Super fun experience! Great music and fun bar stops. Brett and Blake were great! Made the experience super fun. Would 10/10 do this again. Perfect for bachelorette parties or birthdays.

Six of us all in our 50’s ventured on a pedal bike crawler! We had a total blast. Otis was our driver and Jamie our bartender. We lucked out and rode with another fun couple. Great outing!

Jamie and Rachel were the best guides! They made everything so fun and made the trip such a great time! If you have the option definitely choose them!

Hunter and Maggie were awesome. Had great energy and were super fun to hang out with! We had a ton of fun - we had a private bike for a friend's 40th and it was a blast!

Group of 12 friends visiting Nashville's sites & sounds. This was a great fun time and highly recommend. Not hard to peddle and lots of laughs. Steely & Ben where great hosts!

It was the BEST thing we did while visiting Nashville! I wish I could remember our driver and servers names because they were amazing! Definitely recommend!

Why people believe in us

Our tour guide Justin was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about Nashville and took us off the beaten path to share some history. We had the pleasure of riding Elvis and Reba! Both of our first times on an e-bike and we really enjoyed it. We’d highly recommend this tour.

Matt Peterson

Justin was an amazing guide. We felt super safe with him navigating the streets and offering plenty of hand signals and anticipatory information. Great way to see the city and learn. Highly recommend!

Erin Woodbury

A fun bike tour of Nashville. Justin was great. We covered a lot of ground and saw parts of the city we wouldn’t have normally. Felt very safe navigating city streets and traffic with Justin’s lead.

Tom Callahan

What a great time we had! Highly recommend Justin’s bike tour. You will see Nashville parks, charming neighborhoods, local small businesses and sights.

Justice was awesome and had good knowledge of the area. Tour meeting location was easy to get to (by car). Tour stops and sites were great and the E-bikes were a nice , fun, and easy way to see areas of Nashville that you may not get to see.

Sandra Pitts

Bikes were a great way to see all the cool neighborhoods, parks and attractions without to walking. Our tour guide/owner,  Justin was fun, easy going & knows his BBQ! We all left happy! He made it seem like he might have been having fun too!

This tour was fun, informative and relaxing. The e-bike makes it easy to navigate the hills. Austin is a wonderful guide with an easy manner and interesting stories about the history and places. We especially enjoyed Fisk Univ, Union Station and Bi-Centennial Park. Btw there is parking behind the bike shop and you don't need to bring anything. Water, helmet, etc. are provided. Participated in this as part of a bachelorette party and we all had an absolute blast! Our driver Allison and bartender Abby were amazing. Allison's enthusiasm was so contagious and the drinking games were awesome! Make sure to request Allison and Abby if you book!

Rocket party bike turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Nashville! We had So! Much! Fun! with driver Allison and sidekick Caroline. Love them and hope to do it again someday!

Did this party bike toward the end of our Nashville visit when everyone was on their last leg. I didn’t think everyone would rally but Geoff got everyone going and it might have been the best part of the weekend. This is such a fun activity to do, a Nashville must. Definitely do it!

If you’re in Nashville, and you’re looking to do something incredibly fun then this is the event for you. The time booked is an hour and a half and includes boarding, familiarizing yourself with the rules, and a 15 minute break in the middle of the ride. Our driver was Allison, and our bartender was Jenna. They were absolutely incredible and made the ride incredibly fun. If you have the opportunity I would ask for them by name. During the ride you will play several drinking games. Interact with the other riders and people on the street. Listen to great music, act a little foolish and have a great time. Your time will be enhanced if you try to participate as much as possible. Try your best to have fun because, remember, that’s why you’re there. We booked to ride with people we never met and at the end of the trip made great friends. We would do this again in a heartbeat. It was well worth what we paid to book the ride, and the drivers were well worth what we tipped them. Excellent time I would easily give this 10 stars out of five.

This was the highlight of our trip. Allison was our driver and her energy was contagious! We had THE best time! Don’t miss this 1.5 hours of absolute joy and fun! Make sure to request Allison, you will not be disappointed!

