Recent tour reviews

When I first bought the tickets they seemed expensive but having attended the show I think they were worth every penny.

I felt that Pink is an amazing entertainer who engaged with the audience and also showed appreciation for the other performers. Not only this but she has ( as evidenced by the video clips) done lots of ambassadorship things for worthy causes.

I felt she can across as a very warm caring person of incredible talent and I enjoyed the whole event.

Would definitely like to see her in concert again. Truly spectacular.

I had seen P!nk live at Madison Square Garden in NYC once before when she had started using the silks onstage, so I knew her shows were impressive. But nothing prepared me for last night. Not only does she entertain with a well-choreographed show, she’s humble, she’s funny and the show brims with passion. This is a well-rehearsed production, yet she still makes it feel spontaneous. There are lots of fast rock-out songs with pyrotechnics but also quiet moments where her voice shines during the ballads. Highlights for me were the nod to Gwen Stefani/No Doubt blend of Just a Girl with her own Funhouse and her flying all around the arena like Tinkerbell during So What. What a phenomenal show. What a phenomenal performance. P!nk sure gives you your money’s worth. I tend to avoid big stadium concerts, but for P!nk I’ll gladly make an exception. Go see her! You won’t regret it.

This tour date was my second time seeing P!NK on the Beautiful Trauma tour. (I got to travel to Charlottesville for a date on the tour in 2019.) When the Charlotte, NC, date was announced for this March, I had hoped to be able to go because it's near my birthday this time. This date was just as awesome. (I have listened to P!NK's albums since her first album was released when I was an assistant manager in a music store.)

P!NK is personal, on point, and gives audience participation a new meaning. She's working hard to keep her body prepped to do everything she does on stage, and as a female in her age group as well as a lifelong singer and musician's spouse, I applaud her voice and her choices in everything she puts together for her concert tour dates. If you were hesitant to go to the tour date because you hear her music and do not go to concerts, then I recommend you try to go to at least one tour date. You will not be disappointed!

The newly announced series of live performances comes as a further extension of the singer’s hit ‘Summer Carnival World Tour’, which has seen her play to over one million fans globally across 2023.

Kicking off on June 11 with a stop at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, the 2024 tour dates will then see P!nk perform at stadiums in cities across the UK and Ireland, before moving over to European venues including Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Leipzig and Stuttgart. The tour will then draw to a close in Stockholm on July 25.

The UK shows include stops in London, Liverpool and Glasgow – the same cities that she visited five years prior for her 2019 tour – and the shows in Copenhagen and Bern will be her first live dates there since 2010.

The tour will also mark her first-ever show in Mönchengladbach, Germany, and her first show in Leipzig in over 10 years. Special guests for the show include The Script , GAYLE and DJ and producer KidCutUp.

UK and Ireland Tickets will be available from next Thursday (November 30) at 10am local time and can be found here . European tour dates will be available from November 27. Check out a full list of UK and European shows below.

The upcoming Tour Deluxe Edition also features six live recordings from her 2023 ‘Summer Carnival Tour’ including singles ‘What About Us’, ‘When I Get There’, and ‘Cover Me in Sunshine’ – which featured her daughter Willow Sage Hart – as well as covers of Sade ’s ‘No Ordinary Love’ and Sinead O’Connor ’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ with Brandi Carlile .

In other P!nk news, last month the singer was  forced to postpone a show in Canada due to a respiratory infection . It marked her fourth show to be cancelled in one week.

The condition appeared to be related to the singer’s struggle with asthma, which she has had since childhood and flared up following her catching coronavirus in 2020.

Last week, the artist also announced that she would be giving away 2,000 copies of banned books at her upcoming concerts in Florida .

This came after she teamed up with PEN America to distribute copies of Todd Parr’s The Family Book , Amanda Gorman’s The Hill We Climb , Toni Morrison’s Beloved , and Stacia Deutsch’s Girls Who Code , all books that are currently prohibited from schools and libraries in Florida.

Everything you need to know to get tickets for the P!NK – Summer Carnival 2024

All the key information you might need to secure tickets for the P!NK – Summer Carnival 2024

Due to unprecedented demand from her fans across the UK and Europe, P!NK is set to make a rapturous return in 2024, announcing brand new dates on her spectacular Summer Carnival World Tour.

