How to get tickets for Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance UK tour

It’s finally happening, folks

Huw Oliver

Calling all members of the Bey Hive: the time has finally come. Beyoncé has announced that she will be touring her latest album, ‘Renaissance’, released in July last year. Much to our delight, the superstar confirmed the live dates were happening at the Wearable Art Gala in California on October 22, and now the European and North American legs of the Renaissance World Tour have been announced.

There is a huge amount of hype around Bey returning to British shores, and people are already calling for the star to add more dates to her tour to satisfy demand.  There’s been a serious scramble for tickets so far, with many fans complaining on Twitter that they were kicked out before reaching the front of the presale queue.

RECOMMENDED: The best Beyoncé songs of all time

We expect that when the general tickets finally drop for ‘Renaissance’ in the UK they will sell out mega fast, so make sure to keep an eye out and plan ahead. H ere’s everything you need to know about Beyoncé’s 2023 UK shows.

When do Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour tickets go on sale?

Who will support Beyoncé on her tour?

Now that the tour has been announced, there has been a lot of speculation around who Bey will be choosing to follow her around the world to open the show for her.

There have been rumours that Beyoncé has been considering British girl group Flo, who will receive the Rising Star Award at the 2023 Brit Awards. Other potential openers who will join Bey on stage are the Nigerian singer Tems, as well as English singer and rapper Bree Runway.

When did Beyonce last tour in the UK?

Beyoncé’s last tour in the UK was back in 2018 with her husband Jay-Z for her show ‘On The Run II’. The couple performed a total of six acts that included a mix of both of the stars’ songs such as ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘99 Problems’ and ‘Run the World (Girls)’.

They started the tour in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London before moving onto the rest of Europe and finishing the tour back in the USA.

Before that, Bey toured the UK in 2016 with The Formation World Tour in support of her album ‘Lemonade’.

Hmm I wonder if the woman who keeps banging on about Brown Skin and being an African Queen will actually go to the African continent with her tour because she never has before, which I always thought was funny considering how much she reveres it. Overrated anyway.

beyonce dubai performance

As expected, Beyoncé has announced a 2023 world tour on Instagram, supporting her multiple-Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “Renaissance.” She also released the dates and cities on her official website.

The timing of the announcement, which comes just days before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, sparks speculation that the singer may perform or at least appear on the show. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist for the awards with nine, all related to “ Renaissance .” Sources tell Variety that her husband Jay-Z will perform with DJ Khaled on the show, most likely their nominated song “God Did.”

Popular on Variety

Beyoncé has said that “Renaissance” is a three-part project, so it’s possible that the next parts could be another album, a long-form video project or even the tour itself.

Beyoncé’s last full tour was the nearly six-month, 49-date “Formation” tour in 2016, which unusually featured no guest appearances until the final show, at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where she brought out Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.

She did, however, stage an epochal “Homecoming” headlining performance at the 2018 Coachella festival — which was postponed from 2017 due to the birth of her and Jay’s twins — for which she was accompanied by a full marching band in a nod to historically Black colleges and universities. That blockbuster performance was later released as the “Homecoming” album and — via a three-project deal with Netflix that sources tell Variety is worth $60 million — a feature-length documentary. It seems possible that a future “Renaissance” video project could be part of that deal as well.

Ariana Grande Teases 'The Boy Is Mine' Music Video: See the Preview

See latest videos, charts and news

The announcement photo may look familiar to fans, as she donned the same glittery attire on the cover of her seventh studio album. Bey also added “Renaissance World Tour” on her Instagram bio, further accenting the news. Last week, Beyonce performed a full concert for the first time in four years at a luxury resort in Dubai in front of influencers and journalists. The 19-song set included a collaboration with her oldest daughter Blue Ivy as the two performed “Brown Skin Girl,” which earned them a Grammy two years ago for best music video.

Crowned a triumphant win by music lovers, Renaissance stormed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year and rattled off two Hot 100 top 10 hits, including her chart-topper “Break My Soul.” The dance-centric album also notched nine Grammy nominations, the most for any nominee for this year’s ceremony. Bey is looking to rack up more trophy wins, as she currently sits at a staggering 28 wins. Nominated for album of the year, song, and record of the year, Bey is facing some stout competition , especially in the former. The R&B juggernaut will tango against Adele, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, and more for album of the year. A win in this category would serve as Beyonce’s first. The 65th Grammy Awards will occur Sunday night in Los Angeles at 8 pm EST.

