A turn signal does not mean you have the right of way. It's to let others know you want to change lanes. My car and a car in front of me almost had to drive in a ditch because the driver of 010 bus doesn't know the rules of the road. I will be filling out a formal complaint about this bus and your company.

Just returned from a trip to Paragon Casino resort in Marksville LA. It was an excellent trip. The bus was pristine clean but most importantly the driver Ed and coordinator Bertha represent superb customer service. Loved the entire experience. Looking forward to another trip with this crew. Highly recommend.

We`ve used OK Tours on several casino trips. They always do a good job, the seats do become uncomfortable towards the end, I have a bad back so I feel everything. They have deals with Coushatta Casino that are worth checking out. My wife & I always have fun as does my sister & her husband. They make some stops along the way to get some food & bathroom breaks, since we can only use the bus toilet for #1 only. We are very satisfied customers & plan on going back again.

Driver, bus #009 to Eagle Pass threw our snacks away while we were in casino. Had loud Tejano music playing as we boarded bus. Played old early 60s music too loud. Had to put paper in my ears to block out sound. Play mid-60s is OK.

My wife and I have taken 3 casino trips with OK Tours. The first time the I10 was closed and the detour made the trip last 4 hours longer. The seats are okay for short distance but was very uncomfortable by end of trip. The last trip there was a driver and "tour guide ". The tour guide kept chatting up the driver and to my mind this distracted the driver. This was evident when a wheel barrel blew off a truck in front of us. In trying to avoid striking the object our driver swerved onto shoulder at fairly high speed but still hit the object. Very scary. On the way back she missed our exit and had to double back. I'm sure I will never get my wife on a bus again.

DO NOT TOUR WITH OK TOURS! We have been stranded in the middle of the desert for over 6 hours and we are still waiting for a replacement bus to come get us. We had the A/C unit go off in over 105 degree heat. A young girl passed out and was unresponsive. And what did OK TOURS do?? They said let's stop here and let this young girl gather her composure and then we will take off. Well like I said that was over 6 hours ago. No one has offered to put us up in a hotel room...There are elderly folks out here in the elements. There are people asleep on the concrete sidewalks in the parking lot of a Love's. What the fuck is that??!! (Please excuse my language). But I have been more than patient with this sorry ass excuse for a tour bus company. I am giving them a 1 only because it will not allow me to post if I do not select at least 1 star. Sorry to some of the coordinators. They tried their best. But this is ridiculous and we all deserve a refund!

Great experiences, have been using them for years. Also have know them personally, trustworthy family and company. Would use them again at the drop of the dime. Clean buses and good drivers .

I have been on a few bus trips from San Antonio to Coushatta Casino. I don't remember which company for previous trips, but if I go again, will make sure it is with OK TOURS. The bus was comfortable & the driver made sure we had all information needed. The driver or as I would like to call him, the Captain of our ship, was THE BEST! Captain Mark Cain was definitely the best bus driver ever! His driving skills were evident from the get go & I can honestly say, I felt confident and knew that he would get us there safe & sound (a major consideration for bus travel these days). So take away is: Request Mark Cain for your trips & you will be a happy traveler. And OK TOURS: Mark is deserving of whatever raises he is eligible for. Do whatever you need to do to keep him!! Happy Travels with OK TOURS and Captain Mark Cain!

Oklahoma is rich in history, both in terms of Native American legacy and life on the frontier. From the state-of-the-art Gathering Place in Tulsa to the futuristic Pops roadside attraction in Arcadia to the Five Civilized Tribes Museum in Muskogee, there's plenty to see, learn and experience throughout the state. If you're planning a visit to the Sooner State, this guide can help you find the top things to do.

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

On April 19, 1995, a tragedy rocked Oklahoma when Timothy McVeigh and accomplice Terry Nichols committed the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history. McVeigh's homemade bomb, stashed in a rented truck, killed 168 people in and around the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City and injured several hundred more.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum remembers and honors the victims and survivors of that horrific day. Visitors can view photos, biographies and stories of those impacted by the bombing, as well as read about the heroic efforts by citizens, first responders and leaders from around the nation who came to the aid of survivors buried in the wreckage and helped the city and state heal. Visitors call the memorial and museum a sobering experience but say the stories are told respectfully; if you don't have time for the museum, the memorial alone is worth a visit. Note that you'll want to reserve a ticket to the museum in advance, as a limited number of timed tickets are available each hour.

About half a mile from the bombing memorial in Oklahoma City sits one of the region's leading art institutions. The Oklahoma City Museum of Art has an impressive range of exhibitions, from paintings and photography to glass pieces and sculptures from around the world – though its specialty is American art and postwar abstraction. A state-of-the-art theater offers on-site film screenings on certain days throughout the year for an additional fee. Many past visitors have specifically called out the museum's collection of Dale Chihuly's glass masterpieces as a highlight. The museum doesn't have its own parking lot, so you may need to find a paid public parking space. If you want to stay nearby and take in yet more art, you can't go wrong with the 21c Museum Hotel Oklahoma City , a former car assembly plant turned into a stylish boutique hotel that houses its own contemporary art gallery inside.