UK Tour Dates:

Tues 11 June – Principality Stadium, Cardiff

Sat 15 June – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

Sun 16 June – Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

Mon 24 June – Anfield Stadium, Liverpool

Tues 25 June – Anfield Stadium, Liverpool

Fri 28 June – Hampden Park, Glasgow

Sat 29 June – Hampden Park, Glasgow  Fans must register for access to the ticket sale to help block bots, reduce resale and get more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show.

Why do I need to register?

Because tickets are limited: When there simply aren’t enough tickets for everyone who wants them, random selection gives all fans who successfully registered a chance to be selected to participate in the sale.

Because it helps reduce bots : Registration helps filter out bots that gain an unfair advantage over fans who want to go to the show. Knowing who should be in the queue ahead of time also makes it easier for us to identify and block suspicious bot-like activity.

Registration does not guarantee access to the sale, or tickets. Only fans that receive a unique access code will be able to access the sale. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How do I register?

Simply fill out the registration form for your preferred show(s). You may only register once in each country. You will receive an email confirmation for each registration you complete.

Next, you’ll receive an email on Monday 27 November and one of two things will happen:

A) If you’ve been randomly selected to access the sale, you will receive a unique code via email the day before the sale begins. The number of fans who receive access depends on the number of tickets available. Note: Codes only work with your account; they cannot be bought or sold.

B) If you’ve been waitlisted you may be randomly selected to join the sale if tickets remain. You’ll be notified via email if that happens.

Please remember:

  • This sale can only be accessed by the randomly selected individuals who registered and received a unique access code.
  • Registering does not guarantee you’ll get a code, and receiving a code does not guarantee you will get a ticket.
  • To ensure you receive all messages about this sale, add [email protected] to your contacts and safe sender lists.

Pink Adds New 2024 Tour Dates – Setlist & Ticket Info

pink tour in europe 2024

Pink , the rock-influenced pop singer who rose to stardom in the early 2000s, has announced new tour dates amidst her ongoing Summer Carnival tour.

Pink is currently on her highly popular Summer Carnival stadium tour, which started on June 7, 2023 , at the University of Bolton Stadium in Bolton, England, and will conclude on November 23, 2024, at LoanDepot Park in Miami. The newly announced tour dates are seamlessly integrated between her summer tour and a series of previously scheduled P!NK LIVE fall dates. While the summer tour features support from Sheryl Crow , The Script, and DJ act KidCutUp, the additional dates will showcase only The Script and KidCutUp.

Since the early 2000s, Pink’s music has offered an edginess and authenticity that serves as both guidance and empowerment for women worldwide. In her acceptance speeches, she consistently addresses her desire to set an example for her daughter and uplift women everywhere.

Pink solidified her outspoken attitude in her 2006 album I’m Not Dead , which featured politically charged songs like “Dear Mr. President,” and included the poignant track “Conversations with My 13 Year Old Self,” which delved into the struggles of adolescence. However, it was her smash hit single, “Stupid Girls,” that solidified Pink’s status as a feminist icon within the realm of pop music. In this song, she criticized society’s obsession with scantily clad women and targeted everything from women in rap music videos to the notion that a woman’s sole purpose is to appease men.

Here It Comes: Another Hot Summer in Europe

Extreme heat and other weather challenges are in the forecast this summer, and travel advisers, tourists and local officials are getting prepared.

Outside an ancient Roman structure -- the Colosseum in Rome -- a young woman in light summer clothing pours a bottle of water on a man's neck.

By Ceylan Yeğinsu

Europe, the world’s fastest-warming continent, is headed for another scorching summer, meteorologists warn. And travelers, once again, are heading to the hot spots.

Last year, large parts of southern Europe experienced prolonged periods of extreme heat with temperatures reaching 118 degrees and lasting up to two weeks or more. The sweltering conditions upended vacations throughout the summer season as visitors collapsed from heat exhaustion at crowded tourist sites, and wildfires led to evacuations in Greece, Italy and Spain.

“Our computer models are in good agreement that it’s going to be another unusually hot summer, especially during late July through August,” said Todd Crawford, vice president of meteorology at Atmospheric G2 , a weather and climate intelligence firm based in Manchester, N.H. The company expects the magnitude of the heat to be similar to 2022, the hottest summer ever recorded in Europe, with the most anomalous heat projected in the south, in popular countries for travelers like Greece, Croatia and Italy.

