French The Kid ’s grind continues at an impressive rate. It was only this time last year that he released his debut album,  Never Been Ordinary , but he’s back with his new mixtape,  No Signal .

We got our first taste of the project back in October with “White Wine”, followed by “Snow” in December, “Single Player” in February and then the solemn visuals for “Quiet Kid Freestyle” a couple of weeks ago. Even with all that going on, he still found time to drop collabs with Rema, KR$NA, Russ Millions, A1 x J1, and Jul. Now, however, he’s fully back into mixtape mode.

No Signal features 18 tracks and it sees him stretching out into slightly different territory, folding new influences into his brand of UK rap. On “Notice Me”, for example, French takes an almost grungey root, showing off his singing chops on the hook and supplementing the drill elements with a meaty guitar riff. Although this is still most definitely a rap project, his singing is a recurring theme throughout, as is the sombre production style and mellow piano keys.

Somewhat surprisingly, there aren’t any guest artists featured on the set, and French has kept the production team relatively trim given the length of the project with beats coming from Love Life, Ben Stancombe, twin two, Prodag, Cdot, chucks, M1OnTheBeat, and Kos Finger.

To celebrate the release of No Signal , French The Kid will be taking the new tracks on the road for a UK and European tour throughout May and June, including 11 UK dates followed by shows in France, Germany, and the Netherlands. You can find details of the tour here  and on his socials.

There’s nothing like a mother’s Louvre.

Jennifer Lopez and her 16-year-old child Emme sweetly held hands while visiting the Louvre Museum on Thursday during a family trip to Paris.

Lopez, 54, and the teen held on to each other and had serious expressions on their faces as fans and paparazzi flocked around them.

They were surrounded by a team of security guards while walking to the museum to soak up the Parisian culture with a private tour.

At one point, the duo was spotted holding hands inside, too, and they appeared to be laughing and in high spirits when they exited.

J.Lo looked très chic in an oversize white button-up shirt and baggy dark-wash jeans layered under a black trench coat.

The pop star pulled her outfit together with casual while sneakers and a white Hermès Birkin bag.

Wearing her hair loosely pulled back in a ponytail, she also accessorized with big white and gold sunglasses and large gold hoop earrings.

Emme, meanwhile, looked cool and laid-back in a textured pink button-down tee, mid-rise barrel jeans and navy Converse sneakers.

Lopez and Emme also were spotted strolling through the Marais district of Paris and dining at the posh restaurant LouLou.

The Grammy nominee’s artful outing comes just days after she co-hosted the 2024 Met Gala in New York City.

She attended the star-studded event Monday night wearing a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown covered in rhinestones and pearls.

The sheer mermaid-style gown took 800 hours of hand embroidery work to complete.

Lopez was also dripping in more than 100 carats of diamonds by Tiffany & Co. for the fashion fundraiser.

The dress didn’t quite align with the soirée’s theme, “ Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion ,” though she still made quite an impression.

"Shai is a really curious kid, I'd love to take her to all famous landmarks and take pictures" - Naomi Osaka

N aomi Osaka spoke up about wanting to make memories with her daughter Shai on the WTA Tour. The Japanese's words came at a press conference following her 2-6, 4-6 loss to Zheng Qinwen in the fourth round of the ongoing Italian Open.

Osaka returned to action at the start of the 2024 season after her maternity leave, during which she welcomed her and partner Cordae's daughter Shai to the world in July last year. Since making her comeback to the tour, the former WTA World No. 1 has said on multiple occasions that she misses Shai.

For instance, at a presser ahead of the Qatar Open in February, the four-time Major winner had hinted at Shai accompanying her during the ongoing season's European swing . However, despite the swing being well underway, the little one has not shown up yet, but that is likely to change sooner rather than later.

Following her fourth-round loss to Zheng in Rome, Osaka said that Shai is a "curious kid". The Japanese also shared her intent to visit famous landmarks on the tour with Shai and capture special moments that they can look back on together after her daughter grows up.

"Shai is a really curious kid. I mean, she's still a baby. She likes to look at things. She probably won't remember, but I would love to take her to all the famous landmarks and take pictures so I can show her when she grows up. But she's probably going to do that every year, so... It's going to be her first year, so it's a special one," Osaka said.

Naomi Osaka had earlier said during the Italian Open that Shai would be accompanying her to the 2024 French Open

Osaka's straightforward win over Clara Burel in the first round of the Italian Open helped her set up a clash against No. 19 seed Marta Kostyuk. The Japanese went into her match against the Ukrainian with a poor record; she had never defeated a top 20 player on clay.

However, Osaka made short work of Kostyuk . During the post-match press conference, she said that Shai would be traveling with her during the French Open.

"I'm just really excited to learn more about clay court and develop and go to Paris. Shai is coming to Paris, so that's something that's keeping me very, I don't know, happy," Osaka said.

The main draw matches at this year's French Open are scheduled to start on Sunday, May 26.