Five Civilized Tribes Museum

Located in Muskogee, less than 50 miles southeast of Tulsa, the Five Civilized Tribes Museum is focused on preserving the history, art and culture of the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee and Seminole nations. The term that gives the institution its name came into use in the 1800s to describe the seeming assimilation of these five Native American peoples to the norms of white Americans. This museum houses artwork, artifacts and displays detailing the history of the tribes and their removal from their lands. If you want to learn more about each Indigenous nation, you can also visit the Cherokee National History Museum in Tahlequah, the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur, the Choctaw Cultural Center in Calera, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Museum in Okmulgee and the Seminole Nation Museum in Wewoka.

National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum

If you're interested in learning about Western history, culture and art, the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City is a must. The museum is home to artifacts, artwork and interactive exhibits that give you a taste of what it was like to live in the Old West and how the influences of that period in U.S. history permeate our culture today. You'll be able to learn about the American cowboy, rodeos, Native American culture, the frontier military, Victorian-era firearms and more. Visit Bricktown

Located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, Bricktown is a dining and entertainment district set within a restored warehouse neighborhood. This popular destination is located on a canal that links Bricktown with downtown and the Oklahoma River. While here, travelers can dine at a variety of restaurants and nightclubs, including The Mantel Wine Bar & Bistro, which serves New American cuisine, and the Bourbon St. Cafe. For activities and socializing, HeyDay Entertainment has bowling and an arcade, while Brickopolis has a multilevel laser tag experience where participants hunt aliens, plus an outdoor putt-putt course, climbing wall and bungee trampoline. There's also an array of shops for a little retail therapy, and the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark with minor league baseball games and Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame are steps away.

Gathering Place

This free riverfront park in Tulsa unfurls across more than 65 acres – and the city has plans to expand it to 100. Gathering Place boasts more than 100 unique experiences, including an adventure playground, climbing structures, suspension bridges, slides, puzzles, a sensory garden, a reading tree, a picnic grove and many other attractions. If you're planning a day at Gathering Place, you don't even need to leave for meals: Instead, visit one of the three restaurants within the park. There's also an opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna of Oklahoma, with 400 species of plants, 16 acres of wildflowers, and animals such as great blue herons, squirrels, turtles, bats, owls and more. Past visitors call the park a Tulsa gem and highly recommend it for families with children. If you're planning on staying the night in the city, the Ambassador Hotel Tulsa, Autograph Collection less than 2 miles from the park is highly rated for its amenities and dining.

Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden

The Oklahoma City Zoo seeks to let guests connect with wildlife, and as such you'll be able to see around 1,900 animals throughout the zoo's 140 acres. In addition to regular admission, there are a number of activities you can pay extra for, including the chance to ride a camel, feed a giraffe or rhino, explore a one-of-a-kind exhibit of toy brick animals or take a safari cart tour. Also for an additional fee, the zoo offers up-close encounters with grizzly bears, bison, Indian rhinos, Galápagos tortoises, sea lions and Asian elephants. You can sit down for a meal at a handful of restaurants within the zoo, though some of the options are seasonal. The botanical garden, filled with exotic animals and native plants, covers 120 acres and features flowering trees, wildflower meadows, the largest outdoor butterfly garden and more. Zoo guests say there's plenty of shade, and it offers a lot of fun activities for the whole family.

Factory Obscura Mix-Tape

Factory Obscura Mix-Tape is an immersive and interactive art experience in Oklahoma City. A team of around 30 artists ranging from muralists to musicians alongside community volunteers created this 6,000-square-foot space filled with art you can touch. Visitors say it's unlike any other place you've experienced and can make you feel confused, excited and amused all at the same time. Each element is handcrafted and intended to be accessible for people with vision or hearing loss; there are also spaces designed like "sensory rooms" to accommodate those with autism.

Pops 66 Soda Ranch

Situated on the old Route 66 in Arcadia, just outside of Oklahoma City, you'll find the Pops 66 Soda Ranch. The first thing you'll see is the 66-foot soda bottle, which lights up with different colors at sunset. Visitors can see and buy soda drinks of just about every color and flavor possible, and then check out a variety of other souvenirs such as clothing and hats. You can also stop by the restaurant for a meal or even to just sit down and enjoy a milkshake. Travelers note this small attraction as a great place for a break if you're exploring Route 66 and enjoy seeing all the different soda flavors that are available.

45th Infantry Thunderbird Museum

The 45th infantry division was first organized in 1923 and included service members from Oklahoma, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. Nicknamed the Thunderbirds, the division was one of the first National Guard units to be activated for World War II and also fought in the Korean War. At this Oklahoma City museum, which is the largest you'll find dedicated to the state's military history, visitors can peruse a variety of military weapons and see the cartoon collection of division member Bill Mauldin, as well as learn about the history of the Thunderbirds, including their participation in the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp, and more. On the grounds of the museum, you'll find more than 60 military tanks, vehicles, guns and aircraft. Past visitors of the museum say it's an excellent stop for military buffs and that the guides are very knowledgeable.

Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve

Less than 50 miles north of Tulsa, Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve was initially a ranch retreat built in 1925 by oil baron Frank Phillips. The 3,700-acre space is now a wildlife preserve, home to bison, elk, longhorn cattle and many other species. The museum offers a unique display of Western art and artifacts such as sculptures, ranch memorabilia and old photographs, in addition to a Colt firearms collection and Native American pieces that span pottery, art, baskets, blankets and beads. Travelers call the preserve a pleasant surprise that offers something for just about everyone who visits. If you're planning to stay near the preserve, consider the Hilton Garden Inn Bartlesville or the Hampton Inn Bartlesville.

