Transatlantic and Transpacific Cruises

CRUISE FROM CONTINENT TO CONTINENT

Transatlantic & transpacific cruises.

Reposition your view of paradise with a transatlantic or transpacific cruise.

Have you ever thought of traversing an entire ocean from coast to coast? You can go further than you ever thought possible on a transatlantic cruise, crossing the waves between the U.S. and Europe. Departing from Florida, Barcelona, Southampton and Copenhagen, these cruises include both tropical and cultural island stops, in ports such as the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Greenland and Iceland. Meanwhile, transpacific cruises go from Sydney to the U.S., with plenty of white-sand-beach-filled South Pacific ports in between. Take in sweeping views of the Pacific while stopping in exotic ports to see the secluded beaches of Vanuatu or the volcanic vistas of Hawaii.

PREPARE FOR THE PACIFIC

From Sydney to either  Honolulu  or Seattle, be prepared to cross hemispheres and visit the best (and most beautiful) South Pacific islands.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO The Best Time to Cruise

For transatlantic cruises, the best time to set sail is either spring and fall, when the weather is still warm but prices are more affordable. However, transpacific cruises are recommended during the Southern Hemisphere's winter, from May to October. This is because summer is the South Pacific's cyclone season.

Remember to pack for all weather conditions, as you will have warm summery port days, as well as cooler nights at sea. On transpacific cruises, you'll also cross hemispheres, so may need clothing for summer and winter conditions if cruising from  Sydney  to  Seattle

Although most Pacific and Caribbean islands have different currencies, many ports accept Australian or American dollars, and larger cities will also accept credit cards.

Consider bringing your own snorkeling equipment and reef boots to save on rental fees, if you're planning on snorkeling at multiple destinations.

With so many days at sea, try something new onboard, but also bring your own entertainment — whether that's an e-reader or a good book.

FOR THE FOODIE'S CROSS-COUNTRY CUISINES

From Australia to the Azores, transatlantic and transpacific cruises expose you to several cuisines, including Caribbean, American and Pacific Islander. From fast-food favorites to rice-based comfort food, here are a few must-try foods.

Meat Pies from Australia

AUSSIE MEAT PIES

Found in bakeries and convenience stores, Australians love their savory meat pies. Visit the iconic Harry's Cafe de Wheels in Sydney and tuck into one of their flaky pies filled with curried beef or chicken with a side of classic mushy peas.

Traditional Lunch from Hawaii

PILE UP YOUR PLATE

Plate lunches are very popular in Hawaii, and traditionally feature scoops of white rice, macaroni salad and a meat-based entree like succulent kalua pig or a lau lau pork, with a smoky taste from its preparation in an underground oven.

Traditional Cuban Sandwich from Florida

FLORIDIAN FOOD

Tuck into some popular Floridian dishes before your transatlantic cruise departs. Savor a salty, satisfying Cuban sandwich piled high with pork and pickles. Try a Bahamian-inspired conch fritter, and key lime pie for dessert.

Related Ports

In the South Pacific, paradisal ports include Vanuatu, Fiji, French Polynesia and New Caledonia. In the Caribbean, choose from ports like the Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti and Antigua. Ocean Voyager Review

Review of ocean voyager.

The 2001-built Ocean Voyager cruise ship (fka "MS Victory I"/until 2021, and "MS Saint Laurent" until 2015) was initially owned by the company Haimark Line (subsidiary of the luxury river cruisetour operator Haimark Travel). Haimark declared bankruptcy in the end of 2015. Currently, the ship is owned by Clipper Group and chartered to AQSC/American Queen Voyages . Launched in 2016, this new cruise brand operates itineraries on the Great Lakes (USA and Canada) during summer, and to Caribbean roundtrips from Florida (during fall and winter months).

After resuming service in 2022 (following the 2-year hiatus due to the Coronavirus crisis) the boat was renamed from "Victory 1" to "Ocean Voyager".

From the same series (sistership) is the fleetmate Ocean Navigator (formerly Victory 2, Cape Cod Light, Sea Discoverer). Both were built in resemblance to the traditional American coastal steamboats of the late-19th century. They both started operations on itineraries on the Great Lakes, Canadian Maritime, East Coast USA and Southern USA.

The vessel (IMO number 9213129) is currently Bahamas- flagged (MMSI 311050400) and registered in Nassau .

Later in 2024, the ship will be renamed "Victory I" and reflagged to the USA.

