This facility is the only Kia manufacturing plant in the United States and the only automaker in Georgia.  With an annual capacity of more than 350,000 vehicles, Kia Georgia is home of the Telluride, Sorento, Sportage, and the K5 midsize sedan, some of the brand’s top-selling models in the United States. This advanced manufacturing facility represents a total investment of $2.8 billion on a 2,200 acre site and employs 3,200 team members.

Kia Georgia has produced more than 4 million vehicles since they began mass production in November 2009.  Tour attendees will see the entire manufacturing process  --   from rolled metal all the way to the finished product using high-tech stamping, weld shop advanced robotics, and highly automated assembly processes to produce the finished vehicle.  They produce a vehicle every 52 seconds utilizing three full shifts operating at the plant 24 hours a day/five days per week.

TOUR REQUIREMENTS:

•         All visitors must be at least 13 years old

•         Maximum of two people per company allowed to attend

•         Tobacco products are strictly prohibited at Kia Georgia

•         Firearms are prohibited on-site at Kia Georgia

•         Photography is prohibited inside Kia Georgia's plant

•         All tours are subject to cancellation with little or no notice depending on Kia Georgia's production schedule

•         All visitors must have on long pants and enclosed toe shoes. Anyone who does not comply will likely not be able to participate in the tour.

Please take note of weather conditions on the day of the tour. While we do anticipate this tour being conducted on a tram and most of it will be inside, there will be a portion that is outside and you may want to dress with that thought in mind (raincoat, etc.).

• At the first traffic light, turn left onto Kia Parkway
• At the first traffic light, turn right into our driveway at the Main Entry Gate

If you're arriving from the south :

• Take Exit 2 on I-85 North and turn left (From Columbus, GA area, follow GPS to SR 18, then you will turn right onto Kia Parkway just past the I-85 interchange)
• At the first traffic light, turn right onto Kia Parkway
• At the fourth traffic light, turn left into our driveway at the Main Entry Gate

If arriving by personal vehicles , bear to either the left or right - visitor parking is located on the front rows and is numbered. Please enter through the Visitor's Center, Building 7797, where security will confirm that you have arrived and direct you to the Main Lobby entrance.

Without expectations, Shinoda , Delson , Farrell , and Hahn quietly began meeting up again in recent years. Rather than “trying to restart the band,” their instinct was to simply spend more time together, and reconnect with the creativity and camaraderie that has been at the core of their friendship since college. During this time, they invited various friends and cohorts to join them in the studio; among the guests, they found a special kinship with Armstong and Brittain. Kia Center is conveniently located in downtown Orlando. If you're visiting us by car, there's easy access to our GEICO Garage from SR408 and I-4.

Guests are also able to purchase parking inside the 520 W Pine St. Garage (Formerly HD Supply), a short, five minute walk from the arena. The garage is located on W. Pine Street near Division Ave.

You can also utilize public transportation options, including SunRail and LYMMO, or rideshare options like Uber and Lyft.

Kia Center offers guests reserved/pre-paid parking in the GEICO Garage located at 400 West South Street and the 520 W Pine St. Garage (Formerly HD Supply). Reserved/pre-paid parking purchases are available through Ticketmaster.com or the Kia Center Box Office during regular  box office hours . Purchases must be made by 5 p.m. on the day before the event.

Linkin Park announces surprise concert at Kia Forum with new lead singer

Linkin Park has announced a surprise performance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood next week. The announcement comes on the heels of the beloved California-born rock band making the much-anticipated reveal of its new lead singer.

On Thursday afternoon, a countdown timer posted by the band on social media came to an end, and with it, a surprise live-stream concert event with the group’s new co-lead: Emily Armstrong.

Armstrong will assume the role left vacant by founding member Chester Bennington, who tragically took his own life in 2017 at the age of 41. The band went on an indefinite hiatus shortly after.

Armstrong, previously of the band Dead Sara, joins Linkin Park and its legion of loyal fans who have clamored for new music and a return to the stadiums and venues that made the “In The End” musicians a household name.

She’ll join longtime members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn, alongside fellow newcomer, drummer Colin Brittain.

Shinoda described Armstrong and Brittain as “world-class talents,” adding that the band found a natural chemistry with them and a joy over what they’ve created together.

“We feel really empowered with this new lineup and the vibrant and energized new music we’ve made together. We’re weaving together the sonic touchpoints we’ve been known for and still exploring new ones,” Shinoda said.

In addition to Thursday’s live-streamed concert, the band released a new single and accompanying music video , and announced its plans for six arena shows as part of an abbreviated world tour.

Linkin Park will kick off its six-show tour in Inglewood, performing at the Kia Forum on Sept. 11.

After that, the band will travel to New York City, Hamburg, Germany, London, Seoul, South Korea and Bogota, Colombia as part of the “From Zero World Tour.”

