Ab Juni 2024 touren wir wieder durch ganz Deutschland und besuchen an 10 Wochenenden große Städte wie beispielsweise Leipzig, Erfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Köln und Magdeburg.

Bei unserem legendären Familien-Event erwartet euch wieder ein buntes Bühnenprogramm und tolle Spiele für jedes Alter. Die großen Kids können mit Woozle durch seinen verrückten Hindernisparcour laufen und mit Alvin um die Wette skaten. Habt ihr das Zeug, um American Football zu spielen? Testet euer Können bei der Station von TOGGO Touchdown . Die Kleinen dürfen sich auf die Toggolino Hüpfburg freuen und die PAW Patrol Zentrale hochklettern. Natürlich werden auch wieder eure Lieblingshelden zur TOGGO Tour kommen. Trefft SpongeBob , die Helden von PAW Patrol oder auch Hello Kitty live vor Ort und macht mit ihnen unvergessliche Erinnerungsfotos.

Gemeinsam mit Stars wie Iggi Kelly , Eske Hohlen , AMIR THE KID , dem Kinderlied-Beatmeister Nilsen und Frank & seinen Freunden werdet ihr tolle Lieder mitsingen und zu coolen Beats abfeiern können. Außerdem wird euch der TikTok-Star Jannik Freestyle krasse Fußballtricks zeigen und BMX Freestyler Chris Böhm & Crew versuchen live neue Rekorde zu brechen. Sommerspaß mit den TOGGO Serienhelden

Auf der TOGGO Tour ist für jeden etwas dabei. Für die Großen wird es sportlich, denn Woozle hat seinen verrückten Hindernisparcours aufgebaut. Mit Alvin können sie um die Wette skaten. Und mit TOGGO Touchdown ihr Können im American Football beweisen. Auch die Kleinen kommen hier nicht zu kurz! Sie können sich auf der Toggolino Hüpfburg auspowern, die PAW Patrol Zentrale erklimmen und Rubble's Baubucht entdecken. Für unvergessliche Erinnerungsfotos sorgen die Serienhelden von TOGGO und Toggolino persönlich. Trefft SpongeBob, die PAW Patrol oder auch Hello Kitty live vor Ort.

Beim Bungee Run können eure Kinder die Sportart Flag Football kennenlernen. Ziel dabei ist es, so schnell wie möglich alle Flaggen vom Gegenspieler abzureißen.

Beim Woozle Buzzer Lauf geht es um Geschicklichkeit und Spaß. Wer schafft es, alle Hindernisse zu überwinden und den roten Buzzer zu drücken?

Auf der TOGGO Tour können eure Kinder ihren Stars ganz nah kommen und zum Beispiel die PAW Patrol live treffen!

Mit Rubble und seiner Familie, der Baupfoten "Rubble & Crew", gibt es in Baubucht für deine Kleinen immer was zu bauen. 

Mit Alvin können deine Kinder um die Wette skaten. Wer stellt den nächsten Rekord auf?

TOGGO Radio ist ebenfalls mit am Start und sendet vor Ort live aus der Radiobox!

Ein buntes Bühnenprogramm mit Tanz, Musik & Stars

Was wäre ein Fest ohne Musik? Daher gibt es natürlich ein abwechslungsreiches Musik-Programm auf der TOGGO Tour Bühne. Freut euch auf gute Stimmung mit Iggi Kelly & Eske Hohlen, AMIR THE KID, dem Kinderlied-Beatmeister Nilsen oder auch Frank & seinen Freunden. Die Honigkuchenpferde, Deutschlands erste Popband für die ganze Familie, bringen richtig coole Pop-Songs zum Mitsingen mit. Und das DJ Duo MICAR & JASH zeigt, wie man selbst zum DJ werden kann. Abseits der Musik wird es in diesem Jahr auch wieder sportlich: Der TikToker Jannik Freestyle hat coole Fußballtricks mitgebracht und BMX Freestyler Chris Böhm & Crew möchte Rekorde brechen.

Unsere TOGGO Moderator:innen werden euch auch in diesem Jahr auf der Bühne durch den Tag begleiten.

Für richtig gute Laune sorgen die Honigkuchenpferde mit cooler Popmusik für die ganze Familie.

Der Weltrekordhalter Chris Böhm zeigt coole BMX-Tricks und möchte neue Rekorde aufstellen.

Jannik Freestyle ist auch in diesem Jahr wieder mit dabei und präsentiert euch auf der Bühne coole Fußballtricks zu seinen eigenen Songs!

