I was introduced to Grant by a family…

I was introduced to Grant by a family member. Having been frustrated in trying to arrange a holiday for ourselves and friends, I explained to Grant what we were looking for. To our amazement, he came back later that afternoon with four simply wonderful proposals. Following some fine tuning, we booked the holiday the next day. The whole process was so stress free, and the extra touches he added were fantastic. Grant clearly is a very exceptional and experienced travel consultant, and l can confirm he has a client for life.

Nikki organised a fantastic four day trip to Naples for us, to see the archeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum as well as soak up an aperol spritz or two. The tours she booked were absolutely brilliant, the hotel was lovely and the logistics were seamless. Highly recommend!

Just booked a trip with Grant after…

Just booked a trip with Grant after being recommended through family for how brilliant he is. Within an hour he had priced up multiple holidays for me, taking into consideration my requests and budget. We’ve now booked the trip, and it was the most easy and stress free experience ever. Will definitely be booking with Grant again. Highly recommend !!!!

An excellent holiday, hassle free

We had an excellent holiday all booked and handled expertly by Pippa Wilson. Even when one of our flights was cancelled, another flight was organised very quickly and it caused me no issues at all. Made the experience of going on holiday a lot less stressful knowing you had support if it was required for any changes such as this. Would highly recommend.

A trip to South Africa! Organised by Jen

Back from our recent trip to South Africa. Jen planned the whole trip to perfection. We could not fault it, the accomodation was out of this world and our safari was the most incredible experience. Everything was simply amazing and a trip we will never forget. We cannot thank Jen enough. Anytime we are planning a trip Jen is the first person we reach out to. She is so professional and really takes on board what type of holiday you are looking for. I would highly recommend Jen for anyone who is planning a trip soon.

Jayne Lomax was fabulous

Alex's went over and above!

Our flight got cancelled which was quite upsetting, however when we went to the emirates desk. We were told that Travel counsellors secured us 2 seats to fly out the following morning. Also i contacted Alex's our travel consultant to see if he could reach out to the hotel in Dubai and the driver who were expecting us, to let them know about our delay. That took a lot of pressure away from us. Once we got to Dubai everything was straight forward and completely stress free. We loved the location! The hotel was great and Alex's also recommended some restaurants for us to try, which were perfect! I am definitely going to contact Alex's to help arrange my future holidays/travel.

Boys trip to Vegas

Gill and Ange arranged a recent trip that my Husband and Sons went on to Vegas. Their expertise was priceless. They thought of everything, priced up everything, and booked everything for us. The trip was a once in a lifetime event, and far exceeded their expectations. Gill and Ange put together a full itinerary of excursions and recommended a list of things that they should see. Their week was action packed and planned to perfection. They can honestly say that they have fully experienced Vegas and have memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Gill and Ange. I would not hesitate to recommend your service, and hope to use you again in the future.

Claire Jackson - Holiday magician

This is the third holiday that Claire arranged for us. The itinerary was perfect for a teen who wanted to eat street food in Bangkok, a mum who wanted to hike & hang out with elephants and a dad who wanted the beach. I could rave about every aspect of the trip, but will stick to the highlights, which were where Claire jumped in & with zero notice arranged a change in hotel when an autistic family member decided that a tent with no a/c was an absolute impossibility. That help was gold dust. The review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the Sarojin in the South of Thailand, which Claire found for us. It is without doubt the new all time favourite hotel for our family and we will be going back as soon as possible, with Claire's help. Glorious setting, no kids under 10, the loveliest staff, amazing spa, best Thai food ever, gorgeous rooms and a range of brilliant experiences to choose from.

Great Service with the personal touch

Travel counsellor Jane Sheffield came highly recommended to us. She sourced exactly what we asked for. Quote was slightly higher than other places had provided but am glad that we booked through Jane. She handled everything, kept in touch throughout, and made us feel confident that everything had been taken care of. Loved personal touch of delivering our travel documents by hand with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate with. She checked in with us whilst we were on our holiday to make sure everything was ok. We had a great time and I will most definitely ask Jane to help plan any future trips...I know we will be in safe hands. Thank you Jane Sheffield...you are a star X

Three nights in Nantes could not have been better

I thought that my journey to Nantes in France would be a nightmare with changing stations in Paris but it was simply perfect.I had time to make connections and even managed a meal in Paris on the way home. Claire Spicer supplied all the documents I needed and even managed to arrange a seat with more like minded souls even though I booked much later! My accommodation was very nice indeed and in an ideal position for exploring on foot. Will be using Claire Spicer at Travel Consultants again!

I had a great experience working with Amelia Snare on my recent holiday to Malaysia. Initially she gave me options across 3 destinations and I chose Malaysia as it was on my bucket list. Amelia mapped out a 9 day itinerary which was ideal and so it was super easy to book. During the holiday I can honestly say I didn't encounter one single issue. Everything was just easy and simple. The TC App has everything you need and it's so well laid out. I've already booked another trip to Singapore and South Korea. I can't wait!

Perfect Pintxos in San Sebastián

I’ve used Travel Counsellors since 2005 and would genuinely say that I wouldn’t book with any other agent. Nor would I book it myself on the internet. Sharron Whetherly gave a superb service and put together a bespoke package all wrapped up with an ATOL guarantee. She booked flights, transfers, accommodation and local experiences and, with us being ‘old school’ she personally delivered our travel pack with itinerary and vouchers for everything in chronological order. She’d checked us in to our flight, printed our boarding passes and even filled out our luggage tags! This really is a personal service that can’t be beaten. - Highly Recommended

Visa-free travel to Russia

Several countries now have bilateral agreements in place with the Russian Federation to allow visa-free travel to Russia for their citizens. Unfortunately, however, there is no indication that similar agreements will be reached with the EU, the US, or the UK any time soon.

