Fans want an NSYNC reunion tour — but they'll have to settle for the band's first live performance since 2013 for now

NSYNC performed live for the first time in over a decade, raising questions about whether the band will return for a reunion tour.

  • In 2023, the group reunited at the MTV Video Music Awards before releasing their first single in 21 years.
  • On Wednesday, the band joined Justin Timberlake onstage during his free Los Angeles concert.

On Wednesday, JC Chasez, Lance Bass , Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick made a surprise appearance during Justin Timberlake's free "One Night Only" concert in Los Angeles. The fivesome then performed together for the first time since 2013, running through their popular tracks "Gone," "Girlfriend, "Bye Bye Bye," and "It's Gonna Be Me."

While many NSYNC fans might see this as a sign of the band's intention to reunite, it may not be that simple.

In September 2023, when the five band members appeared onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards to present the award for best pop video to Taylor Swift , fans also took this as a sign that the band might be planning a reunion tour.

Even Swift had questions when she collected her award, asking the group: "Like, are you doing something? What's going to happen now? They're going to do something and I need to know what it is."

Two days later, NSYNC announced via a video post on their Instagram account that they would release their first single in 21 years. But the song, "Better Place," was just part of the soundtrack to a new animated movie, "Trolls Band Together," in which Timberlake stars.

"Better Place" started at No.25 on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of its release in September 2023 before sinking down and disappearing after six weeks.

NSYNC also appeared on the YouTube interview series "Hot Ones" to promote the new track, but no reunion announcement arrived after the movie.

Plus, Timberlake's concert was organized to promote his upcoming album, which will be released on Friday, so the reunion could have been a tactic to promote it.

The last time the complete NSYNC band performed together was during Timberlake's 12-song medley at the 2013 VMAs after he received the Video Vanguard Award.

But the group performed without Timberlake in 2019 when they joined Ariana Grande for a surprise appearance during her Coachella set.

As of yet, there has been no announcement about a reunion tour, but at least NSYNC fans will now have two new songs.

NSYNC's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.

Is NSYNC Going on Tour? Justin Timberlake Reunites the Band for First Performance in 10 Years

J.T. gave Los Angeles fans the surprise of their lives when he brought out the members of NSYNC during his latest concert. Find out if they're going on tour together.

NSYNC fans rejoice! The beloved boy band reunited for their first performance since 2013 during his latest Los Angeles concert on March 13, 2024. Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass , Joey Fatone,   and  Chris Kirkpatrick brought the crowd to tears as they sang some of their biggest hits, like “Bye Bye Bye,” “It’s Gonna Be Me,” “Girlfriend” and their latest single “Paradise.” Last year, the group dropped “Better Place” as part of the Trolls Band Together  soundtrack on September 29, 2023. While it’s not certain what other projects will come of the reunion, it’s certainly exciting to seesinging together again. Not only that, but the band collaborated on the song titled “Paradise” on Justin’s 2024 album, Everything I Thought I Was .

Along with the new music, fans are clamoring to see the boy band take the stage again! It’s been over a decade since the group’s last musical reunion, and it’s been even longer since their last full-blown tour. Lance did hint that there was some hope for an NSYNC reunion in an appearance in the online game show Rent Free .  Hollywood Life has all the details for you, below.

NSYNC Reunite for New Music

Reports that NSYNC had gotten back in the studio for the new song had surfaced back in August. Before announcing the track, the boy band took the stage at the 2023 MTV VMAs to present   Taylor Swift   with the Best Pop award. “Over 20 years ago, we were just kids when we won Best Pop Video for ‘Bye Bye Bye.’ It was our first VMA, and it meant the world to us. It validated our hard work,” Justin said at the start of the presentation.

Ahead of the official track announcement, the band had lip-synced along to the audio from a Friends  scene asking “Do you know something?” It was later revealed that “Better Place” would be a part of the  Trolls Band Together  soundtrack. Snippets of the band singing the new track can be heard in the trailer . Justin voices the Branch character in the movie.

Justin also dropped the track list for his 2024 album, which includes one collab with NSYNC titled “Paradise.”

Is NSYNC Going on Tour?

While nothing official has been announced, Lance did hint that he hoped to have more to tell fans in the near future during the  Rent Free  appearance, per  Page Six .  “Look, we are talking about it — and I hope to have some good news, at some point,” he said when talking about the reunion.