“From Zero” is also the name of the band’s first album since 2017, which will be released Nov. 15 and is available for pre-order now.

“Before LINKIN PARK, our first band name was Xero,” said Shinoda. “This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future—embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life.”

Shinoda added that the album was made with a “deep appreciation” for its new and longtime bandmates, as well as friends, family and fans who have supported them throughout the years.

“We are proud of what LINKIN PARK has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead,” Shinoda said.

Linkin Park performed together for the first time in Los Angeles on Thursday for ticketed fans who were transported by buses to a studio lot. The event was livestreamed and will be available to view on Linkin Park’s official online channels for the next 24 hours.

According to a press release, Shinoda, Delson, Farrell and Hahn “quietly began meeting up again in recent years” and “rather than ‘trying to restart the band,'” they worked with numerous musicians and “found a special kinship with Armstong and Brittain.”

About the new era, Shinoda said in a statement, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future — embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”

Pre-sale tickets for the “From Zero” tour will be available for the LP Underground fan club starting Sept. 6. The general sale will start the following day on Sept. 7.

This announcement follows Linkin Park’s release of its “Papercuts (Singles Collection 2000-2023)” from earlier this spring. The 20-song LP collected the bestselling band’s greatest hits across a two-decade-plus run. It was released via Warner Records, and featured songs including “In the End,” “Burn It Down” and a Jay-Z mash-up, “Numb/Encore,” as well as “Lost,” which helped propel its parent LP, “Meteora,” to return to the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.

Limited tours of this vehicle assembly plant near Nashville are offered–only Tuesdays and Thursdays–but a motorized, narrated ride through the assembly of these renowned Nissan vehicles is worth the waiting list. You’ll get to see everything from the Pathfinder to the Altima and the Leaf rolling off the production line. More information.

11. BMW U.S. Factory – Spartanburg, South Carolina

Those interested in getting an inside perspective on the “Ultimate Driving Machine” will love touring the only American BMW factory, which is near Charlotte, NC. For a $10 fee, visitors will get to see the modern engineering marvels of the German brand at work within the production plant. 10. Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama – Montgomery, Alabama

If you want to watch the construction of a car you probably own, check out this factory within the historic Montgomery city limits. After watching a prep video and donning your headsets, you’ll be taken on a guided tram tour of the assembly of the Hyundai Sonata and Elantra . 9. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky – Georgetown, Kentucky

Welcome to Toyota’s assembly plant in Georgetown, Kentucky!

In the heart of the bluegrass region, not far from Lexington, is a massive Toyota manufacturing plant that has given tours to hundreds of thousands of people since 1990. Visitors can take a free guided tram tour through the inside of the facility while listening to friendly guides over headphones explain the work being done. An 11,500-square-foot Visitor Center includes displays and a Toyota gift shop. More information .

8. Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) – Lafayette, Indiana

If you’re headed to Chicago sometime, swing by the home of North American Subaru production that’s southeast of the Windy City. A free, mile-long walk on an elevated catwalk through the facility offers a unique perspective on production operations, but skirts are highly discouraged for that reason! You’ll be accompanied by a knowledgeable Subaru tour director on your walk. More information .

7. Ford Rouge Factory – Dearborn, Michigan

The assembly area is only one portion of this thorough five-part, self-guided tour. Apart from seeing the new aluminum F-150 produced in the assembly floor, learn more about the plant’s innovations at the Legacy Theater, Manufacturing Innovation Theater, and Legacy Gallery. Tickets are a bit pricey but it’s one of the few facilities open for weekend tours. More information .

6. Mercedes-Benz US International – Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Get a close-up look at the most luxurious auto brand around by seeing the Visitor Center Museum and taking a guided tour along the assembly floor, which produces such greats as the M-Class . Despite the tour costing a small fee, the experience is highly memorable–and the two mile walk will give you a workout too! More information .

5. Bowling Green Corvette Plant – Bowling Green, Kentucky

Welcome to the home of the Chevy Corvette!

This place halfway between Louisville and Nashville received a lot of attention after a sinkhole appeared in its adjacent National Corvette Museum. Now that it’s being repaired, visitors are flocking to see the Chevy building and tour the assembly plant. For a small fee, you can take an hour-long guided walking tour of the Corvette sports car’s actual construction, from the initial steel structure to the final drive off the line. More information .

4. Honda Heritage – Marysville, Ohio

The Honda Heritage Center in Marysville, Ohio

Although you can’t actually tour the factory here near Columbus which has been producing vehicles for over 50 years, the facility recently opened up a stellar museum on its grounds . You’ll learn about the role the factory has played in the history of the Honda, as well as see fascinating models on display. 3. General Motors Fairfax Assembly Plant – Kansas City, Kansas

This GM assembly and stamping facility in the heart of barbecue city offers free walking tours on certain days. If you follow the strict set of safety guidelines, you’ll get to see the process of metal being molded into body panels and attached to vehicles like the Buick LaCrosse and the Chevrolet Malibu . 2. Shelby American Inc – Las Vegas, Nevada

The legacy of Carroll Shelby lives on! This facility has been modifying and selling Ford vehicles for 50 years. If you still have time after seeing the numerous cars on display on the showroom floor, you can get a free tour of the garage (donations accepted). More information .