This was my 1st pedal wagon experience, and I think doing it in Nashville was such a great idea! There’s such an upbeat and energetic vibe in all of Nashville, so pair that with drinking, music, and friends, and anything will be fun! Our driver and bartender (McKenna and Dani) were fantastic! Awesome guides; excellent music; terrific attitudes! They clearly understood the assignment, and made the ride fun with drinking games and again, good music! We were all so sad when the experience was over. I’d definitely do this again!!

WHY THE NASHVILLE BAR BIKE?

Nashville’s most affordable 15-person beer bike offers the ultimate pub crawl experience for your vacation. Pedal your bicycle bar along the best sights and taverns on Broadway and Music Row. This group tour is perfect for birthday celebrations, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate outings, and team building exercises.

Our tour is not just grinding gears and turning sprockets, it is a BYOB party on wheels. We provide the driver, ice, cooler, plastic cups, and premium sound system for all your favorite contemporary and country music. Pedaling is not required for all participants, as the bike features an electric motor. The motor keeps the bike from crawler speed, but does not turn the vehicle into a rocket. Photo of author

Nashville bike bars are the perfect way to explore and experience the city. Whether you want to explore the city's iconic sights or take a leisurely ride with friends, these bike bars are a great way to do it.

The best Bike bars in Nashville include Nashville Pedal Tavern, Sprocket Rocket Party Bike, Nashville Bar Bike, and the Music City Crawler. These pedal-powered pubs offer seating for groups of 6-15 people, allowing you to explore the streets of Nashville in style. Just remember, generally, you must be 21 or older to participate in their tours.

Nashville Pedal Bars

Music City Crawler Nashville

#1 Music City Crawler

Music City Crawler is Veteran and Women-owned and is Nashville's premier pedal and electric-assist-operated beer bike experience!

Are you ready to pedal and sing your way through downtown Nashville, making stops at one to three honky-tonks along the way? These bars have prepared special drink deals just for you, so you can enjoy a cold one while taking in the sights and sounds of Music City.

Their Pedal Pub Tour is a nice activity for tourists visiting Nashville.

For just $38, you'll discover the city's hottest bars on Honky Tonk Row while riding on their 15-passenger party bike.

The tour lasts for 90 minutes and features special drink deals from their honky-tonk partners.

You can choose to book a private tour or join in on one of their public rides; the choice is yours. And don't forget, Veterans and Brides pedal for free on the Music City Crawler! Seniors, teachers, and all first responders also receive a discount.

Each ride can accommodate up to 15 people, and we require a minimum of 6 riders to operate. Before you get started, you'll need to have a valid ID and sign a waiver on board.

The tour time may vary depending on how long you stay at each bar, downtown traffic, and road closures.

You must be 21 years old with a valid ID to ride the Crawler.

You're welcome to bring your own alcohol on the Crawler. However, all alcohol must be in a can.

#2 Nashville Pedal Tavern

Nashville Pedal Tavern is the ultimate way to experience the city's vibrant music scene and party atmosphere!

Imagine a giant party bike that seats up to 15 people, equipped with a bartender and a sound system for your own personal entertainment. You'll pedal through the streets, stopping at the best bars and honky-tonks the city has to offer.

One of the unique features of Nashville Pedal Tavern is that they offer pickup and drop-off points at various locations in the city, so you can plan your route according to your preferences.

The rides are typically 90 minutes long. But be prepared to have 2-3 hours in hand, considering all the loading and onboarding stuff.

And Nashville Pedal Tavern does take group bookings, making it perfect for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or any other special occasion.

There should be six people in the group, and at maximum, there can be 15 people. Don’t worry, if your group is bigger than that, you can easily book multiple bikes.

You'll see some of Nashville's most famous landmarks and attractions on your ride, including Music Row , Broadway , and the famous Country Music Hall of Fame.

The Pedal Tavern also makes pit stops at some of the city's best bars and honky-tonks, where you can enjoy drinks and live music. The bartender on board will be serving drinks, and you'll have the option to bring snacks or food on board.

The Pedal Tavern is a unique and fun way to experience Nashville, and it's definitely something you won't want to miss out on. Keep in mind that you must be 21 years of age or older to participate, and a valid ID is required.

