Dhak Dhak gets OTT release date

The recent Hindi film Dhak Dhak is all set to premiere on Netflix on December 8, as per the streaming app. The film, starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi, hit theatres on October 13 and opened to positive reviews. 

Directed by Tarun Dudeja, Dhak Dhak has been produced by Taapsee Pannu’s Outsiders Films, in collaboration with Viacom18 Studios.

Dhak Dhak stars Fatima Sana Shaikh as a travel vlogger. Ratna Pathak Shah plays an elderly woman who expresses her desire to Fatima to do a bike trip to Ladakh’s Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable road. As they strive to make the trip happen, along the way they meet Dia Mirza’s character, who is a Muslim homemaker but moonlights as a mechanic. Parallelly, there is also Sanjana Sanghi, who wants to go for one last adventure before getting married. The four women get on their bikes and embark on their journey, facing several hurdles along the way.

This week, OTT will premiere the road trip adventure film Dhak Dhak , which was released in October this year. The film stars the four leading ladies, including Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanjana Sanghi. Dhak Dhak will be out on Netflix this Friday, December 8, 2023.

Tarun Dudeja directed the film, with the screenplay written by Parijat Joshi and Anvita Dutt. Four women leave New Delhi on motorcycles and embark on the journey of a lifetime, taking them to Ladakh, the location of the highest pass in the world. The film is inspired by a real-life event.

Dia Mirza's reflections on Dhak Dhak:

Earlier, while talking about being a part of Dhak Dhak , Dia penned a heartfelt note on her Instagram page. She stated, "Yes, it took 110 years for Indian cinema to tell a story like 'Dhak Dhak'. to put women like Mahi, Uzma, Sky, and Manjari in one frame. to depict women driving their narratives, in charge of their trajectories, and determined to choose courage over fear. agency over authority. Every. Single. Time. (sic)"

New Delhi: The Hindi film Dhak Dhak is an adventure drama film, and it stars Fatima Sana Sheikh, Dia Mirza, Sanjana Sanghi, and Ratna Pathak Shah with other actors. At the theatres, the film was made available to the public on October 13, 2023.

Now, following a decent run, in theatres, the movie has finally received a release date for OTT venues This coming Friday, December 08, 2023, will mark the release of the road trip adventure film Dhak Dhak on Netflix.

Fatima Sana Shaikh plays the role of a travel vlogger in Dhak Dhak. An elderly lady, played by Ratna Pathak Shah, tells Fatima that she wants to go biking on the highest motorable road in the world, Khardung La, in Ladakh.

Along their journey, they encounter the character played by Dia Mirza, a Muslim housewife who also works as a mechanic on the side. Meanwhile, there’s Sanjana Sanghi, who is planning her wedding and wants to have one final adventure before tying the knot.

On a quest for introspection, the four ladies hopped on their motorcycles and rode to the top of the world’s highest motorable pass.

When and Where to Watch?

Dhak Dhak Movie OTT Rights were acquired by Netflix, allowing them to broadcast the film on their platform. Netflix has announced that the premiere of the recently released Hindi film Dhak Dhak will take place on December 8th, according to the streaming service.

Makers of the upcoming drama film ‘Dhak Dhak’ on Thursday announced the release date of the title track of the film ‘Re Banjara’. Taking to Instagram, actor Fatima Sana Shaikh shared the poster of the song which she captioned, “Get ready to live it up #DhakDhak title track #ReBanjara – out TOMORROW. In cinemas 13th October.”

Titled ‘Re Banjara’ the song will be out on October 6. Helmed by Tarun Dudeja the film stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead roles. ‘Dhak Dhak’ is all set to hit the theatres on October 13. The song’s poster features all the lead cast of the film. The film’s story revolves around four ordinary women who come together for an extraordinary journey of emotions, adventures, and discovery on a bike trip from Delhi to Khardung La. It explores how this journey changed their destinies forever. The film is produced by Viacom 18 and Taapsee Pannu. Apart from this, Fatima will also be seen in director Anurag Basu’s film ‘Metro..In Dino’ and in Meghna Gulzar’s next ‘Sam Bahadur’ alongside Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra. Sanjana Sanghi on the other hand, will be next seen in ‘Pink’ fame director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s untitled hindi film. Pankaj Tripathi and Parvathy Thiruvothu are also part of the movie. According sources, Sanjana and Tripathi will be playing the roles of daughter and father in the film.