History - construction and ownership

The 210-passenger ship Ocean Voyager was launched in 2001 (as "Cape May Light") by Atlantic Marine (shipyard Jacksonville Florida / now BAE Systems Southeast Florida). The vessel was originally built for Great Lakes Cruises (USA-based company) and designated for expedition voyages with itineraries in Central and South America.

Ocean Voyager cruise ship (MS Victory I/Saint Laurent)

The ship (originally named "Clipper Voyager") was ordered by the Copenhagen Denmark -based company Clipper Group AS. The company specializes in marine shipping, cruise shipping, and also car and passenger ferries . The vessel was operated under charter by Haimark Line - specializing in small ship expedition cruise touring. Before entering service for Haimark, the vessel was extensively refurbished in Charleston SC .

The vessel's last charterer was the Copenhagen -based company Albatros Travel, which specializes in polar expedition cruises and tours. The company Cruise Management International Inc provided deck and engine management, while the sister-company CMI Leisure Management Inc handled the onboard hotel operations.

MS Saint Laurent ship's inaugural cruise for Haimark was on May 30, 2015, leaving from homeport Montreal Canada . Before the launch, Haimark Line invested USD 3,5 million for an extensive drydock refurbishment of all interior spaces. Then the ship was renamed from "Cape May Light". Unfortunately, on June 18, 2015, with all 274 people on board, the St Laurent cruise ship collided with the concrete wall bumper of Eisenhower Lock ( Saint Lawrence Seaway ) located near Massena NY. The number of injured was 21.

In April 2016 was announced that vessel's operator Haimark Line Ltd had cancelled all scheduled voyages. All booked Haimark customers were refunded, but the company didn't provide reimbursement for air travel payments, hotels or other expenses that don't constitute water transportation or related services. Booked travelers who have previously obtained a refund from their travel insurance or credit card issuer were not eligible.

In November 2018, American Queen Voyages (AQSC) signed an agreement to purchase the brand "Victory Cruise Line", as well as its chartered (from Sunstone Ships) vessels. Victory Cruise Line has a separate fleet and management and operates as a subsidiary company of AQSC/AQV.

Following the bankruptcy of Hornblower Group in 2024 (February), American Queen Voyages was placed for sale. Hornblower was sold to Strategic Value Partners and announced reorganization plans, focusing on its other subsidiaries. In April 2024, both AQV's coastal ships (Ocean Navigator and Ocean Voyager) were auctioned and sold for a total of US$1,901,000 (or US$950,500 per vessel) to John Waggoner (AQSC's  Founder). The backup bidder (US$1,801 million) was Ship Management Group LLC. In May, the new shipowner announced that following a drydock refurbishment period, both boats would be chartered to/start services for the restored Victory Cruise Lines. Under their previous names - Victory I (Ocean Voyager) and Victory II (Ocean Navigator)- both would be deployed on the Great Lakes.

Ocean Voyager Wiki

In 2015 Haimark Line invested USD 3,5 million for the refurbishment of the "Cape May Light" ship and renamed it to "MS Saint Laurent". The ship was previously operating also under the names "Clipper Voyager" and "Sea Voyager". The vessel was built in 2001 for the USA line Great Lakes Cruises, which specialized in expedition voyages in Central and South America.

On May 30, 2015, after changing its name from "Cape May Light", the ship started its inaugural season for the Haimark Line with 10-day Canada to USA "Inaugural Cruise" (itinerary May 30 to June 8) leaving from Montreal Quebec to Portland Maine .

Soon after the collision accident (June 18, 2015), Haimark Line filed for bankruptcy. In June 2016 was announced that Victory Cruise Line intends to rename the vessel to "MS Victory I" and start operations with departures from Montreal (Quebec, Canada) to ports in Canada and Great Lakes (USA). The inaugural cruise was scheduled for July 8. Also were announced further plans for Florida to Cuba cruise itineraries.

Ship's first scheduled Cuba cruise was a 7-day / 6-night itinerary round-trip from Port Canaveral (Orlando) Florida (departure Oct 28, 2016). Ship's winter 2016-2017 itinerary program included 3-day to 14-day roundtrips to Cuba out of Miami (through April 2017).