The Pedal Tavern also provides a cooler filled with ice and cups to enjoy your drinks. So book your tour now and get ready for a pedal-powered good time!

#3 Sprocket Rocket

With prices beginning at only $49, the Sprocket Rocket party bike is a nice opportunity to experience the city.

You and your party of up to 15 adults may cruise through Nashville on these bikes while sipping beer or seltzer and taking in the sights and sounds.

The minimum number of passengers required for one of their public trips is 6, and seats are distributed at random by the attendant.

Booking a public tour is still possible if there are less than six of you; the tour company will pair you with strangers to round up your group. If you expect more than 15 people in your party, just make a few more bike reservations.

Lower Broadway and the neighboring streets are a staple of the downtown party circuit. Your driver will try his or her best to avoid steep inclines or blocked roads, but if the Nashville Predators are in town, they will have a backup plan and ride you to a lively neighborhood nearby .

From the moment you check in to the time you are dropped off, your trip will take around 95 minutes. They have ice, coolers, and beverages on board, so there's no need to bring your own.

Order a beer or seltzer in advance or pick one up at the counter when you check-in.

Avoid bringing alcoholic beverages, wine, or glass on the party bike since city rules don't allow them. You should dress casually, with shoes that cover your toes.

You should not wear high heels when cycling since they will cause you to fall.

#4 Nashville Bar Bike

Gather your group of 6 to 15 passengers and enjoy a fun-filled night, or grab a couple of seats for a memorable experience in the Nashville Bike Bar.

Perfect for special events such as birthday celebrations, bachelor parties, corporate outings, and other similar events.

The tour includes a stop at a local tavern and individual prices starting at $30 and private tours starting at $350.

Provide your own cans, but not glasses, and be sure to bring identification showing that you're at least 21 years old. Also, please notice that the alcohol content can't be higher than 8%.

When you rent out the whole bike for a party, you may play any music you choose and decorate it as you see fit. A cooler, ice, water, and glasses are provided for you.

You'll need at least six people to get the bike going, and as many as fifteen if you want to go fast. Their trips last between 1.5 and 1.7 hours, during which time you may relax and enjoy the sights of the city.

To put it simply, they want everyone to feel at ease. Take into account how the raised bike seats may affect your clothing in the event of a wind from above.

High heels are not suitable for the event. Each trip will include one or two stops at one of their favorite local bars and pubs where you may get a drink, take a break, and use the restroom.

A young and accomplished New York-born chef died four hours into a marathon raising money for St. Jude in Nashville after he was found unresponsive in a park, according to his grieving family.

Joey Fecci, 26, a New York native, was a participant in Saturday’s charity St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll run when first responders were called in to Shelby Park to provide CPR and emergency medical assistance to the downed runner, who was transported to a nearby hospital where he died, The Tennessean reports.

“It is with unbearable grief and immense sorrow that we share our dear and beloved Joey transitioned to the other side on Saturday, April 27th,” his family said in a statement. “He was a bright light of inspiration and positivity to everyone that was blessed to cross paths with him.

Chef Joey Fecci, 26, a New York native, died on Saturday.

“He was a treasured son, brother, boyfriend, and friend to so many,” the family added. “He leaves behind a broken family that loves him so very much.”

Fecci’s cause of death remains unknown, but his family has promised to put out a more detailed statement in the future.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series, which operates the marathon, said medical staff tried their best to assist Fecci when he was found unresponsive, but it was too late.

“We share our greatest sympathies with the family and friends of the race participant, and we will continue to offer them our support as they go through this very difficult time,” the organization said in a statement.

Fecci, from Somers, New York, started his restaurant career as a 15-year-old bus boy at the Lucia Restaurant in his hometown, according to Nashville’s Yolan Italian restaurant, his latest employer.

Fecci would go on to become a pizza chef and then manager at Lucia before enrolling at The Culinary Institute of America on Long Island, which saw him intern at Charlie Palmer’s Michelin-starred Aureole restaurant in Manhattan.

The talented chef was hired at the Per Se restaurant on Columbus Avenue before jumping to Chicago to work at the famed Michelin-starred Spiaggia Italian restaurant before its closure in 2021.

Fecci was touted as a talented chef who accomplished so much at such a young age.

