Psychetrance duo from Israel, Vini Vici, is embarking on a world tour to celebrate their tenth anniversary. The electronica icons Matan Kadosh and Aviram Saharai, from Alfula, emerged as Vini Vici in 2013 and moved on to fulfilling a phenomenal career in the EDM industry. For their stop in North America, Vini Vici will be performing a one-off date at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California! On Saturday, 4th March 2023, the prolific DJs will deliver their biggest hits and most epic remixes! Vini Vici has been a staple among indie EDM fans, and now they’re here to perform the most exhilarating electronic music concert of the year! If you’re keen on seeing this psych trance powerhouse at the Hollywood Palladium, you better score tickets now because these two performers have been known to fill stadiums around the world!

Before performing under the name Vini Vici, Aviram Sahari and Mata Kadosh spent 12 years as Sesto Sento. Back then, the EDM act operated as a trio with former member Itai Spector. After Spector’s departure, the remaining members decided to continue as Vini Vici and move on to a brand new project. In 2015, the duo released their first breakthrough, “The Tribe.” The single was spawned by their debut album, Future Classics. The record received wide critical acclaim and gained prominence as a major player in the psych trance underground scene. A few years after its release, “The Tribe” has amassed over 11 million streams on Spotify.

Three years after their phenomenal breakthrough, Vini Vici released a couple of collaborations singles with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Timmy Trumpet, and Steve Aoki. The prolific Israeli performers later scored the headlining gig at Belgium’s Tomorrowland.

In 2019, Vini Vici released a remixed version of Highlight Tribe’s hit, “Free Tibet,” The single received close to 100 million views on Youtube and became a viral hit among psych trance fans around the world. The duo caught the attention of Armin Van Buuren, resulting in a monumental collaboration. Together with Armin Van Buuren and Highlight Tribe, Vini Vici released the single “Great Spirit,” garnering one million weekly streams.

On the release front, Vini Vici devoted much of the year to producing a series of mega-sized psy-trance groovers. Their electro-bouncer ‘Drink & Shout’   with Prezioso and Shibui was big, while their ‘renegade master’ re-work with Gabry Ponte, ‘Damage’   did, well, damage, everywhere it was dropped. 2023 was all about the collaborations for Vini Vici, including ‘Distorted Reality’ with Reinier Zonneveld, ‘When We Come Alive’ with Armin van Buuren and ALBA, ‘Wild’   with Steve Aoki, and ‘The Race’ with Timmy Trumpet and Sub Zero Project, a tune with one of the biggest breakdowns of 2023.

Apesar da pouca idade, o rapaz demonstrou força, coragem e resiliência para seguir em frente, mesmo com evidentes dores das feridas que toda essa agressão gerou em sua alma. Não se calou, seguiu trabalhando, lutou e, na semana passada, disse uma frase que ficará marcada:

— Não sou vítima de racismo . Eu sou algoz de racistas.

Uma declaração que reflete a vitória obtida na Justiça espanhola, que puniu com prisão três torcedores do Valencia por insultos racistas no estádio Mestalla, no dia 21 de maio de 2023, em jogo contra o Real Madrid pelo Campeonato Espanhol.

La Liga, entidade que organiza a competição, denunciou o caso à Justiça, que contou com adesão da Federação Espanhola de Futebol, do Real Madrid e de Vini Jr. à denúncia. De acordo com La Liga, outros 20 casos de racismo contra o jogador foram denunciados. Em seis, a polícia não conseguiu identificar os agressores, enquanto outros dois envolvem menores de idade e estão com as autoridades competentes. Os demais estão em andamento.

Além da sentença de prisão, a Justiça proibiu os condenados de frequentar estádios de futebol por dois anos. A decisão é extremamente importante, não apenas para Vini Jr., mas também para o Campeonato Espanhol, para a Espanha, para o futebol e para a luta antirracista no mundo inteiro.

Note-se que nem sequer existe previsão de punição criminal para a prática de racismo naquele país. Esse é o tamanho do impacto da comoção mundial nascida deste momento. A condenação se deu por delitos contra a integridade moral do jogador, com agravante de discriminação por motivos racistas.

A virada de jogo é fruto de muita luta e persistência. É só lembrar que, em 31 de dezembro de 2022, Vini Jr. protestou em suas redes sociais contra a postura permissiva da Liga e apontou o absurdo em afirmar que a culpa de tudo era dele. Naquele mesmo dia, o presidente da organização se defendeu e o aconselhou a se informar melhor.

Felizmente, foi possível a ruptura dessa espiral tão danosa, e um recado foi dado. Observando o tamanho da dificuldade e da pressão que Vini Jr. tinha sobre si, esse passo é enorme e precisa ser comemorado.

While A State of Trance 950 is around the corner with no less than 8 weeks, on that perfect note Dutch Trance legend Armin van Buuren added 2 new stops for round number celebrations of his weekly radio show ASOT.

The announcement was made last Friday during the broadcast of episode 944 and soon after that created buzz across all the Trance communities globally with mayhem in London & Moscow 🙂

Moscow event will take place on July 04, 2020, and for London, it will be a UK Exclusive show, as of now there is no date announced for London yet but we are expecting somewhere in June – July 2020. No information on lineups for any of the events yet but we know for a fact that ASOT lineup is always one of its own kind with big Trance names around the world.