Since 1991, Europe has been warming at twice the global average, and 23 of the 30 most severe heat waves in Europe since 1950 have occurred since 2000, with five in the last three years, according to the World Meteorological Organization. The European Union's Copernicus Climate Change Service said several factors contribute to the continent’s vulnerability, including the proportion of European land in the Arctic — the fastest-warming region on earth — and changes in atmospheric circulation.

Yet despite the forecast and increasing trend of excessive summer heat, demand is still high for destinations where temperatures reached 100 degrees or higher in recent summers. Overall, U.S. demand for travel to Europe has increased since last year, according to the travel site Hopper . Rome, Paris and Athens are among the most searched cities out of billions of annual searches for summer vacations on Kayak and Expedia.

“The destinations are being booked again, and what really characterizes people is how quickly they forget and push back negative experiences,” said Stefan Gössling, a professor who researches tourism and climate change at Linnaeus University in Sweden. “People who were caught in life-threatening situations like the wildfires may reconsider where they travel, but for the broader population, we are not yet seeing a big change in decision-making because of the heat.”

Green spaces and heat officers: Cities adapt

As the summer approaches, popular destinations that were hit hard last year are working on protocols to make residents and tourists safe and more comfortable. In 2021, Athens became the first European city to appoint a chief heat officer to oversee those efforts. One of the first steps was to categorize heat waves by severity, like hurricanes, as an early warning system for the potential impact on human health. It is also naming heat waves to emphasize their potential risks.

“Heat is a silent killer and projections for the coming years show that it will only get worse, so we are redesigning our city and making changes to adapt,” said Elissavet Bargianni, the chief heat officer for Athens. Beyond raising awareness, the city plans to implement additional measures, which include increasing the number of green spaces and creating cool public areas.

For visitors planning to visit Athens this summer, Ms. Bargianni advises using the Extrema Global app that calculates the coolest route for getting from point A to point B according to the current temperature and density of the trees. The city already has several air-conditioned cooling centers that are free.

During last July’s heat wave, the Acropolis was forced to close between midday and the early evening to protect visitors after some of them collapsed from the heat. The ministry of culture could make the same decision this year, Ms. Bargianni said, if the heat is severe.

Heat and tours: Travel advisers get creative

Travel advisers are also factoring heat into flexible itineraries. In cities like Rome, Barcelona, Paris and Athens, they are scheduling sightseeing in the cooler morning and evening hours, and arranging air-conditioned transportation.

“We tend to do activities and tours in the morning, then stop for lunch, and in the mid- to late afternoon you either go back to the hotel to sit by the pool or go to the beach,” said Gary Portuesi, a co-managing partner at Authentic Explorations, a New York-based travel company that specializes in Europe.

If clients insist on taking midday tours, the company will work with local partners to make the experience as comfortable as possible. “If there is a six-hour tour, for example, they will cut it down to four and take them to an air-conditioned gelateria for a break,” Mr. Portuesi said.

It is not only the heat that travel advisers have had to grapple with, but also other unpredictable weather events. Last summer, while some parts of the continent were hot and dry, others were cold and wet. “There was a period during the summer peak when it was hotter in the Dolomites than it was in Sicily,” said Jennifer Schwartz, the Italy-based partner of Authentic Explorations. “The most important aspect of our job is to set expectations about the variables and guide people instead of saying it’s too hot, don’t come.”

Heat insurance?

To help travelers book with more confidence, Sensible Weather, a Los Angeles-based start-up that provides a weather guarantee for vacations and outdoor experiences, has recently added high heat protection to its coverage. When booking through a Sensible partner, travelers will be able to add daily protection and if the temperature exceeds a threshold — usually set between 90 and 100 degrees — they can claim reimbursement. Currently, the insurance is only available in the United States, but, the company said, will gradually be rolled out in Europe and elsewhere.

“The goal of the company is to cover everything that can ruin a trip, and usually it’s rain, but temperature is number two,” said Nick Cavanaugh, the company’s founder who was developing the product while caught in a heat wave in Barcelona last year.

Customers do not need to cancel their trip in order to be reimbursed. Those on package tours are reimbursed for the average daily rate of their entire trip for each day that surpassed the heat threshold. “Our customers can still go on their vacations, but if it’s too hot for some hours of the day and unpleasant to go outside, you can hang out in the air-conditioning and we will reimburse you,” Mr. Cavanaugh said.

