We offer Lunch/Sightseeing and Dinner Cruises 7 days a week on both the “Catawba Queen” our Mississippi Riverboat replica and “Lady of the Lake” our 90ft luxury yacht. This was a fun 2 hour cruise. It was a last minute decision to go and I was able to get 2 tickets. The weather was perfect and the captain was great at providing details and the stories behind some of the most beautiful homes along the lake. I wish the tour was longer. It was very relaxing and the staff was attentive and courteous. The captain even let me take a quick photo behind the wheel before we docked. I'll definitely go out again. The ship could use a little attention (TLC) but we made it out there and back.

This was my first time at Queen's Landing and it won't be my last. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. When my wife and I arrived, we were immediately shown our seats. I was very happy that it was a small table for two by the window. Our waitress Allison came and took our drink orders and explained their pricing protocol. After we received our drinks and set sail, Allison checked on us periodically prior to dinner being served. My wife had the Porterhouse steak, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables, while I had the chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. Although my meal wasn't as "robust" as my wife's, i enjoyed it especially the macaroni. Throughout the entire trip our waitress Allison as well as the other staff made sure that it needs were taken care of. This trip was money well spent and a night to remember. I definitely would like to do it again.

We did the dinner cruise on a Thursday evening and really enjoyed it. The flood was excellent and the staff very friendly.

I had an opportunity to cruise on Queens Landing with some friends who celebrated a 10 year wedding anniversary. Our party of 6 was escorted to the upper level to be seated for dinner. Onboard there was a musician who sang a number of classics during the journey, he happened to be setup near our table so we had an upfront view. The food was good overall. When we were seated, we found salads on the table for each seat. It was comprised of iceberg lettuce that was slightly brown and topped with dressing - Italian I think. The salad was unappealing but the rest of the meal was slightly better. I had chicken with mashed potatoes, broccoli and a roll as an entree. Some in our party ordered the salmon, which they raved about. We skipped dessert since our group brought a cake to celebrate the anniversary. The staff was nice enough to cut it for us and serve it also with a glass of champagne. Although a dinner cruise is a great experience, the boat itself is very old and in need of major updates. This was pretty disappointing as I expected a modern experience. I think it needs a major overhaul, which of course would likely result in a price increase. It would be worth it. C

Went on a wine tasting cruise. Taste of Spain. It was fabulous! The wine and food well exceeded my expectation. The staff was spot on and did a great job. We will definitely do another cruise at Queens Landing.

I have heard about the dinner cruise on lady of the lake but I didn't know they offered sightseeing cruises as well and we always look for these things when we go out of town but we have a gem right here at home. The boat was older you can tell but the staff was amazing Kassie our bartender was so wonderful and she made our son feel so special for his birthday. The Captain Lou Johnson let our son drive the boat. Our son said it was the most amazing trip he had. The views are out of this world looking at all the beautiful houses, the lake, everyone using jet skis and other water vehicles. I would definitely do this again. Thank you Queens landing crew for helping out son have the best birthday.

Let me start by saying, we enjoyed our ride on the Lady of Lake and Captain Ron Gority is just a pleasure to have as Captain and from true sailor to another, he was appreciated. Okay now with that being said the place is just so badly run down, It needs a make over, they have cut cost on furniture, it appears when you walk in, in my opinion like it is a fly by night organization that just moved in yesterday said lets get some cheap furniture from goodwill and get this business going. The same feel translates to the boat itself, box lunches, cheap tables and chairs, there is nothing premier about this place, but for a nice tour of the lake, it was perfect. So keep your expectations to a very low mark come out here with some kids or like we did a work group just to get a relaxing cruise and enjoy the view. One thing they do need to prioritize in my opinion is setting aside 1 day a week and pay the staff to come out and clean the boats from top to bottom, it will cut down on lengthy maintenance in the long run and make a party of it, buy pizza and let them take ownership in the main reason for this place even existing. I spent 8 years in the Navy and know how important on small boats PM (Preventive Maintenance). Strive to be a just a little better, I want to give you 5 stars but myself and anyone else that comes out , you need to help us.

Went for a tour around lake Norman. It was pretty relaxing. Great for a daytime date.

Great deal for the price! Seems like they may have overbooked since there were not many open seats and everyone is required to be seated when disembarking. The captain was very knowledgeable of the lake and very entertaining! The crew was very polite. We stopped by the grille on the inside and picked up ice cream to enjoy during our cruise which made nice for the kids! There is a bar onboard which I will be sure to try next go round!

Weather permitting there is an upper floor with an open balcony offering beautiful lake views. Dinner on the Queen’s Landing dinner cruise is a chef created 4-course meal. Meals include a cheese plate, 2nd-course salad, 3 rd main course and dessert for the 4 th course.

