A gutless Nationwide auditor did a claims review 3 months later and they want the full amount returned. Three employees of Nationwide said we had a valid claim. Not the auditor. Buyer beware! Taking them to court. Date of experience: February 01, 2024. Useful.

My experience with insurance companies in recent past for a boiler break down was horrendous, I found the quality and professionalism in most areas disappointing and of poor quality/value for money thus the reason I felt compelled to write this review. The insurance has now switched to Aviva and I have been trying unsuccessfully to contact Nationwide/Aviva most of the afternoon to obtain a quote for travel insurance. The service is absolutely abysmal as I have been going round in circles for hours and getting nowhere.
