Sabaton Book 2022 North American ‘Tour to End All Tours’

It's on! Sabaton are heading stateside with their "Tour to End All Tours" run this fall, announcing a 25-date trek that will include a special headline show at Montreal's Place Bell that will serve as their first-ever headline concert in Canada.

The trek gets underway Sept. 15 in Seattle with dates booked through the Oct. 23 finale in New York. You can see all the dates, cities and venues listed toward the bottom of this post. In addition to Sabaton, the band is bringing along symphonic metallers Epica to open the shows. Tickets for the run will go on sale to the general public this Friday (March 18) at 10AM local time. "We're all looking forward to this tour," said the band's Pär Sundström. "It will have been three years since we've brought our headline show to America, so we are more ready than ever. And, with the release of our new album, we now have a vault full of new songs to play."

The tour comes in support of the band's The War to End All Wars album, which just debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Current Rock Albums and Current Hard Music Albums charts. Additional, the album grabbed the No. 1 spot in Germany and Sweden and was No. 2 in Norway and on the U.K. Rock & Metal Chart.

“With our last album, The Great War , we found that we had only scratched the surface in terms of the powerful stories of courage and bravery and also the horrors that took place during the first World War," says Broden. "Fans would contact us and tell us these amazing stories from World War One that none of us had ever heard of before. Incredible stories about everyday people who were willing to give their lives for something bigger than themselves. These were stories of a frightening and liberating time in history that had to be told.”

Sabaton announce their monumental “The Tour To End All Tours”

Last year has been a challenging yet menacing one for bands all over the world: It has been a time of insecurity, worries and the fear of never being able to return to the status quo of touring. But,  Sabaton  never was a band to fall that easily due to difficult circumstances. Instead of giving up on their visions and ambitions, the Swedish metal batallion forged their monumental tour plans to present to their fans today: A tour that makes the hearts of fans beat faster. If you close your eyes and listen carefully, you can already hear the sound of roaring guitars like thunder above a battlefield. Swedish metallers SABATON have announced "The Tour To End All Tours" . The spring 2022 European trek will be visiting 26 cities in 17 countries, featuring support from the Mongolian rock band THE HU and Finnish heavy metal veterans LORDI .

This past April, SABATON released the English-language version of its latest single, "Livgardet" ( "The Royal Guard" ).

SABATON 's first new music since 2019's "The Great War" , "The Royal Guard" honored the Swedish Royal Guards first established in the year 1521.

Sabaton will embark on a fall 2022 North American headlining tour in support of their new album The War to End All Wars .

Appropriately dubbed “The Tour to End All Tours,” the outing kicks off on September 15th at The Paramount in Seattle and runs through an October 23rd finale at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Epica will support all dates.

General ticket sales begin Friday (March 18th) at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sales beginning Thursday (March 17th). Head over to Ticketmaster to buy them.

“We’re all looking forward to this tour,” bassist Pär Sundström remarked via a press release. “It will have been three years since we’ve brought our headline show to America, so we are more ready than ever. And, with the release of our new album, we now have a vault full of new songs to play.”

The tour announcement comes after the successful launch of The War to End All Wars . The LP just hit No. 1 on Billboard ‘s Rock Albums chart and Current Hard Music Albums chart. It has also hit No. 1 on rock charts in Germany and Sweden and No. 2 on the UK Rock & Metal Chart.

Sabaton Announce 2022 North American "Tour to End All Tours"

Sabaton have announced plans to hit the road this fall on the "Tour to End All Tours." The 25-date trek will kick off September 15 at Seattle, Washington's Paramount Theatre and run through October 23 at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom. Dutch symphonic metal band Epica will open the shows.

Tickets for the Tour to End All Tours run will go on sale to the general public March 18 at 10AM local time.

Sabaton's last documented setlist was September 29, 2021 at Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado. It was a last minute headlining show, arranged after their scheduled date with Judas Priest got cancelled because lead guitarist, Richie Faulkner, needed surgery.

Luke Combs is set to release a new album titled “Fathers & Sons” on June 14, the Grammy-nominated country singer announced on Thursday.

Just one day ago, Combs posted a heartfelt handwritten note addressed to his sons and also shared he would be releasing a single, “The Man He Sees in Me,” on Thursday. Combs is a father of two — 10-month-old Beau, and almost 2-year-old, Tex — and in the ne single, he vows to be the best dad he can be, while also being realistic about the fact that fatherhood won’t always be or look perfect.

Considering the song titles — “Little Country Boys,” “Whoever You Turn Out to Be” and “My Old Man Was Right” — on “Fathers & Sons,” Combs is set to tackle the theme of fatherhood with this 12-song project. The music video for “The Man He Sees” in Me is out now, while the lyrics of the song sweetly address Combs’ relationship to his young sons, and how he hopes it will evolve: “Well I hope he never finds out that I didn’t hang the moon / And I’ve never scared a monster out the closet in his room / Some day between him leaving home and driving on my knee / Maybe I’ll finally be, the man he sees in me,” he sings.

Combs will play Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on the album’s release date as part of his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” tour, which runs from April 13 through Aug. 10 of this year.