If you are not a citizen of one of the countries below and do not hold a diplomatic passport, the only other way to visit the Russian Federation without a visa is on a cruise ship to St. Petersburg. This exemption allows you to stay in the city for up to 72 hours without a visa on the condition that you are sleeping on the ship and are accompanied at all times by a licensed tour guide. If your cruise calls in St. Petersburg for 48 or 72 hours, there are companies offering shore tours which include a day in Moscow.

The same visa-free regime is applied to passengers on ferries from Helsinki and Tallinn operated by the company St. Peter Line, although in the case of ferry passengers you need to book your own accommodation. Again, it is possible within the 72 hours to visit Moscow as well. You can find out more about visa-free tours to Moscow and St. Petersburg here .

Nationalities which can travel to Russia without visas are divided into four groups with different requirements and different limitations on length of stay for each group. Even if you do not need a visa to enter Russia, you will certainly need a passport valid for at least six months after the date of your proposed exit from Russia, and you may require other official documents. You will also, like all foreign travelers in Russia, still need to register with the Federal Migration Service upon arrival.

Citizens of the countries of the CIS (the Commonwealth of Independent States) are permitted to stay in the Russian Federation for up to 90 days without a visa.

Citizens of these countries are allowed to stay in the Russian Federation without a visa for up to 90 days in each 180-day period, provided they will not be involved in any commercial or work-related activities during their stay.

Citizens of the countries in this group can stay in the Russian Federation for up to 30 days without a visa. They are not entitled to work while in Russia.

Citizens of these Balkan countries can also stay in Russia without a visa for up to 30 days, but must also show tourist documents (tourist confirmation and tourist voucher) or an official invitation to immigration officials.

I was introduced to Grant by a family…

I was introduced to Grant by a family member. Having been frustrated in trying to arrange a holiday for ourselves and friends, I explained to Grant what we were looking for. We booked our dream holiday with lisa…

Nikki organised a fantastic four day trip to Naples for us, to see the archeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum as well as soak up an aperol spritz or two. The tours she booked were absolutely brilliant, the hotel was lovely and the logistics were seamless. Highly recommend!

Just booked a trip with Grant after…

Just booked a trip with Grant after being recommended through family for how brilliant he is. Within an hour he had priced up multiple holidays for me, taking into consideration my requests and budget. We’ve now booked the trip, and it was the most easy and stress free experience ever. An excellent holiday, hassle free

We had an excellent holiday all booked and handled expertly by Pippa Wilson. Even when one of our flights was cancelled, another flight was organised very quickly and it caused me no issues at all. Made the experience of going on holiday a lot less stressful knowing you had support if it was required for any changes such as this. Would highly recommend.

A trip to South Africa! Organised by Jen

Back from our recent trip to South Africa. Jen planned the whole trip to perfection. We could not fault it, the accomodation was out of this world and our safari was the most incredible experience. Everything was simply amazing and a trip we will never forget. We cannot thank Jen enough. Anytime we are planning a trip Jen is the first person we reach out to. Alex's went over and above!

Our flight got cancelled which was quite upsetting, however when we went to the emirates desk. We were told that Travel counsellors secured us 2 seats to fly out the following morning. Also i contacted Alex's our travel consultant to see if he could reach out to the hotel in Dubai and the driver who were expecting us, to let them know about our delay. That took a lot of pressure away from us. Once we got to Dubai everything was straight forward and completely stress free. We loved the location! The hotel was great and Alex's also recommended some restaurants for us to try, which were perfect! I am definitely going to contact Alex's to help arrange my future holidays/travel.

Boys trip to Vegas

Gill and Ange arranged a recent trip that my Husband and Sons went on to Vegas. Their expertise was priceless. They thought of everything, priced up everything, and booked everything for us. Claire Jackson - Holiday magician

This is the third holiday that Claire arranged for us. The itinerary was perfect for a teen who wanted to eat street food in Bangkok, a mum who wanted to hike & hang out with elephants and a dad who wanted the beach. I could rave about every aspect of the trip, but will stick to the highlights, which were where Claire jumped in & with zero notice arranged a change in hotel when an autistic family member decided that a tent with no a/c was an absolute impossibility. That help was gold dust. The review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the Sarojin in the South of Thailand, which Claire found for us. It is without doubt the new all time favourite hotel for our family and we will be going back as soon as possible, with Claire's help. Glorious setting, no kids under 10, the loveliest staff, amazing spa, best Thai food ever, gorgeous rooms and a range of brilliant experiences to choose from.

Great Service with the personal touch

Travel counsellor Jane Sheffield came highly recommended to us. She sourced exactly what we asked for. Quote was slightly higher than other places had provided but am glad that we booked through Jane. She handled everything, kept in touch throughout, and made us feel confident that everything had been taken care of. Loved personal touch of delivering our travel documents by hand with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate with. She checked in with us whilst we were on our holiday to make sure everything was ok. Three nights in Nantes could not have been better

I thought that my journey to Nantes in France would be a nightmare with changing stations in Paris but it was simply perfect.I had time to make connections and even managed a meal in Paris on the way home. Claire Spicer supplied all the documents I needed and even managed to arrange a seat with more like minded souls even though I booked much later! My accommodation was very nice indeed and in an ideal position for exploring on foot. Will be using Claire Spicer at Travel Consultants again!

I had a great experience working with Amelia Snare on my recent holiday to Malaysia. Initially she gave me options across 3 destinations and I chose Malaysia as it was on my bucket list.