On April 19, 2018, was boat's maiden call at PortMiami, which started Victory Cruise Line's Cuba program. On board were hosted ship tours for travel agents and sales seminar. The inaugural Cuban cruise was on April 20 (themed "Cuba 360" / circumnavigation itinerary). The 15-night roundtrip visited Cuba's 4 main seaports and featured 3 overnights in Havana. The repositioning cruise back to Canada was scheduled for May 5. In 2019 (January through April) were scheduled 13-14-night roundtrips from Miami to Cuba.

In mid-November 2018, the shipowner AQSC (now American Queen Voyages) announced an agreement to acquire the brand "Victory Cruise Line", that includes purchasing its two chartered (Sunstone Ships-owned) vessels Victory I (2001-built) and Ocean Navigator (2004-built). To AQSC fleet was also added the newbuild Ocean Victory (2021) - Sunstone-owned vessel operated under charter. All the 3 ships stay in a separate fleet - under the "Victory Cruise Line" brand. Transaction terms (and price) were not disclosed. The acquisition deal was closed in mid-January 2019.

Royal Caribbean cuts Icon of the Seas' trip a stop early and cancels its upcoming voyage. Here's why

By Steve Maugeri

September 28, 2024 / 9:04 PM EDT / CBS Miami

MIAMI — The Icon of the Seas encountered some issues during its recent voyage, forcing the world's largest cruise liner to miss a stop and return to the Port of Miami. And though the ship was scheduled to depart on another trip on Saturday, Royal Caribbean canceled that as well.

The reason: maintenance.

Passenger Greg, who is from Alabama, told CBS News Miami that his trip on the Icon of the Seas couldn't make the trip to St. Thomas and instead stayed at sea before later docking in Miami.

"We had to go a little bit slower than normal," he said. "But we still enjoyed the cruise it was fantastic but we missed out on St. Thomas."

A Royal Caribbean spokesperson told CBS News Miami in statement that the ship returned to the docks because it needed "unplanned maintenance."

Because of that maintenance, the cruise line had to cancel a seven-day trip that was set to depart later Saturday. The ship is expected to stay in Miami for repairs.

"It's unfortunate," said would-be passenger Mel Copeland. "These things happen. We don't hold any grudges."

Copeland was planning on leaving on that seven-day cruise. He had been planning this trip for 18 months; but now, he will end his adventure in the Magic City.

"We know people that come here for a holiday and only come here. We're pretty fortunate," Copeland said.

Royal Caribbean's spokesperson said that they have apologized for the inconvenience and have been communicating with guests directly, adding that they'll refund a day's worth of cruise charges for customers who didn't make it to St. Thomas.

The customers who were on Saturday's canceled trip will also get a full refund and a credit they can use towards another cruise.

The 13 best solo cruises for 2025 (no supplement fare).

Set sail for a solo adventure at sea.

The Best Solo Cruises

A woman in a sunbonnet relaxes on a chair facing the sea on the top deck of a cruise ship.

Whether you're considering your first solo cruise or you've embarked on many solo cruises before, single travelers will find more options than ever. Many cruise lines offer single staterooms with the same amenities as other cabins, at a price similar to what you'd pay with double occupancy fares. You'll also find special promotions where the single supplement fee is reduced or waived, making it more affordable to reserve a spacious stateroom or luxurious suite with even more amenities – including personalized butler service, an added perk of booking with many luxury lines .

If you're ready for a maritime adventure, an extended vacation or simply a quick getaway from home, these top cruise lines offer some of the best options for solo travelers on waterways around the world.

Find your perfect cruise

Lines that waive single supplement fares

Launched in 2010, Norwegian Epic was the first cruise ship in the industry to feature studio accommodations for solo travelers. Norwegian Cruise Line now offers nearly 1,000 solo staterooms across the 19 ships in its fleet, including three new solo stateroom categories: Solo Inside, Solo Oceanview and Solo Balcony. The Studio Staterooms are the smallest accommodations, at an average size of 100 square feet, and are designed and priced with the solo traveler in mind. They have no single supplements – and studio rooms on board Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Encore even boast virtual windows. The other solo category rooms are priced based on the destination and availability, but the fares will be lower than a regular double occupancy room.