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, Rolling Stone may receive an affiliate commission.

Please don’t be alarmed and try to remain calm — nearly six years since her last solo trek, Beyoncé is back and (hopefully) heading to a city near you before wrapping her tour this fall. The superstar announced her massive Renaissance world tour back in February, marking Beyoncé’s first global solo tour in support of her seventh album of the same name. With the tour winding down, there’s only a few weeks left to score Beyoncé tickets . Get Beyoncé Tickets on Vivid Seats

With the final month of the Renaissance tour approaching, Beyoncé shared a statement on Instagram that “Virgo Season is upon us.” She continued: “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22! We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo Season together in the house of chrome. See you there! Your B at RWT.”

Ticket registration and sales for Beyoncé’s tour were previously split into three different groups, and now Beyoncé tickets are on sale for all remaining dates, including on Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats .

Renaissance World Tour 2023 North America Dates

Wondering if Beyoncé is playing a show in your area? Below are the remaining cities the Grammy winner will visit for the 2023 North American leg of the Renaissance tour . Beyoncé previously also added an additional three shows to the tour, including Atlanta (8/14/23), Las Vegas, (8/27/23), and Inglewood, CA (9/4/23).

Not surprisingly, Ticketmaster said it saw a massive demand for the Renaissance tour in a blog on its website. “Fan demand already exceeds the number of tickets available by more than 800% based on the registration numbers in the Group A cities. It is expected that many interested fans may not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply.”

While we won’t give too much away about the Renaissance tour set list (though you’ve likely seen much of it on TikTok), you can hear more about the show in Rolling Stone Music Now ‘s podcast episode . It’s a deep-dive into what fans can expect during the concert. In short, you can likely plan to hear everything from deep cuts like opener “Dangerously in Love,” along with Renaissance tracks like “Alien Superstar,” “Cuff It,” and closer “Summer Renaissance.” Plus: “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “1+1,” and more.

When Are Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Tickets On Sale?

According to Ticketmaster at the time, “Beyoncé is distributing tickets in three different Verified Fan sales: BeyHive Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan; Citi Presale powered by Verified Fan and the General Verified Fan Onsale. Additionally, there will be a Verizon Up Presale. Registration windows vary by city, so check the schedule below and be sure to note when the window closes for the show you’re interested in attending.”

In other words, if you tried to register for Verified Fan presale, you needed to see which group your city was a part of ahead of time. Group A registration was open until Feb. 2, with Group B registration previously scheduled until Feb. 9, and Group C until Feb. 16.

European dates started in May, and Beyoncé embarked on the North American leg of the Renaissance tour over the summer, including stops in Toronto (read our Renaissance tour review ), Los Angeles, Houston, and New Orleans. Though Beyoncé headlined a show in Dubai — her first concert in four years at the time — she didn’t play any songs from Renaissance , Rolling Stone ‘s No. 1 album of 2022 (“the musical highlight of the year”) and a frontrunner at the 65th Grammys .

When Beyoncé dropped Renaissance last summer, Rolling Stone ‘s Mankaprr Conteh wrote that “Beyoncé flung open the doors to a nightclub of her own making, a place where anyone can be the hottest person in the galaxy … the album traverses eras of dance music to conjure the superhuman confidence and deeply human connection of a night out. The thematic triumph of the auteur’s seventh album is this union of the extraordinary and the earthly across it, a duality that lives on the dancefloors Renaissance was inspired by — and in all of us.”

How to Get Beyoncé Tickets With BeyHive Verified Fan Registration

BeyHive Verified Fan Presale started Feb. 6 for those who registered in Group A, followed by Groups B and C.

The first round of the BeyHive presale arrived just one day after Beyoncé made Grammys history on Feb. 5. With 32 wins under her belt, Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy Awards in music history, winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album for Renaissance .

“I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching,” Queen Bey said during her acceptance speech. “I’d like to thank the queer community, for your love, and for inventing this genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys.”