Beavers Bend State Park

Located in the southeast corner near Broken Bow, this nearly 3,500-acre state park is one of the most popular natural areas in Oklahoma. Outdoor adventurers will have plenty of activities to choose from, including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, river floating and more. At Broken Bow Lake, you'll have opportunities to fish, boat, water ski, canoe and even scuba dive. You can even bring your golf clubs and play the Cedar Creek Golf Course. Some of the other activities include volleyball, mini golf and tennis. Visitors can stay in one of the park's cabins, RV sites or almost 400 campsites. There's also a lodge on the shore of the lake that you can stay in. Visitors say the park is clean and beautiful, with plenty of scenic views while you're off the grid.

For other entertainment, nearby Hochatown offers a variety of family-friendly amusements including bowling and trail rides. What's more, the town has ATV, slingshot and power sports rentals, along with Hochatown restaurants and additional lodging.

Six Flags Frontier City

If you're looking for a full day of fun in Oklahoma City, look no further than Six Flags Frontier City. The theme park has rides for all age groups, including attractions for the most avid thrill-seekers. The park also houses what it calls the largest water structure in Oklahoma: Wild West Water Works, which is included in park admission, features a playground, slides, a tipping bucket and more. If you're planning to stay all day, plenty of restaurants throughout the park can sate your hunger, or you can browse the shops for snacks, souvenirs and gifts. Past guests say it can be a great experience if you have kids, but note that park rides can be consistently down. Six Flags Frontier City typically closes for winter, so be sure to consult the park's schedule before planning your visit.

Experience life at Orr Family Farm

Situated in the southern part of Oklahoma City, Orr Family Farm has been designed as a family-friendly attraction since it first opened its doors in 2004. Some activities, including the tube rollers, life-size foosball field, gemstone mining and cannon blasters, are available in both the spring and fall, but the farm also has seasonally specific attractions, such as autumn's pumpkin patch and hayrides. Orr Family Farm is open from March to late June, as well as mid-September through mid-November, but fear not if you want to enjoy this attraction in summer or winter: You can stay overnight on the farm in a conical tent or Conestoga wagon for an upscale camping experience year-round. As a glamping guest, you'll get access to certain attractions even when the farm is closed to the public. Visitors say Orr Family Farm is an excellent option if you have small children and recommend staying in the covered wagon or tent for at least one night.

Oklahoma Route 66 Museum

With about a 90-mile drive west of Oklahoma City, you can visit the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton. The museum details the complete history of one of the first and most famous highways in the U.S. You'll be exposed to images, myths, and stories about life and travel along the route, as well as what it took to make the iconic road possible. You can also step back in time at the 1950s diner and listen to the music of the time. At the end of your experience, consider stopping by the gift shop to buy signs, books, clothing, toys, games or other items to commemorate your experience. Visitors say the museum tells a compelling story of Route 66, even if you're not particularly fascinated by the highway's history. If you're thinking about staying the night in Clinton, the Hampton Inn Clinton and La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clinton Historic Route 66 are both highly rated by fellow travelers.

Philbrook Museum of Art

If you're going to be in Tulsa, stop by the Philbrook Museum of Art for a cultural experience. The museum first opened in 1939 after Waite Phillips gifted his 72-room mansion, Villa Philbrook, to the city. Now, the historic home is joined by a 70,000-square-foot wing and a 25-acre garden and has been called the most beautiful place in Oklahoma. You can take a self-guided tour through the museum and its grounds or consult the museum schedule to sign up for one led by a curator. You'll be able to see various pieces of art, sculptures, pottery, furniture and photographs from around the world. Many travelers rate it the best thing to do in Tulsa and say the garden alone is worth the cost of admission.

Oklahoma State Capitol

The Sooner State's Capitol building is unique in that it's the only state capitol surrounded by working oil wells. Guided tours, which last about 45 minutes, can walk you through Oklahoma history and the building's Greco-Roman architecture, but you'll want to schedule them in advance. You can also take a self-guided tour of the more than 100-acre property with the aid of a brochure. In addition to 650 rooms, the Oklahoma State Capitol houses murals, restored stained glass, art exhibits and a tribal flag plaza. Visitors say the building's artwork is impressive and the guides are very knowledgeable.

Although Oklahoma has plenty of museums where you can learn about different aspects of the state's history, you won't want to miss the Oklahoma History Center. This Smithsonian affiliate provides a comprehensive look at the state's history of Native American culture, pioneers, aviation, commerce and more. Even before you enter the museum's doors, you'll be able to take a quarter-mile walking tour of the gardens, where you'll get a sample of Oklahoma's terrains, trees, flowers and plants. There are also various statues, an oil and gas park, a Vietnam-era helicopter and other attractions on the museum grounds. Inside the museum, you'll learn about the history of free enterprise in the state, astronauts and aviators, Oklahoma's early settlers and development into a state, and more. Visitors say that the Oklahoma City museum offers an excellent, holistic look at the state's history and can leave you with a deeper appreciation of Oklahoma.

For vintage vehicle enthusiasts, the Forgotten Wheels Museum in Davis, about 80 miles south of Oklahoma City, is a must. The museum offers an impressive array of antique cars and trucks, older authentic Harley Davidson motorcycles – including more than two dozen Harley Hummers that date back to 1948 – and riding accessories. You'll also find other antique collectibles, postcards, children's toys and more. Past guests say that the museum is small but full of nostalgia. If you're thinking about staying overnight in Davis, consider Treasure Valley Casino & Hotel or La Ville Inn.

