First off let me start by saying this is an awesome little game. Despite being skeptical of the art style at first, you get used to it pretty quickly and it looks really good. The girls look great, the renders look great and the animations also look great but there aren’t many. You can repeat them as much as you like but they are quite limited in number. Each girl has like 3 or 4 that you see from exactly one angle and that’s that.

Let’s get to the bad parts that really got on my nerves. The grind is REAL, I’ve never played any game ever, where I had to grind as much as in this game. Then there’s this constant “wait 3 days” crap and while you can skip time hour by hour, it becomes annoying. If there were side missions or something with which you could occupy your time, I wouldn’t mind but there’s not. What am I supposed to do while I’m “waiting”? Yes I know, corrupt the girls. I’ve already reached the limit on that for most of them, at least for the time being. How far you can take them depends on the story, which you are “waiting” on, or clicking some skip feature to skip a few days one hour at a time.

I’m in the Voron system now, there are no missions, just waiting for everything. I had to wait 2 days when I got to the system before I could do anything, waiting on them to “notice my presence”. Then I waited on the MK3 weapons that were supposed to be sold to me until I got tired of skipping days hoping they would appear on the market. Then I made a deal with some people and waited another 3 days. Afterwards I returned to the girl who told me about the MK3 weapons that never appeared on the market, and she needs another 2 days to analyze the data. What the actual fuck? Like most games, lots of potential but needs a lot of work, the dev is off his rocker.

BTW, the adult content’s focused upon corruption, submission, exhibition, and harem.

This is a full on game, with rewarding adult content to work towards. There’s quite a lot of content, and more and more things become available as you progress. It has its own look and unique models, which are all done really well and are a refreshing change. Each aspect of the game is well-thought-out and a lot of care and work has been put into it. Combat, for example, is tactical and engaging, and there’s a smooth progression of missions and objectives throughout as you seek your wealth, power and more women. I’ve been playing it for days and am probably just 3/4ths through, if I were to guess. So at V1.0 there’s A LOT of content. It feels polished. Good dialog, characters all with their own personality and quirks.

Those looking to get off will probably be frustrated. Those looking primarily more for fun and a good game will get sucked into it. Enjoy.

You’ve sold me on it, it’s nice to find a decent indie game every once in a while.

Long story, first error i saw was when i try to loot a krell lasher, second time the same, both times ignored and go further, but when i opened the ???? in the cargo bay the errors keep coming and ignore didn't help anymore. Good luck with solving this, because i know i can't. Maybe you can find something in the save i started from.

The ???? is the terminal in the cargobay, could't find the englisch word for it . first save is when i loot and use the scrollweel, second when i open the bot containers . succes

I uploaded a minor fix to 860_missions.rpy Essentially, the available item counts on the mission selection screen weren't always displaying correctly due to the location not being referenced properly. Not sure how this seemed to be working as intended before, but fix is in the attached file in the OP (Version 1.01). I also changed the thread title to reflect that this is still in 'Beta' status, as there's a few glitches still... you should be able to hit 'ignore' a few times to get past the errors that may show up, but I'm looking into it...  

So, a couple of quick notes. 1) Bot pods in the Multiverse pods aren't extracting properly. So I'd suggest FOR NOW that you visit the Multiverse Pod and then save your progress before installing this mod. Once the bots are in your Bot Lab, there shouldn't be any issues. Maybe the cargo hold too, but I haven't tested that yet. I need to study the Multiverse pod extraction code to see if I can put some sort of check in there for the missing variable & slot... 2) I'm currently playing around with the discipline routines, adjusting the combos so that both Nimhe and Khelara can do the 2/3 combo like Nimhe can. Just need to test a couple of things, and then this should be good to go. I'll edit the combos.png so that people will be able to reference it (if they want)in reference to the adjusted combos. I set up the combos so that Nimhe and Khelara are 'right at the edge' stress wise for the last action, and of course only the right last choice (and previous choices) will allow the double combo to work... --- Arheme Just curious. The error you reported in the Space Journey game thread, were you using my mod at the time? The files referenced in the traceback I haven't touched, but I'd like to know regardless. If my mod WAS installed when the error popped up, if you could share your save? --- I'm currently looking to see if I can add a new column to the mission screen that shows what is currently stored in your warehouse (if anything). This is something that I thought of as I was stuffing stuff in the warehouse in my current game (playtest) session. BTW, my intention IS to update this mod to SJ 1.1 once the public version is released. It may take me a few days though... I've also shared some 'changes made' reports using WinMerge with yv0751 , should any of the stuff I'm messing with atm be of interest to him. I'm hoping that he likes the interface tweaks in particular, as well as my 'suggestions' r.e. bot upgrades and the routine I set up to allow Nimhe to study and then build other shell types.

I just uploaded v1.03 of this mod. The most significant changes are detailed in my previous 3 posts, to the Bot Configuration & Training screen, the Mission Selection screen, and the Warehouse inventory screen. In case you were looking for something to play around with while we all wait for Space Journey 1.1 to drop. As noted before, I suggest visiting the multiverse pod ingame in 1.00b before installing this mod, to make sure that any bots stored in the multiverse pod extract properly. Then save your game at that point, quit and install this mod, then load up that save when you start again.

ah looks like its because its an older save  

I DO recommend that you visit the multiverse pod before installing my mod. If you have a 'vanilla' install or can make a vanilla install (i.e. extract SJ 1.00b again into a different folder) and visit the multiverse pod, save, and then access that save using the 'modified' install (said saves should just show up on both ends), that'll avoid a 'bots not extracting from multiverse pod so they just disappear' issue that I haven't tried to tackle yet.  