While Renaissance didn’t win a trophy for Album of the Year , Beyoncé still took home a slew of other awards, including Best R&B Song for “Cuff It,” Best Dance/Electronic Record for “Break My Soul,” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off the Sofa.”

“You changed my life,” Lizzo told Beyoncé during her Grammys acceptance speech for her Record of the Year win. “You sang that gospel medley, and the way you made me feel, I was like, ‘I want to make people feel this way with my music.’ So thank you so much. You clearly are the artist of our lives.”

Beyonce: Huge rush to book Renaissance world tour tickets crashes O2 Priority website and app

beyonce world tour o2

A huge rush to buy tickets for the UK leg of Beyonce ’s Renaissance world tour led to the O2 Priority website crashing on Thursday morning.

Minutes after the coveted tickets went on pre-sale at 10am, despairing fans complained about the booking website and app going down, while others said queues of 200,000 people were already in the queue ahead of them.

O2 issued an apology to customers struggling to secure tickets amid the “huge” demand, and assured some people were managing to make bookings.

Beyonce delighted fans on Sunday by announcing a world tour - her first in seven years - to promote the release of her latest album, Renaissance .

It will see her peform six concerts in the UK in late May and early June, including three at London ’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as well as shows in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Sunderland.

Tickets went on pre-sale to O2 Priority customers at 10am on Thursday, five days before they go on general sale on February 7.

But fans reported the app and website had crashed even before the pre-sale began.

Other social media users reported how they managed to get through to the ticket-booking site before being “kicked out”, while others reported huge queues of people waiting to access the website.

“Tickets aren’t selling, had them 3 times in my basket and it wouldn’t let me check out,” wrote one fan on Twitter.

“My sister managed two tickets. I had them in my basket twice and then error as I went to pay,” said another.

Beyoncé Has Announced London Dates For Her ‘Renaissance’ World Tour

Beyoncé is hitting London in May this year in support of her latest album 'Renaissance' - catch her waltzing into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for two nights.

Jack Saddler

Get ready to have your souls broken: Beyoncé is coming back into town. In support of last year’s critically-acclaimed album Renaissance , the superstar is heading back out on the road for a world tour, with two nights in London coming up.

Kicking off in May is the European leg of Beyoncé’s tour – after nights in Cardiff and Edinburgh, she will hit London for two nights at the 62,000 capacity stadium of Tottenham Hotspur football club on May 29-30 .

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce)

Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Beyoncé released a post that simply read: “RENAISSCANCE WORLD TOUR 2023,” with a suitably iconic photo of the artist atop of a silver horse; much like the recent album cover. Her website gives a full list of tour dates. Tickets for UK shows can be purchased here , with the main sale commencing on February 7 (though a number of pre-sales from O2, BeyHive, and Live Nation are taking place before this date).

The Renaissance tour marks Beyoncé’s first major outings since her co-headline On The Run II set of dates with husband Jay-Z, which saw the two artists play a duo of nights at the London Stadium. Beyoncé’s last solo UK tour dates back to 2016, when London was treated to two nights at Wembley Stadium in support of her album Lemonade . Last month, the singer did perform her first concert in four years in Dubai, but no material from Renaissance was performed.

Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022 ; and marked Beyoncé’s fourth UK number one album. Following its release, Beyoncé was nominated for a 2023 BRIT Award for Best International Artist . She is also nominated for nine Grammy awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year .

Andre Jose Marshall II and Amari Marshall Andre was the brother of Amari, who is a lead dancer on Beyoncé’s tour. After Andre died in June at the age of 32, Beyoncé dedicated “My Power” to him at a stop in Hamburg, Germany.

Andrew Makadsi Makadsi operates as creative director for Parkwood Entertainment, and earned an Emmy nomination in 2019 for outstanding production design for his work on Beyoncé’s concert documentary “Homecoming.” He is credited with “additional creative direction” on the Renaissance tour.

“Badu, Badu, Badu, Badu” The snub that launched a thousand Lizzo think pieces. During the live remix of “ Break My Soul ,” Beyoncé shouts out artists that have influenced or inspired her over her career. She normally includes Lizzo, but after former dancers for the “About Damn Time” singer filed a suit alleging sexual harassment , Beyoncé did a version where she put soul siren Erykah Badu’s name on loop. (Lizzo returned to the list on later shows).