Top Chef star Joe Flamm, who worked at Spiaggia, said he was thrilled to hire a then-19-year-old Fecci after recognizing his talent and passion for cooking.

“I’m grateful he spent two years sharing a kitchen with me,” Flamm wrote in a passionate Instagram post .

“I keep telling myself not to just keep asking why, but it’s hard, because I’m f–king angry and I’m heartbroken,” Flamm added, noting that he had spoken to Fecci just two weeks before his death.

Fecci spent two years at the Michelin-starred Spiaggia Italian restaurant in Chicago, where he met talented and famous chefs.

“Joey Fecci, my guy, we will miss you forever.”

While at Spiaggia, Fecci also met his future cooking partner Tony Mantuano, who he would again stumble across in Nashville while walking past The Joseph hotel where the fledgling Yolan restaurant was being established.

Mantuano touted his cooking partner during a 2022 promotion as a chef beaming with skill and commitment.

The young chef also spent time in Italy learning authentic techniques at the Restaurant Dal Pescatore Santini.

“Joey is a storyteller in the kitchen,” Mantuano said in a statement. “This promotion is a testament to Joey’s talent and dedication, and we know he will continue raising the bar to deliver a dining experience that blends exquisite cuisine with extraordinary service and hospitality.”

Yolan said Fecci had been with them for three and half years before announcing his resignation in February.

“I have learned so much during my time here, not just as a chef but as a person,” Fecci wrote on Instagram about his departure. “Yet, the thing that I learned the most is that it’s not the food or the service that makes restaurants so special.

Fecci had most recently worked at the Yolan Italian restaurant in Nashville before stepping down in February.

“It’s the people that dedicate themselves to the craft of hospitality and food, and the guests that come and support those dedicated people,” he added. “The restaurant is just a by-product of passion and culture.”

Loved ones have created a GoFundMe page to raise $25,000 to establish the Chef Joey Fecci Culinary Scholarship Memorial Fund to “support aspiring chefs who wish to follow in Joey’s footsteps and carry on his legacy of culinary excellence.”

Taylor Swift Nashville concert review: 5 moments from her return on the 'Eras' tour

bike tour nashville

Believe the hype.

The 'Eras' tour arrived Friday in Nashville with a mountain of expectations. Three nights in a stadium? In the city where her career started? After a mad dash for tickets? And it's her first major tour in nearly five years?

A normal entertainer may balk at these stakes. But Taylor Swift isn't like other entertainers.

Music City's three-night run on the most talked-about tour of the year kicked off Friday inside Nissan Stadium with record-smashing singalongs, show-stopping duets and an only-in-Nashville surprise. Behind Swift's unmatched ambition and sharp-eyed fanfare, it was the kind of show that'll be talked about long after the final song ended.

Not too bad for a girl who moved to Hendersonville nearly two decades ago to chase her songwriting dreams.

Taylor Swift in Nashville: What surprise songs did she song on storm-delayed night 3?

"This dream that I've had since I was so little I can't even remember first having it, this dream came true for me because of this town and the people in it and the love and nurturing and support I received from this town," she said to kick off Friday's show. "I can't tell you how many feelings I have right now."

From swelling crowds to surprise announcements, read on for five highlights from inside opening night of the 'Eras' tour at Nissan Stadium.

More on 'Eras' in Nashville: Taylor Swift in Nashville: Who we want to see surprise fans at Nissan Stadium

Her marathon era

Like the name suggests, Swift covers so much ground in this show. With a 45-song set spanning 10 albums in nearly three-and-a-half hours, 'Eras' embraces a marathoner spirit typically reserved for catch-'em-while-you-can rock icons like Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney.

But unlike blasting "Born To Run" or leading a spontaneous singalong to "Hey Jude," Swift choreographs her set like a conductor would lead an orchestra or a director would deliver a musical. Each moving part — dancers, band members, set pieces — plays a role in telling a story of the "era" being chronicled on stage.