Washita Battlefield National Historic Site

One of many historic landmarks in Oklahoma, the Washita Battlefield National Historic Site is located in Cheyenne, a little more than 130 miles west of Oklahoma City. This location marks where in 1868 Lt. Col. George Custer made a surprise attack on the Southern Cheyenne village led by Peace Chief Black Kettle, leading to a massacre. The self-guided trail for the site is 1.5 miles long and has 15 stops. You can also step into the visitor center to explore the different exhibits and watch a 27-minute film about the events that led to the ambush and massacre of Indigenous people. Finally, you can visit the Washita Native Garden, where you'll find plants used by the Cheyenne people for daily living, food, medicinal purposes and domestic use. Past visitors say that the Washita Battlefield National Historic Site provides important insight into a dark aspect of U.S. history, and the stories are ones that need to be remembered. There aren't any hotels in Cheyenne, but if you want to stay nearby to take your time exploring this site, options include the Executive Plus Inn & Suites and the Flamingo Inn, both of which are about 20 miles away in Elk City.

Lake Tenkiller

Located about 85 miles southeast of Tulsa, Lake Tenkiller is a favorite among Oklahoma residents for its rocky bluffs and wooded shores, its clear waters with a slight emerald hue, and its amenities. The reservoir is an excellent place for hiking, fishing and boating; if you're a scuba diver, you'll probably love the underwater dive park, which features a helicopter, sunken boats and a plane fuselage. If you're hoping for an exclusively outdoor experience, there are campgrounds in Tenkiller State Park and Cherokee Landing State Park, both of which surround the lake. But there are also hotels, motels and vacation rentals in nearby towns, including Talequah and Muskogee. Visitors and locals say the beauty of Lake Tenkiller is tough to beat and that this reservoir is best for water sports and relaxing on the shore.

First Americans Museum

In Oklahoma City, the First Americans Museum, which opened in September 2021, provides a collective history of the 39 Native American nations that reside in Oklahoma today. While only a few are Indigenous to what is now the state, the rest were removed from their homelands and relocated here in a forced migration known as the Trail of Tears. You'll learn about their unique cultures, resilience and contributions through a variety of museum exhibits with first-person narratives and multimedia experiences. You can also join workshops with artists, artisans and performers, which are held at different times throughout the year and require registering in advance. Visitors say the new museum provides a wonderful and thought-provoking representation of the First Americans.

The Cave House of Tulsa

Near downtown Tulsa, you may come across a home that looks like it was pulled from "The Flintstones." The Cave House is arguably the quirkiest building in the city and was originally built in the 1920s as a restaurant by day and speakeasy at night; a secret tunnel via the fireplace led to a large room set in the hill behind the front portion of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the tunnel has been sealed off, but visitors today can schedule a guided tour of the unique structure. Some swear the Cave House is haunted, which could make it an appealing stop for travelers fascinated by the paranormal. Visitors say the current owner of the home is just as unique as the structure itself and provides guests with fascinating and passionate stories throughout the tour. Tours are available by appointment, so call 918-378-1952 before your trip to reserve a time.

Joseph H. Williams Tallgrass Prairie Preserve

The Joseph H. Williams Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, spread across 40,000 acres about 75 miles northwest of Tulsa, is the largest protected area of tallgrass prairie in the world. The preserve was first created in 1989 when the Nature Conservancy purchased the Barnard Ranch. You can make the scenic 50-mile drive through the prairie and its adjacent ranches, which can take about two hours with stops. Throughout the preserve you can see more than 210 species of birds, as well as bobcats, armadillos, badgers, woodchucks, white-tailed deer and more. There's a dedicated bison unit with more than 2,100 American bison, one of the largest herds in the country. You can also step out of your car at one of the designated picnic areas, enjoy a self-guided nature trail and check out the ranch bunkhouse built in 1920. Visitors say the abundance of wildlife and beauty of the prairie are worth the drive. You can't camp in the preserve, but you can camp nearby at Chase State Fishing Lake and Swope Park. Lodgings are also available in the nearby town of Emporia, among others.

Science Museum Oklahoma in Oklahoma City is known for its hands-on approach to teaching science, art and history. Children can wander the 20,000-square-foot CurioCity and learn through interactive activities. The Kirkpatrick Planetarium features shows exploring the cosmos that are included with your admission to the museum. This institution has a range of other exhibits with opportunities to learn about your body's heat patterns, decorate and color an animal in a digitally simulated forest, and more. Past guests say that while it's especially worth visiting if you're traveling with kids, guests of all ages will appreciate time spent here.

Henry and Anna Overholser Mansion

This mansion was built in 1903 by Henry Overholser – who is considered the "father of Oklahoma City" – and his wife, Anna. Now, the Henry and Anna Overholser Mansion serves as a museum where visitors can learn about the family, as well as their servants and neighbors. Self-guided tours with an introduction given by the museum’s manager are available on certain days, but you'll need to book in advance unless you happen to visit on one of the mansion's "drop-in" days; check its website for more information. If you're visiting Oklahoma City in October, buy a ticket for the History and Haunts tour, which begins after dark on select days and includes scary stories in Oklahoma history. Past visitors say the tour lasts about an hour and presents an interesting slice of the state's history.