Blue Ivy Carter

Blue Ivy Carter Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 11-year-old daughter — and a fan-favorite dancer on the Renaissance tour.

Carlos Basquiat A ballroom dancer from the House of Basquiat on HBO’s competition show “Legendary,” and one of the “dolls” dancing with Beyoncé on tour.

Jean-Michel Basquiat The late New York artist, beloved by Bey and Jay-Z, made a controversial cameo with the two in a Tiffany ad that re-did an unseen painting of his in the firm’s trademark blue. Beyoncé cheekily referenced him again on “ I’m That Girl ,” where she sings she’s “beating down the block knocking Basquiats off the wall.”

David Koma The Georgian former creative director of Mugler designed the electric-chartreuse tableau for Bey’s 2022 Oscars performance (sadly upstaged by the Slap). On the “Renaissance” tour, he’s behind a shimmery, prismatic coat and dress.

Three women in an R&B singing group wearing black dresses

Destiny’s Child The bestselling girl group whose most famous lineup featured Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Beyoncé opens her set with their 2001 song “ Dangerously in Love ,” which was repurposed for Bey’s own album of the same title in 2003.

Donna Summers

Donna Summer The resplendent ‘70s disco queen provided the floor-filling sample material for “ Summer Renaissance ,” but Summer’s vision for Black and queer club music informed the whole “Renaissance” project, right down to the Studio 54-era crystal horse Bey rides.

“Drunk in Love” Beyoncé’s euphoric collaboration with Jay-Z, released in 2013. The song has been absent for the majority of the tour, save for opening night in Stockholm and a mid-August date in Atlanta. Will it find a place in the SoFi set list?

“Everybody on mute” When Beyoncé sings the line during her performance of “Energy,” she expects the audience to follow her direction and refrain from making a sound. Don’t get yelled at for breaking the silence!

“Get your fork and your spoon” For everyone wondering where the “Renaissance” music videos are hiding, during the show Bey projects a brief text message stating, with delightfully profane brevity, that you will eat when she tells you to.

Grace Jones One of Beyoncé’s formative ‘70s and ‘80s influences, Jones is an icon of music, fashion, film and vibes across decades (and just performed at WeHo pride this year). Jones famously turned down just about every contemporary collaboration offered to her, but finally caved to join Bey on “ Move .” -AB

Honey Balenciaga

Honey Balenciaga A ballroom dancer on the tour who stole the show at opening night in Stockholm.

Honey Dijon A modern master of house and club music and a groundbreaking Black trans artist, Bey tapped her for production and writing on “Cozy” and “Alien Superstar.”

Jay-Z Beyonce’s billionaire husband, and one of the greatest rappers the world has seen. He’s been in attendance for most of the tour — and was spotted next to Megan thee Stallion in Paris — and will probably pop up for the L.A. run, given he and his wife just spent $200 million on a Malibu mansion.

Jill Scott “Jilly from Philly,” as Beyoncé lovingly referred to her on the remix to “Break My Soul.” When Scott stopped by the tour’s Philadelphia show, the R&B singer’s admiration for Beyoncé was indescribable: “I didn’t get a chance to see Michael Jackson, I didn’t get a chance to see James Brown, I didn’t get a chance to see Tina Turner, but I got a chance to see Beyoncè tonight,” she said of the experience.

KENDRICK LAMAR

Kendrick Lamar Compton-born superstar rapper who remixed Beyoncé’s “ America Has a Problem ” (and previously featured on “Nile” and “Freedom.”) Although he hasn’t popped out on the tour, Beyoncé danced over a recording to his verse since it dropped in May.

Kevin JZ Prodigy The Philly-born ballroom commentator whose voice is sampled at the start of Beyoncé’s “Pure/Honey.” He’s also narrated much of the Renaissance tour.

KNTY4NEWS One of the funniest bits in the “Renaissance” live show finds Bey broadcasting from behind a TV news desk with, shall we say, NSFW call letters.

Les Twins Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois are two outrageously limber, identical twin French dancers and choreographers who flank Bey during much of her live show.

