Memorial Stadium at Clemson University, better known as Death Valley, will host a unique event on Dec. 7, 2023, when Stadium Golf Tour brings the most singular golf experience in the world to Clemson.

Guests will enjoy a  nine-hole course with tee boxes placed throughout the stadium. Guests will hit their balls directly onto Frank Howard Field. Each hole will highlight one-of-a-kind stadium experiences that Tigers fans have never had.

Tickets for the Stadium Golf Tour event at Clemson are on sale today, and can be purchased at StadiumGolfTour.com . While entry for the event is timed, guests can stay to enjoy the experience for as long as they want. The course itself traditionally takes two to three hours to complete. General admission for Stadium Golf Tour, which includes 18 balls, starts at $65. VIP packages, which include additional balls, a swag bag as well as food and beverage items from the clubhouse, start at $100.

The Stadium Golf Tour experience, is for people of all ages and skill sets. In addition to exploring the stadium to complete the nine-hole course, guests can brush up on the basics with contests and simulators for chipping and putting, as well as tracking the longest drive and closest to the pin. Those experiences can be purchased for an additional fee onsite.

While guests enjoy Stadium Golf, one must-do is a visit to the Clubhouse. The perfect place for a 19 th hole – or in this case a 10 th hole – the Clubhouse offers participants a curated selection of food, drinks and activities.

Stadium Golf Tour is delighted to announce that it will be bringing the unique ‘Golf meets Stadium’ concept to the amazing London Stadium in October. Stadium Golf Tour has been created to allow golfers the chance to play in some of the most iconic stadia in the world. 

From 12-15 October London Stadium will be transformed into a 9-hole golf course, with nine tee boxes situated on specially constructed platforms situated around the stadium bowl. Golfers will then hit shots onto the related green situated on the pitch, with a self-scoring system from Eagle to Double Bogie, depending on how close to the hole they get.

The format allows each golfer to witness the atmosphere of the stadium, while taking part in engaging and competitive golf for groups of up to eight at a time. In addition to the 9-hole course, golfers will also receive access to “The Clubhouse”. The Clubhouse is the hub of Stadium Golf Tour and includes two state-of-the-art simulators, with a long drive and nearest the pin challenge, a chipping zone, and a long putt challenge. The Clubhouse at the London Stadium will be housed in The Boleyn, their homage to the high charm pubs of Upton Park. As well as the golf challenges, golfers will be able to enjoy a great selection of clubhouse classics and drinks.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Have you ever thought about playing some golf in Tiger Stadium? A unique experience is coming for you March 16-19.

Officials are gearing up for the Stadium Golf Tour, where you can play nine holes of par 3 golf in Death Valley, have access to golf simulators, plus a putting and chipping challenge, all while getting a tour of the Lawton Room and the Jeff Boss Locker Room. There are other perks as well.

Whether you know nothing about golf, or you’re a golf enthusiast, the event is for all skill levels. You can bring your family, college friends, or a date.

Golfers will have 18 golf balls with the option to purchase a VIP package including additional balls, access to simulators, food, and drinks. Participants must book in an even number of groups and only eight golfers total can book per time.

According to LSU’s website , all of the time slots to play on Thursday, March 16 have sold out.

Stadium Golf Tour , a new golf entertainment format that transforms sport stadia into 9-hole ‘golf courses’, has unveiled a schedule of four further UK venues on top of the previously announced even t at Twickenham Stadium in South West London from June 8-11.

In addition to staging an event at the home of England Rugby, the unique format is also teeing off at Sheffield United’s Hillsborough stadium from May 25-28; Leicester City’s King Power stadium from June 1-4; Crystal Palace FC’s Selhurst Park stadium from June 15-18; and West Ham’s London Stadium from October 12-15,

At Selhurst Park, the experience offers players the chance to enjoy a golf challenge which sees them teeing off from all four stands of the stadium aiming for the greens on the hallowed turf. Each hole will be uniquely designed, with players striking balls from the Main stand, followed by tee-offs from the Holmesdale Road and Arthur Wait Stand before ending from the Whitehorse Lane Stand.  

The courses, designed for all skill levels, should take about 90 minutes to complete, and feature its own innovative self-scoring system ranging from eagle to triple bogey, depending on how close your ball lands to the hole. There are cups for each hole, so a hole-in-one is possible.

Players can then head for the ‘Clubhouse’, where more driving, putting, and chipping challenges are on offer. Hospitality and refreshments will also be available for guests.

Teoscar Hernández hits 2-run double in 11th, lifts Dodgers over Yankees 2-1

NEW YORK (AP) Teoscar Hernández broke up a scoreless game with a two-run double in the 11th inning, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Yankees 2-1 Friday night to stop New York’s season-best eight-game winning streak.

In a matchup viewed as a possible World Series preview, Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched seven scoreless innings of three-hit ball in his Yankee Stadium debut. Anthony Banda, Blake Treinen, Daniel Hudson, Michael Grove (4-2) and Yohan Ramírez finished a five-hitter for the Dodgers.

Ramírez, pitching for his third big league team this season, got his first save in two years after allowing a one-out RBI single to Aaron Judge. Ramírez threw a called third strike past Giancarlo Stanton and retired Anthony Rizzo on a foul pop, dropping New York to 1-4 in extra innings this year.

Juan Soto, bothered by a sore left forearm, missed his first game of the season for the Yankees though he appeared ready to pinch hit in the late innings.

Shohei Ohtani went 0 for 5 and was repeatedly booed. Battling back and hamstring issues, Ohtani is hitting .195 with three homers and 10 RBIs since May 16, dropping his season average from .364 to .312.