Museum of the Great Plains

About 85 miles southwest of Oklahoma City, you'll find the Museum of the Great Plains in Lawton. The museum offers interactive exhibits and self-directed activities that allow guests to learn about human history on the Great Plains, as well as the present and the future of the region. Browse artwork, artifacts, archaeological finds, archives such as advertisements and more. You can also sit down in the auditorium for educational films that can vary depending on the date and time. Visitors say the exhibits are well organized, engaging and educational for all ages. Explore the Rhythm & Routes Oklahoma Music Trail

From jazz and Western swing to blues and modern country music, there are many musicians, performers and venues that have played an important role in the history of the state. To commemorate this, the Rhythm & Routes Oklahoma Music Trail highlights places to visit that were selected to be a part of this trail due to their significant connection and contribution to the state's music history. Oklahoma has a helpful website where visitors can learn more about the trail, see a list of inductees, and plan an itinerary based on a music genre or artist.

There are many famous musicians with highlighted itineraries, including the greatest-selling solo artist in U.S. history, Garth Brooks. His itinerary highlights Brooks' hometown of Yukon (17 miles west of Oklahoma City), where visitors can see the water tower that says "Home of Garth Brooks" and drive along Garth Brooks Boulevard. You can then venture to Stillwater to visit Willie's Saloon (now State Room Bar), where he played regularly while attending Oklahoma State University, and the Tumbleweed Dance Hall, where Brooks worked as a bouncer.

Another popular itinerary option is Carrie Underwood's route, with stops at the Happy Paws Animal Shelter she opened in her hometown of Checotah as well as her high school. The Reba McEntire itinerary lets you see her hometown of Chockie, drive along Reba McEntire Avenue in Stringtown and visit the McSwain Theater in Ada, where McEntire performed before being discovered. What's more, Reba's Place, a new dining and entertainment venue in Atoka, is scheduled to open in November 2022.

You'll find this 15-acre natural oasis right in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Myriad Botanical Gardens features ornamental gardens, a carousel, an outdoor ice rink during the winter, a dog park, splash pads for the summer, a children's garden and playground, and more. Before your trip, look at this attraction's calendar for concerts, bulb displays, movies, classes, children's festivals and other special events that you might enjoy. Some say the gardens feel like an escape from the bustle of the city and offer a relaxing experience.

Fans of the Food Network show "The Pioneer Woman" venture to this town in Osage County where they can tour The Lodge at Drummond Ranch, the filming location of the popular cooking show. While tickets are not offered in advance, visitors can go to The Mercantile in downtown Pawhuska, where complimentary tickets are available for tours offered on that particular day. (Note, as it is a filming location on a working ranch, daily tours are not available; be sure to check the calendar before planning your trip). While at The Mercantile – the destination restaurant owned by Food Network star Ree Drummond and her husband – you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner in the restaurant; grab a fresh-baked treat or crafted coffee at the bakery; and shop for fun finds in the historic century-old building on Main Street. What's more, you can spend the night in "cowboy luxury" at The Pioneer Woman Boarding House. Just a few steps from "The Merc," this eight-room hotel owned by the "Pioneer Woman" herself offers regionally inspired decor and walls adorned with photographs taken by Ree Drummond.

Ahead of her next album, IU has finally announced her massive, first-ever world tour. The singer will kick off the tour with two weekends of shows in Seoul, before heading to Yokohama, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta and Hong Kong in the following months, playing two shows at each stop.

Taylor Swift Has Given Fans a Lot. Is It Finally Too Much?

Swift has been inescapable over the last year. With the release of “The Tortured Poets Department,” her latest (very long) album, some seem to finally be feeling fatigued.

Four new studio albums. Four rerecorded albums, too. A $1 billion oxygen-sucking world tour with a concert movie to match. And, of course, one very high-profile relationship that spilled over into the Super Bowl .

For some, the constant deluge that has peaked in the past year is starting to add up to a new (and previously unthinkable) feeling: Taylor Swift fatigue.

And it is a feeling that has only solidified online in the days following the release of “The Tortured Poets Department,” which morphed from a 16-song album into a 31-song, two-hour epic just hours after its release .

Many critics (including The New York Times’s own) have suggested that the album was overstuffed — simply not her best. And critiques of the music have now opened a sliver of space for a wider round of complaint unlike any Swift has faced over her prolific and world-conquering recent run.

“It’s almost like if you produce too much… too fast… in a brazen attempt to completely saturate and dominate a market rather than having something important or even halfway interesting to say… the art suffers!” Chris Murphy, a staff writer at Vanity Fair, posted on X .

Which is not to say nobody listened to the album; far from it. Spotify said “Poets,” which was released on Friday, became the most-streamed album in a single day with more than 300 million streams .

And of course, many of Swift’s most ardent fans, known as “Swifties,” loved her 11th album or, at least, have decided to air any reservations in private conversations. The first days of the album’s release have been greeted with the usual lyrical dissections for key allusions hidden within the songs, attention to every word that few other artists receive.

But others, including some self-identified Swift fans, have freely admitted frustration. Fans and critics alike have contended that Swift’s lyrics have become a tad verbose and that the tracks on this latest album — many of them breakup songs — sounded a whole lot like others she has already put out . The internet has also provided an almost unlimited supply of jokes about the length of the album .

Some admonished Swift for selling so many versions of “Poets” only to double its size after those orders were in, part of a cynically corporate rollout . (Care for the CD , vinyl or the Phantom Clear vinyl ?) The Daily Mail cobbled together what it deemed “The 10 WORST lyrics in Taylor Swift’s new album — ranked!”

