will heart tour in 2023

Heart 's Ann Wilson has confirmed that she and her sister Nancy plan to reunite in 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their band.

Ann was asked about the upcoming milestone in a recent interview with Grammy.com .

"Yes, we do," she replied, of Heart's plans. "I'm not at liberty to say exactly what they are yet because it's such early days, but sure. It will be next year. And we're doing a thing. Definitely. We're still formulating it now."

Ann has been on tour this year with her solo band, supporting her latest album, Fierce Bliss , while Nancy been performing Heart material with her own band.

While the sisters weren't able to come to terms on a Heart tour this year, both have expressed optimism that they would be able to iron out something for next year.

"Nancy and I are OK with each other," Ann told Classic Rock magazine this spring . "We just have different ideas for what Heart should be, and we haven't figured out a compromise yet."

Nancy explained back in February that she and her sister couldn't agree on what line up to take with them on the next Heart tour. She said the band had a tour offer, but had to turn it down because Ann wanted to reshuffle the lineup. Their compromise for 2022, was to do what each of them wanted and come out with a plan for next year.

HEART performed during the first intermission of the National Hockey League ( NHL ) game between the Seattle Kraken and the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Park on January 1, 2024 in Seattle, Washington.

Ann and Nancy Wilson , along with their backing musicians, consisting of four members of Ann 's band TRIPSITTER — guitarist Ryan Wariner , bassist Tony Lucido , guitarist/keyboardist Paul Moak and drummer Sean Lane — plus guitarist Ryan Waters , who was in HEART 's 2019 touring lineup, played the classic HEART songs "Barracuda" and "Magic Man" . Also appearing at the event was Sir Mix-A-Lot , who performed "Jump On It" .

Last month, HEART played its first three concerts in more than four years — in Highland, California, at Greater Palm Springs in Palm Desert, California, and in Seattle, Washington,.

Prior to HEART 's December 27 show in Highland, the band's last performance took place in October 2019 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

In a recent interview with the 96.1 KLPX radio station, Ann Wilson , who has been working on solo projects, and in September of last year released the album "Another Door" , billed as ANN WILSON & TRIPSITTER , stated about HEART 's reunion concerts: "We're gonna see how it works with the HEART thing, whether it feels like a level up. If it does feel like a level up, then we'll keep doing it. But that's what it has to be. It can't just slide down into jukebox time… It's gotta be real. No going through the motions. No phoning it in. No just getting on some kind of circuit just to take people's money and play the old songs again and again and again. No, we're gonna make it cool, really make it cool."

Ann 's sister, HEART guitarist Nancy Wilson made a surprise appearance during Ann 's concert on October 10, 2023 in Santa Rosa, California.

Nancy joined her sister and TRIPSITTER on stage at the Luther Burbank Center For The Arts in Nancy 's hometown to perform the HEART classic "Barracuda" .

Last June, Nancy revealed in an interview with Joe Rock of Long Island, New York's rock station 102.3 WBAB that she was working on fresh music with Ann . The 69-year-old musician, who has spent some of the recent months on tour with her new band NANCY WILSON'S HEART , broke the news of her latest collaboration with Ann while discussing some of her current recording projects, including "Tomboy" , which involves covering songs written by her male friends.

"I think right now I've been working on 'Tomboy' the most because I love the title, for one thing; it's almost like 'boy genius' or something," she explained. "But I've got a bunch of new ideas for songs. But I've also been writing new music with Ann too. So it's a real creative time. I think being on the tour right now, when I get home, I'm gonna really dig into the other projects, including finishing some new material with Ann . So it's really a good time to be creative. And I've got a new studio in my house, and so I can't wait to sort of run tape on stuff."

Asked if there is anything that she feels is really exciting because she feels it's something that's so different from what she's done before, Nancy said: "Yeah. Some of the stuff I've been working on with Ann is like that. I've also worked a bit with Sue Ennis , who used to work a lot with me and Ann for HEART music. And so I have some lyrics mainly that I worked on with Sue and took to Ann . And there's a couple of things that I'm really excited about. Very cool. Like stuff that you wouldn't have heard us do in the '80s. [It's] closer to what you would have heard us originally do in the '70s, late '70s. So it's really fun. It's just exciting and inspiring."

Nancy went on to say that she is really pleased to be collaborating on new material with her sister. "It's been a really nice kind of rediscovery of our relationship, working on music together again," she said. "So, yeah, I'm really happy about that."

