Carnival Elation deck 12 plan (Spa-Gym-Waterslides)

The fore-located Spa Carnival and Fitness Center (open between 6 am - 10 pm) is the ship’s wellness complex consisting of Gymnasium (complimentary, floor-ceiling windows, equipped with free weights /TROY dumbbells, weight machines, treadmills, steppers, ellipticals, recumbent exercise cycles, Concept 2/indoor rowing machines, Kinesis wall), Fitness Studio (for classes), Beauty Salon (facials, manicure/pedicure, hair styling-cutting-coloring, eyebrow shaping, makeup, waxing, grooming-barbering, teeth whitening, Medi-Spa), Relaxation Room (lounge), Treatment Rooms (incl for acupuncture, couples massage, hot stone, Botox, body wraps /dry float bed), Spa Reception, separate male/female lockers (2 changing rooms, each with complimentary sauna/steam room/showers). The lockers’ showers are glass-enclosed and multi-jet. Showerheads are massaging (1 rain head above, 4 side). During massages and wraps, guests should wear bathing suits. The ship has no Thermal Suites (Tepidarium with heated loungers). ZSPA (teen spa treatments for teenagers 12-17 yo) include facials, massages, scrubs, manicures/pedicures, hair styling-coloring-cutting. Daily, at the Cole Porter Club Lounge (aft on Promenade Deck) are scheduled complimentary health seminars (fitness-wellness-beauty) themed on aging, posture, detox, dieting, weight-loss, skincare, pro-collagen, acne attack /teens).

Some of the fitness classes are complimentary (aerobics, stretching, abs, body conditioning, Tai Chi) and some are at fee pp (Yoga, Pilates, spinning, boot camp, indoor cycling, personal training sessions). Follows the list of offered on Carnival cruises fitness classes (lead by professional trainers). In brackets are shown duration in minutes and cost (prices in USD pp) – Personal Training (30 min $45, 60 min $85, 180 min /3 courses $210), Nutritional Consultation (60 min $85), Metabolism Test (30 min $35), Boot Camp (4-day body sculpturing $120). Priced at $12 pp are Tour de Cycle (indoor cycling, 45 min), Pathway to Yoga (45 min) and Pathway to Pilates (45 min).

Carnival Spa menu of Medi-Spa treatments includes - Acupuncture (by certified acupuncturist, first session 50 min $150, additional sessions up to 45 min $125, first facial session 75 min, additional facial sessions up to 60 min), Medi-Spa Cosmetic Treatments (free doctor consultation), Dermal Filler Treatments (Restylane, Perlane /30 min), BOTOX Cosmetic, DYSPORT Wrinkle Treatments (both are upper face, nonsurgical and FDA approved /30 min). All Medi-Spa treatments are administered on the ship by a dedicated physician (licensed medical doctor).

ZSPA services are available between 8 am - 8 pm. Upon booking treatments, teens must be accompanied by an adult (parent/guardian) who completes and signs the ZSPA form.

Aft on Sports Deck 12 is located the Twister Waterslide entrance. Midship is the Camp Ocean's upper level (2 of 2). The Twister Waterslide's entry-level here was installed during the ship's refurbishment in 2017.

Carnival Elation was one of the first of Carnival Cruise Line's popular Fantasy-class ships and has been delighting cruisers of all age groups ever since. Chock full of amenities and activities, she was designed to create a fun-filled vacation for everyone in the family. Welcoming and comfortable, the 70,367-ton, 2,052-guest ship is sure to give you the time of your life! Circle "C" club offers a "cool" place for those ages 12 to14 with a host of video games, dance parties, Karaoke and more. Pleasing teenagers ages 15-17 isn't easy, but they are sure to be thrilled with their very own Club 02 — open around the clock — with music, video games, food and new friends. Families can play 9-hole mini-golf course, shoot some hoops and jog around the padded track at the City Sports Park.

Be as active or not as you like on Carnival Elation. Quiet will surround you at the adults-only Serenity Retreat — a delightful oasis of tranquility.