Heading to cooler climes

Some travelers who were caught in Europe’s heat waves last summer are seeking cooler destinations this summer in places like Norway, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland. Flight searches for Tromsø, Norway, for example, have increased by 85 percent over 2023, according to Kayak.

Joanna Walker, a 43-year-old recruiter from Boston, was caught in a blistering heat wave with her family in Italy last July and vowed never to return during the summer. She said she had been advised to travel during the shoulder season, but couldn’t because her children were in school.

“We couldn’t even cool off in the pool because there was no shade and the water was hot,” Ms. Walker recalled. “We wanted to see the sights in Florence and have long lunches in the piazzas, but instead we were stuck in our overpriced villas under the air-conditioning.”

This year her family has booked a tour of Norway’s fjords in July, where temperatures linger in the high 60s. “It’s going to be a different vibe to Italy for sure, lots of nature and not as much history, but at least it will be cool enough to experience something.”

BYD calls out the US and Europe for being ‘afraid’ of Chinese EVs

Avatar for Peter Johnson

Is the West afraid of Chinese electric cars? According to BYD CEO Wang Chuanfu, there are many examples of politicians who are worried about low-cost Chinese EVs, hinting at the US and Europe.

BYD says the US, Europe are worried about Chinese EVs

“If you are not strong enough, they will not be afraid of you,” Wang said at an industry event on Friday (via Bloomberg ).

He added, “There are many examples of politicians in other countries who are worried about EVs in China.” The comments come as the US and Europe aim to hamper Chinese EV imports with new tariffs.

BYD’s CEO said the tariffs are a testament to the strength of China’s auto industry. Wang’s swipe at the West comes after the US increased tariffs on China-made imports, including EVs, batteries, and critical minerals.

The EU is also expected to introduce new tariffs aimed at Chinese EVs shortly. Europe launched an investigation into China-made EVs as the global markets are “now flooded with cheaper electric cars,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in September.

BYD-US-Chinese-EVs

China has since threatened to retaliate with a 25% tariff on imports as global trade tensions heat up.

BYD, China-made EVs take on global markets

BYD posted its second-highest sales ever last month after introducing a series of new lower-cost electric (and PHEV) cars.

The new BYD Seagull , its cheapest EV, starts at just $9,700 (69,800 yuan) in China. Even in overseas markets, the “mini Lamborghini” (as former Lamborghini designer Wolfgang Egger led its design) is still one of the cheapest electric options.

BYD's-$10K-Seagull-EV

In Brazil, the Seagull EV starts at around $20,000 (99,800 BRL). BYD’s car transport ship, Explorer No 1, landed in Brazil’s Port of Suape earlier this week, unloading 7,000 new energy vehicles (EVs and PHEVs).

The Explorer first docked in Germany in February, carrying 3,000 vehicles, as BYD expands the brand globally.

BYD-US-Chinese-EVs

According to global data collection firm Dataforce , Chinese EVs, like BYD and MG, accounted for around 9% of EVs sold in Europe last year. However, that number is expected to rise quickly over the next few years.

European lobby group Transport and Environment , Chinese EVs could account for a quarter of EVs sold in Europe this year.

CATL-BYD-EV-battery

After topping VW, becoming China’s top-selling automaker last year, BYD looks to take on global markets.

While addressing the audience Friday, Wang said the industry should embrace competition if it wants to manage the transition to EVs.

BYD-launches-Sea-Lion-07

Electrek’s Take

BYD is quickly expanding overseas. It’s already an EV leader in key markets like Thailand, Brazil, Israel, Columbia, and others.

Despite its low price tag, BYD’s Seagull has earned praise from industry leaders. Ford’s CEO Jim Farley called it a “pretty damn good” car, warning rivals of BYD’s superior tech.

Even with tariffs, BYD expects the Seagull EV to launch as one of Europe’s cheapest electric cars at under $21,500 (20,000 euros). BYD is also planning a higher-end $27,000 (25,000 euro) model, according to European managing director Michael Shu.

Top comment by Grant

They are afraid of Chinese manufacturing. I would propose a compromise, by allowing them to build factories in the US and Europe as long as most everything for the vehicles are produced locally as well. This includes batteries.

With two planned plants in the region, BYD expects to overcome any potential impacts of tariffs on China-made EVs.

Although BYD is best known for its affordable EVs, the automaker is expanding into new segments, such as mid-size SUVs, luxury vehicles, and pickup trucks.