Last April, Ann denied rumors of a rift with Nancy . In an interview in the 300th issue of Classic Rock , Ann said that she was "not" feuding with her younger sister. "It's a myth," she insisted. " Nancy and I are okay with each other. We just have different ideas for what HEART should be, and we haven't figured out a compromise yet.

"Fifty years on, I still want it to break barriers and rules, and she's more satisfied to ride the L.A. imaging thing and just do legacy stuff," Ann explained. "So that's a real split between us. Things like this will happen, though, but then they'll get better, and we'll love each other more."

Relations between the two sisters were considered to be at an all-time low after a much-publicized incident when Ann 's husband was arrested during a HEART tour in 2016. But in an interview with Rock Candy magazine to coincide with the release of her solo album "Fierce Bliss" , Ann said: "Things happen in families. And that was a really good example of something that happened within a family, and we worked it out. But the part that made it hard was that it happened in the public eye. If it had happened privately, we'd have got the family in a room and sat down and worked it out between us. Instead, the police were called, and this myth was born that Nancy and I were feuding, and we were at each other's throats all the time. And it's really not like that at all."

A proposed HEART tour fell through in 2022 after the two sisters failed to agree on which backing band to use. Ann wanted her guys, Nancy didn't.

In February 2022, Nancy spoke to Joe Rock about why HEART had been inactive for most of the previous three years.

" HEART had a big offer on the table [in 2021] for a bigger tour, but Ann wasn't interested in going out with my lineup of guys that we were out with before," she said. "She has a new lineup of guys that she wanted me to join up with. And I sort of [thought] I don't really know them and don't have loyalty yet for anybody like that."

HEART toured North America in the summer of 2019 after the aforementioned nasty split that kept the Wilson sisters estranged for three years.

Ann and Nancy had a falling out during HEART 's 2016 tour, when Ann 's husband Dean Welter was arrested for assaulting Nancy 's then-16-year-old twin sons in a backstage altercation at a gig near their hometown of Seattle. He pleaded guilty to two lesser assault charges to avoid jail time.

After completing HEART 's 2016 tour, Nancy formed a new band called ROADCASE ROYALE and released an album, "First Things First" . ROADCASE ROYALE featured three members of HEART along with Liv Warfield from Prince 's NEW POWER GENERATION band and her guitarist Ryan Wilson .

In Nancy 's new band NANCY WILSON'S HEART , she is joined in the group by her longtime collaborators, guitarist Ryan Waters , drummer Ben Smith , bassist Andy Stoller and keyboardist Dan Walker , along with powerhouse singer Kimberly Nichole .

Heart Closes 2023 With First Concerts in 4 Years

will heart tour in 2023

Nancy Wilson and Ann Wilson of Heart at their December 27, 2023 concert in Highland, Calif.

The logo on the drum kit was prominent as sisters Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson performed as Heart on December 27, 2023), and though their new run of shows are not yet being called a reunion, the concert in Highland, Calif. sure felt like one. (Watch clips from the first three performances below.) The sisters had first made a surprise announcement on Oct. 24 of their return for a New Year’s Eve show that was held in Seattle. The Dec. 27 performance that actually marked their first date as Heart since 2019 was revealed a few days later. Since then, they began to add more shows including many for summer 2024 with festival dates in Europe as well as several U.S. stadium shows where they’ll be opening for Def Leppard and Journey. On Jan. 29, they finally announced the “Royal Flush Tour,” with special guests Cheap Trick. Tickets for are available here .

As far as a reunion goes, never say never…

The sisters had shared the stage on Oct. 10 when Nancy Wilson was a surprise guest at Ann Wilson’s concert in Santa Rosa, Calif. As the stunned audience applauded, Nancy strode across the stage and planted a kiss on her sister’s cheeck, as the crowd roared its approval. The pair performed Heart ‘s classic rock favorite, “Barracuda,” marking the first time that the sisters had performed together on stage since 2019. In an extensive 2021 interview with Best Classic Bands, Nancy Wilson said, “Live Nation has put a big offer on the table for Heart for 2022. That will be a really fun thing to look forward to! Ann and I are both up for it.” Regrettably, things changed, and it never took place as the sisters again toured separately in 2022. That all changed with their big 2024 tour.