Mit seinem Song "Heard It All" stürmt Iggi Kelly nicht nur die Radio-Charts, sondern auch unsere TOGGO Tour-Bühne.

Mit D!s Kids Club abtanzen und auf der Bühne selbst zum Star werden - auch das können eure Kids bei der TOGGO Tour.

Der junge Rapper AMIR THE KID, ist in diesem Jahr das erste Mal mit auf TOGGO Tour und begeistert mit seinen einzigartigen Hip-Hop-Sounds.

Zum Stadtfest präsentiert SUPER RTL eine fantastische Bühnenshow, hochkarätige Live-Acts und Fernsehen zum Mitmachen. Durch das vielseitige Bühnenprogramm führen dabei die TOGGO Moderatoren Vanessa Civiello, Giulia Mühlhaus, Beatrice Hoffmann, Simon Albers, Florian Ambrosius, Alexander Kumpf und TikTokerin Katulka. Auf der Bühne präsentieren sich Amir the Kid, Iggi & Eske, Frank & seine Freunde, Honigkuchenpferde, Nilsen und Kinders ihre Songs.

TOGGO Tour 2023 startet in Leipzig

Spiel, spaß und action vom 3. bis 4. juni 2023 auf dem augustusplatz.

Unvergessliche Erlebnisse garantiert: Vom 3. Juni bis zum 24. September 2023 bringt SUPER RTL die Serienstars der Kinder diesen Sommer im Rahmen der TOGGO Tour wieder in zehn deutsche Städte. Auf nahezu 4000 Quadratmetern sorgen ein unterhaltsames Bühnenprogramm mit angesagten Music-Acts und zahlreiche Spielstationen in den TOGGO Themenwelten für Action und Mitmachspaß. Der Eintritt ist wie immer kostenlos.

Mit dabei ist der allseits beliebte Buzzer Run vom genialen Tüftler Woozle Goozle, bei dem sich alles um Ausdauer und Geschicklichkeit dreht. SpongeBob Schwammkopf lädt wieder zum spielerischen Säubern des Meeres ein. Neu mit im Gepäck sind unsere Spielstationen zur National Football League wie der NFL Football-Parcours, mit denen die Kinder voller Spaß an die Sportart herangeführt werden. Aber auch die große Drachenfels-Attraktion von "Dragons - Die 9 Welten" und Alvinnns Skateboard-Wahnsinn bringen jede Menge Action mit.

In der Toggolino Spaßwelt haben auch die ganz Kleinen einiges zu entdecken: Hier können sie auf der Toggolino Tollwiese springen, toben und hüpfen, die PAW Patrol Zentrale erklimmen oder mit Peppa einen Erlebnisparcours meistern. Die mutigen Welpen der PAW Patrol, Hello Kitty und John von der Dino Ranch schauen sogar persönlich vorbei. In diesem Jahr neu ist der begehbare Foodie Truck vom Krümelmonster.

Auf der großen Bühne führen unter anderem die bekannten TOGGO Gesichter Vanessa Civiello, Simón Albers, Florian Ambrosius und Moritz Bäckerling den ganzen Tag live durch das abwechslungsreiche Programm. Von Stadt zu Stadt präsentieren verschiedene Künstler:innen wie Daniele Puccia, HaoFX und Iggi Kelly im Doppelpack mit Eske Hohlen ihre neusten Songs und Influencer Jannik Freestyle zeigt seine coolen Fußballtricks. Für aufregenden Tanz- und Mitmachspaß sorgen außerdem D!'s Kids Club mit einer eigenen Choreografie zum TOGGO Song und der Auftritt von Toggolino. Abgerundet wird die Show durch ein interaktives Quiz und der Woozle Goozle Geburtstagsparty mit einem gemeinsamen Geburtstagtanz sowie der TOGGO Tour Hauptverlosung mit vielen tollen Gewinnen.

Abseits der Bühne soll in diesem Jahr auch die Verpflegung nicht zu kurz kommen. Ein umfangreiches Food-Angebot und der TOGGO "Limo-Garten" laden zum Verweilen ein.

Die Roadshow zieht ab Juni wieder durch zehn deutsche Städte

Zum 25. mal toggo tour.

Bereits zum 25. Mal beschert die TOGGO Tour Kindern und Familien jede Menge Spiel, Spaß und Action – und im Jubiläumsjahr wird sie noch bunter. Vom 1. Juni bis zum 22. September ist die Roadshow mit beliebten TV-Charakteren und coolen Stars wieder in ganz Deutschland unterwegs. In insgesamt zehn Städten, darunter Leipzig, Ingolstadt und Köln, können die kleinen Fans ihre Idole wieder persönlich treffen und sich auf den zahlreichen Spielstationen aus dem TOGGO Universum austoben. Eine Bühnenshow mit angesagten Acts und Mitmachaktionen rundet das Fest ab. Der Eintritt ist wie immer kostenlos.

