Overnight camping is not permitted outside Nationwide Arena. Fans with GA Floor tickets can begin lining up at 9AM on the NE (G1) side of the arena on the day of the show they are attending.

Twenty One Pilots announce tour stops in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Grammy-Award-winning duo Twenty One Pilots announced two shows in Columbus on Wednesday.

The band's Clancy World Tour will stop at Nationwide Arena on Oct. 4 and 5.

UPDATE: The Band has added a third show at Nationwide on Oct. 6.

Ohio natives Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun make up the group and will head out on their largest headline tour ever, according to Live Nation.

The tour is a celebration of the bands seventh album 'Clancy,' which will be released on May 17. The date marks the 9 year anniversary of their multi-platinum album 'Blurryface.'

The group has over 33 billion streams worldwide including hits such as 'Stressed Out' and 'Ride'.

Tickets go on sale April 5 at 10 a.m. here .

Columbus is featured in Twenty One Pilots' new music videos

Columbus has left its mark on the music scene.

Central Ohio's skyscrapers, shopping malls and barns were the backdrop for a series of new music videos by alternative rock duo Twenty One Pilots .

The band is comprised of singer Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, who are both Columbus natives. Their new album, "Clancy," released Friday, along with 11 new music videos to go with each track.

Here's every Columbus locale the Dispatch spotted in their new videos.

'At the Risk of Feeling Dumb'

Most of the music video for the catchy "At the Risk of Feeling Dumb" takes place in an open field, but it transitions to the band playing on top of the Hexion building Downtown near the end.

The Hexion building, located at 180 E. Broad St., is just a short walk from the Ohio Statehouse and a number of the city's skyscrapers.

Also, the lyrics for "At the Risk of Feeling Dumb" contain a reference to the city's sometimes-beloved, sometimes-hated beltway, Interstate 270.

'Overcompensate'

This music video takes place in what appears to be the Columbus Athenaeum, a wedding and concert venue located right next door to the Hexion building.

The building located at 32 N. Fourth St. was originally built as a Masonic Temple, and it's on the National Register of Historic Places.

'Backslide'

The action starts at the Centerville Market in Galena before singer Joseph hops on a bike and pedals through what looks like Columbus neighborhoods. His final destination is a house in German Village, where his bandmate, Dun, is grilling a burger.

While the music video is only a few minutes long, a real bike ride from Galena to German Village would be around 24 miles and take a little over two hours to complete.

The band's video for "Lavish" jumps around to dozens of Columbus locations as the duo visits signs echoing the song's lyrics. Here's a list of all the places we could pick out.

The original version of Clancy dropped on May 17, marking the final chapter in the  Blurryface  saga, the long-running story that began on the group’s 2015 breakthrough  Blurryface  album, and then continued on 2018’s  Trench  and 2021’s  Scaled and Icy – which peaked at No. 3 on the  Billboard 200 . Led by the singles “Overcompensate,” “Next Semester” and “Backslide,”  Clancy  also features the tracks “Midwest Indigo,” “Routines in the Night,” “Vignette,” “The Craving (Jenna’s Version),” “Lavish,” “Navigating, “Snap Back,” “Oldies Station,” “At the Risk of Feeling Dumb” and “Paladin Strait.”

The band is also hitting the road for its 59-date The Clancy World Tour in support of  Clancy . The 59-date tour kicks off Aug. 15 at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colo., before making its way around North America, with stops in Seattle, Phoenix and New York City, as well as Los Angeles, Chicago and hometown Columbus, Ohio.