For its part, Reductress , the satirical women’s magazine, offered a post titled “Woman Doing Her Best to Like New Taylor Swift Album Lest She Face the Consequences.”

Those who dare to publicly criticize Swift are acutely aware of the potential for backlash. Murphy, the Vanity Fair writer, made a dark joke about it . At least one X user who posted a lengthy thread eviscerating Swift, the album and its rollout took the post private after it got more than three million views. Paste Magazine opted not to put a byline on its harsh review of Swift’s album, citing safety concerns for the writer.

In an unusual twist, even Swift herself is widely viewed as admonishing her most militant defenders in one particular song on the new album, “But Daddy I Love Him.” Some contingents of Swift’s fanbase strongly disapproved of her brief relationship with Matty Healy of the 1975 and appear to now be bristling at the amount of record real estate Healy consumes on the latest album .

Weird, complicated times in Taylor land.

“It might be a tough few days for the fanbase,” Nathan Hubbard, a co-host of the Ringer podcast, “ Every Single Album ,” wrote in a social media thread about “Poets” on Friday . “They’ll hear some valid criticism they aren’t used to (if the critics dare), and for many they’ll have to reconcile their own truth that this isn’t their favorite, while still rightly celebrating it and supporting her.”

Indeed, grinding through the 31-song double album after midnight had felt like “a hostage situation,” Hubbard wrote.

On a new podcast episode, which was released over the weekend, Hubbard and his co-host, Nora Princiotti, were among those who pointed out that while the album may be imperfect, Swift simply may have needed to purge herself of the songs on “Poets” to process a turbulent time in her life.

Princiotti said she enjoyed much of the album and was careful to stipulate that “Poets” did contain several “special songs.”

But she also allowed for some “tough love.”

“Musically, I do not really hear anything new,” she said, adding that Swift “could have done a little bit more self editing.”

“I don’t think the fact that this is a double-album that is more than two hours in length serves what’s good about it,” Princiotti said. “And I think that for the second album in a row, I’m still sort of left going, ‘OK, where do we go from here?’”

Princiotti ultimately graded “Poets” a “B.” And in the world of her podcast and universe of Taylor Swift, Princiotti acknowledged — that might have been an all-time low.

Oklahoma State Football Coach Mike Gundy Lists $8M Home—One of the State’s Priciest

Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy is making big real estate waves.

The Cowboys boss has listed his massive ranch-style home in Stillwater, OK , for a whopping $8 million.

That price makes it one of the most expensive properties on the market in Oklahoma . It’s also the priciest home in this college town—by far. The runner-up is priced at $3,375,000 in a town where the median list price is a very modest $275,000.

According to local reports , Gundy decided to list the place because the 110-acre property is “just a lot for two people.”

Indeed, the luxe interior with six bedrooms, 7.5 baths, and more than 13,850 square feet probably feels pretty cavernous.

While the scale of the grounds feels ranchlike, the home’s interior design gives off hunting-lodge vibes. The rooms are decked out with antler chandeliers, animal-print upholstery, and rough-hewn beams and columns made from tree trunks. Rustic and warm, the vaulted, two-story great room features a huge stone fireplace and large windows, along with wood floors and ceilings.

Upscale appliances are installed in the kitchen, which opens to the formal dining room and features countertop seating. This dwelling is akin to a small resort, thanks to the home theater and workout space, plus the large outdoor patio. The pool is seriously high end, with a waterfall, hot tub, and minibridge. You can even dive into the water from the “cliffs” that surround it.

Gundy, 56, is an Oklahoma native who starred at OSU as a quarterback in the late 1980s. He took the top coaching job at OSU in 2005 and has a record of 166-79 over his 19 seasons.

Infant among four killed in Oklahoma tornados; widespread damage reported

Severe storms rolled through Oklahoma Saturday, producing damaging tornadoes and flash flooding.

While the National Weather Service has not yet confirmed the number of tornadoes, storm damage has been reported in multiple areas across the state, including Sulphur, Holdenville and Marietta. KFOR-4 reported there were 17 tornadoes Saturday night into early Sunday.

The Oklahoma medical examiner has confirmed three storm-related fatalities: two in Holdenville and one in Marietta. Gov. Kevin Stitt on Sunday announced a fourth fatality in Sulphur. 

Hughes County authorities confirmed one of the victims was a 4-month-old child. The other victim there was an adult male.

The Oklahoma emergency management office said 100 injuries had been reported as a result of the storms.

OG&E reported more than 31,000 customers were without power early Sunday.

National Weather Service confirms EF3 tornadoes in Sulphur, Marietta

The National Weather Service on Sunday evening released preliminary damage survey results for four tornadoes that occurred Saturday night.

• Marietta : Confirmed as at least an EF3, with further investigation necessary to determine if rating will go higher.
• Sulphur : Confirmed as at least an EF3, with further investigation necessary to determine if rating will go higher.
• Stillwater : EF0 on the northwest side of the city. Max winds 70 mph.
• Newkirk : EF0 on the west and north of the city. Max winds 75 mph.

Dollar Tree distribution center in Marietta heavily damaged

The massive Dollar Tree distribution center on the west side of Marietta sustained heavy damage in Saturday night's storms.

Video taken of the facility Sunday seems to show tornado damage running through the middle of the 1 million-square foot facility, which sits just off Interstate 35.

