• On a 50-minute Extended Airboat Tour (the tour you're looking at now) , you'll explore the grasslands and get deeper into the mangroves where the larger boats can't go. Boats seat up to 9 guests.
• On a 30-minute Grassland Airboat Tour , you'll glide through the expansive grassland and mangroves on 259 acres of private land. Boats seat a maximum of 15 guests.
• On a 50-minute Private Airboat Tour , you get the same amazing experience as the Extended Tour, but the entire boat is reserved only for your party. Boats seat up to 9 guests.
• Add a 30-minute Swamp Buggy Tour to explore exclusive grasslands and cypress forests from a raised buggy, which seats up to 22 guests.

We'll split your party onto multiple Extended Airboat Tours, with airboats that seat a maximum of 9 guests. Or you might consider a Grasslands Airboat Tour , with airboats that seat about 15 guests.

• Any passengers aged 17 or younger must be accompanied by at least one passenger who is aged 18 or older.
• Coast Guard regulations require everyone, even infants on your lap, to buy a seat.
• Consider bringing sunblock, bug spray, and comfortable shoes and clothes.
• You might get a little wet from small splashes and spray.
• If rain is forecasted, we recommend bringing a poncho.
• Many guests see wild alligators, birds, and other wildlife on their airboat and buggy tours, but Mother Nature makes no guarantees, so neither can we.
• You will definitely see alligators and other rescued animals in our Animal Sanctuary , an attraction included with all our tours.
• Our tours run rain or shine, except when there's a thunderstorm.
• We don't refund bookings if you cancel too close to a tour's departure time (check the policy when booking).
• Sometimes we need to delay due to thunderstorms or other unforeseen circumstances. We'll do our best to reschedule or issue a refund.
• Our airboat docks are handicap accessible, but wheelchairs can’t be loaded onto our airboats.
• If anyone in your party is using a wheelchair, please be sure they can move from the wheelchair onto the airboat.
• For everyone's safety, pets and service animals are not allowed in the Animal Sanctuary , near the boat launch, on airboats, or on swamp buggies.

Approximately 1.5 – 2 hours and the time will fly by like one of our airboats! Please be here 15 minutes before your tour starts.

Each tour varies according to the mood of our wildlife. Customers may see:  American Alligators, Bald Eagle, Racoons, Wild Boar, Turtles, Snakes, Numerous different Bird Species. Live Oak trees, draped in mysterious Spanish Moss, Black Willow Trees, Swamp Red Maple Trees, Wild Iris, and Spider Lillys.

Chances are very high you will see an Alligator on our tours. Especially, in the warmer months. The alligators in our swamps are wild creatures so we can’t guarantee an Alligator spotting.

We offer private tours every day including wedding parties, corporate outings, special events, family reunions, etc. Ask our staff or check our site for details.

We are available to accommodate any kind of group/private tours for you and your party.

Snacks and drinks are always acceptable on our tours.

Sunscreen and bug spray are usually recommended. We will also have sunscreen and bug spray available for purchase in our souvenir shop, while supplies last.

While they are not mandatory. We highly recommend that you book to ensure you will have a seat. We do book up very quickly.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: 24 hour-no questions asked full refund.

Inside of 24 hours, there will be no refunds.

We are a rain or shine event. In the event of severe weather that is unsafe to operate our tours, we will refund or reschedule your tour.

We may delay the start or end of any tour based upon real time conditions and hazards.

Yes, there are a few restrictions for riding on our Airboat tours. The following are not permitted: expectant mothers, children under the age of 5, and persons with neck or back problems are not permitted.

Set out on a 20,000-acre (8,095-hectare) tract of tidewater cypress swamp close to the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. Your flat-bottomed airboat is powered by an aircraft propeller to allow a fast, fluid trip through the shallow marshes. Feel the wind on your face as you zip into bayous lined with mossy cypress and tupelo-gum trees and your pilot points out a stunning variety of wildlife.

Prepare to see plenty of alligators in the warmer months (and warmer days in winter), some of which may be out sunning themselves on rocks! Your guide may even feed the gators, affording you amazing photo opportunities. Also keep your eyes open for turtles, snakes, egrets, herons and ibis. You may even catch sight of a hawk, owl or bald eagle. In the cooler months, look for white-tailed deer, raccoons and the large rodents known as nutria.

Be sure to check out the indoor exhibits of alligators — including an albino alligator — before making your way back to downtown New Orleans.

Tour will be split into two parts:

Part I: Oak Alley Plantation Tour

Embark on a captivating journey through history at Oak Alley Plantation and delve into the mystique of Louisiana’s swamps on our unforgettable combo tour! The Oak Alley Plantation is located 70 miles or about 1 hour 10 min from the French Quarter. The pick-up begins at 8:15am and/or 10:45 am(afternoon tour). We use our sister company “Alert Transportation” for the ground transportation service. The driver goes hotel to hotel for the pick-up service. We ask that you allow us up to 30 minutes for the pick-up service. Pick up will be curbside of your hotel. You will spend approximately 2 hours at the plantation. The house tour will be about 35 minutes in length. The Oak Alley plantation house tour is provided by Plantation tour guides. The remainder of your time will be spent with self-exploration of the grounds. If you use your time wisely, you can grab a sandwich at the gift shop for lunch and still have time to walk the grounds. We organized that tour from Australia well ahead of time, planning to visit Zvenigorod with big group of extended family and friends with teens as part of our New Year trip to Moscow. We also visited very interesting Museum of Russian desserts and learn a lot about ancient russian sweets; have a look on our past in the Museum of USSR and bought some yammie things to enjoy later.