Watch them perform “Magic Man”

In 2016, the sisters had a falling out over a family dispute. Before Nancy and Ann reunited as Heart for their big “Love Alive” tour in 2019, they performed together in New York City for a benefit concert.

Whether the limited dates in Dec. 2023 would become a full reunion tour was still to be decided. In an with the 96.1 KLPX radio in Tucson, Ariz., Ann Wilson said of the concerts (via Blabbermouth.net ): “We’re gonna see how it works with the Heart thing, whether it feels like a level up. If it does feel like a level up, then we’ll keep doing it. But that’s what it has to be. It can’t just slide down into jukebox time… It’s gotta be real. No going through the motions. No phoning it in. No just getting on some kind of circuit just to take people’s money and play the old songs again and again and again. No, we’re gonna make it cool, really make it cool.”

The 17-song set included not one, not two, but three Led Zeppelin covers. Watch a portion of their performance of “Stairway to Heaven” at their Dec. 28 concert…

They closed out the year on December 31 in Seattle, ending the concert with “Crazy On You” and “Auld Lang Syne.”

“We’re sisters, first and foremost,” Nancy Wilson said in our interview, “and that’s the most important story to tell about Heart. It’s not really a business between me and Ann. It shouldn’t really be a business. That [doesn’t] help the sisterhood. That’s where the blood is thicker than water. That’s the biggest joy to celebrate.” She turns 70 on March 16, 2024. Older sister Ann turned 73 on June 19.

Heart is a successful rock band from Seattle, Washington based around sister duo Ann Wilson (lead singer) and Nancy Wilson (guitarist) who are now based in Vancouver, Canada.

The formation of Heart can be traced to two couples, Ann Wilson & Mike Fisher and Nancy Wilson & Roger Fisher. The group played numerous shows around their new home in Vancouver, and they recorded a demo tape with the assistance of producer Mike Flicker and session-guitarist and keyboard player, Howard Leese. Flicker went on to produce the band's first five albums due to their successful working relationship. Their debut album broke the top ten on the US billboard charts aided by two hit singles 'Magic Man' and 'Crazy On You', an impressive feat for a new artist.

Due to a bitter magazine article claiming the sisters were romantically involved, the band cut its ties with record label Mushroom Records and signed with a competitor, Portrait Records. In 1977 both labels released material by the band whilst trying to prevent the other from any future releases. Eventually a Seattle court forced Mushroom to recall the album so Heart could remix and rework tracks before officially releasing it again, featuring hit single 'Heartless' which went on to be certified platinum. The band enjoyed continuous success with it's following releases. 'Dog & Butterfly' became a double platinum selling record and Babe Le Strange became their third top ten chart hit. They supported the latter with a 77 city tour to expand their growing fan base even further.

The next two releases were not produced by Mike Flicker and struggled commercially without the hit singles of the previous, however in 1985 the band reclaimed their status with a self titled release which debuted at #1 in the US, sold five million copies and featured four top ten hits including the chart topping 'These Dreams'. The next album featured their most recognisable worldwide hit, 'Alone' which achieved number one in both the US and Canada in 1987. Their chart success simmered after this. The albums still performed well in the States and 'Brigade' became their highest placing in the UK charts, yet in 1995 the group went on hiatus with Ann wanting to concentrate on her family.

In 2002, Ann and Nancy returned to the road with a brand-new Heart lineup that included Scott Olson, Ben Smith, Alice in Chains bassist Mike Inez, and keyboardist Tom Kellock whilst still releasing original material. Heart is considered one of the most consistently successful American bands achieving top 10 billboard albums in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2010s and in 2013 they were rewarded with an induction into the Rock & Roll Hame of Fame.

Live reviews

It is a true inspiration to see Heart live. Founders of the band, Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson, play with so much passion it is nearly impossible not to get swept off your feet when seeing them perform. To see them blend all the diverse genres of music they play live is an immense pleasure to witness.

Heart has great musical chemistry whenever they perform live, which is probably highly influenced by the two main songwriters being sisters. The two sisters, Ann and Nancy, are looked at as musical legends within their genre for being some of the first female performers to front a hard rock band. They are rock and roll pioneers that helped pave the path for many that have come after them. Both Nancy and Ann have impeccable voices, and they often alternate between singing songs in the set. Nancy often has a softer, more pristine voice, while Ann has the more intense, stronger voice, which is able to pull off the more hard rock songs like “Crazy on You”. Both the sisters play guitar on songs, but Nancy usually is more likely to be seen on the guitar while Ann is more likely to be seen singing her heart out on the microphone.