Multiple Harley Davidson plants offer tours in the US. A free, hour-long walking tour of the manufacturing plant in York, PA is offered, but most visitors prefer the Steel Toe Tour which–for a decent price–gets you entrance to special areas, a commemorative pin, a group photo, a safety vest, and $5 toward the gift shop. A Kids Corner makes this facility suitable for your whole family.

In the heart of Harley history, Menomonee Falls, WI has the northwest plant. You’ll love the interactive museum in downtown Milwaukee and the grand tour of the production facility. Staying overnight? Consider the unique Iron Horse Hotel.

Linkin Park Unveil Emily Armstrong as New Co-Vocalist, Announce 2024 World Tour and Album

A new chapter in the story of Linkin Park is among us. On Thursday, the band announced plans to embark on a headlining tour beginning kicking off Sept. 11 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, marking their first run of live performances since the death of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017. Moving forward on the road without him also brings in the addition of a new co-vocalist, for which Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Dave Farrell have selected Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara. Colin Brittain, songwriter and producer for G Flip, was also announced as the band’s new drummer.

Linkin Park also shared their first new music in seven years, “The Emptiness Machine,” which premiered alongside a livestream performance to announce their new album, From Zero , slated for release on Nov. 15.

Linkin Park first began teasing the announcement last week. On Instagram, the official band account shared a video of a countdown that starts at 100 hours and begins ticking away. They followed it up with another countdown, this one starting at zero seconds, increasing to 9, and immediately jumping back down to 5 before the video completely distorts. “It’s only a matter of time…” the caption read, along with a link to their website.

The site’s landing page hosted a message of its own: “Be part of something. Tune in.” The next teaser used the same statement in its caption, this time with an accompanying image that seemed to feature the logo Linkin Park began using in 2007.

UTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE Roadside (Garages) Limited from JOHN LAW .. CANT RECOMMEND THIS GUY HIGHLY ENOUGH A* CUSTOMER SERVICE. So I picked up my new Kia Sportage last week . I ordered it back in July with John. He spent a long time with me answering all my questions and showing me all the options to ensure I knew all that was available to me . Showing all the different specs and colours once I had finally made my choice on the model. John gave me a realistic time frame on how long the car would take to come in but ensured me he would stay in contact and keep me updated. I got the wonderful phone call one Saturday to say he had gotten word that my car was on its way, that it should be with him within the next two weeks but that once it was with him he'd be in contact again. John then called when it arrived and we arranged a collection day that suited us both. On collection it was so easy, John was prepared with all my paperwork ready to sign and keys to hand over. He made sure there was petrol in the car and talked me through all the buttons and gadgets of my new wheels. Again nothing was a bother and I felt like I was getting 100% of his attention . My husband and I love the KIA motors, they are all very well finished off and eye catching on the road. An amazing choice of vibrant colours to choose from. So....here I am again 😆 back to my favourite one...The Stonic, after having had the Carens, the Stonic, the XCeed S/Ed and now the Stonic Quantum. Great mileage to the gallon, style, comfort, cruise control, sat nav, you even get your bum heated in winter with the heated seats and the hands with the heated steering, great deals, need I go on... the car just says it all really! This was my first time dealing with Roadside garages I was interested in going electric for my next car Roadside was the only garage who offered me a full electric vehicle for the weekend to try out A year later I called in to Roadside and spoke to Mark and said I might be interested in a used ev6 but I wanted a specific model and it had to be red Mark said that was a good choice of colour as the Kia red was the Man United shade of red but I had to put him straight and inform him there is only one great team in red Liverpool I think Ian agreed with me on that one as well Mark rang me 2 weeks later to tell me that he had sourced one and I called in and done the deal without even seeing the car I was probably poked Mark 😁😁😁 but seriously I can highly recommend Roadside for their help and if your back up is as good as your sales set up it should be a trouble free journey with my first Kia Thanks Mark for your help maybe some day you will see sense and realise that the Liverpool red is the way to go 😂😂 Many thanks Charlie Charlie Mckeeman

I've now been a customer since December 2020. These guys know how to look after you. There's always a smile and a joke from all of the sales team. The service team can't do enough for you. I'm not in that much other than to take my car for service or if I have a mechanical issue, and yet they still know me by name and what car I drive. A courtesy car is always available too when I leave mine in. Really can't fault this team at Roadside 😁 Liz
