action lawsuit by stating through her lawyers that true fans would know that her concerts often start later than advertised.

David Banda and Madonna perform during The Celebration Tour at The O2 Arena on October 15, 2023 in London, England.

Legal documents obtained by the publication read: "If a fan is familiar enough with Madonna's concert history to know her performances run for two hours and fifteen minutes, that fan would surely know that Madonna typically takes the stage well after the ticketed event time (after an opening act, set transition, and so on) and plays late into the night."

With the response, the singer's legal team made a motion to dismiss the suit. Later this month, the plaintiffs in the case then told the judge that a settlement had been reached between the parties involved.

However, soon after, her lawyers filed to strike the notion of a settlement from the record, per TMZ , claiming that while settlement talks were ongoing, one had not definitively been reached between the singer or Live Nation.

A "False Notice of Settlement" was filed by Madonna's team, and in a hearing earlier this week, a judge sided with her legal team, agreeing that a clear settlement had not been reached and chalking it up to miscommunication.

The settlement notice was officially struck from the records and the case will proceed as before, with the plaintiffs now having until July to respond to her motion to dismiss the suit.

Madonna has been earning new platinum and gold plaques left and right in the U.S. this year. The pop icon has collected a handful of honors recently, as her fans continue to buy and stream the hits that made her a household name. For at least the third time in a month, one of her smashes has snagged a special, shiny award.

"Into the Groove" has been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). The single earns its first award from the organization, which has now confirmed that the title has reached the lowest level of certification…a long time after it was released.

In the U.S. songs and albums hit gold status once the RIAA can certify that they’ve shifted 500,000 units. Titles then advance to platinum once they hit one million copies. Beyond that, multi-platinum and diamond status await.

"Into the Groove" was released in 1985 as a single from the movie Desperately Seeking Susan ’s soundtrack. It was also included on a reissue of the singer’s own album Like a Virgin — which, of course, produced the song of the same name.

While it’s remembered as an early smash by Madonna, "Into the Groove" never reached the Hot 100. The chart was calculated differently at the time, and based on how the song was released, it didn’t make the cut. That hasn’t stopped it from going gold, even if it took nearly 40 years.

"Into the Groove" is one of Madonna’s more than 20 gold-certified singles in the U.S. She’s seen at least half a dozen tracks advance to the platinum echelon as well, including several recent wins.

In just the past month, two of Madonna’s tracks have landed platinum certifications. On June 11, "Papa Don’t Preach" finally collected that honor–also decades after it first was unleashed onto the world.

Less than a week ago, "Popular" was named a platinum hit by the RIAA. That song helped revitalize Madonna’s career last year when it was released by The Weeknd. The tune was created for his TV show The Idol, and while the program didn’t live for very long, several of the cuts he crafted for it led healthy lives. "Popular" was fronted by the Canadian talent, and it features both Madonna and Playboy Carti.

When is Glastonbury, who’s on the lineup and can you still get tickets?

Coldplay, dua lipa and sza are headlining the pyramid stage at worthy farm this year, while shania twain will take on the coveted legends slot, article bookmarked.

Glastonbury , the world’s most famous music festival, returns this week and will see thousands of fans flocking to Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Co-organiser Emily Eavis and her team are preparing to welcome revellers to the site and play host to some of the biggest artists across pop, rock, indie, R&B, rap, punk and soul.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the big weekend.

When is Glastonbury 2024?

The gates to Glastonbury Festival 2024 will open at around 8am Wednesday 26 June, with the event running until Sunday 30 June. The majority of the live music performances take place between 29-30 June, with many of them also shown on TV.

A word of warning: there is no entertainment or facilities in the Glastonbury car parks, and guests are expected to remain in their cars until the festival gates open. Car parks will be open from 9pm on Tuesday 25 June, allowing festival-goers to avoid the worst of the traffic and arrive through the night.

Who’s playing Glastonbury this year?

Dua Lipa is headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2024

After months of speculation and rumours that several bookings had fallen through, this year’s festival will be headlined by Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA , while country-pop superstar Shania Twain will take on the Legends Slot.