The rest of the band plays integral roles in the performance as well contributing to the strong rhythmic foundation of the performance and playing some important leads on the guitar and other instruments. Ann is also known to add a more orchestrated sound to the performance with her ability to play the flute on such songs as “Walkin’ Good”. It is not unexpected that a band that has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a band that has sold over 35 million records would put on such an amazing show. They have even impressed the likes of Led Zeppelin when they performed a cover of the song, “Stairway to Heaven”. Heart is so interesting to see live because of their wide diversity of musical sounds. One moment they could be inspiring their audience to rock out to a more heavy oriented song like, “Barracuda”, and the next moment they could soothe the audience with one of their folk ballads.

Some Bands are just infallible. HEART is one of those Bands. Even when they are obviously either having a "off night" (all Bands deal with) or suffering from a Bad mix which, I think was the case at the Xfinity Center last night. Or both? I've seen Bands deal with this in numerous ways usually to the detriment of the sound guy and the inevitable effect on the performance on the whole.

Not so with HEART and not just the Wilson Sisters but, the whole Band. They fought their way thru the mess and as always gave everything they had for the audience. Never once making a comment or hostile "signals" to the side of stage. Though at one point there was a mass "pick throwing" in that direction but accompanied with smiles so... Professionals through out.

To no surprise Ann Wilson is still the epicenter on any stage on any given night with a voice that is still thunderous and commanding and it is all her with no enhancements what so ever.

They left the stage at the appointed time of 10:30 but it was done rather abruptly.

As per their standard they encored with two Zeppelin Songs and honestly I think HEART might due Zeppelin better than Zeppelin now?!

American/Canadian hard rock outfit Heart have an inter-band history with a romantic twist as the two sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson were originally coupled to two of the musicians, brothers Mike and Roger Fisher. Years later, it is only the sisters who remain in the touring lineup yet they are now joined by long term musical collaborators who know the entire discography well.

There is a great mixture this evening of the original and recently revived hard rock/alt-folk sounds along with the classic balladic stylings of 'These Dreams'. The largest singalong comes for the iconic, timeless and ever powerful 'Alone' and although the thousand strong crowd bellow out the choruses, the vocal prowess of the sisters trumps them every time. They remind the audience of the fantastic music found on their early albums such as 'Magic Man' and 'Barracuda' which have both aged brilliantly. It is worth noting that as Heart approach their thousandth live show, they still obtain a huge amount of passion and determination for the live show and their loyal audiences.

The ladies looked amazing especially Ann wow she dropped weight and had a complete makeover I felt like I was back in 1975 now for the BAD 1) the noise for the show was low there was a lot of old people there but to have a rock show and turn the volume down was unacceptable I went to disturbed the next night at the same venue and then for the songs I love the most the 80's heart songs they played 3 of them these dreams, alone, and what about love they replaced the electric guitar with a acoustic guitar twice and a eucalele once u know that small guitar with double the strings ? But barracuda and magic man were full electric so that was cool but overall I think the show was geared more toward the geriatric crowd even Joan Jett's set was mainly very mainstream songs both songs from light of day ,cherry bomb (made famous by that movie the runaways) and the usual hits overall a 6 out of 10 for me not a bad show but definitely not in my high tier of shows and I've been to hundreds over the years

The concert was great, a little hot n muggy but well worth it. We had lawn seats n it was just so packed out if we had brought lawn chairs we wouldn't have been able to sit in them not enough room, of course we did get there late cause of the traffic going into the race track. Kinda ridiculous actually. Riverbend really needs to fix the problem, traffic from Coney island and the race track ended up walking a mile from the parking problem, 3 very popular events at the same time is just CRAZY.... over all the waiting to get parked it was a great concert.

Thoroughly enjoyable gig, if a tad on the short side. Playing a main set of only 50 minutes is not really acceptable, plus covering 3 Led Zepp tracks as an encore seemed a somewhat self-indulgent homage to their idols. That said, it was great to witness the Wilson sisters in person, Anne's singing and Nancy's guitar work (and vice versa) both top drawer. Highlights - Anne's stripped down version of Alone, and, as always, Crazy On You.

In summary, a great gig but 20 mins more show time and more Heart songs please ladies.