Madonna

Madonna Beyoncé sampled Madonna’s “Vogue” for “Break My Soul (The Queens Remix).” Beyoncé gave the pop legend a shout-out at her New Jersey stop, and posed with her and her daughters after the show.

Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly In 2019, Beyoncé covered R&B stalwart Maze’s sparkling “ Before I Let Go ,” and sang it live for the first time in Stockholm on opening night.

Megan Thee Stallion Houston-born rapper who collaborated (and won a Grammy) with Beyoncé on “ Savage ” in 2020.

Michael Jackson Beyoncé has mixed “Break My Soul” with the Jacksons’ “ Shake Your Body ,” and blended “ Love on Top ” with the Jackson 5’s “ I Want You Back .”

Mugler by Casey Cadwallader Cadwallader, the creative director for Mugler, designed the perilous-looking metal bustier Bey wore for much of “Renaissance’s” promo imagery.

Nina Simone

Nina Simone An American jazz and civil rights titan whose uncompromising virtuosity, political fury and tender melancholy informs Beyoncé’s whole career, and who gets a well-deserved “Break My Soul” name-drop.

Reneigh The Beyhive decided that the crystal horse from “Renaissance’s” cover needed a name, and lo and behold, she is now Reneigh.

Rose Royce L.A.-based disco and funk band who shined in the 1970s. Mary J. Blige had a signature hit in 1994 with a cover of the group’s “ I’m Going Down ,” and Beyoncé has been performing it on the Renaissance tour.

Shiona Turini Turini has helped put together Bey’s globe-trotting wardrobe alongside co-stylists Julia Starr-Jamois, Karen Langley and KJ Moody.

“ Thique ” “Renaissance” track added to the show’s set list in Atlanta for the first time since opening night.

Tina Turner

Tina Turner Beyoncé pays nightly tribute to the late “Queen of Rock & Roll” by covering one of her signature songs, “River Deep, Mountain High.”

Uncle Johnny Technically Tina Knowles’ nephew, this beloved family figure introduced a teen Beyoncé to house music. She’s called him “the most fabulous gay man I have ever met, who helped raise me and my sister.”

Virgo Season Sorry Leos, your time is up, and it is now the era of perfectionist Virgos like Bey to shine. She wrote a whole song about it — “ Virgo’s Groove ” — and is asking fans to come bedecked in silver for the whole season of shows.

Beyoncé Gifted Kamala Harris $1.6K Tickets to the Renaissance World Tour

Financial disclosure reports for Harris also showed that she was gifted tickets by ESPN to a college game featuring her alma mater

Kamala Harris received a noteworthy gift from Beyoncé last year.

The vice president, 59, was given tickets to Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour concert from the singer herself, according to financial disclosure reports released on Wednesday, May 15, and obtained by NBC News .

The concert tickets were valued at $1,655.92.

Financial disclosures from President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris are released annually, and neither reported any conflicts of interest this past year, per NBC.

Harris previously shared a glimpse into what she and husband Doug Emhoff wore for the concert held at FedExField in Landover, Maryland, on social media.

In the photo from August, she posed in a sparkly button-up top with white wide-leg pants and matching gold pointy-toe shoes and jewelry, while Emhoff opted for a black blazer over a white dress shirt and dark pants with navy blue sneakers.

“Thanks for a fun date night, @Beyonce !” Harris wrote on Instagram and Twitter (now known as X).

She also shared in an interview with PEOPLE in October that one of the songs on the Renaissance album, “ Break My Soul ,” was particularly special to her.

“I just love that song,” Harris admitted. “I play it all the time. I think it’s one of the anthems for women . . . when [Beyoncé says] ‘you,’ you could be life, you could be a person, you could be a situation. You will not break my soul. I can endure.”

Harris’ financial disclosure reports also revealed that she received tickets to an HBCU Celebration Bowl courtesy of ESPN. The game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta featured her alma mater Howard University as they played against Florida A&M. Those tickets were priced at $1,890.

She and Emhoff reported an income of $117,000 from royalties and cash and retirement accounts, according to NBC News. Their financial holdings tallied about $2.89 million after selling and trading stocks last year, per the outlet.

As for the president and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden , they reported financial holdings of at least $1 million, and also shared that they owed between $375,000 and $815,000 in mortgages and loans, the outlet reported.