Ein absolutes Highlight ist auch in diesem Jahr wieder der Buzzer Run vom cleveren Erfinder Woozle Goozle. Aber auch Alvinnns Skateboard-Wahnsinn sorgt für jede Menge Action. Das NFL Flag-Football-Modul bringt den Gästen die Sportart des American Football näher und der Skill Parcours nimmt sie direkt in die Welt der Seattle Seahawks sowie der New England Patriots mit. Zum ersten Mal mit dabei ist die Spielstation von Unicorn Academy, die Einhorn-Fans zum Basteln einlädt. Mit dem beliebten Meeresbewohner SpongeBob Schwammkopf kann jetzt auf einem noch größeren Modul spielerisch das Meer von Plastik befreit werden. Kinder und Familien haben außerdem auch wieder die Möglichkeit, Radio zum Reingucken mit der TOGGO Radiobox zu entdecken.

In der Toggolino Spaßwelt ist auch für die ganz Kleinen viel los: Auf der Toggolino Hüpfburg können sie spielen und toben, die PAW Patrol Zentrale erklimmen und mit Rubble und seiner Crew bauen, was das Zeug hält. Das Highlight: Die PAW Patrol, Peppa Pig, Hello Kitty, SpongeBob Schwammkopf und Toggolino kommen sogar persönlich vorbei.

The Ultimate One Day Itinerary for Leipzig, Germany’s Cultural Boomtown

Central Germany’s largest city seems to be a bit of a paradox: On the one hand, it’s the country’s fastest-growing city and a vibrant cultural hot-spot due to its large university and important role in the contemporary art scene, yet on the other hand it still appears to be something of a well-kept secret among foreign travelers.

I’ve been living in this phenomenal city for over a decade now, so I figured it’s about time I share my local knowledge with you by devising the perfect one-day itinerary to Leipzig. The city packs a high density of sights , though, and picking the right spots for a short stopover isn’t exactly easy. Accordingly, I haven’t included Museums, which usually take a lot of time to explore sufficiently.

That said, I’ve still mentioned some worth-wile nearby museums in the stops of the itinerary, so if you’ve got a day or two more to explore the city, I’d suggest you throw a few of those into the mix. As it stands, here’s my ultimate one-day itinerary for Leipzig.

The perfect one-day itinerary for Leipzig

Start your exploration at leipzig’s main station.

Start from the city’s impressive Main Station, finished in 1915 and still the largest railway station in all of Europe by floor area. Leave the station through the south-western exit and follow Nikolaistraße south until you reach the quaint Nikolaikirchhof.

Nikolaikirche

Central Leipzig’s largest church was originally erected in 1165 in a Romanic style and subsequently expanded several times over the centuries. Nowadays it’s mostly known for its historical role in the late GDR era as this is where the weekly peace demonstrations were held. The interior is constructed in a classicist style with the most famous features being the columns with palm-leaf-shaped capitals.

The former school-building directly to the north of the church contains the University’s Museum of Antiquities featuring a small yet fascinating exhibition of plaster casts, vases and other artefacts from the Roman, Greek and Etruscan Civilizations.

Augustusplatz

Continue south until you reach the pleasant pedestrian Grimmaische Straße and turn east to reach Augustusplatz, a square which is dominated by two important buildings related to Leipzig’s rich musical heritage.

To the north, you’ll find the Opera House , erected in 1960, while at the southern end of the square sits the Gewandhaus , a concert hall dating to 1981, which is the third and current home of the city’s famous Orchestra of the same name, which was once led by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.

The large glass-and-concrete tower to the south east used to belong to the University, which is why it’s still lovingly referred to as Weisheitszahn (Wisdom Tooth) by the locals (Get It?). Bad puns aside, the building’s top floor holds a viewing platform , which offers fantastic prospects of the city centre as well as the northern, western and southern suburbs.

Market and Old Town Hall

Backtrack to Augustusplatz and continue west along Grimmaische Straße until you reach Leipzig’s central Market Square, which is dominated by the impressive Old Town Hall , erected in 1557 in a Renaissance Style. If it seems particularly aesthetically pleasing to you, it might be due to the fact that it was constructed following the conventions of the Golden Ratio.

Since the city’s administration moved to a new building in the early 20 th century, the old town hall serves as the home for Leipzig’s fascinating Museum of City History , detailing the development of the city over the last 900 years.