Joey Fatone had spoken to Hollywood Life about the possibility of a reunion in an exclusive interview in November. He said that he hoped to have a definite answer for fans in the near future. “I don’t mind answering, because of the fact that hopefully soon, I will get an answer,” he said. “Whether it be yes, whether it be no, I hate saying, ‘I don’t know yet,’ but it is true.”

Joey also expressed some hope for a reunion so that his daughters could get to experience what the band was like. “My kids have never really seen me perform with NSYNC. So for people that are fans that grew up listening to us, I feel almost the same way. It sounds weird, but it is true because I want my kids to see what I did,” he said.

Earlier, Lance said that the quintet isn’t planning on a reunion tour, in an Entertainment Tonight   interview. As the interviewer mentioned that fans have been clamoring for a tour, he said that there’s nothing on the horizon. “Hopefully in a perfect world, that might happen one day, but again, no plans right now,” he said.

While there’s nothing set in stone, Lance did seem open to the idea. He admitted that the group were listening to the fans. “I’ve been telling the fans: we don’t have solid plans right now, because we’re waiting for the strike to end. We’ve got things to do, but they’re definitely shaping our future,” he told  ET. Ahead of Lance’s interview, a report from TMZ   said that they didn’t plan on touring, releasing an album, or doing a residency.

Most recently, Justin appeared on  The Kelly Clarkson Show   on January 30, 2024, and confirmed that he and his pals have been working on new music together. “And also as it pertains to harmonies… I’ve spent some time with four other guys doing a lot of harmonies,” he said during the talk show appearance.

J.T. also touched on their 2023 reunion. “That was fun,” he said to Kelly Clarkson . “It’s kind of crazy, like, there’s so much that just picks up right where it left off as far as the chemistry.” Additionally, Justin reassured NSYNC fans that something is coming soon. “We’ve been in the studio, so there may be a little something in the future, too,” he added. Despite the exciting tease, Justin did not reveal if he and his bandmates will release a new album or if they will head on tour this year.

Less than two months later, Justin invited his bandmates to perform with him during a concert in L.A., fueling rumors that there could possibly be a tour in the near future. Nevertheless, they haven’t confirmed the rumors.

Earlier NSYNC Reunions

While NSYNC split up in 2005, the boy band has gotten together on a handful of occasions over the years for both musical and non-musical reunions. When Justin earned the Video Vanguard award at the 2013 MTV VMAs, the group was part of his medley performance, singing “Girlfriend” and “Bye Bye Bye.”  When the group was given a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 2018, they all got together for the ceremony and appeared on Ellen  together.

The group has also had a few occasions that they’ve had partial reunions. All of the members except Justin joined  Ariana Grande   on stage for her 2019 headline set at Coachella, where they sang her song “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” and their own “Tearin’ Up My Heart.” In April 2022, Joey, Lance, and Chris gave an impromptu performance at Ryan Cabrera   and  Alexa Bliss’  wedding.

When Was the Last Time NSYNC Toured?

While there have been a handful of performances since the group split up, the boy band’s final tour was in 2002 to promote their album Celebrity. The tour ended in April 2002, and the band began a hiatus, which they never returned from. The members’ final appearance as NSYNC was in 2005 at the “Challenge for the Children,” but they didn’t perform. They released a greatest hits album that same year.

While the band has not toured together in over 20 years, Justin has set out on numerous tours as a solo artist. His most recent time on the road was in 2019 for his  The Man of the Woods  tour.

*NSYNC ‘planning to tour after reuniting on Justin Timberlake’s new album’

Connor Gotto

*NSYNC are reportedly planning to hit the road for their first tour in over 20 years.

The group has reunited on several occasions over the past few months, recording the track Better Place for the ‘Trolls Band Together’ soundtrack and featuring on Justin Timberlake’s album cut Paradise .

Now, insiders say the group is planning to return to the road once Timberlake’s ‘Forget Tomorrow’ tour is done.

Don't Miss...

Lauryn hill announces co-headline tour with the fugees, betty boo’s london headline show is a celebration of the reemergence of one of british pop’s enduring greats.

“The lads are raring to go and have unfinished business as far as touring is concerned,” they tell The Sun’s Bizarre column .