Backed by towering screens and flanked by her reliable dancers, Swift opened the show by inviting her audience into the rainbow-drenched songs of 2019 album "Lover" before donning a sun-soaked dress in a callback to 2008's "Fearless" and embracing a J.R.R. Tolkien-like fantasy for a handful of spellbinding cuts from 2020 album "Evermore." She traveled through the eras in distinct acts with full and abridged songs — like a stadium-sized Broadway production that at one moment soaked the audience in red lighting and backdrops (because, you know, "Red") before recreating a fireside hang for the folk-tinged "Betty" and other songs off Grammy Award-winning album "Folklore."

She offered a fresh spin on well-worn eras — sometimes literally, like when her backup dancers rode beach cruisers across the stage during "Blank Space" — and gave plenty of attention to the four (!!!) albums released since she last embarked on a coast-to-coast tour, including "Anti-Hero," "Bejeweled" and more from the set-closing "Midnights" era.

Her record-breaking era

Swift invited plenty of company to join Friday night's career-spanning adventure. An audience of nearly 70,500 attended the show, setting a single-night Nissan Stadium attendance record, eclipsing past concerts and professional sporting events.

"Oh my beloved Nashville, you're making me feel so good right now," Swift said early in the show. "Tonight is the highest-attended event to take place in the stadium because 70,000 of you decided to hang with us this evening."

And the benchmark may not hold for long. With two more shows slated for this weekend, Swift could break her own record before leaving town.

More: Nashville pop artist Gayle dreamed of opening for Taylor Swift. Now it's a reality

Her fans' era

They dress for the occasion. They sing along to every word (even when it's 10-minute redux of "All Too Well"). They don't leave the stands until the last note rings out. Beyond songwriter, Swift's superpower may be the dedicated fandom that'll follow her through each cryptic clue, ticketing rush and re-recorded album.

On Friday, these so-called Swifties turned out with bejeweled eye pieces (because "Bejeweled"), head-to-toe cloaks (because "Willow"), snake-covered t-shirts (because "Reputation") and tie-dye pastels (because "Lover"). Some came ready to hear songs that climbed the charts before they were born, while others reveled in re-living eras from life's formative years.

And as each new song kicked in, they jumped at a chance to shout each word — like a group of friends passing around the aux cable on a late night filled with unforgettable songs. Only instead of a designated DJ, they're singing along with Swift.

Or, as Swift described her crowd at one point Friday night: "You guys are, like, on fire."

Her surprise era

After weeks of  well-placed clues and TikTok-fueled speculation , Taylor Swift confirmed Friday — mid-show, no less — which album comes next in her expansive "Taylor's Version" project: "Speak Now."

"I've been planning something for a while," Swift said as the Friday night audience exploded with applause. "It's my love language with you. I plot. I scheme. I plan. And then I get to tell you about it."

As the album title and July 7 release date flashed across the stadium screen, she added: "I think, rather than me speaking about it ... I'd rather just show you."

Swift put a bow on the "Taylor's Version" unveiling with an acoustic rendition of "Sparks Fly," a 2011 single off "Speak Now" before taking audience members back to her self-titled debut album with a piano-backed rendition of 2006's "Teardrops On My Guitar."

"Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" wasn't the only time Swift surprised her fans on Friday night, either. The singer enlisted "Eras" tour opener and indie-rock favorite Phoebe Bridgers for an acoustic duet of "Nothing New," a song the two released together on 2021's "Red (Taylor's Version)."

"This is a regular day in my life," Bridgers quipped as she stepped up the microphone hours after performing her own set.

Swift replied, "I feel the same, getting to sing this song with you for the very first time in a sold-out stadium."

Her openers' era

Bridgers played main support Friday, her first night on the "Eras" tour. As on-and-off rain covered the expansive stage, the singer-songwriter and her five-piece band ripped through dad-dedicated favorite "Kyoto," the sobering "Graceland Too" and other cuts from 2020 album "Punisher."

And the first surprise of the night came during Bridgers' set, when she invited Lucy Dacus and Nashville's own Julien Baker — AKA indie supergroup Boygenius — on stage to sing the trio's new single "Not Strong Enough." Running up and down the stage together, the Boygenius members backed Bridgers through her set-closing number "I Know The End."

"We gotta talk about this," Swift said during her set. "You got to see a genius, a friend ... our creative savoir. I can't believe [Phoebe's] on tour with us."
