Two words: Christina Heng - our travel agent was gracious and accommodating. Unfortunately I never had the chance to meet her as she was on maternity-leave at the time (Sept. 2011). So we had to deal with another agent - Ms. Heng had already booked our flight. This particular agent was very rude and condescending. My grandmother had set-up a payment plan to pay for our tickets and waited for me to arrive from Dallas. So I can pay the remainder - she's retired living on a fixed income. I arrived and called to speak to Christina Heng. All three times we were hung up on. So I called Christina's cell and spoke to her personally she informed us she was on maternity leave. But to go to the Five Oceans Tours office on N. Broadway in the heart of China Town and pay & pick-up our tickets. Call her when we get there so she can personally speak to the hang up the phone idiot. We got there, called Christina, Christina called idiot - paid, picked up and left. I would've given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the hang up idiot and the horrible seats we were given. I would use this place again if I don't have to deal with the hang up idiot. Just ask for Christina Heng she's pleasant and speaks multiple languages.

After departing from Kewalo Basin Basin, the expert captain and crew cruise over to Turtle Canyon where you will enjoy approximately one hour of snorkeling among the Hawaiian green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish. After snorkeling, relax on the boat deck as you cruise back to the harbor.

• Parking is available at Kewalo Basin Boat Harbor for $1.00 per hour. Pay machines accept cash and credit card. Please allow additional time to find parking or consider taking a taxi or rideshare service.

• This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
• Children 3 years old and above can participate in this activity.
• If you are running late and do not arrive at the boat prior to the start of the passenger safety briefing, your ticket will be forfeited. Refunds cannot be processed for no-shows or late arrivals, so please plan accordingly and arrive on time.
• Living Ocean Tours requires basic swimming ability for anyone wishing to enter the water on this trip. If you do not know how to swim, you will need to stay on the boat, but can enjoy seeing turtles that come to the surface to breathe.
• Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the snorkeling trip. Guests who arrive and are under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted aboard.

This cruise was so much fun. The crew was really friendly and there were about 3-4 crew in the water with us which made novice snorkelers more comfortable. Overall, loved this cruise. Tips: -This boat departs from Ke ... walo Basin Harbor. The parking lot was crowded so Uber/Lyft or taxi is best. -Bring sunscreen, towel, change of clothes for after After we finished the snorkel sail, we headed over to Kakaako to grab lunch!

Everything was well organized and staff was professional. The beat part of this trip is that this is one of the first boats out to turtle canyon before the circus arrives. Get in early and get out while there are few peo ... ple in the water.

Kona is renowned for its crystal clear waters and diverse wild life.  We are fortunate to be located, quite literally, next door to Mauna Loa, the “largest mountain” in the world and this creates the Kona coast pelagic zone which is populated with amazing coastal and large oceanic wildlife within miles of our coastline. All this is due to, Mauna Loa’s gradual slope to the sea floor. 

Our experienced Captain and Crew are ready to take you from Honokohau Harbor along our coastline to look for our “Kona Big 5”: Marine mammals, Sharks, Manta or Eagle rays, Turtles, and tropical reef fish. 

This 5-hour adventure will take you out into the “blue” to look for: pelagic mammals, sharks, and fish species.  After our pelagic encounters, we then head back nearer the coastline to snorkel  Manta Ray cleaning stations, where reef turtles often frequent, and then to a “century reef” with over 100 different species of fish.  Lunch will be served while we are snorkeling on the reef for you to enjoy at your leisure. 

Enjoy a coastline tour on the way back to the marina with our beautiful and impressive lava rock shoreline.

Clutch Announce Co-Headlining Tour With Rival Sons in 2024

I t’s going to be an excellent fall season for hard rock fans! Hard rock/blues rock icons Clutch and Rival Sons are going to kick off an extensive co-headlining tour of the US and Canada in September and October of this year. 

The tour will be a dual celebration of Clutch’s 2004 album Blast Tyrant and Rival Sons’ 2014 album Great Western Valkyrie for their 20th and 10th anniversaries, respectively. Plus, the bands will bring along Fu Manchu and Black Stone Cherry as supporting acts.

The Rival Sons and Clutch 2024 Tour will kick off on September 5 in Brooklyn, New York at Brooklyn Paramount with support from Fu Manchu. The tour will close on October 12 in Sacramento, California at Aftershock Festival.

There are no current presale events for this tour and it looks like tickets are available for public sale. Fans can get their tickets through Rival Sons’ website or Clutch’s website , as well as Ticketmaster .