Guests of all solo stateroom categories have access to the private Studio Lounge. In this exclusive space, you can socialize with other solo travelers and enjoy complimentary refreshments. There are also singles meetups throughout the voyage and plenty of fun-filled onboard activities to mingle with like-minded cruisers. Solo travelers can check out all the fun for singles on Norwegian Viva this winter on a cruise to the Caribbean , or in spring 2025 as the ship sets sail for the Greek Isles and the Mediterranean . Norwegian Aqua, set to debut in April 2025, will also offer all the solo stateroom categories. The new ship will depart roundtrip from Port Canaveral, Florida, to the Caribbean from April 2025 to August 2025 and then from New York to Bermuda from August 2025 through October 2025.

MSC Cruises

A woman sips a drink and looks at the ocean on her stateroom patio of an MSC Cruises cruise ship.

MSC Cruises offers interior and balcony solo cabins for single cruisers on its Meraviglia-class ships: the MSC Meraviglia, Bellissima, Grandiosa, Virtuosa and the newest vessel in the fleet, MSC Euribia. The second-newest ship, MSC World Europa, has 28 cabins – 10 Studio Interior and 18 Studio Ocean View staterooms – designed specifically for solo travelers. MSC World America, the sister ship to MSC World Europa, is set to debut in April 2025, and will also feature the same number of solo studio staterooms.

During voyages with MSC Cruises , single cruisers are invited to a complimentary, hosted cocktail party to mix and mingle with other solo travelers. The daily program is also an excellent source to discover additional activities, entertainment and opportunities to meet other cruisers. You'll have onboard special events like a Beer Festival and the themed White Party, where the ship is decked out in festive white decor and guests don their best white attire. In addition, there are various sports tournaments, or you can show off your culinary expertise during a MasterChef competition.

Many of MSC's cruise itineraries departing from Miami, Port Canaveral and New York City feature late night or overnight visits to Ocean Cay, the line's private island and marine reserve in the Bahamas . While there, singles can participate in fun-filled evening activities like a Champagne Sunset Cruise or a glow paddleboarding excursion in the lagoon, then attend the lively Luna Libre Party and the lighthouse show.

Holland America Line

Interior of Single Stateroom on Holland America Line's Rotterdam ship.

Michel Verdure | Courtesy of Holland America Line

Three of Holland America Line's newest ships each offer 12 solo cabins to accommodate single travelers: the Pinnacle-class Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam and Koningsdam. These ocean-view staterooms range in size from 127 to 172 square feet and feature the same amenities as the double occupancy cabins but with a full-size bed. The cruise line's Single Staterooms are priced for one person. If a guest chooses to book a different stateroom, single supplements for double occupancy cabins are as much as 100% over the standard fare, depending on the voyage and the cabin category.

Long committed to solo travelers, the line offers many activities where guests can meet other singles such as wine tastings, cocktail mixers, exercise classes, daily quizzes, sports challenges and more. If you're a solo traveler and a member of AARP, Holland America provides exclusive cruise benefits to AARP's members. Solo cruisers will have access to an AARP member-only onboard credit that ranges from $50 to $200, depending on the itinerary and stateroom category.

For itineraries, Holland America's Alaska cruises and cruisetours are perfect for solo travelers, offering many opportunities to connect with fellow passengers. Another favorite for singles is the line's fall voyages sailing from Boston to Québec City or Montreal.

Royal Caribbean International

Royal Caribbean International features studio staterooms on select ships that range in size from 101 to 199 square feet. These solo accommodations include interior rooms, virtual balcony staterooms and a super studio ocean view stateroom with a balcony. The cabins do not carry the single supplement fee singles encounter when booking other types of staterooms, making them an attractive option when traveling alone.

Once on board the ship, solo cruisers will have countless options to engage and socialize with other travelers. When it comes to dining with Royal Caribbean , make a reservation at the Japanese restaurant Teppanyaki for an entertaining meal with new friends, or join fellow foodies for the intimate Chef's Table experience (the dining venues vary by ship). Singles can also participate in onboard activities like trivia contests, drink seminars, escape rooms, dance classes, pool parties and themed nights like a 70s party, masquerade ball or Black and White Night.

If you need more thrills to stay busy and to meet people, Royal Caribbean's ships feature world-class shows and entertainment alongside adrenaline-pumping rides and attractions. If you're sailing in the Caribbean on the new Icon of the Seas, there are plenty of opportunities to meet and chat with the other 5,610 passengers (at double occupancy) on the ship and at the line's private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Atlas Ocean Voyages

Luxury line Atlas Ocean Voyages offers single cruisers 183 square feet of beautifully appointed space in solo accommodations that come without single supplement fees. These ocean-view staterooms feature a queen bed, a panoramic picture window, a private spa bathroom with a rain shower and body jets, a stocked minifridge replenished daily with personal favorites and other luxurious amenities. Single guests can also book other stateroom or suite categories with single supplements starting at 50% of the double occupancy price.