“They’ve seen the huge success their contemporaries Backstreet Boys have had travelling the world in recent years, and they are currently carving out time in their diary to do the same.

“It’s been a long time coming and the fans will snap up tickets.”

Last year, Lance Bass opened up about *NSYNC’s latest projects and admitted the group – also starring JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone – had no idea fans would “go this nuts” for their comeback.

“It is beautiful, you know?” he said. “To be this age and the fans are still this excited, it is a dream come true. I had no idea the fandom would go this nuts.

“It was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together. Back in March, we decided to, you know, get back together and have some fun and it was like no [time] had passed.

“But there was a lot of tears. It was just tears of joy. And it was just a beautiful moment. Like, time does so much and for us to finally be together, it just feels right.”

On the possibility of a tour, at the time he insisted the group “don’t have solid plans”, but maintained that future live shows aren’t off the cards.

“I’ve been telling the fans, like, we don’t have solid plans right now. Because, you know, we’re waiting for the [SAG-AFTRA] strike to end [and] we’ve got things to do,” he added. “But [the fans are] definitely shaping our future.”

Is *NSYNC Going On Tour? Here's Everything We Know.

Is *nsync going on tour here’s everything we know..

In the realm of pop music nostalgia, one question has been reverberating through the hearts of fans worldwide: Is *NSYNC Going On Tour?

As the iconic boy band that captured the hearts of a generation with their harmonious melodies and synchronized dance moves, *NSYNC remains a timeless symbol of 90s and early 2000s pop culture.

The mere mention of a potential reunion tour sends waves of excitement and anticipation rippling through their dedicated fanbase.

And with the band’s recent public outing at the VMA’s after nearly a decade, fans everywhere cannot help but wonder what is next from the band?

Is *NSYNC Going On Tour? Here’s Everything We Know

If you grew up in the 90s, early 2000s it’s likely that you know and love every single song from *NSYNC. They were one of the top boy bands of the century.

And if that is true, then it is also true that you would probably cash out your 401K or even sell your home to afford concert tickets should they go on a reunion tour.

So, is that actually happening? Is *NSYNC actually going on tour and more importantly, is *NSYNC making more music?

The short answer is, no – there is not OFFICIAL confirmation from the band or the band’s manager that a reunion or a tour is happening.

In fact, earlier today, TMZ said that sources told them that the band has “no plans to tour, do a residency, album, or any other pop-up reunions.”

However, there are tons of signs and clues that there may be something coming from *NSYNC and soon.

Let’s take a look at what we know…

Is *NSYNC releasing a new song?

Rumors have been circulating that *NSYNC has new music. The first clue was a video that began circulating of Justin Timberlake and JC Chavez in a recording studio.

Turns out, fans were right – *NSYNC will have a new song. According to TMZ, sources confirmed that the band is recording a new song for the new Trolls movie. They said:

we’ve confirmed the rumors the group is featured on a song for the upcoming movie, “Trolls Band Together” … which focuses on Justin Timberlake’s character reuniting with his 4 brothers who were all part of a boy band in the past — pretty meta. TMZ

Therefore, we will see new music for the movie.

But aside from that? Is anything else to come?

Well, only time will tell. While diehard *NSYNC fans like myself are trying to “read between the lines” there is just rumor and speculation out there at this point for an *NSYNC reunion tour.

Although, I can speak for all the *NSYNC fans when I say, we want this more than anything. Now that we are 30+ year olds with adult money, no amount is too much for concert tickets.

I mean, I’d even take a *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and 98 Degrees Millennial Reunion Tour and it needs to happen STAT. None of us are getting any younger!

Seriously. Read it: Is *NSYNC Going On Tour? Here’s Everything We Know.

In the realm of pop music nostalgia, one question has been reverberating through the hearts of fans worldwide: Is *NSYNC Going On Tour? About the Artists:

Chris Kirkpatrick is an American singer, dancer, actor, and voice actor best known for his work as a founding member of the pop group *NSYNC. As a voice actor, he has worked on numerous kids’ shows, including voicing Chip Skylark’s character on “The Fairly Oddparents.” In 2022, he competed in Season 3 of “Celebrity Big Brother” and “The Masked Singer.”

