Spend the rest of the day enjoying the action of the world's foremost tennis tournament at your leisure. No.1 Court matches generally showcase the stars of tomorrow and yesteryear in the finals of the Junior and Invitation events on the final Saturday and Sunday. On the final Friday the No.1 Court Order Of Play normally includes some of the semi-finals of the main doubles competitions (however, please be aware that all schedules are at the discretion of The Championships Referee, and could be subject to change at short notice). You can wander the grounds and outside courts at your leisure and perhaps watch some of the Centre Court action on the big screen on Henman Hill. A coach will be on hand to transfer you back to your hotel (expected to depart Wimbledon at 7pm) to begin your own journey home.

We first walked into Barrhead travel in Halifax out of interest and made an enquiry about the Galapagos Islands We knew we wanted to go but not sure how. Since first being in contact with Hannah she has looked hard at many options and kept in touch. She has eventually come up with what we want from the trip. We have been tremendously impressed with the service in its professionalism and friendliness from Hannah and the other girls in the store. Last Minute Deal

We were looking for a specific type of holiday and couldn't find it on line. Our visit to Barrhead Travel allowed us to explore more possibilities and your staff member had the patience and knowledge to find us exactly what we wanted. We didn't feel rushed and we were able to chat freely about what our specific requirements were for our chosen holiday. To be honest it was such a pleasant experience after years of only booking on line. Moving forward we will definitely be using Barrhead Travel again for our Winter break!

Travelling to the Grounds

At Wimbledon we are committed to doing our utmost to protect the environment. One way we can contribute positively is through encouraging the use of more sustainable transport when visiting The Championships. We highly recommend our guests use public transport to reach us, or active travel like walking or cycling if possible. 

Coming soon for 2024, The Championships Journey Planner is the best way to plan your trip, however you intend to travel to SW19. The planner highlights the most sustainable options for travelling to and from Wimbledon. You can create your own personalised travel plan which will alert you and recalculate your route should there be any disruption on the day you’re travelling.

As play can sometimes continue late into the evening at The Championships, please ensure to leave enough time to make any onward connections when planning your departure time and journey home.

Public Transport

Southfields Station (District Line) – 15 mins walk to the Grounds.

Wimbledon Station (District Line, South Western Railway, and London Trams) – 20 mins walk to the Grounds. Wimbledon Park Station (District Line) – 25 mins walk to the Grounds.

A dedicated Championships bus service runs from Wimbledon Station to the Grounds. - Single fare £4.00 - Return fare £6.00 Return buses leave from Car Park 1 on Somerset Road.

Please note that the 493 TfL bus service is redirected during The Championships via Bathgate Road, Queensmere Road, Parkside and High Street Wimbledon in both directions.

Bicycle parking for either personal or hire bikes is availabale in Car Parks 6 and 10 and is free of charge. Bikes left at other locations may be removed. All bicycles are left at the owner's risk.

Shared taxi services with fixed fares operate from Southfields Station (return taxis to Southfields and central London from Wimbledon Park Road – exit via Gate 1) and Wimbledon Station (return from Somerset Road rank – exit via Gate 12).

2024 sees a major change to public car parking arrangements for The Championships. Due to strictly limited availability, public car parking spaces must be pre-booked and there will be no on-day parking sales. (other than at the Park & Ride facility in Morden). Spaces can be pre-booked in either Car Park 6 (best if arriving from southern locations) or Car Park 10 (best if arriving from the north). Car parks are open from 6am until one hour after the end of play.

Reserved parking is available via the AA in advance - £40 per petrol/diesel/hybrid car or £20 for fully electric vehicles. Motorcycles - £10. Blue badge parking - £3 (admin charge).

Please note that all coach and minibus parking will be located in Car Park 1 and must be booked in advance, priced at £50 for coaches and £40 for minibuses. There will be no on-day availability, other than at the Park and Ride location in Morden Park.

If you experience issues with booking online please contact the AA on 0330 041 3677. Operational hours are between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays). If you’re calling outside of those times, please leave a message and you will be contacted as soon as possible.

Please note that a section of Church Road between Gate 1 and Gate 5 will be closed from 9am to 11.30pm during The Championships.

Please follow AA signed routes for your car park rather than sat nav guidance near Wimbledon due to event road closures and local diversions.

See our ' Championships Parking ' map and use the Journey Planner as you plan your day at Wimbledon. Watch out for any updates on the day of travel and adjust your departure time if necessary.

Park and Ride

A Championships Park & Ride service is available at Morden Park (located on the A24, postcode SM4 5QU) charged at £15 per car or minibus.

It is open from 6.30am until 11pm, with the last bus leaving the Grounds at 10pm, or at 10.40pm if there is late play on Centre Court or No.1 Court. Pre-booking is possible, but not required.

Getting to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum and Tour

The Museum can be accessed via Gate 4.

By London Underground - Southfields Station (District Line) – 15 mins walk to the Grounds. Wimbledon Station (District Line, South Western Railway, and London Trams) – 20 mins walk to the Grounds. Wimbledon Park Station (District Line) – 25 mins walk to the Grounds. All have step-free access.

By Bus – The 493 bus service links Wimbledon Station (District Line, South Western Railway, and London Trams) and Southfields Station to the Museum. The 493 service often runs as a single deck bus mostly with wheelchair access. The bus stop is called ‘Wimbledon Tennis Club and Museum’. The bus stops are immediately outside the Museum (Gate 4).

By Taxi – Drop off and pick up points outside the Museum (Gate 4).

By Car – Please use SW19 5AG to locate the Museum via sat nav. Blue badge parking becomes inaccessible from May to July because of The Championships preparations. There is no charge for parking if available. Please ensure you have photographic ID (Driving License/Passport) and a vehicle pass to obtain entry. The Entrance is at Gate 4 on Church Road.
