• Purchase travel medical insurance that is valid for Switzerland and the entire Schengen Area, with a minimum of €30,000 coverage for medical emergencies.
• Evidence of sufficient financial resources for the duration of your stay in Switzerland.
• This could be a marriage certificate, a birth certificate for a child, a death certificate for a spouse, or something else.
• Evidence of hotel accommodation, like a hotel reservation.

Types of Switzerland visa

• If going through Switzerland and catching a connecting aircraft, some foreign nationals require an airport transit visa (also known as a Schengen A visa).
