got my first pair of doc martens, i really wanted a pair of lows, was considering jarrick low smooth platform or 1461 quad platforms, went into store and tried these assuming they were going to be painful on my ankles but they felt amazing (due to ankle support) and are super comfy, cute and make my feet look small. They suit everything in my diverse wardrobe as well, but warning try on in store as I had to size down from my usual size.

I am so happy with the product of these shoes! They are quite comfy but require thick socks to stop them from slipping. I like the look of the 5 shoelace holes because they allow more variety in making the shoes tighter since my feet are pretty skinny. The longer laces also creates an illusion of shorter shoes, which in my opinion is very pretty. The sole thickness and the shininess of the shoes are very nice. The only downside is that they are pretty heavy and considering the fact that I bought the smallest size means that bigger sizes would be even heavier.