The line's three intimate yacht-style cruise ships – World Navigator, World Traveller and the new World Voyager – are all-inclusive and offer year-round polar, epicurean and cultural expeditions to exciting destinations around the globe. Meals at all the dining venues, premium beverages and wines, gratuities, culturally immersive excursions and more are included in the fare. With fewer than 200 cruisers on board, there's an atmosphere of conviviality on these ships – especially when exploring remote destinations with like-minded and adventurous travelers during expeditions in Antarctica and the Arctic.

Celebrity Cruises' Edge-class ships offer some of the best options for solo cruisers. The line's newest vessels, Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Ascent, each boast 32 single staterooms with an Infinite Veranda. In addition, Celebrity Apex has 24 solo cabins and Celebrity Edge features 16 staterooms for individual guests. These one-person accommodations offer a minimum of 131 square feet of space and the same upscale amenities you'll find in other category staterooms on their ships.

Once on board the vessel, check out the daily program for activities conducive to meeting others – like wine tastings, cocktail-making classes, fitness classes and more. You'll also enjoy thrilling top-notch entertainment around the ship in The Theatre, The Club and Eden. A few popular cruises for singles are the line's Caribbean and Mediterranean and Greek Isles itineraries on Celebrity Ascent.

Virgin Voyages

The hip vibe on board the adults-only Virgin Voyages ships is ideal for solo cruisers looking to meet other travelers. Its superyacht-style ships – Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady and Resilient Lady – offer 40 interior cabins ranging in size from 105 to 177 square feet. There are also six Sea View staterooms with portholes boasting between 130 to 190 square feet of space. These Insider and Sea View cabins are designed and priced for single travelers, with amenities like high-tech mood lighting and roomy rain showers. The line also runs promotions where solo cruisers can book double occupancy staterooms without paying a single supplement.

Activities and festival-like entertainment around the ships foster fast friendships. Diners will enjoy the interactive experience at Gunbae, the lively Korean barbecue venue. The PJ Party is a fun-filled evening where guests don their pajamas, hang out and party all night long around the ship. For even more opportunities to meet new friends, check out the other evening shipwide events such as the themed Scarlet Night and the Untitled Danceshow Partything, which feature live music and immersive experiences. In addition, the line hosts meetups for singles throughout each voyage. Virgin's Caribbean itineraries sailing from Miami are an excellent choice to meet other solo cruisers with the late stays and overnights featured on every itinerary.

Avalon Waterways

Panorama Suite on Avalon Waterways ship.

Avalon Waterways' river and small-ship cruises traverse waters around the world, including in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. The company waives the single supplement on most European departures and select Southeast Asia departures on the Mekong River. The company recommends booking early as the specially priced cabins do sell out. Solo travelers make up about 10% of the passengers on this river cruise line .

Avalon's fleet of Suite Ships operates in Europe and Southeast Asia and features cabins with a minimum of 172 square feet. About 80% of the staterooms are Panorama Suites, which have 200 feet of living space, beds with a view and the river cruise industry's only open-air balcony. With Avalon excursions, solo cruisers have opportunities to meet like-minded guests during immersive tours, cooking classes, wine tastings, yoga or fitness classes, biking or hiking trips and other activities. Single guests can choose to dine at tables for just two people or ones that can accommodate up to eight passengers.

AmaWaterways

Single Stateroom on DOLCE by Ama Waterways.

Courtesy of AmaWaterways

Single occupancy staterooms are available on four of AmaWaterways' river cruise ships: AmaDolce, AmaDante, AmaLyra and AmaCello. These 140-square-foot accommodations do not have single supplement fees and feature many of the same amenities as other category staterooms — and they have a French balcony. Solo cruisers can book other staterooms on select European cruises without an additional fee. They also have the option of paying a 25% single supplement on a fixed window stateroom on any sailing in Europe or for a Category C stateroom on the Mekong River in Southeast Asia.

With the friendly, small-ship atmosphere, solo cruisers will find it comfortable to socialize with other passengers and the crew. Onboard activities, entertainment and immersive excursions also create opportunities for fostering friendships, especially among like-minded travelers. Excellent options for solo cruises include themed sailings centered on culture and wine or the magical Christmas markets itineraries along the Danube, Rhone and Rhine rivers.