The distribution center opened in Marietta in 2003 and underwent a major expansion in 2013. According to reports, the facility employed more than 200 people. The facility supplies products to Dollar Tree stores in eleven states.

Stitt tours damaged areas of Sulphur

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt toured heavily damaged areas in downtown Sulphur Sunday. He said it was the most damage he's seen as a result of a tornado in his six years as governor.

"Definitely the most damage since I've been governor," Stitt said at a press conference in Sulphur. "I've seen a lot of damage, I've been around the state. This is my sixth year. But what I saw in downtown Sulphur is unbelievable."

Stitt said Oklahoma officials were working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency on damage assessments.

"We'll do whatever we can to help put the pieces back together," he said. "Thank goodness it was a downtown, that there wasn't a lot of people here at 10:30 at night. You just can't believe the destruction."

Oklahoma price gouging statute in effect

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond announced Sunday the state's price gouging statute is now in effect.

The statute prohibits an increase of more than 10% for the price of goods and services after an emergency has been declared. It triggers automatically after the governor issues a state of emergency.

To report instances of price gouging, residents can contact he AG's consumer protection unit at (833) 681-1895.

Drummond also warned residents with storm damage to avoid door-to-door contractors who demand upfront payment.

Oklahoma highways closed due to storm damage, high water

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said early Sunday that five counties have highways affected by storm damage or flooding:

Hughes County

• All lanes of north and southbound SH 48 are closed between SH 9E and US 270, near Holdenville due to severe weather clean-up

Love County

• Northbound I-35 is narrowed to one lane at mm 15, in Marietta. Southbound lanes are open, but drivers should be prepared for delays and intermittent lane closures as crews work to clear the area of debris
• All lanes of north and southbound US 77 are closed south of Marietta due to severe weather clean-up

McIntosh County

• All lanes of US 266 are closed at N 4220 Road, just east of Checotah, due to high water

Murray County

• All lanes of SH 7 and US 177 are closed in Sulphur due to severe weather clean-up

Pittsburg County

• North and southbound US 69B are closed between SH 113 and McAlester due to high water
• All lanes of east and westbound SH 31 are closed between New Baker Road and Haywood Road due to high water
• All lanes of east and westbound SH 63 are closed between Crawley Road and Hopper Road due to high water

Chickasaw Nation Recreation Area near Sulphur closed

The Chickasaw National Recreation Area just south of Sulphur is closed Sunday due to storm damage and flooding.

Areas in and around Sulphur received as much as 7 inches of rain in addition to tornado damage.

What they're saying about Saturday's tornadoes, storms in Oklahoma

Oklahoma politicians and others released statements Sunday, expressing their thoughts after Saturday's storms:

Congressman Tom Cole, R-Oklahoma: “My thoughts are with those who have been affected by or have suffered a loss as a result of the terrible tornadoes that swept through Oklahoma last night. I would also like to thank our first responders who have been on the ground responding so nobly. My office and I are monitoring the situation closely and will help to ensure that the necessary assistance is made available.”

Gov. Kevin Stitt: “My prayers are with those who lost loved ones as tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma last night," Stitt said in an early Sunday news release. "Thank you to Oklahoma Emergency Management and those who have worked through the night to keep Oklahomans safe and have worked to clear debris and assess damage.”

House Speaker Charles McCall, R-Atoka: "My prayers go out to the citizens of Sulphur, all of Murray County and those across the State of Oklahoma affected by the severe weather this weekend. As our neighbors survey the damage and begin to rebuild, my office is available to provide individuals and businesses with guidance on how to access necessary resources. Please do not hesitate to reach out if we can provide assistance throughout the cleanup and rebuilding process."

Archbishop Paul S. Coakley: "Parishioners and Oklahomans, in the wake of Saturday storms that devastated the Sulphur area and other areas of our state, be assured that I am praying for all affected where there have been fatalities, injuries and property damage to homes and livelihoods. You will remain in my prayers."

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond: "Our prayers are with the communities that have experienced such tragic loss and now face the hard work of recovery. In the aftermath of these devastating storms, unscrupulous actors should know that my office will absolutely not tolerate exorbitant prices on goods and services desperately needed by Oklahomans during this difficult time.”

Artesian Hotel in Sulphur damaged in storms

The Chickasaw Nation's popular Artesian Hotel, Casino and Spa in Sulphur was damaged in the storms Saturday night.

According to the hotel's Facebook page, there were no reports of injuries to staff or guests, but the building was damaged on its south side and had multiple windows blown out. The building's fire suppression system also activated during the storm causing more damage.

As of Sunday morning, the hotel and casino were without power and its water and gas lines had been shut off.

I-35 reopens in southern Oklahoma after nearly 9 hour closure

Oklahoma's Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reopened Interstate 35 at mile marker 15 just before 9 a.m. this morning, the agencies announced. The highway was closed just after midnight.

Authorities were forced to close the interstate's north and south bound lanes just after midnight when a tornado that struck Marietta covered the roadway with debris and caused an unknown number of crashes.

A notice published by the highway patrol announcing the reopening did not specify what kinds of crashes happened, how many vehicles were involved or if anyone was hurt or killed. Additional details will likely be released later on Sunday.

How much rain did Oklahoma get?

In addition to extensive damage from tornadoes and high winds, Oklahoma also had several locations get 5-plus inches of rain.

According to the Oklahoma Mesonet , Sulphur was dealing with nearly 7 inches of rain in addition to the damage from Saturday's tornadoes.

