The guide said he was, but he had to bribe his way into every location because he didn’t have the credentials. He knew only primary school facts about the sites and avoided questions. At times, the information I received was very different from what museum information stated. Some of the sites, the guide had never visited previously. His English was mediocre at best. One day was for Alexandria. We spent 6+ hours driving, and when we got to the famous library, I could not enter the museum because he bought a ticket only to view the regular community library section! Wild! They took me to the pyramids of Giza, but they only allowed for 30 minutes there. STOP 1: Cheops Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of King Cheops is the only still-standing wonder of the ancient wonders of the world. The Pyramid is 4600 years old and made of 3 million blocks of limestone.

STOP 2: Queens’ Pyramids & Cheops Solar Boat

The 3 little Pyramids of Cheops’ Queens, his daughter, and two of his wives. He built smaller Pyramids for them. You will probably get inside one of them. The Solar Boat of King Cheops (optional stop)

STOP 3: Panorama Photo Stop

We stop to see the Panoramic view of the 3 pyramids of the Kings and take a great photo with them in the background.

STOP 7: Islamic Medieval Cairo

Al-Qahira is an old fortified city that was built around 1000 years ago with large solid fortified walls. The name Al-Qahira which means the almighty undefeated city was given to the city which was translated as Cairo later. The name Cairo “Al-Qahira” Did not exist before building this fortified city. We will walk on El-Muez Street, watch the old large mosques, and get inside one mosque.

STOP 8: Khan El-Khalili Tourist Bazaar

The bazaar is the oldest tourist bazaar in Egypt. It is an open area souq. Khan El-Khalili is a must-see attraction as the buildings date back to the medieval era with beautiful architecture & design.

Hamada was incredible! So knowledgeable and kind. He had information about every item, street corner, and relic we looked at. Any questions we had, he had answers! Delicious food!! We tried Egyptian fried chicken, falafel for the first time, the best shawarma in the city (we love food). Tourism Police : : Responsible to keep the low and order, and to receive and check any compline from the passengers, their location is in the baggage claim area and in the meeters area in the arrival hall next to the information desk.

Left behind

Left behind bags is examined by tripartite committee from police, CAC security and customs. In case of valuable items kept in customs stores, other items sent to the left behind department in TB1 .

Lost & Found

In case of the passengers loses his bag he have to follow the following steps after making a report upon arrive, and receiving a call from the airline: • Proceed to the lost baggage office in the arrival hall outside the customs zone • A special pass issued to enter the customs zone to collect the bag, 24 hours after arrival. • After collecting the bag proceed to customs area for inspection and pay the customs clearance, if any.

Cairo International Airport history started in the forties of the last century when the American Bayn Field air-force base was established five kilometers far from Almaza Airport to serve the Alliance during the Second World War. The American forces left the base by the end of the war.

In 1945, the Civil Aviation Authority took over the base and allocated it to the International Civil Aviation. The Airport was called "King Farouk 1st Airport". In the meantime, Almaza Airport was dedicated to the domestic flights.
