This is old, ex royal capital of Montenegro that functioned as a capital of the Kingdom of Montenegro before WWI. Museums, monastery, palaces, full of history... True Montenegro and different from the coastal influences by old Venice and many other powers of old time. Cetinje can be easily reached by public, long distance bus from Budva.

We enjoy hiking as well as walking around the towns and seeing the sights. The smaller towns are just as important as the big ones.

Itinerary help - Greece & Montengro. Hello. I'm planning a two week trip for June 2024. We would like to spend one week in Greece (Athens for 3 days and then Santorini or Naxos for 4 days).