Areas near Ada and Fittstown also saw more than 5 inches of rain.

Stitt declares state of emergency for 12 counties

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt on Sunday morning declared a state of emergency for 12 counties: Carter, Cotton, Garfield, Hughes, Kay, Lincoln, Love, Murray, Okfuskee, Oklahoma, Payne, and Pontotoc counties.

"Due to impacts from severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds, hail, and flooding beginning April 27, 2024 including extensive damage to power lines and infrastructure, it is necessary to assist and expedite all efforts of relief," the order says.

The state of emergency will remain in effect for 30 days.

“My prayers are with those who lost loved ones as tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma last night," Stitt said in an early Sunday news release. "Thank you to Oklahoma Emergency Management and those who have worked through the night to keep Oklahomans safe and have worked to clear debris and assess damage.”

OKC's Festival of the Arts, Memorial Marathon happening Sunday

Well before daybreak, the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon got underway early Sunday in downtown OKC, while the Festival of the Arts is set to reopen at 10 a.m. Sunday for its final day in and around Bicentennial Park.

In one of the changes to this year's festival, the grounds are opening an hour earlier Sunday to accommodate  OKC Memorial Marathon  participants and staying open an hour later until 7 p.m.

How many tornadoes in Oklahoma last night?

The National Weather Weather Service has not yet confirmed the number of tornadoes in Oklahoma late Saturday and early Sunday. However, significant damage was reported in Sulphur, Ardmore and near Holdenville. Minor damage was reported in Oklahoma City and Norman.

Oklahoma Emergency Management was collected damage reports from across the state late Saturday. As of 1:30 a.m. Sunday, local emergency crews were still conducting damage assessments, so this list is not complete:

• Ardmore Emergency Management reports damage and power outages in Ardmore. Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reports injuries and power lines down in Carter County at the Flying J Truck Stop on Michelin Road. Plain View School was also damaged in the storms.
• Cotton County Emergency Management reports three to five homes damaged in the Devol area. Numerous trees are down. One storm-related vehicle accident is also reported.
• Duncan Emergency Management reports roadway flooding in the City of Duncan. Stephens County Emergency Management reports Clarity Creek in Duncan is close to overflowing.
• Garfield County Emergency Management reports two homes damaged in the Hillsdale area.
• Grant County Emergency Management reports numerous trees damaged or down.
• Hughes County Emergency Management reports 14 homes are damaged or destroyed in Holdenville. Highway 9 is blocked due to debris in the roadway. Muscogee Creek Nation is assisting with debris clearing and searching for area of impact. Seminole and Seminole County Emergency Management and Fire and Sheriff are providing command support. Oklahoma City Task Force One will respond Sunday for Search and Rescue support.
• Kay County Emergency Management reports three to four structures were damaged by storms earlier this evening northwest of Newkirk. Numerous trees and power poles were down. Two vehicle accidents were a result of the storms. Heavy rain also caused flooding on area roads.
• Lincoln County Emergency Management reports debris and damage in the Davenport and Sparks areas.
• Love County Emergency Management reports damages in and around Marietta including damage to the Marietta Hospital. Hospital patients took shelter during the storms and no injuries in the hospital are reported. I-35 north is closed at the Texas State Line due to overturned vehicles and powerlines across the highway. The Chickasaw Nation is providing incident support in Marietta.
• Marlow Emergency Management reports roadway flooding on Highway 81 and E. Apache Ave.
• McClain County Emergency Management reports damage west of Goldsby along Highway 74B.
• Midwest City Emergency Management reports at least one structure damaged and multiple powerlines and limbs down.
• Murray County Emergency Management reports significant damage in Sulphur and numerous injuries. Search and rescue is ongoing at this time. OHP reports troopers are responding to apartments on Woodruff where tornado damage occurred. US-177 approximately 2 miles north of Sulphur is closed due to flooding.
• Okmulgee County Emergency Management reports the Town of Morris has multiple power lines and power poles down. Search and rescue is ongoing and the county is clearing debris from the roadways.
• Payne County Emergency Management reports damage to trees and outbuildings near Lone Chimney.
• Tillman County Emergency Management reports flash flooding north of Grandfield. Numerous powerlines are down.

Cowboys Pick Tyler Guyton and His Family Had Incredible Draft Night Celebration

The former Oklahoma tackle's draft party went wild after he got the call from Dallas.

On Thursday night the Dallas Cowboys traded back from No. 24 to No. 29 in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft and selected Oklahoma tackle Tyler Guyton. It was good maneuvering from the 'Boys, who picked up an extra third-round pick while still getting the reinforcements they need at tackle following the offseason departure of longtime blindside protector Tyron Smith.

For his part, Guyton was extremely happy to hear his name called, as evidenced by video of him and his family receiving the call from the organization. In fact, his family may have even been more psyched. You might want to turn down the volume for this one.

As Jake Peralta famously said : Chills. Literal chills. What a beautiful explosion of joy. This is seriously what draft night is all about. It is fun to dissect each and every pick but watching a group of young men realize their lifelong dreams is truly special. Everyone reacts differently and this sort is the best to watch— one big family screaming incomprehensibly in celebration and happiness.

The green room is cool and everything but this is the good stuff. Nothing brings out true emotion like being in a comfortable environment surrounded by family and friends. The energy coursing through the room is palpable.

A wonderful couple of clips, and one that definitely hammers home how excited Guyton is to be a Cowboy.
