Tom Allen has added lots of extra dates to his current Completely tour due to phenomenal demand. The tour will now run well into next year, currently finishing at the Edinburgh Playhouse on June 8, 2024.

On the night: If you have pre-booked please come to the bar to order from the gig menu and sit at one of the reserved tables.

Please be aware that we operate no re-entry for gigs. This means that once you have entered the building, you cannot go out and re-enter. This policy is in line with other major music venues across the UK and put in place on police advice. No re-entry is clearly signposted as you come through security on the front door. There is a fenced-off area on the terrace for people who go out to smoke or vape.

There are plenty of welcoming and good value B&Bs & boutique hotels in Bexhill. The De La Warr Pavilion regularly uses the following:

• By Car If driving from the London area: Take the M25, then A21 to Hastings. Turn off at John‘s Cross and follow the signs to Bexhill. OR Take the A22 to Eastbourne, go across the Bishop roundabout to the A271 and follow the signs to Bexhill and the seafront. The De La Warr Pavilion is on the Marina. From the Brighton area: Follow the A27 out of Brighton until you arrive in Bexhill On Sea.
• Parking Please be aware the Rother District car park outside the De La Warr Pavilion operates paid parking until 7pm. After this time parking is free.

Within the limits of this Grade One listed building, the De La Warr Pavilion strives to be fully accessible with a range of facilities to support your visit.

Assistance Dogs are permitted into the building.

The Who’s TOMMY opened on March 28, 2024 (previews began March 8, 2024), and as of July 21, will have played 20 previews and 132 regular performances at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street).

Three decades after the epic pop-culture musical theatre sensation first bowed on Broadway, original Tony Award®-winning creators  Pete Townshend  (music, lyrics, book) and  Des McAnuff  (direction, book) have reunited to bring the story of Tommy Walker to today’s audiences.

The cast of The Who’s TOMMY features Ali Louis Bourzgui as Tommy, Alison Luff  as Mrs. Walker,  Adam Jacobs  as Captain Walker,  John Ambrosino  as Uncle Ernie,  Bobby Conte  as Cousin Kevin, and  Christina Sajous  as The Acid Queen. Completing the cast are  Haley Gustafson , Jeremiah Alsop ,  Ronnie S. An innate knack for pinball catapults him from reticent adolescent to celebrity savior.

Tom Jones Confirms North American Tour (Get the Dates Here!)

Tom Jones is currently singing his heart out on a UK and EU tour and gearing up to head to North America. The crooner recently announced that he will continue on tour in the United States and Canada this fall. Despite being 84 years old, he isn’t taking much of a break between tours. Jones is heading to cities around the country including New York City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlantic City and more.

Jones proved that retirement is not an option for him right now between releasing music and touring. His most recent studio album was released in 2021, titled Surrounded by Time . After he released the album, he became the oldest male artist to top the UK album chart. Several of the songs were set aside for decades before he felt he could perform them well enough.

Jones explained at the time of the album’s release, “So I had two songs. I had ‘I’m Growing Old,’ which Bobby Cole gave me in the 70s in Vegas. I told him, ‘I don’t think I’m old enough to record that yet.’ I said, ‘If I ever get there…’ ‘Maybe 70,’ I thought. But it turns out I’m 80. So I thought, ‘Well, now’s the time to do it.’ And the same thing with ‘Ol’ Mother Earth,’ which was a Tony Joe White song. I got to know Tony Joe White and I love his stuff. I thought, ‘What a great song that is!'”

He is now 83 years old and has something to say about retirement.

Tim Allen says he and Tom Hanks have been approached for ‘Toy Story 5’

"You wonder if four was too many. Is five going to be too much?"

Disney Pixar’s awaited Toy Story 5 could very well see the return of Tim Allen and Tom Hanks .

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show , Allen – who voices Buzz Lightyear in the beloved Toy Story franchise – revealed to the talkshow host that Disney has reached out to both him and Tom Hanks for a fifth Toy Story film. Tom Hanks famously voices the role of Woody.

When asked by Fallon if a fifth Toy Story film was in the works, Allen replied: “Bob Iger, head of Disney, said it was on and actually said it was going to happen. They have reached out to Tom and I to reprise the roles. They’re not saying anything about it… You wonder if four was too many. Is five going to be too much?”

Allen went on to add: “According to the scuttlebutt, the writer that’s doing it wrote one of the better ones and said, ‘If I didn’t get this right, I wouldn’t do it.’ It could be a very, very interesting way to reunite it.”

Tim Allen’s comments come after Pete Docter, chief creative officer at Disney Pixar, confirmed in June that both Woody and Buzz Lightyear will return in Toy Story 5 , which was previously announced by Bob Iger in February earlier this year.

Tim Allen, who voices Buzz,  previously confirmed  he’d return to the role in  Toy Story 5 . In February, the actor wrote on X: “See ya soon Woody, you are a sad strange little man and you have my pity. And off we go to a number 5! To infinity and beyond!”

It’s unclear if Tom Hanks will return to voice Woody in the fifth installment, as the actor hasn’t confirmed his involvement. Additionally the ending of Toy Story 4 closed a chapter in the franchise that could see Woody not return at all.

A release date for  Toy Story 5 has yet to be announced.

Released in 2019, Toy Story 4 scored a glowing five-star review , with Nick Reilly writing for NME : “It’s the winning combination of humour and heart that make Toy Story 4 such a successful proposition. It is, for this critic at least, the most satisfying of endings to the greatest franchise of all time.”