Those interested in more contemporary history could check out the exhibition at Zeitgeschichtliches Forum , facing the southern end of the town hall, which focuses on the GDR-era of German history and can be visited free of charge.

Don’t miss the pretty baroque-era Old Stock Exchange building on the small square behind the Town Hall (to the east). The statue in front of it depicts the famous German playwright, poet and novelist Johann Wolfgang Goethe.

Lunch Break: Barfußgässchen or Auerbachs Keller

If you need a refuel before continuing your explorations, Barfußgässchen leading west from the northern half of the market square features Central Leipzig’s highest concentration of bars and restaurants. Alternatively, you could grab a bite at Auerbachs Keller , the city’s most famous (read: touristic) restaurant, which is even featured as a location in Goethe’s play Faust.

The eponymous main character is depicted together with his enabler Mephistopheles at the entrance to the underground restaurant. You can find the restaurant directly south of the town hall inside the Mädlerpassage arcade.

Thomaskirche and Bach-Memorial

If you continue west from the southern edge of the market square, you’ll encounter Leipzig’s other famous church. The beautiful Thomaskirche is where Johann Sebastian Bach served as a cantor in the early 18 th century and where you’ll find the famous baroque era composer’s grave . If you look closely, you’ll also spot his face in one of the detailed stained glass windows along the southern wall of the church.

Another famous architectural feature is the beautifully intricate rib-vaulted ceiling . On the little square directly south of the church you’ll find a Statue of Bach , while his old living quarters on the opposite side of the road serve as the Bach Museum , where you can get acquainted with the life and works of the composer.

New Town Hall

Continue south along Burgstraße until you reach Leipzig’s imposing New Town Hall. Built at the turn of the 20 th century , it’s been the seat of the cities administration since 1905 replacing the Old Town Hall on the market square. The impressive building designed by local architect Hugo Licht stands at the location of the former Pleißenburg fortress and incorporates stylistic elements from the previous building accounting for its somewhat martial appearance .

Völkerschlachtdenkmal

Now that you’ve thoroughly explored central Leipzig, walk east to the subterranean Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz train station and take the suburban train S1 or S2 to the towering Völkerschlachtdenkmal (Monument of the Battle of Nations) south-east of the centre.

The humongous Memorial to the Battle of Nations fought in 1813 is not only Europe’s largest monument and an impressive (if somewhat grim) feat of architecture, but also affords amazing views of the surrounding area and back to the city centre from the viewing platform at its top.

Karl-Liebknecht-Straße

What better place to end a day of restless exploration than Leipzig’s very own counter-cultural quarter? The Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, lovingly dubbed “Karli” by locals and expats alike is where you’ll find the city’s highest density of restaurants and bars as well as countless instances of street art and architectural leftovers from the GDR era.

To reach it, take the suburban train to the MDR-Stop and walk west along Kurt-Eisner-Straße until you reach the big avenue running in a north-south direction . When it comes to places to eat, you’ll be confronted with the paradox of choice, as you’ll find anything from hearty German fare, to vegan eateries, to food from all around the world.

Dig in and rest in the knowledge that you’ve seen all the must-visit places the city has to offer.

Having lived in Leipzig for almost 16 years, I can fully support that list as a great way to spend a day (better yet, a weekend) in this remarkable town.

As an alternative to the history-heavy sights in the city center, and as a great way to catch some air, I’d like to suggest a walk through the green heart of the town – the riparian forest of Leipzig, biggest of its kind in all of Europe and situated just 10 minutes east of the New Town Hall (itself actually holding the world record for biggest Town Hall by floor area and number of rooms and its tower can be visited for another view atop the city). There you’d also find the Horseracing ground ‘Scheibenholz’ with its main building, the Clara-Zetkin-Park (home to the Saxo-Thuringian Industry- and Tradefair in 1897), remnants of the Palmengarten (devasteted in 1940 to prepair for the – ultimately cancelled – giant Richard-Wagner-Monument) and, if sport history is among your interests, the former Zentralstadion, which used to be THE biggest stadium in both West- and East-Germany, having once hosted 110.000 people at once before its renovation for the Football Worldcup in 2006. From there, you could walk through the Waldstraßenviertel, an almost completely intact quarter of buildings from the Gründerzeit, and via the Rosental (planned by August the Strong to be the building ground for a pleasure castle à la Versailles, but prevented by the townspeople, claiming all sorts of issues with the soil, nasty insects and such^^), taking a glimpse into the famous Zoo and re-entering the city center from the north.