What can I say but OH MY GOD! Heart were absolutely amazing! Anne and Nancy's voices are every bit as powerful, alluring, and enchanting as ever. The band was super. Joan Jett and Cheap Trick were both pretty dang good. Waiting out the downpour made it all even more worth it. I only wish we could've seen more of them, but the rain forced it to go short. The set list was just spectacular. I hope they play RR again!

I've been seeing heart since I was 14 yrs old I think they are amazing. I learned to sing the songs just like Ann Wilson. She has such a powerful voice. I learned a lot about Ann from Ann's life through her songs. Nancy is a great guitar player and has a great voice as well. I met them at a book signing in huntington yrs ago. I see them everytime they come to NY. I'm one of there biggest fans.

Heart are brilliant. Anne and Nancy can still sing and play like they are still in the 80's. Top notch performance and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra gave songs an amazing lift. Only downside was the very short set. 60 minutes then went off. 15 minutes of encores so 80 minutes tops. So not VFM.

Heart was great! Ann & Nancy still have it going on. Only problem was the venue. I wish they would have stuck to singing their hits and left off what they wanted to sing. Maybe some of their old songs were just out of their vocal range today...dunno. Otherwise, I recommend seeing them!

Heart Adds Second Concert to 2023 Tour Schedule

by Matt Friedlander October 31, 2023, 6:51 pm

After announcing plans for a New Year’s Eve concert in their hometown of Seattle, Heart has confirmed another show for the waning days of 2023.

Videos by American Songwriter

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson are now set to visit the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, on December 28. The event has been billed as “A Special Performance in the Desert.”

[RELATED: Heart to Play First Concert in 4 Years on New Year’s Eve in Seattle]

Tickets for the newly announced gig go on sale to the general public this Friday, November 3, at 10 a.m. PT, while presale tickets will be available one day earlier, Thursday, at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets for the event are on sale via StubHub .

As previously reported , Heart’s December 31 concert in Seattle will take place at Pledge Climate Arena and will feature Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening as the opening act. A fireworks display at the city’s famous Space Needle will follow the show.

The December 28 concert will mark Heart’s first live performance in more than four years. The last time that the group played a show was in October 2019, when its Love Alive Tour wrapped up.

Leading up to the Heart concerts, Ann Wilson has a series of upcoming tour dates with her solo group Tripsetter, in support of her recently released studio album, Another Door . The dates span from a November 28 show in Fort Wayne, Indiana, through a December 11 concert in Jacksonville, Florida.

Meanwhile, Ann has posted a special Halloween-themed video on her social media sites featuring her carving a pumpkin as she explains why she loves the holiday, as Cream’s “Strange Brew” plays in the background.

“Halloween’s always been my maybe favorite holiday, just because it’s just one day out of the year when people will be whoever they want to be,” she notes. “You know, somebody who cuts the grass can mix and mingle with the boss because people look like someone else. There are no rules … they can all hang out together. That was why I used to love Halloween so much, throw big parties, and just go all out. I like how into it the culture is. It’s fun and whimsical.”

As the video winds down, Wilson reveals, “This will be the third year in a row we’ve had a pumpkin. And I get to hollow it out and make a face, and kind of open up a mini Halloween portal.”

Wilson also has posted a new video on her YouTube channel in which she discusses “ Ruler of the Night ,” one of the tracks from Another Door . In the clip, she explains that the song tells the story of a nerd who opens up their closet door and sees a garment that “when you put it on, it just transforms you into somebody else.”

“The song grows really fast from the nerd opening up the closet door and putting on the jacket to stepping outside the front door and being on the red carpet and the crowd roaring,” she continues. “And who’s in charge here? The ruler of the night! It’s kind of a funny, almost cinematic little story.”

Heart Announces 2024 ‘Royal Flush’ Tour With Cheap Trick

Heart has announced the 2024 Royal Flush tour with support from Cheap Trick , marking their first extended trek since 2019.

The North American leg will launch on April 20 in Greenville, South Carolina, and conclude on Sept. 22 in Morrison, Colorado. Heart will also head to Europe in late June through mid-July, with Squeeze opening select dates.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday through Heart's website . You can see the full list of tour dates below.

Heart's Recent Touring History and Family Drama

Heart last hit the road in 2019 for the Love Alive tour, ending a three-year hiatus and estrangement between Ann and Nancy Wilson . The sisters put the band on hold after Ann's husband was arrested for allegedly hitting one of Nancy's children during Heart's 2016 tour.

