WATCH: The Ultimate Fleet Command

Star Trek Fleet Command , a new multiplayer real-time strategy and role-play game that brings an entire galaxy of characters and ships to life for the ultimate Star Trek gaming experience, will launch worldwide on November 29 as a free download on the App Store and Google Play . The game, from interactive entertainment company and mobile games publisher Scopely, and CBS Interactive, centers on the Trek universe as presented in the 2009, 2013 and 2016 feature films.

Star Trek Fleet Command represents the first free-roaming multiplayer Star Trek experience to combine role-playing game style progression and real-time battles with enemy ships, all on mobile devices. A fast-paced strategy experience, the game brings players unparalleled access to the Star Trek universe along with an epic narrative that unfolds as they travel to the furthest corners of the galaxy.

Players in Star Trek Fleet Command can customize their gameplay experience as narrative paths branch and diverge depending on which of the hundreds of available missions they choose to complete and how they approach interactions with other deep-space denizens. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and build dream teams made up of their favorite characters, among them Captain Kirk, Spock and Uhura, and factions such as the Federation, Klingons and Romulans to fight alongside and determine their place in the cosmos. With each faction offering unique officers, ships and technologies to progress and utilize as strategic assets, the level of personalization offered in Star Trek Fleet Command is about as limitless as the universe.

How to Access the Star Trek: Fleet Command Web Store

Star Trek: Fleet Command has a rather unique in-app store. Not only can you purchase items through the in-game store with real currency, but you can actually access the same store from your favorite web browser. Today, we’ll show you how to access the Star Trek: Fleet Command web store!

Accessing the Star Trek: Fleet Command Web Store From a Browser

Like most mobile games, Star Trek: Fleet Command is free-to-play, with optional in-app purchases. You can buy in-game resources and currency using real world money if you so wish, and you can get to the store by tapping the button in the top right corner of the main game screen.

If you’re not able to open the game at the moment, or you’re in an environment where playing the game isn’t feasible, you can also access the in-game store from your browser. Simply head on over to the Star Trek: Fleet Command web store .

Before you can access the web store, you’ll need to link your game account to a ScopelyID . By default, the game doesn’t do this on its own, and it will instead link your account to your respective device’s game account, which are Game Center for iOS, and Google Play Games for Android.

Account linking is currently only possible within the game itself , so open the game, and tap on your profile icon in the top left corner. Tap on settings, then tap on general, and you should see a button to create or link a ScopelyID account. Follow the instructions to log in or create a new account, and your account will automatically be linked to your ScopelyID.

Once your game account is linked to your ScopelyID, go to the web store and then login with your ScopelyID account. All your items and purchases will now be synced, so you can use the store from any browser you log into.

In addition to being able to use the store, you can also claim those timed chests that you can only get once enough time has passed. This is probably the best feature of the web store, as this will ensure you don’t miss out on your freebie chests.

Following a two-month delay , Homeworld 3 is ready to launch on May 13, but you can play the game three days early with its epic Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition has been available to pre-order for some time, and we recently got a detailed look at the minis and other items featured in its $174.99 release, which you can currently pre-order from Amazon , Target , and GameStop .

Much like the Collector’s Edition produced for Homeworld Remastered , the Homeworld 3 Collector’s Edition comes packaged with a detailed replica of the game’s Mothership, complete with LED lighting accents. While the Mothership’s default position is lying flat, fans of the original Homeworld will be relieved to know that the model can also be rotated to its classic “space-banana” orientation.

In addition to a model of the Mothership, you’ll also find scale model replicas of Homeworld 3 ’s Hiigaran Destroyer and Torpedo Frigate, which fit neatly inside the Mothership’s docking bay (see photo lower down on this page). You’ll also find an enlarged three-ship squadron of recon fighters in delta formation.

The Collector’s Edition also includes a spotter deck, a 52-card deck of playing cards featuring silhouettes of the ships featured in the game, a small lithograph, and a keychain modeled after the Homeworld 3 logo.

In addition to its exclusive collectibles, the Collector’s Edition includes all of the digital bonuses featured in the $89.99 Fleet Command Edition of Homeworld 3 . These include access to the first year of post-release content, a digital soundtrack, in-game cosmetic items, and early access to the game. The digital-exclusive Fleet Command Edition is currently available to pre-order from Steam and the Epic Games Store .