O-Town ’s story began in 1999, when “Making the Band” chronicled the rise to success of O-Town throughout three seasons of the series on both ABC and MTV. The group’s first two full-length albums included #1 singles, “Liquid Dreams” and “All or Nothing” and the Top 40 hit “We Fit Together.” “All or Nothing” was nominated for Song of the Year at the Radio Music Awards in 2001.

BBMAK was originally formed in 1997, and BBMAK (Mark Barry, Christian Burns, and Stephen McNally) is officially “Back Here” after a 15-year hiatus. The multi-platinum-selling English pop group has sold more than three million albums and had hit singles worldwide before disbanding in 2003. Best known for their self-penned infectious guitar-driven hits “Back Here,” “Out of My Heart,” and “The Ghost of You and Me,” BBMAK was one of the few bands during the pop explosion of the early 2000s to play their own instruments and write their own songs. Billboard recently named “Back Here” the 9th greatest boy band song of all time.

LFO burst onto the scene in 1999 with the #1 smash hit “Summer Girls,” followed by another top-five hit in “Girl on TV” and the top-ten hit “Every Other Time.” Today, lone surviving member Brad Fischetti keeps the name of LFO alive, performing the songs to fans, new and old.

Justin Timberlake and NSYNC reunited for the first time in more than a decade for a live show promoting Timberlake’s new album Everything I Thought I Was , out today. Wednesday night’s free, One Night Only show at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theater was billed as a solo Timberlake show, Variety reported, but the “Sexy Back” singer surprised the audience by introducing his former bandmates.

Rumors of an NSYNC reunion have persisted for months, ever since the group came together in September to record a track for the Trolls Band Together soundtrack; and audience members at the Wiltern were reportedly primed for a big surprise on Wednesday, with rumors swirling that an NSYNC reunion could be in store.

Timberlake made his fans wait almost until the end of the night, though. As he began the crowd-work section of his performance, the DJ began playing NSYNC’s “Gone.” At this point, the curtain rose to reveal the remaining NSYNC members: Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and JC Chasez. The five performed “a brief, but powerful, mini-set,” according to Variety , that included a number of their most famous tracks.

“They wandered into the audience as the DJ cut up ‘Girlfriend,’ and came back to the stage to sing glimpses of ‘Bye Bye Bye’ and ‘It’s Gonna Be Me,” the outlet reported.

At the end of their appearance, the quintet debuted “Paradise,” their collaboration for Timberlake’s new album.

“Each of them took a seat for ‘Paradise,’ their concluding number, which Timberlake explained that they had just practiced,” Variety revealed. “Harmonies flew, eyes were wet, and they stood at the front of the stage at the end, soaking up the rapturous applause.”

Audience members were visibly emotional during the reunion. The prospect of an NSYNC tour has tantalized fans for decades now, ever since the group officially split in 2001. Since then, Timberlake has focused on his own musical and acting careers, while the other members of NSYNC have dabbled less successfully in solo work.

NSYNC’s last joint performance was at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, where Timberlake received the Video Vanguard Award. The last time they performed together before that was before their split at the beginning of the millennium. Bass, Fatone, Chasez, and Kirkpatrick reunited for a guest spot during Ariana Grande’s 2019 Coachella set, but Timberlake was conspicuously absent.

After his bandmates left the stage, Timberlake seemed unsure of how to proceed with the show. “I don’t know what to do after that but this,” he said before launching into his final song of the night, “Mirrors.”

Timberlake’s new album, Everything I Thought I Was , drops today.

Ariana Grande's Family: All About the Singer's Parents and Brother Frankie Grande

Ariana Grande's mom Joan Grande, dad Ed Butera and brother Frankie Grande are her biggest fans

Ilana Frost is a contributing writer at PEOPLE. She has been working at PEOPLE since 2023. Her work has previously appeared in Elite Daily, Bustle and The List.

Throughout her journey from Broadway and Nickelodeon star to Grammy Award winner, Ariana Grande has had the unwavering support of her mother, Joan Grande, and her half-brother, Frankie Grande .

Ariana was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, where her father's graphic design practice and Joan's communications equipment company are based. The singer's parents split when she was young, and her relationship with her father , Ed Butera , has had its ups and downs. In July 2014, Ariana told Seventeen that she'd fallen out of touch with him the year prior. The two have since reconciled, and Ed joined Ariana and Joan on the red carpet at the 2020 Grammy Awards .