Following the 2019 trek, Heart once again took an extended break, during which both sisters released solo music and Nancy toured under the name Nancy Wilson's Heart. Although some onlookers have questioned whether tensions remain between the Wilson sisters, Ann insisted in 2022 that there was no lingering animosity.

"It's a myth," the singer  said . "Nancy and I are OK with each other. We just have different ideas for what Heart should be, and we haven't figured out a compromise yet."

Heart reunited for a trio of shows at the end of 2023, marking their first performances in four years. In addition to their headlining tour, they'll support  Def Leppard  and Journey on a handful of their stadium tour dates this summer. Nancy Wilson also said last June that she and Ann were working on new material that's "closer to what you would have heard us originally do in the '70s, late '70s. So it's really fun, it's just exciting and inspiring."

Heart Extends Massive 2024 Reunion Tour with Shows in Nashville, L.A., N.Y.C. and More — See the Dates!

The rock legends will be setting out on tour along with Cheap Trick, BTO featuring Randy Bachman and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening

After a five year hiatus, allow Heart to go "Crazy on You" with their thrilling live show and long-awaited return to the stage!

The rockers previously announced they were setting out on a massive tour in 2024 — marking their reunion and first run of live shows since 2019 — and, on Tuesday, Heart revealed they're expanding the dates. The group helmed by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson will now continue their run, titled the Royal Flush Tour, across North America through the end of the year, along with an A-list slate of special guests.

While the "Barracuda" group's shows this year were originally set to kick off in late April and wrap up by September, they'll now be out on the road through the fall until mid-December.

Heart's 2024 tour kicks off on April 20 in Greenville, South Carolina, continues in the U.S. through May, before heading to Europe for a handful of dates in June and July. On July 30, they'll resume their North American leg in Columbus, Ohio, and then play through the rest of the summer and into the fall.

The newly announced dates begin on Sept. 26 in San Francisco and last until Dec. 15 in Las Vegas. Fans will be able to catch the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees at stadiums in major cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Nashville, New York City, Vancouver, San Diego and many others.

Throughout the Royal Flush Tour, the "Magic Man" band will be joined by fellow rock legends Cheap Trick, and select shows will also include support from BTO featuring Randy Bachman and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening, the project from the son of the English rock group's original drummer.

The Wilson sisters shared a statement in press release about the upcoming concerts.

"We’re so excited to announce more tour dates," Ann, 73, said. “The exceptional talent of the band — Ryan, Ryan, Paul, Tony and Sean — brings a whole new level of energy to Heart’s live performance."

Never miss a story — sign up for  PEOPLE's free daily newsletter  to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from juicy celebrity news to compelling human interest stories.

Nancy, 70, added, "I am incredibly proud of the show that we have crafted and am looking forward to reconnecting with even more fans. We can’t wait to share our music with everyone and celebrate the big electric energy of a completely live on the spot rock show."

Courtesy of AEG Presents

The Royal Flush Tour comes after the rock favorites celebrated their 50th anniversary last year.

It also marks their first time out on the road together since 2019, when the "Alone" group set out on their Love Alive Tour. At the time, the shows saw the Wilsons coming back together after the two experience a brief rift. (In 2016, Ann's husband,  Dean Wetter, assaulted Nancy's then-16-year-old sons  after they reportedly left a tour bus door open, which he pleaded guilty to two non-felony assault charges.)

Both Ann and Nancy also recently took time to record their own solo efforts: Ann with Fierce Bliss in 2022 and Nancy with You and Me in 2021.

Jamie McCarthy/Getty

The two hitmakers have both explained to PEOPLE in interviews that taking time apart only makes their work together in Heart stronger.

"[Taking time apart] allows us to bring stuff back to Heart that we didn't have before," Ann said in a 2022 interview . "We love each other. She and I really look forward to smooth sailing."

Meanwhile, Nancy shared in a 2021 conversation that it was "so amazing" to get back out on the road together on their 2019 tour. "I could see that the Heart fans really loved the big spectacle aspects of the show — even if Ann didn't love the bubble machine I had requested," she said. "But most of all we saw how much the Heart fans loved the Heart sisters reunited."

While the previously announced concerts are already on sale , tickets for the fall dates go on sale later this week. Ticket sales kick off with a presale for Citi cardmembers, which lasts from now until Thursday at 10 p.m. local time. The general on-sale will then follow on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.