To upgrade your experience on the Lady of the Lake, there are ways to make you feel like a VIP. You can add a red or white bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries, or upgrade to the ultimate King or Queen VIP package. Why is a uscg licensed captain important.

In North Carolina, any charter or rental (for hire) boat must be piloted or driven by a United States Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain. (NC Vessel Operating Guide) . There are countless hours of training, testing, and vetting that are required to get a USCG Master Captain’s License. You wouldn’t get in a car with an unlicensed, uninsured driver, would you?

What does it cost to charter the Party Pontoon on Lake Norman?

We have two boats to choose from depending on your party size:

22′ Bentley Pontoon – 10 guests with a 2,000-pound maximum capacity.

• 2-hour Sunset cruise – $550.00
• 1/2 day boat rental (4 hours) – $750.00
• full-day boat rental – (8 hours) – $1,150.00

30′ JC Tri-Toon – 15 guests with a 3,000-pound maximum capacity.

• 2-hour Sunset cruise – $825.00
• 1/2 day boat rental (4 hours) – $1,125.00
• full-day boat rental – (8 hours) – $1,725.00

There is a $100 discount if you charter both boats on the same day and time.

A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking per boat rental, with the final payment due 14 days before your boat rental.

What is your cancelation policy?

Cancellations due to severe weather are determined by the captain on the day of your rental. *We do not cancel due to weather forecasts. *If there is inclement weather the day of your rental that prevents us from getting on the water we will issue a full refund. Our recommendation, come down to the dock and hope for the best…we’ve had some epic boat parties in the rain!

What should I bring with me?

You’ll want to bring: Sunscreen, Towels, a light jacket or sweatshirt for cooler morning and evening boat rides, camera, phone for music options, a change of clothes for children if wanted, beverages, cash or credits cards for lakeside dining / drinks, gratuities etc..

Should I tip my Captain?

Your Captain does a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure you enjoy your time on the lake, that being said gratuities or tips are always appreciated.

Can we bring food on the boat?

Yes, you can bring food on the boat. We provide a large cooler with bottled water and ice. Make sure you bring plates, napkins, and plasticware with you. Check out our Snacks page if you’d like us to take care of it for you.

Can we bring adult beverages on the boat?

You can bring beer, wine, malt beverages etc.. (basically anything you can buy in the grocery store in North Carolina) but hard liquor (Vodka, Rum, Tequila etc..) is NOT allowed on the boat.

Is there a bathroom on the boat?

There isn’t a bathroom on the boat.  But with enough notice, your Captain can take you to the closest marina, for your convenience.

Queens Landing Dinner Cruises, Lake Norman

Lake Norman is conveniently situated only 30 minutes north of Charlotte and is the largest man-made lake in the Carolinas. It is 34 miles long with more than 500 miles of shoreline. Queens Landing Sightseeing & Dinner Cruises is located in Mooresville and offers you two ships to choose from for your dinner cruise: one elegant and one a bit more casual.

The Lady of the Lake

The Lady of the Lake is a 95-foot luxury yacht that offers an elegant, romantic dinner cruise that lasts more than two hours.

Passengers will experience full-service bars, fine dining and enclosed salons on the upper and lower levels, along with exquisite views of the lake and outstanding service. Cruises are offered year-round and dinners have included salmon, surf and turf, salads, side dishes and outstanding desserts. Menus change regularly.

Cruise schedules vary by season, although dinner cruises are generally offered Fridays with a boarding time of 6:30 p.m., plus Saturdays and Sundays with boarding times of 5:00 p.m. It is strongly suggested that you call for reservations and times.

Prices for the dinner cruises range from $87 for adults and $81 for seniors, tax and gratuities included. For an additional $225, you get the VIP treatment, which includes separate, private seating, a bottle of Dom Pérignon, special service, and more. You can also order chocolate covered strawberries for dessert at an additional cost.

The Catawba Queen

The Catawba Queen offers the nostalgic treat of dinner on a Mississippi riverboat. Although popular with families, this cruise also provides a step back in time to a more romantic era.

Dinners are buffet style, from salads to desserts, and the cost is around $76 for adults and $69 for seniors, taxes and gratuities included. You share tables with other diners. Boarding times are 6 p.m. Fridays, and 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Like the Lady of the Lake, $225 VIP dinners are also available aboard the Catawba Queen. This includes private seating, a bottle of Dom Pérignon, and special service, as well as the option for chocolate covered strawberries for dessert (six for $22 or 12 for $40).