The "Thank U, Next" singer is particularly close with her brother Frankie, whom Joan welcomed with her first husband Victor Marchione. In addition to sharing a parent, Ariana and Frankie also share a passion for singing and acting. He's performed in Broadway and off-Broadway productions, competed on the reality show Big Brother and released music of his own.

When Ariana celebrated her 31st birthday in June 2024, her mom commented on her Instagram post that marked the occasion, writing, " I love you my sweet sweet angel ."

From her early days with her parents to her sweet relationship with her brother, here's everything to know about Ariana Grande's family: Joan Grande, Ed Butera and Frankie Grande.

Joan realized Ariana could sing when she was 3 years old

Joan realized her daughter had quite the musical gift when Ariana was just a toddler.

"She was probably 3, 3½," the pop star's mom once recalled to PEOPLE. "And she was in her car seat and I was driving and listening to NSYNC as every mother should be. She hit one of JC [Chasez] 's power high notes and I kind of pulled the car over and I said, 'Ariana, was that you?' "

Joan laughed and added, "She didn't know. She thought everybody sounds like that."

Joan and Ed split when Ariana was young

Ariana's parents split when she was 8, according to Entertainment Tonight . The pop star references their marriage in the lyrics of her 2018 hit "Thank U, Next," when she sings, "One day I'll walk down the aisle / Holding hands with my mama / I'll be thanking my dad / 'Cause she grew from the drama."

Despite their past conflict, Joan and Ed have since spent time together at family gatherings. In November 2021, they both celebrated Thanksgiving with Ariana, her husband Dalton Gomez and some friends. Ariana shared an Instagram post featuring snapshots of the evening, including one where Joan and Ed are playing a card game together.

"Nothing was ever as loud," Ariana captioned the post. "Sending you all so much love i hope you feel it from here."

Ariana fell out of touch with Ed, but they later reconciled

During her 2014 Seventeen interview, Ariana shared that she was estranged from her father at the time. "It's private, but it happened last year," she said. "It took me so long to be okay with it. The thing that got me there was embracing the fact that I am made up of half my dad, and a lot of my traits come from him."

The singer continued: "So much of me comes from my father, and for so long, I didn't like that about myself. I had to accept that it's okay not to get along with somebody and still love them."

There appeared to be a turning point in their relationship before her 2020 Grammys performance, where Ariana changed the "Thank U, Next" lyrics to: " I'll be thanking my dad / 'Cause he's really awesome." Since she sang the revised version, the two have celebrated holidays together and expressed their love on social media.

"I love you endlessly @edbutera," Ariana captioned a baby photo with her father in June 2021. "I cherish every moment of our time together, i cherish our facetimes, your laugh ! making you laugh ! i cherish the parts of me that remind me of you (there are very many)."

She added: "I am deeply grateful for your being in my life and proud to be your daughter everyday ~ happy father's day."

Joan is a multifaceted businesswoman

When she's not cheering on her kids, Joan is working as president and CEO of Hose-McCann Communications . On its website, HMC describes its team as "leaders in the marine industry" and notes that its customers include the U.S. and Canadian coast guards, the U.S. Navy and other "leading maritime nations."

Joan also collaborates with her son Frankie on their production company, Diamond Dog Entertainment. Per DDE's website , the company nurtures talent and invests in "diverse projects that seek to change the landscape of the entertainment world." Some of its projects include the witty horror film Summoning Sylvia (also starring Frankie) and Titanique The Musical , a comedic retelling of Titanic through the lens and music of Céline Dion .

Joan was with Ariana at the 2017 Manchester bombing

Joan was present at her daughter's May 2017 concert in Manchester, where a bomber killed 22 people and injured more than 500 at Ariana's Dangerous Woman Tour stop in the U.K. city.

While speaking with Elle in 2018, Joan opened up about the terrifying moments following the terror attack. “I was like a fish swimming in the wrong direction. Everyone was leaving, and I was going toward the stage," she said. “I didn’t know where I was going. I just knew I was going to my daughter. Not to be overly dramatic — I struggle with this every day — but I didn’t know what I would find when I got to her. I sympathize with every parent who was waiting for a child. Those minutes when you don’t know what’s happening…there are no words.”

After the bombing, Joan and Ariana returned to their hometown in Florida, where Ariana immediately started planning the One Love Manchester benefit concert .