Lines with discounted supplement fares

Stairwell (Deck 5) on Azamara ship.

Azamara's special offers for solo travelers include reduced single supplements of 125% of the double occupancy rate on select sailings. The line's four midsized sister ships – carrying no more than 700 passengers – are mostly all-inclusive. Amenities covered in the cruise fare include most meals; standard spirits, wines and beers; bottled water, soft drinks, and specialty teas and coffees; gratuities; and complimentary AzAmazing Evenings. Dining at the two specialty restaurants is an additional cost unless guests have accommodations in the Club World Owner's Suites, Club Ocean Suite or Club Continent Suite.

Single guests on Azamara cruises will find events during the sailing and venues around the ship where you can mix and mingle with other solo travelers and chat with the friendly crew. Intimate and culturally immersive excursions and overnights in port also create opportunities to meet passengers with similar interests. The ship's intimate bars and lounges are also excellent spots to meet other travelers during your voyage.

For itineraries, Azamara's signature "Country-Intensive Voyages" are a favorite of solo cruisers, including the seven-night Greece Intensive Voyage. For an extended sailing, check out the festive 25-night Carnival Rio & Amazon Voyage in February 2025, which features a stop in Rio de Janeiro during the city's famed Carnival.

Cunard Line

Courtesy of Cunard Line

Cunard Line offers dedicated solo staterooms on three of its ships (Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth), priced at approximately 166% to 174% of the equivalent double occupancy cruise fare. Guests can choose between a spacious Britannia Inside or Britannia Oceanview cabin or opt for a larger stateroom with a single supplement. For a little "me time" pampering while on board, solos will appreciate 24-hour room service, complimentary Penhaligon's toiletries and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine. Single guests will also be invited to get-togethers. You can either dine alone at venues around the ship, such as the main dining room, or choose to share a table with other passengers.

With an international mix of travelers, single cruisers will have many opportunities to meet and chat with others, especially during a Transatlantic Crossing. During the sailing, you'll find enriching, active and relaxing activities that encourage socializing. According to Cunard , there's a sense of camaraderie and a passion around the voyage – and the unique travel experience of crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

Silversea Cruises

Luxury line Silversea Cruises offers 25% single supplements on various voyages throughout the year, including expedition cruises to destinations like French Polynesia and the Pacific and Antarctica. You'll also find cruises to the Arctic and Greenland that include the Northwest Passage and itineraries in Australia and New Zealand, South Africa and South America. The line's all-inclusive fares cover luxurious ocean-view suites, gourmet dining, complimentary wines and spirits, gratuities, onboard enrichment and entertainment, shore excursions and other perks. Solo travelers will even have personalized butler service to indulge their every whim.

The line's fleet of a dozen intimate ships, carrying no more than 728 guests, offers a clubby atmosphere perfect for meeting solo and like-minded travelers. Single guests will also have the opportunity to engage with other solo travelers during a welcome reception with Champagne at the beginning of each voyage. Popular itineraries for Silversea's single cruisers include its Alaska sailings and Transoceanic journeys, a bucket list trip for many cruisers.

Seabourn has special offers throughout the year where solo cruisers can take advantage of reduced pricing with discounts on the single supplement starting at 10% above the double occupancy fares. These rates are available on select voyages and in select suite categories, including expedition cruises to Antarctica the Arctic. Other sailings include itineraries in Europe, Asia, South Africa and New Zealand. Frequent solo cruisers and members of the luxury line's Seabourn Club with Diamond Elite status will find reduced single supplements of 150% or 175%, depending on the suite category. Club members also receive invitations to exclusive events, where they can meet and mingle with fellow cruisers. In addition, solo cruisers are invited to sit with the ship's officers, crew and entertainers at dinner – and there are hosted get-togethers for single travelers.

Single travelers will enjoy beautifully designed oceanfront suites and all-inclusive amenities on board Seabourn 's intimate ships. These perks include world-class dining; complimentary premium wine and spirits; a spa and wellness program in partnership with Dr. Andrew Weil; included gratuities; and the line's enrichment series, Seabourn Conversations. Solos looking for an extended holiday will enjoy longer voyages, including the just-launched Kimberley and South Pacific itineraries on the line's newest purpose-built expedition ship, Seabourn Pursuit.
