Originally designed for the U.S.S. Defiant , and first used in service in the Dominion War , Quad Cannons fire a series of very high damage bursts in a very narrow firing arc. Quad Cannons are tied directly into the ships engines and will drain nominal Engine power when firing. Energy weapons are equally effective against starship shields and hull.

Quad Cannons are a Bind on Pickup item and are unique in that they are the only weapon of its class to have a [Dmg]x3 modifier and an integrated fourth [Dmg] modifier, other than the Kumari Phaser Wing Cannons , which are locked to Andorian Escorts. This is also seen in the Disruptor Quad Cannons and/or Plasma Quad Cannons .

Phaser Quad Cannons are Very Rare and come with [Dmg]x3 as their modifier suffixes. They have an additional 3% final damage boost integrated into the weapon, acting as a fourth [Dmg] modifier, one more compared to most other weapons of their quality.

Ultra Rare Modifier: Once upgraded to Ultra Rare quality receives:

• CrtX : +2% Critical Chance, +10% Critical Severity

Epic Modifier: All energy weapons upgraded to Epic quality receive:

Quad Cannons are level-less and so do not have a mark number. Instead the quad cannons scale with the player meaning their damage output is proportional to the player's current level .

• Despite what the description and tooltip say, they can be equipped on Fighters and Command Battlecruisers as well, and possibly any ship that can mount dual cannons.
• Quad cannons cannot be crafted or purchased from vendors.
• Only equipable in the fore weapon slot.
• This weapon has a base damage of 208.1 damage, has a cycle time of 5 seconds and fires 6 shots per firing cycle. This results in a DPS (adjusted for cycle time) of 249.7 damage per second at base level.

The Treaty of Algeron, signed in 2311 by the Romulan Star Empire and the United Federation of Planets , prohibited Federation cloaking devices. This agreement has been a source of controversy in Starfleet, where some officers believed it severely limited tactical options and put the Federation at a disadvantage. Although the Federation initially agreed to follow the treaty after the destruction of the Romulan homeworld, in early 2409 Starfleet was authorized to develop and implement cloaking technology on selected ships.

• The Cloak is a toggle ability, meaning it can be turned on indefinitely. However, the Cloak can be shut off if the ship enters combat, takes damage, encounters a dialogue box, or warps out of the system.
• The Cloak is different from the Battle Cloak , as this Cloak cannot be activated in Red Alert.
• The Cloak console is not a part of the Enhanced Engineering Systems set.
• This console was originally unique per character. However, it has been changed so that now any character can have as many as they want.

Console - Universal - Quantum Warhead Module [ | ]

The Console - Universal - Quantum Warhead Module is obtained from:

The Warhead Module contains a load of six Quantum torpedoes ready for simultaneous fire. Once fired, the system automatically reloads over time. At any time the system can be activated to fire as many torpedoes as are currently loaded.

This console provides a passive bonus to torpedo weapon damage.