It was rumoured that Madonna was a strong contender to headline, as Eavis has previously expressed her desire to have the pop icon play the Pyramid Stage. However, The Independent understands that negotiations collapsed due to various requirements from the “Hung Up” star’s team, including the estimated cost of putting on a show that would match her 2024 Celebration tour.

Other rumoured artists in the running were Stevie Nicks, Cher and Stevie Wonder.

Other artists on the lineup include Avril Lavigne, Cyndi Lauper, Little Simz, Seventeen, Idles, The Last Dinner Party, Camila Cabello, Burna Boy, London Grammar, PJ Harvey, Janelle Monae, Fat White Family, Sugababes, Fatboy Slim, Michael Kiwanuka, Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club, Jessie Ware and Paloma Faith.

Are there any Glastonbury 2024 tickets left and how much do they cost?

A reveller sings along as Lewis Capaldi performs on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2023

The Glastonbury resale took place in April and, due to typically high demand, sold out in just 22 minutes. The cost of getting into the 2024 festival was £360 per person including the booking fee, up from £340 last year.

Eavis justified the hike last year in a statement that said: “We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, while still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of Covid.”

Are there any other ways to get into Glastonbury festival?

Besides the general resale, another great way to get into Glastonbury is by volunteering. Registration to volunteer for charities WaterAid and Oxfam has closed, but spaces do occasionally become available if people drop out.

Greenpeace also offers free entry to the festival and three meals a day to volunteers. In return, you are expected to work a minimum of five eight-hour shifts during the festival between 25 June and 1 July. However, applications for 2024 are now also closed.

Neil Young Cancels Remainder of Crazy Horse Tour, Including Hollywood Bowl and Ohana Fest

Neil Young

Neil Young announced Wednesday that the remaining dates on the tour he has been doing with his longtime backing group Crazy Horse are being canceled, due to illness hitting “a couple of us” since they last performed in May. He did not specify whether he was among those stricken.

The cancellations are for shows as far as three months out from now. Affected are the seven Canadian shows Young had lined up in July, plus three U.S. shows he had scheduled for late September, at the Hollywood Bowl, southern California’s Eddie Vedder-driven Ohana Fest and Kentucky’s Bourbon & Beyond Festival.

“The Love Earth Tour has been a great experience for us so far,” Young’s message to fans began. “GREAT AUDIENCES AND MUSIC. WE HAVE HAD A BLAST!”

He continued, “When a couple of us got sick after Detroit’s Pine Knob, we had to stop. We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break. We will try to play some of the dates we miss as time passes when we are ready to rock again! We know many of you made travel plans and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding and patience.”

Young concluded, “Health is # 1…. We want to stay and do more shows and more albums for you…. and for for us…. With love and thanks to all of you from Crazy Horse….. Neil, Micah, Ralph and Billy… Love Earth.”

While Young did not specify which bandmembers are ill, at a concert in New York last month , Crazy Horse’s rhythm section — bassist Billy Talbot and drummer Ralph Molina, both 80 — seemed to be having challenges keeping up with the physical demands of the two-hour set, with many of the songs being played at slower tempos than their studio recordings.

As of this writing, Ticketmaster still has tickets up for sale for the Hollywood Bowl show, but the disappearance of the event from multiple pages on the Bowl website seems to confirm it has gone away with the other shows. No one will be blaming these cancellations on poor sales, at least: A seating chart still up for the Bowl concert shows seats only remaining in the very back.

A rep for Ohana Fest pointed to a statement on social media that reads: “We are sad to announce that Neil Young with Crazy Horse will no longer be performing at Ohana Festival 2024. Please stay tuned for a lineup update coming as soon as possible; in the meantime, we are wishing the band a speedy recovery.” Bourbon & Beyond posted a similar message saying to “stay tuned for a replacement announcement.”

Young fans saddened by the cancellations can at least console themselves with an eagerly awaited album release coming on Friday, “Early Daze,” a collection of previously unreleased recordings that Young made with Crazy Horse in 1969.