Lake Hickory, Central

Lake Hickory Adventures offered the first (and only) dinner, party and private charter boat cruises on Lake Hickory in Hickory, NC in the central state region. The yachts have restrooms, outdoor and indoor seating, and even fireside dining in cooler weather. Live entertainment is aboard, and menus include steak, seafood, Italian, and other specialties, varying by date.

Tickets are $59, not including tax and gratuities, with discounts for clergy, seniors, and other groups. Romantic evenings include Valentine's Day , with dinner for two for around $70 each, plus holiday caroling tours. Note that the ship does not sell or provide wine or liquor, but passengers 21+ may bring their own drinks.

Crystal Coast Lady Cruises, Northeast

North Carolina's Crystal Coast offers stunning seascapes, sunsets, and romance. Lookout Cruises cordially invites you for a splendid two-hour sunset cruise that provides a gourmet buffet along with breathtaking views of water and sky.

Cruises are offered nightly in season from 7 - 9 p.m. and Sundays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $38 plus tax and gratuities, and there are discounts for military and seniors. Diners share tables. This ship also offers specialty cruises to see the wild horses and dolphins.

Dinner Cruise Considerations

Nothing is more fun than a romantic cruise, and nothing is worse than unforeseen problems. Don't forget the following.

• Always check on cancellation policies before you book tickets. Can you get a refund? Or will you have to dine ashore or accept a later cruise in the event of a problem?
• Boarding times and sailing times are different, sometimes up to one hour earlier. Ask before you go.
• Three or more may not be all the company you want on a romantic cruise. Most dinner cruises require that you share tables, so ask about upgrades or private seating. That will cost more, but may be worth it.
• Not all facilities are created equal. If restrooms or stairs are a concern, ask about them ahead of time.
• Ask about dress codes or suggestions for each cruise.
• If you get seasick on the open ocean, you may be perfectly fine on a river. But once you set sail, there's no turning back.

I attended the brunch cruise on Easter Sunday aboard the Lady of the Lake yacht on Lake Norman in Mooresville, NC. It was such an amazing experience! The brunch food was excellent! The cocktails were amazing! I ate indoors on the yacht with amazing views of the lake and lots of boats in the water...sail boats, speed boats, catamarans, etc. The Captain of the yacht, the servers, the cooks and bartenders were extremely nice and accommodating! I will be doing this again! I'll likely try the dinner cruise with live entertainment.

Lady of The Lake. This experience was everything! Well worth the money. Beautiful place. The food was well seasoned and delicious. The staff was nice and professional. Especially our bartender Thomas he rocks and make awesome drinks. The only bad thing I can say is the music was only geared towards the really older crowd and I'm 51. But there was not a good mix of music for everyone. And alot of real slow music no upbeat music.But the ride was stunning. We will do again.

A great place for a day out on the lake. I did the Easter brunch ride on lady of the lake and it was amazing. Food was delicious, drinks were wonderful and the whole atmosphere was fantastic. Great customer service as well. We had the perfect weather too so it worked out completely. Highly recommend doing one of their tours.

"Le Bon Vie" which means “The Good Life” is a meticulously maintained Azimut Atlantis Italian sport yacht. At just over 41’ she features ample open air seating options for up to 12 guests, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large salon and galley, three air conditioners and an extremely comfortable and settled ride, not to mention an amazing sound system with 28 speakers and sub-woofers in 4 different sound zones!

"Island Girl" is a 400 Sq. ft. floating tiki paradise ready to host up to 18 guests in unparalleled island life glory! She features a full tiki bar with under bar lighting, Adirondack chairs for catching some rays, Bluetooth sound system for keeping the party going and an onboard marine head (bathroom) for your convenience. Sailing aboard "Island Girl" is truly a unique and memorable experience.

We are a legal charter operator that has undergone the rigorous certification and inspection process with the Lake Norman Marine Commission. Fully licensed and insured, we are compliant with all applicable state, local and federal regulations.

We only hire experienced US Coast Guard licensed captains. Your safety is our top priority.

We offer a much better boat! Many so-called charter operators on the lake operate on nothing more than an average pontoon boat with no way to escape the heat, no restroom facilities, and sometimes (oh the stories we hear) no running engine!

We offer a 5% discount for all police and active and retired military.

Robin (Steward)

If you would like to step the service up to the highest level, you may opt to have a steward onboard your yacht. Our steward Robin has over 20 years experience in the guest service and hospitality industry, serving as a flight attendant, and working with boats for the last five years. She is available to help serve your meals, assist with drinks, water toys etc. she is CPR AED, and basic emergency medical service trained. You can book a stewards service for a flat $150 / 4 hours or $200 / 8 hours.