Professional golfer Grayson Murray, 30, dies by suicide after withdrawing from Charles Schwab Challenge

Murray was a two-time winner on the pga tour.

grayson-murray-cwc-g.png

Professional golfer Grayson Murray has died. He was 30 years old. Murray's death comes after he withdrew Friday during the second round of the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge, citing an illness.

A day after Murray's death rocked the larger sporting world, his parents announced in a statement through the PGA Tour that he died by suicide.

"We would like to thank the PGA Tour and the entire world of golf for the outpouring of support," Eric and Terry Murray said. "Life wasn't always easy for Grayson, and although he took his own life, we know he rests peacefully now."

An undeniable talent, Murray was the second-youngest golfer in history to make the cut on the Korn Ferry Tour before turning eventually pro in 2015. He bounced up and down between the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour over the course of his career, becoming a polarizing figure at times because of frequent outbursts on the course.

Still, his potential consistently flashed as he won twice on the PGA Tour -- capturing the 2017 Barbasol Championship and 2024 Sony Open in Hawaii -- and three times on the Korn Ferry Tour.

When he won the Sony Open, it seemed as if Murray had turned a corner after battling anxiety, depression and alcohol abuse throughout his young career. He said in January that he had been sober since early 2023. He also shared that he was unprepared for life as a pro when he first got out of college and began traveling.

"Yes, I would drink during tournament weeks," Murray said after his Sony Open win. "It was my outlet. I thought I was invincible coming out here as a 22-year-old, winning as a rookie, played three days hungover when I won. Best thing and worst thing that ever happened to me was winning my rookie year -- but also feeling like I was invincible."

Murray cited his faith and his fiancee as helping ground him, and he spoke about his road to recovery.

"It took me a long time to get to this point," he said. "… I'm a different man now. I would not be in this position right now today if I didn't put that drink down eight months ago."

Murray added: "People who don't know me, I'll have to show it through my actions, and they'll get back on Grayson's side. My demeanor is so much better. It's really a lot of fun now. I really don't live and die by a golf shot anymore. I'm not going to sit here and say it's going to be all glory and roses, but it's going to be a lot better."

The PGA Tour considered postponing play at the Charles Schwab Challenge as the golf world was rocked by Murray's death . However, his parents insisted the tournament continue as scheduled as it was what their son would have wanted.

"We were devastated to learn -- and are heartbroken to share -- that PGA Tour player Grayson Murray passed away this morning. I am at a loss for words," said PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan in a Saturday statement. "The PGA Tour is a family, and when you lose a member of your family, you are never the same. We mourn Grayson and pray for comfort for his loved ones.

"I reached out to Grayson's parents to offer our deepest condolences, and during that conversation, they asked that we continue with tournament play. They were adamant that Grayson would want us to do so. As difficult as it will be, we want to respect their wishes."

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Murray attended Wake Forest, East Carolina and Arizona State where he played golf before turning pro. In 141 career PGA Tour starts, Murray had 10 top-10 finishes, including those two victories.

The PGA Tour has sent grief counselors to both tournament sites this week and made others available virtually for its members.

‘when calls the heart’ actress mamie laverock on life support after 5-story balcony fall.

will heart tour in 2023

“When Calls the Heart” actress Mamie Laverock, 19, is fighting for her life after falling five stories.

According to a GoFundMe campaign that her family created, Mamie was taken to a hospital in Winnipeg after a “medical emergency.” Her mom “was able to get there in time to save her life.”

Laverock was then transferred to a hospital in Vancouver, Canada, and was expected to stay “upwards of a month or more.” Though her recovery was “unclear,” the GoFundMe noted that “she was alive and is showing signs of improvement.”

However, things later got worse.

Her parents Nicole and Rob revealed that Mamie “was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories.”

“She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support,” they revealed. “We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.”

Laverock’s “When Calls the Heart” co-stars have shown their support after the tragedy.

Erin Krakow wrote on Instagram, “💔 I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too. Link in bio.”

Johannah Newmarch, who plays Mamie’s mother on the Hallmark show, wrote on X, “I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for all who care for Mamie. Please help if you can. They need all the support they can get to make it through this."

Aside from playing nursing student Rosaleen on “When Calls the Heart,” Mamie has credits in “The Killing Game,” “Wedding of Dreams,” “The Hollow Child,” “A Series of Unfortunate Events,” and “Spotlight on Christmas.”