OK, so with help from Arheme I was able to figure out a couple of other issues, so a new version (V1.04) is attached to the OP. This SHOULD allow people to extract bots from bot containers from multiverse pods AFTER installing my mod, and fix a couple of other bot container/bot storage related issues. Thanks Arheme for the help! As I mentioned, V1.04a version attached to OP! Edit: V 1.04 replaced with 1.04A. Only change between 1.04 and 1.04A are in 420_night_passes.rpy - fixed an issue with jobs.

Get ready to stand against the darkness in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor !

The critically acclaimed action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment – in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games – is coming to the Play List on April 25, 2024, for all EA Play members. PC Game Pass and Ultimate Game Pass members can start their adventures this week as a part of their membership to experience the next chapter in Cal Kestis’ saga.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has earned top accolades and awards – including IGN’s Best Action Game of 2023, PC Gamer’s Best Adventure Game of 2023, and a Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media.

The game follows Cal Kestis as he explores an untamed galaxy while carrying its hopes for the future on his shoulders. Members can look forward to discovering new planets and revisiting familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy, each with unique biomes, challenges, and enemies. All the while, they’ll be mastering new skills, equipment, and abilities as they traverse the grandiose landscapes.

Rare reveals a new building with sustainable design at its heart on Earth Day 2024

Commissioning a state-of-the-art new game development space in 2020, when the future of work seemed totally unpredictable, was a bold move. But it’s a move that’s paid off for the Xbox Game Studio, Rare , which is marking Earth Day 2024 by fully unveiling the new building for the first time.   

Barn X, built on Rare’s existing Leicestershire campus, exemplifies the leading edge of eco design. It has just been certified LEED GOLD , a world-recognised symbol in sustainable building.  

Above all else, the 1,200 metre-squared space has been designed to be inspiring, comfortable and adaptable for its team members, who have been settling into the building over the past year.   

“We asked ourselves, ‘What might the gaming studio of the future look like?’” explains Craig Duncan, studio head at Rare. The result is a close collaboration between Rare, the Microsoft real estate team, London architecture firm LOM and Dublin-based sustainability design advisors RKD .   

  An innovative build with true green credentials   

Starting with a blank slate, the team was able to create a forward-thinking building with sustainability at its heart.   

Barn X runs purely on electricity and is Xbox’s first mass timber building in Europe. Mass timber structures lock in carbon over the decades, creating a much lower carbon footprint than materials such as concrete or steel.  

The inner timber structure for Barn X was locally sourced, but the exterior cladding timber is New Zealand Accoya. While this comes with more airmiles, the Accoya will last for 60 years without the need for varnish or paint finishing coat. “Whereas if you source locally, a softer wood such as birch or larch, it will need a sealer because it’s a softer material,” explains Sean Hogan, Director of Sustainability and Research at RKD. “And It will probably need switching out within 15 years, too, potentially three times over the service life of the building.”  

  Barn X features a range of sustainable solutions, most notably there are 750 square metres of solar panels in a nearby field, offsetting some of the studio’s energy consumption.   

  The barn uses condensate water from chillers to help flush its toilets, saving on water usage and repurposing water which otherwise would have gone to waste. Its pitched roof also houses advanced cooling and ventilation services.   

  The studio has also been designed to give the facilities team the data, functionality and capability it needs to continually optimise the barn’s energy usage. “It’s not a building that’s sitting still in terms of its energy performance,” says Hogan. “It has the ability to improve over time’.”  

Celebrating nature and nodding to history    

The Rare campus is set in 100 acres of rolling Midlands countryside, near the village of Twycross. Its grounds are covered in swathes of wildflower meadow and there are even beehives, providing Rare-branded honey which staff can buy at reception. Barn X has been designed to bring the outside in, with plenty of foliage, vertical gardens and big windows to help employees enjoy all that inspiring nature.   

“We wanted to make sure you can see the outside from wherever you are in the building,” says Duncan. “There are paths that weave outside the building and paths that take you out to the solar farm. All those things I think add to wellbeing.”   

There are also nods – in its barn-style structure and timber-cladded frontage – to the history of the campus and the heritage of the local area.   

“The brief was to be respectful to the existing buildings and that architecture,” says Hogan. “To give Barn X drama, but also to give it its place on the site.”  

A building for people, as well as the planet   

Every aspect of Barn X has been designed with the wellbeing of its team, as well as the planet, in mind. Its spacious layout, with plenty of ventilation and natural light, features sit-stand desks so every employee can choose the most comfortable way to work.   

Every element of the building aims to help foster creativity and collaboration. “G ames design is that magical mix of technology, creativity, teamwork and artwork,” says Duncan. “So all of those things informed how we designed the space. We needed lots of room where teams can work together closely, but we also need quiet spaces and places with sound deadening. The building feels energising, creative and refreshing. It has a really nice vibe.”   

It was also a priority from the start to create a building that accommodates for neurodiversity as much as possible. All staff can adjust their desk lighting exactly as they like it, and there are spaces for them to find pockets of calm or privacy. The decor has been deliberately pitched to be calming, not overwhelming, but still to provide stimulation.   

Supporting Microsoft’s goal to be carbon negative by 2030  

Barn X embodies Microsoft’s wider commitment to being carbon negative, water positive and zero waste by 2030.   

“It’s something our team really cares about,” says Duncan. “It’s important for them to work in an e nvironment that has sustainability at its core, and to know that they work for a company on a sustainability journey.”
