I've tried accessing rzd.ru the last few days and I can't. Even if using a VPN or Tor.
Does the U.S. block me from accessing it or does Russia block people in the USA from accessing it?
Or is the site just down temporarily?

This website can’t be accessed from Thailand without a VPN as well. I could successfully access rzd.ru using both a Kazakh and a Russian VPN though.
Thanks so much. I use ExpressVPN which does not offer a Russian VPN but it does offer Kazakhstan and I just used that to access the site.

Actually, it is the passport number, that matters, as the train conductor would check your passport number to match the number shown in the ticket.