On a night plate umpire Todd Tichenor frustrated both teams with a tight strike zone, the game was scoreless into the 11th.

Ian Hamilton (0-1), the sixth Yankees pitcher, retired Ohtani on an inning-ending grounder with two on in the 10th. With Ohtani on second as the automatic runner in the 11th, Hamilton walked Freddie Freeman and retired Will Smith on a flyout before Hernández drove an 0-2 slider to the left-center gap.

Hernández also made leaping catch against the left-field wall on Volpe leading off first.

Los Angeles hadn’t played in the Bronx since 2016.

“Hopefully we get to do this again sometime in late October,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “It has to and it should feel different when you come into this ballpark and you play this franchise. When you’re playing for the Dodgers and playing for the Yankees, it better feel different. You’d good. If not, you better do something different for a profession.”

A season-high crowd of 48,048 filled Yankee Stadium, New York’s fourth sellout this year.

“This is one of those series in the regular season that is going to that have that extra juice,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said.

A heralded 25-year-old right-hander, Yamamoto spurned the Yankees during the offseason to sign a $325 million, 12-year contract with the Dodgers. He allowed two hits and two walks innings with seven strikeouts, throwing a season-high 106 pitches. He threw 20 pitches faster than 97.2 mph, which had been his top in his first dozen starts, reaching a maximum 98.4 mph.

He struck out Jose Trevino to strand runners at the corners in the second, starting a streak of 12 straight outs before a two-out walk to Judge in the sixth. Yamamoto then fanned Stanton on a fastball at the top of the strike zone.

Also making his Yankee Stadium debut, New York’s Cody Poteet allowed two hits and three walks in 4 2/3 scoreless innings.

New York loaded the bases in the eighth when Judge worked a 10-pitch walk against Treinen, who retired Stanton on a flyout.

TRAINER’S ROOM

Dodgers: LHP Clayton Kershaw (shoulder surgery last Nov. 3) pitched two innings in a simulated game on Friday at Rancho Cucamonga and touched 90 mph, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. The 36-year-old, a three-time Cy Young Award winner, will throw a three-inning simulated game in five or six days. ... RHP Bobby Miller (right shoulder inflammation) was to make his third minor league rehab start Friday, for Oklahoma City, and could return to the big league team next week. ... 3B Max Muncy (strained right oblique that has sidelined him since May 15) is taking swings without a ball. “It’s still a slow program,” Roberts said.

Yankees: RHP Gerrit Cole (right elbow nerve inflammation) is to make a second rehab start for Double-A Somerset on Sunday.

LHP Nestor Cortes (3-4, 3.46 ERA) starts Saturday night for the Yankees and RHP Gavin Stone (6-2, 2.90) for the Dodgers. Cortes is 3-1 with a 1.12 ERA at home and 0-3 with a 6.17 ERA on the road.

Arrive and check in

We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes in advance of your tee time. We will notify all registered players via email the week of the event with parking and arrival instructions (these details will also be posted on the event page on our website).

Enter the designated entrance to the stadium and check-in upon your arrival. Signage will direct you to the Clubhouse where you will be free to relax, order some drinks, and enjoy the festivities while you await to be escorted to the first tee.

Play nine holes throughout the stadium

We convert each iconic stadium into a one-of-a-kind golf venue with a unique scoring format that is different than traditional golf. Test your ball striking skills at nine locations throughout the stadium with your score at each determined by the accuracy of your tee shot.

Bring your own clubs or use ours along the way

One set of standard, right-handed irons will be made available at each tee box for complimentary use. If you prefer to use your own or are left-handed, feel free to bring your own clubs.

Distances generally range from 50 to 170 yards (unadjusted for elevation). If you are planning on participating in the Chipping or Putting Challenges, feel free to bring your own putter or wedge. We will have at least one lefty and one righty wedge and putter available for complimentary use.

Total yardage will be posted at each tee box, which will include yardage that is adjusted for elevation.

All standard players will receive 18 total golf balls to be played along the nine hole course. With nine separate tee box locations, you will have the opportunity to play two complimentary shots per hole.

THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass

From the initial idea by former PGA TOUR Commissioner Deane R. Beman, THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass was built in 1980 to be the permanent home of THE PLAYERS Championship. As the first true Stadium Course, it was designed to improve the overall on-site fan experience.

Working with renowned golf course architect Pete Dye, Commissioner Deane Beman created a course design that favored no particular style of play, resulting in a truly balanced layout. The signature island green on the par-3, 17th hole is one of the most recognized in golf and the course is consistently named among the best in the world.

ARRIVAL TIME

Please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your tee time and check-in the Clubhouse (we encourage you to come early and stay after to take advantage of the great times in our clubhouse area).

CLUBHOUSE SPORTS BAR AND FESTIVAL AREA

Before and after your round, enjoy great music while watching games with cold drinks, food and multiple golfing challenges on custom simulators at the clubhouse sports bar and festival area!

Cleveland Golf is the exclusive equipment partner of Upper Deck Golf. Come play the brand new Cleveland Zipcore Irons and RTX Wedges. Players are allowed to bring their own clubs (SW thru 8 Iron only), but we encourage all players to come try out the latest and greatest from Cleveland Golf!

All Players will receive Srixon SOFT FEEL golf balls to play on course. The new  Srixon  SOFT FEEL golf balls provide the accuracy and responsiveness to stick it close to the pin. We also offer Mulligans for additional purchase, as well as being included in the VIP Package.

HOLE DISTANCES

Each Hole will range from 75 yards to 150 yards (adjusted slope distances will be provided at each hole).

DRIVING CHALLENGE