“It was two or three in the morning; she crawled into bed and said, ‘Mom, let’s be honest, I’m never not going to sing again. But I’m not going to sing again until I sing in Manchester first,' ” Joan recalled to the outlet. The concert was held in Manchester less than two weeks later, and raised $23 million for charity.

Ed is a graphic designer and photographer

Ed is a graphic designer, photographer and owner of Ibi Designs, a South Florida-based creative studio. Per the company's website , he founded the agency in 1992 and has since produced a variety of award-winning websites, graphics and photography.

Ariana's father occasionally shares his work on Instagram , where he has nearly 180,000 followers. Ed's bio on the app reads: "Father, Artist, Graphic Designer, Photographer and Avid Angler."

Ariana took her parents to the 2020 Grammys

Ariana performed and was nominated for five awards at the 2020 Grammys, and she brought her parents along for the special evening. On the red carpet, the singer posed in her gray Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown with one arm around each parent while Joan grinned and Ed gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Frankie is an actor, singer, social media personality and producer

Ariana's brother has an impressive résumé of his own. He took the Broadway stage in Mamma Mia! from 2007 to 2010 and in Rock of Ages from 2014 to 2015. He's also graced the off-Broadway stage in Cruel Intentions: The '90s Musical and Titanique . In 2014, Frankie ventured into reality TV and competed on Big Brother 16 .

Ahead of the show, he spoke to PEOPLE about his strategy: "I don't want people knowing that I have a social media following and that Ariana Grande is my sister because I feel like both of those things will put an unnecessary target on my back." When the right time came along, Frankie revealed his identity to his fellow contestants. He also later competed on the U.K.'s Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.

The actor works with Joan at Diamond Dog Entertainment, and he has starred in several of its projects including Summoning Sylvia and Horror Camp: A Musical Massacre . When he's not working in entertainment, Frankie serves as a board member of the LGBTQ+ advocacy group GLAAD and does philanthropy work with organizations like buildOn, the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the performing arts education charity Broadway in South Africa, of which he is also a co-founder.

Frankie is also a popular YouTuber with nearly 450,000 subscribers, and he posts personal vlog content, music and more. The performer also shares personal and promotional content on Instagram with his more than two million followers.

As for his personal life, Frankie married fellow performer Hale Leon in May 2022. Their small,  Star Wars -themed ceremony was held at the Grande family home in Boca Raton, Florida, and officiated by Joan.

Ariana and Frankie have collaborated on his YouTube channel

Ariana and Frankie have collaborated on several occasions, mostly in joint appearances on Frankie's YouTube channel. The two have made a variety of videos, including comedic sketches, vlog-style content, Q&A videos and song covers. In December 2018, they covered "Seasons of Love" from the musical Rent ; Frankie took the lead vocals while Ariana harmonized and produced the vocal tracks.

"I am beyond honored to have worked on this incredible project with my best friends in the world including my wonderful sister," Frankie wrote in the video description. "Thank you Ariana for vocal producing as well as adding your magical voice to this beautiful song."

In a December 2019 interview with Entertainment Tonight , Frankie noted that he and Ariana were still "very much in [their] own lanes" but really enjoy working together. He called their "Seasons of Love" collaboration "beautiful." "Whether or not something like [another collaboration] happens in the future, I'm sure it will," he said.

Joan, Ed and Frankie are Ariana's biggest fans

Ariana's family couldn't be more proud of the talented singer. In November 2021, when she booked the role of Glinda in the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked , Frankie shed happy tears for his sister.

"I remember when she told me that she booked it, we just both burst into tears together," he recalled to E! News in March 2023. "Because it was something that she had been dreaming of her entire life."

Joan is often by her daughter's side at industry events, interviews and concerts, and she regularly supports Ariana online, too. "I am so mf proud of my daughter for a million reasons..but to name a few she stepped out & owned the red carpet TWICE," the producer tweeted after joining her daughter at the 2020 Grammys. "She gave a phenomenal performance, she owned sitting in her seat during the show showing true warmth, sincerity & respect ... & she had a great time! Ariana won!"

Ed has also expressed his pride for his daughter on social media. On Ariana's 29th birthday, he posted an Instagram photo of them together at her wedding and wrote, "Happy Birthday Ariana, So so proud of you for everything you do. Love Daddy."