BYD launched the Sea Lion 07 last month, which will compete with Tesla’s top-selling Model Y. Starting at 189,800 yuan ($26,250), BYD’s new electric SUV undercuts the Model Y in China, which starts at 249,900 yuan ($34,550).

It also launched its first pickup, the Shark PHEV , in Mexico. The BYD Shark will compete with top-selling trucks like Toyota’s Hilux and the Ford Ranger in the region.

It’s been 20 years since Shira Yevin, the lead singer of punk band Shiragirl drove a pink RV into the Vans Warped Tour grounds, the now-defunct punk rock festival notorious for being male-dominated . In response to the festival’s lack of female-fronted bands, Yevin’s band crashed the festival and set up an impromptu all-female stage. This led to the creation of Warped Tour’s Shiragirl Stage, which hosted over 300 bands, including Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Paramore. It was later honored with a Warped Tour exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

After Shiragirl Stage, Yevin went on a “lifelong crusade for carving out a space for women in music and other male-dominated industries,” she told TechCrunch. This began with the launch of Gritty in Pink in 2020, a Live Nation-backed platform designed to empower women in the music industry.

A few years later, the company rolled out its flagship product, InPink , a job marketplace for females and nonbinary artists, among other professionals across the music and live entertainment space, such as tour managers, photographers and video editors who specialize in concerts, and graphic designers for poster creation. Like freelance platforms Fiverr and Upwork, users can publish listings to highlight their services on InPink’s marketplace and connect with major brands.

“On the freelance talent side, it’s hard to find opportunities without a network or personal connections. If you’re not in the ‘boys club,’ most jobs aren’t even posted. And then, of course, admin headaches, sending invoices, chasing down payments, and fairly pricing services are major struggles for all freelancers but for women in particular … We’re aiming to build the next-generation career platform for talent and help [women] upscale and network,” Yevin said.

In addition to its focus on women and nonbinary creatives, InPink also aims to address other DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) needs with a feature called “Diversity” tags, which filters creators based on specific diversity criteria: Asian, Black, Indigenous, Hispanic/Latina, Queer, and POC.

InPink has grown to over 3,000 users and has facilitated several dream gigs for people on the platform, including Leanne Bowes (bassist) and Constance Antoinette (guitarist), who work with Demi Lovato. Moa Munoz , meanwhile, secured the bass player position for pop star Olivia Rodrigo.

The company has processed $300,000 in transactions to date.

Looking ahead, InPink continues to develop new features, such as two AI-powered tools: a fair pay scale that analyzes market rates to determine fair compensation for female creatives and a matching tool that will help companies discover talent more efficiently.

The fair pay scale is particularly notable as female musicians are still being underpaid or don’t know how much to charge for their services. As cited by a study from the Recording Academy , about 18% of respondents who identify as performers or music creators earned less than $40,000 a year in 2019. More broadly, women freelancers reportedly charge 47% less than men on online marketplaces.

Yevin explained that InPink’s fair pay feature will recommend how much users should charge based on “location, the service, and the scope of the project.” The AI will pull from “diverse” sources to “make sure that [the price] is as accurate as possible,” Yevin said, yet declined to share further, as it is still in the early stages of development.

Meanwhile, the forthcoming matching tool helps job seekers discover projects that best suit their skills and interests. The AI also analyzes past performance to make optimal matches for companies.

“In the future, it’s going to be more of an AI prompt, so you can prompt what you are looking for and get what you need in a quicker way,” Yevin added.

The AI features are expected to launch in early 2025 or sooner.

Other ideas on the product roadmap include a paid Pro subscription, which will be available to higher-level talent who have worked with notable names. The company is also looking to expand beyond the music industry and offer its services to adjacent sectors in entertainment, such as sports and live events. Yevin said InPink is already working with one sports client, Angel City Football Club (the LA-based women’s soccer league), to help them hire talent for pre-shows.

“We’re already seeing the potential with other industries,” Yevin said. “We see InPink transforming the future of work for music, entertainment, and beyond and making it more flexible and equitable in the process.”

Gritty in Pink has raised over $500,000 from Alternative Wealth Partners, Gaingels, LiveNation, Long Beach Accelerator, and angel investors. The company is set to close a $1 million pre-seed round soon and was recently accepted into the Berkeley SkyDeck incubator.
